The mystery Che came from England's Orchard. They believe it is either Hwang Kum 2 or Chul Ri.

[00:00:00]All right, I'm doing a little update on my chay fruit. We did some investigating and we believe the scions came out of England's Orchard and that these early varieties are probably Hwang Kum 2 or Chul Ri.

[00:00:15]I think they're Korean varieties. This one looks like it's maybe, you know, another week and a half before it's ready. There's some that are not quite there yet.

[00:00:28]You can see some of these as well. Now, if you start to pick these early, you'll see a white latex come out of them and that's very similar to figs and mulberries.

[00:00:41]And so you know that they're not ripe and they will have kind of a nasty latex-y taste to it. Now, if we go over here to a variety that is completely different.
