Mastering an entire album requires a systematic approach where the engineer first establishes a reference song (typically the loudest, most energetic track) to create a consistent tonal and loudness baseline, then applies a standardized mastering chain across all tracks while making song-specific tonal adjustments to ensure each track fits within the album's overall sound while maintaining its unique character.

Mastering a full album in 2 hoursAdded:
Mhm.
>> Yo.
Sorry.
Just getting myself together here.
Okay, first song.
Neither.
These are Yeah, let's go. Let's go. Let's go.
I'm good, sir.
>> [clears throat] >> How are you doing?
Getting up.
>> So we are trying to master a whole album right now.
I'm just dropping the songs in here.
I've got instrumental backtrack and the main song.
>> [clears throat] >> What's next?
Strong and mighty.
Okay, so strong and mighty was the single and that song is out already and I mastered it.
But it's all good.
It is will be our one of our reference points, I guess.
Eternity.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> Excuse me.
So I'm busy I'm figuring this out as I go. I don't have a template for this.
I'm just engineering on the fly.
>> [clears throat and cough] >> Yeah, I mean, you can do it any way you want, really.
I don't know. I haven't mastered an album like all the songs in the same session in a long time.
But, that is what is required today, so let's get cracking.
Okay, first things first, let's do markers.
This is going to help us export later.
Cycle marker with a title.
And these are gwe.
Is it these are or these are?
Uh these are.
Okay.
Right.
Next song.
And then uh third song.
Olutando.
Put the numbers in.
This is mastering as well. Mastering is just admin, really.
This song is already done.
>> Next, Lord Jesus.
Mhm?
Do I have Lord Jesus twice?
Apparently.
Okay.
Yeah. I can see it.
I'm very tired. My brain might be glitching.
There we go. Next song.
We call you.
You guys probably don't have audio.
All the glory All the glory And I will encounter your grace.
>> [music and singing] >> Oh my days.
>> [music] >> So the reason why the markers are important is cuz when we export later you can tell Cubase to export the markers and use the names of the markers.
That saves me naming files later.
>> [clears throat] >> Okay, so let's see. So first thing I'm going to do is like pick pick sort of like a a main song a signature a signature sound maybe.
And for me that's usually like one of the louder bigger songs.
You know, and then I get the sound of that and then I would sort of like work back to the rest of the songs.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> That's what our song looks like.
>> [music] >> eternity We come running [music and singing] out.
We all stand until your kingdom come.
So, I want to export a test of this and analyze it.
Excuse me.
Crap.
Okay, and then go and have a look at it.
Okay, there we go.
So, the reason I do this, you can see now why.
The purple one is the whole mix, right?
The orange one is just the section of the song, the loudest part.
And I like to analyze the loudest part because the loudest part of a song follows the pink noise curve very well.
If you don't know pink noise, it's equal energy per octave or something like that.
Anyway.
And then I can take another loud song that I know the curve of and impose it over where I am now.
And by doing so, I can see with my eyes and my ears, don't worry.
But I can see where the the mix might need a few moves.
You can see here there's a presence dip.
There's good mids, though. There's a bit of a low mid drop.
But we the sub energy is very good and and similar to my reference.
Does that make any sense, right?
Okay.
So, now my mastering chain we need to get that in here somehow. So, I'm going to do this.
Not that.
That.
So, I'm sending all of these tracks to this thing over here, right?
>> [singing] [music] >> Then I would go in here load my mastering chain.
So, I hope you're following all these songs and I'm going here.
Right?
But I have some things that I want to do, so I don't want to have um Oh, set my ceiling minus half a dB.
Not minus 2 dB, Jerry.
1 dB, half a dB.
It's good.
So, I just want to see how am I going to make this work?
So, the tonal work I don't really want to do here. It's more about the loudness and limiting.
>> [clears throat] >> You do minus 0.1.
Nice.
I don't know. I think you'd still get some overshoots at that level.
Sometimes I've done a minus 2.5.
I find minus half a dB is enough to um cover the overshoots. You can see, so this is a waveform, flatline.
But as soon as you go to like an MP3, then you start getting like these overshoots.
Uh like that.
See that?
>> [clears throat] >> Anyway.
Where are we now? Oh, we checking out this mastering.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> And we're already very loud.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Yeah, so we are working on So, basically the maximizing is going to be the same for everybody, all the songs, but they might need some tonal work.
That's why I have bypassed every everything that's EQ, yeah, I bypassed it.
And the only thing I'm concerned about is loudness here.
Right?
>> [sighs] >> We will make more adjustments as we go.
Yeah, the nice color box as well. Mr. Shike.
>> [music] >> The view meter set to seven.
And what that does is when I the needle is dancing around zero, I know I'm hitting about minus eight loves or so.
It's a nice way. Also this guy, you might you guys know this guy.
The Insight from iZotope.
It was free and I just grabbed it while it was free.
Very accurate, I must say.
>> [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, it's kind of bugging out, but anyway.
Um so, yeah.
We're using Eternity as our anchor for this project.
>> [music] >> Sounds good. I like it today. It's doing something I like.
>> [music] >> For mastering, I want it to be dancing like be above three.
Sometimes going into the red now and then.
Cuz above three and plus three, man, this area is tasty.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, tape.
Done.
And then this thing.
This is something I like to do with mastering is like just bump up the drums off a dB, the bass, and the vocals. You can see they're moving down in little increments.
So, that just makes sure whatever you're losing through the limiting, it's kind of restoring that information.
>> [clears throat] >> This and this.
Before my final limiter, so it's giving my transients the best chance of survival.
>> [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, so now I can grab Oh, I need to check boost, sorry.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> So what that's doing is giving me some nice upward compression.
Upward compression is like free automation free movement in the mix.
Okay, let's do a test again.
Okay.
>> [music] >> Nice minus eight loves on this section.
I like to check here where it's very loud. How loud that is.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Good to go.
I'm good with those numbers.
>> [snorts] >> Let's have a look at the EQ. Okay, the EQ hasn't changed much.
Oh, it did change a little bit.
If you If you look at it, but then I think it's from Gulfoss.
Gulfoss doing its thing.
So, you know, we've got this mid spike to deal with.
And maybe bringing up a little bit of low mids and a little bit of presence.
So, what I'm planning to do is before choosing plugins, I am not choosing plugins today. I can tell you that.
>> [clears throat] >> Like, do you mean in general or for this specific session?
Okay, so this is on and active. So, here I'm going to take off all the dynamic stuff.
And keep the EQ stuff. So, I don't need Oh, I need that.
I don't need that. I don't need that. I don't need that. Don't need any of this cuz the loudness is taken care of on this bus.
>> [music] >> I love this EQ. It's very >> [clears throat] >> transparent and clean and tasty.
Well, um this mastering chain that I have here is a preset that I saved.
I did a I revamped my mastering like last year.
And I ended up with a chain like this, which is anti-aliasing filtering, the first clipper, soothe, boost, and tone shaping, tone shaping, tone shaping, tone shaping.
More tone shaping and correction.
This is taste.
Does something nice to the low mids.
This is also like a glue / clear coat. That's what this is for me, the tape.
Then, after the tape, I've got the stem splitter just to restore my punch.
And punctuate as well to give me even more punch.
And that's punching hard into the final limiter, Flatline, which is so in hybrid mode, clean and transparent, which is what it does is it sends transients to a clipper, sends everything else to a limiter, so you get this best of both situation. Dither.
I like the sound of 16-bit. It just sounds nice.
VU just for monitoring and that's it.
So, in terms of if you're asking me like what I'm listening for before choosing I did like a couple of days of listening and deciding what I wanted.
But, it takes It took a while because Let me say it takes months and years of development because the chains I don't Often, I don't completely re- do a chain. You know, I'll have it like for mastering, I will >> [clears throat] >> I will What do you call it?
The chain has grown over time, you know, I will choose things that I think worked and then I'll add a little bit, I'll add a little bit and you can see it's like full now.
Right here, True Balance is the one, bro.
I use this one a lot.
Because I can load my mix into it and that's what I love about it.
Paz Love Paz for stereo positioning.
>> [music] >> Paz is a classic and I like this inside one. It's very good.
Take tape off here. Yish.
>> [music] [music] >> Yeah.
>> [music] >> I'm feeling good.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> You stand up. You stand up for the Lord.
You stand up for the Lord.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> It's [music] getting so that that Steven Universe is getting on my It's getting so that that >> [music] [music] [singing] [music] >> You're worthy to be praised, oh [music] God.
We'll forever sing your praises.
We'll forever sing your praises. [music] I don't >> [music] [music] >> 4 years. Yeah.
That's university. That's a That's a degree, bro.
I just Just stick around, man. Like Like Chris and Jerry and those guys.
They just been here since I started this thing.
I think it was February last year.
Yeah, 1 year in.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, test three looks like that.
The yellow one.
Can see we're much closer to the reference now.
Soothe is taking care of that area, but maybe I should go in and give it some more.
>> [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] >> So that's the plan. So it's tonal work directly here and then loudness down here.
You know, Cubase used to only have eight inserts, hey? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.
It used to end there, which is mad.
And then they added eight more.
>> [clears throat] >> And this green line was the is the pre and post mark.
So anything before that is pre-fader, after that's post-fader. But you can now move this line anywhere you want it.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, beautiful.
I'm going to put this >> [music] >> in here. the first song.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> And then that one's done.
So, I don't know.
The real thing now is just to match tones and make sure the album flows.
>> [clears throat] [music] [music] [music] >> So, this is eternity.
So, what I need to do now is open the lane track and pull the instrumental and backtrack into the correct space.
Okay, so now we've got mastering for backtrack instrumental.
>> [music] >> You can remove these other tracks.
Okay, and then so we got Eternity.
I think Ganja is similar.
>> [music] [music] [singing] [music] [singing] >> So let's get a test of Ganja.
>> [music] [music] >> Ooh, Ganja give me.
So you see how you you could do this is like build your mastering off of different different songs.
Interesting. Look at that bassline on this one. It's like Is it cuz it's synth bass, right?
>> [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay.
I guess it's just more bass on that one.
So, I'm going to take this chain and drop it here.
One, two, three.
Yeah.
Oh, maybe this one as well.
You can't hear it.
Sorry, man. It's late. I'm not talking loud.
One, two.
>> [music] >> Let's do the same move with the lanes.
Backtrack.
Instrumental.
>> [music] [music] [music] [cough and clears throat] >> Excuse me.
Okay.
Have another look.
let's Get all this extra bass. Where did it come from? It's the same album.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Where is my tonal plugins?
Oh, here.
Okay, so let's have a look at that.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> So, I'm seeing a spike, spike, spike, spike. So, I can like put soothe just to cover that and that.
Like around 2K and then around What's that?
400 600 Okay, cool.
Let's see.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] >> Okay, cool.
>> [singing] [music] [singing and music] >> Okay.
Cubase likes to move this progress bar around and around.
You guys see UAD's got like 10 plugins for $99.
I need to go get that thing.
There we go.
Closer to where we want to be curve wise.
Still a lot of bass though.
Don't know where that came from.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Taking out more bass, seeing if that helps.
And also seeing how loud this is.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Maybe the bass is just supposed to be there. I don't know.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> I mastered it, hey.
Yeah.
I know mastering is is important.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> That bass.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> You can hear how they are both They're actually in the same key.
And tonally they are talking to each other nicely.
And loudness.
This is the one thing I like about having the songs out like this. You can seriously match the the loudness very well.
>> [music] [music] >> There we are.
Hello orange, you are now area, a nice big 60 good low end everything I think I could all of this down the low mid stuff.
>> [music] [music] >> Now the question is can I go sleep?
I hate not sleeping.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> to your will and to your way.
>> [music] >> One more.
Eight tests.
Yeah, I'm very OCD.
Or am I? Is it perfectionism?
I'm a perfectionist. There we go.
Okay, so happy with that. Nice good tones. This bump here, I still feel like it might be a bit much.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, is there another song that's got this vibe?
>> [music] [music] [music] >> You trust the process.
Okay, so now we've got this guy.
>> [music] [music] >> I think there's enough energy here.
I could say this is nice.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Okay, let's do a test.
If I could just get this plug-in and say analyze the section for me.
When we turn it, you can see where it is. Ish, it's very dark. Hey, look at that.
From 2K up it's like missing energy.
>> [music and singing] [music] [music] >> Look at for I'd say yes, we need to bring some of this up, but not too much, you know, we can just be smart in how we do it and this This is all lead vocal mids that needs control.
1.41k and 700.
Yeah, let's see.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Do this.
2K.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Let's do this at 3.5k.
>> [music and singing] [music] [music] >> And 2dB My favorite lift.
>> [music] >> Okay.
Who slept so sound?
>> [music] >> Let's see what it looks like now.
>> [music] >> Even through this.
Okay.
Okay.
>> [music] [music] >> So yeah.
>> [singing] [music] >> Okay, now we just loaded in, see how close we got it to a comfortable curve.
Your albums are tough, man. Shoo.
Look at that.
So we went from the orange to the >> [sighs and gasps] >> the blue. [clears throat] Mhm, I think it's too much.
So let's do something else.
We just have to change our approach in the way we uh boosting the top end.
>> [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] >> Specifically on my phone.
Okay, so yellow is where we want to be.
Blue, no thank you.
Yeah.
So, that's it.
4K. I wonder if I can bring up more 2.4K.
I don't know.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> We will >> [music] [music] [music and singing] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music] >> Next test.
This thing, bro.
I want that.
I'm going to buy them.
Manly massive passive.
And get those smooth BBs.
Okay, now we're talking, I think.
Yeah, see?
That's mastering, bro. just getting everyone closer together.
>> [clears throat] [music] [music] [music] >> Is that a good damn or a bad damn?
>> [sighs and gasps] >> It's $10 a plug-in, bro.
And the selection is like nice, man.
You can buy the Distressor.
The UAD Sound City, the SSL.
I don't know. Interested in that.
Maybe the Studer. There's the Manley.
You can buy the Fairchild.
Baltic.
I still have two more slots I can fill.
Capital Mastering Compressor.
Maybe the UAD 1176 is nice.
Another tape if you want it.
Look at that. All of that for 99. That's all right.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music and singing] [music] [music] [music and singing] [music] >> Yeah, I like up-tempo songs. They just fit.
They fit the curve quick. See where shoo.
We just got to take care of this top end.
>> [sighs] >> I don't need all this run up.
This is also another eye mystery thing.
Just go buy it.
It's $100 for 10 pretty good looking and probably good sounding plugins, too.
I haven't myself um been a a strong UAD user.
But it's UAD, man.
You guaranteed some good stuff.
Events, please, would you snap?
Oh, you don't snap if you up there.
Oh, I guess not.
I'm going to take my own advice and buy that.
Those hundreds definitely got to be >> [music] [singing] [music] [music and singing] [sighs and snorts] [clears throat] >> Excuse me.
>> [music] [music] [music and singing] [music] [music] [music] [singing] >> And I will dwell in the house [music] of the Lord. Yeah.
All [singing] my days.
We sing amen.
>> [music] >> Amen. Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
Surely [music] goodness Yeah.
>> [music] >> All my days.
All my life.
We sing amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Surely goodness and mercy.
>> [music] >> All my days.
All my life and I will dwell in the [singing] house of the Lord. Yeah.
All my days. [music and singing] We sing amen.
>> [music] >> Amen. Amen.
Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Surely goodness and mercy.
Watch your name.
>> [music] >> Is worthy. Worthy. Worthy. Worthy.
Surely goodness and mercy.
>> [music] >> All my days.
All my life.
We sing amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
>> [clears throat] [music] [music] [music] >> There we are.
Very close in curve.
We do need a bit more 2.5k and less of that craziness up top.
>> [music] [singing] [music] >> See how smooth it sounds now that I rounded the top end a bit.
>> [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] >> What time is it out there by you guys?
Which countries are we in right now?
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
Change the whole dynamic if they did if they said amen.
Amen.
Ah men.
Ah.
Ah men just sounds better.
Cuz there's a series with Kim Kardashian in it.
And she's playing like a very serious character.
I just think that was a bit strange.
>> [clears throat] >> Nice see.
Nice smooth tops. Beauty all over.
All my [music and singing] days. All the days of my life.
We sing [music] amen. Amen.
Amen. Amen. Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
Surely goodness and mercy Surely goodness and mercy shall follow >> [music] >> all my days. All my days. All my [music] life. All my life.
We sing amen.
Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
>> [music] >> Amen. Keep calling on the Lord. Amen.
Surely goodness [music] and mercy Surely goodness and mercy all my days. All [music] my days.
All my All my life. life.
>> [music] >> And I will dwell in the house of the Lord. And I will dwell >> [music] >> Yeah, I think my hearing stops at about 16 17k.
I think if you boost really high then maybe I'll hear it.
But there's a lot of stuff happening.
That's why they say they call it adding air and stuff like that because you just you're adding frequencies inaudible stuff, but it's adding nice things to your mix.
Okay, beautiful. All the up-tempo songs are done.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Yeah, I have darker >> [music] >> It's darker or warmer.
Yeah, and mastering mastering is very zoomed out.
That's how I would call it.
Mixing is zoomed in.
You know.
>> [music and singing] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [singing] >> We have to do that.
And bring that in a lot.
What's cool about these cycle markers?
They're like locators for each song, you know.
>> [music] >> Oh, man. My butt. I need to stand.
>> [music] >> What's your name?
Lord Jesus.
For all >> [music] >> all eternity love.
To all eternity love.
>> [music] >> Your [music] will is so true and kind.
My answer will be >> [music] >> Establish your throne in my heart.
My answer will >> [music] >> Would you restore us, oh God?
Renew Transform us >> [music] >> and change us to conform to your will and to your way.
My answer will >> [music] >> Renew Change us and transform us.
What I am >> [music] [music and singing] >> What I am >> [music] [singing] >> Only [music] be someone I want to >> [singing] [music] >> Is there a >> [singing] >> discern >> [music] >> What I am What I am >> [music] [singing] >> What I am >> [music] [singing] [music] [music] >> Just [music] mix.
Mhm. That guy is a legend.
>> [music and singing] [music] [music] [singing] [music] [music and singing] [music] >> I haven't done I haven't done >> [music] [music] >> This one's already marked.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Lord >> We call you and Udumo.
>> [music] >> So there it is.
You have now witnessed how it is how I do it anyway. It's tonal and then loudness. But because it's an album I'm using the same loudness for all of the songs.
Um and so with the cycle markers I can tell Cubase export all of these songs.
And I can type the word master here.
And tell Cubase exactly how I want to name it for me. So it's going to come out like that.
With the word master and it's a wave.
>> [sighs] >> And they upload it DSPs and boom.
Is anyone else in South Africa not sleeping like me?
>> [music] [music] [singing] >> We call you Jesus.
>> [music] >> How big you are.
How great you are.
All of my days. [music and singing] We sing amen.
Amen. Amen. Amen.
>> [music] >> So the one who rules on high.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Let's analyze the Uduma.
>> [music] >> The screen needs to end.
>> [music] [music] >> The screen needs to end.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Very nice, actually.
You see, mastering must just be like that. Like just whoop.
Just Just take the mix from here to here.
You know, if they if the mastering goes from here to like here, you know, clients are not happy. They like hear something completely different. They like, "What? The mastering changed everything."
So, yeah.
This True Balance really changed the game for me cuz it really allowed me to see my mixes, you know.
Mhm, look at that beautiful curve.
Delicious, man.
>> [cheering] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> And this is a little bit of the same pattern.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> JB, are you here?
Sound grace fields.
Oh, man. Thank you, man.
The encouragement and the company is so much appreciated right now.
You have no idea.
Check this out. See the curve, nice.
Where is Udomaru? I really like Udomaru.
Yeah.
The curve on Udomaru is tasty.
I just need make some boosts here.
And then it's going to fit.
>> [clears throat] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> I did it.
Call you here.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music and singing] [music] [singing] >> Check we call.
>> [sighs and gasps] [clears throat] >> I don't watch 10 to 2.
I don't know. I like daytime.
Circadian rhythm.
Is is my question is night is night owl real? Like they say people are night owls. Is that real?
Oh, yeah. Look at that.
So, we do more and we call together.
Look at them.
Being pretty on the curves.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> My goodness, good.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> It's okay. It's okay. It's fine. It's okay. It's okay.
Okay.
>> [music] >> It's okay. It's okay.
>> [music] >> It's okay.
Okay.
>> [music] [music] >> Okay, we're done.
Should I finish the song?
>> [music] [music] >> Just this one.
>> [music] >> Tony's going to have a go with this.
>> [music and singing] >> Song, it's like it stays mellow. It doesn't have like a What do you call it? A big massive climax.
Which I like. You know, some songs you want them to just be chilled.
Now, look at this.
Look at the curve of something chilled versus something with full energy.
See?
It goes very calm in the high mids, but then there is the sparkle.
Up tempo, it's like, "No, no, we want all the high mid energy."
It's interesting. Very cool.
To be more and [music and singing] more like you.
It's my desire.
I want to love like you, talk like you.
>> [music] >> Oh, oh.
Savior. [music and singing] Defender.
Redeemer.
>> [music] >> Oh, I'm calling on you. [music] You alone.
We're calling on you.
Strong [music] and mighty tower.
Which we can run and be saved by.
>> [music] >> You alone.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [singing] >> Thank you, Jesus, indeed.
Thank you for your music. Thank you for the people.
Thank you for all the Twitchers.
I see JB's name and sound grace, but they're not saying anything.
Maybe they're not here. Maybe they were here.
Not odd. Have you gone to sleep yet?
Domino.
What's the time by you, Domino?
>> [music] [singing] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> I don't know if I if you guys want to this would be a pretty terrible boring evening.
>> [music] >> Okay, so now I'm happy with the album sound. So, I'm just going to double-check locations and starts and endings.
This one's good.
We can bring it in a lot closer.
And then have the snap to event.
Okay, next song.
Gena's good. Olodumare.
>> [clears throat] >> I want to maybe bring this one a bit closer, I think.
See how that works.
I love the dynamic change [music] here.
>> [singing] >> That's good. Next song.
Yeah, that's fine.
So, this is Eternity.
I really want to take that out here.
>> [music] >> The thing is I know my client They'll probably They don't really like the talking.
Why four tracks? What do you mean?
Eternity.
Can you clarify?
It's Are you talking about these files?
1 2 3?
It's actually three.
So, it's the track and it's split into lanes.
Then I've got the instrumental and the backtrack over there.
So that when I'm done bouncing the main masters, I can bounce the back tracks and the instrumental through the mastering chain as well.
>> [music] >> Instrumental.
Backtrack.
>> [music] [music] >> Full song.
If that's what you were asking.
Also good start, good ending.
Also good start, good ending.
Good start and correct ending. Whoop.
I don't know if you were here in the beginning, but that's what I was doing.
I brought in the three versions of each each song.
The main mix, the the main mix, the instrumental and the backtrack.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> Okay.
I think we did good.
So, control S and then what I do now is export.
And I use my cycle markers and I write master and I include the specs I always [clears throat] bounce that.
I will also bounce a 48K version as well.
But, it's going to show up like so. No channel channel name.
Cycle marker name, that's what I need.
So, song title then the master.
Right?
You know, so what I can do also is put it in the correct folder.
Make a new folder and say masters.
Uh yeah, here we go.
So, when I press export now, it's going to tell me what it's doing.
So, it's doing job one of eight.
>> [clears throat] >> So, that's what I will I will end up with that at the end of the day.
This is what I will send to my client.
It'll be main master, video sync master, potential radio edits, back tracks, instrumentals, MP3 versions of everything. Oops, I forgot about that. And then the stems for performance thing performances and stuff like that.
And yeah, in there is the files we are busy bouncing. See it's That's the first song.
That's the song that's already out, Strong and Mighty.
And then there.
It's It's rough out here. It's tough out here.
Life is serious.
>> [clears throat] >> So, I'm going to end it cuz I don't know if you guys want to watch bouncing.
But that was good. I think I'm happy [clears throat] enough with what we've done.
Send it off tomorrow and try to get some sleep.
All right. Thanks, Domino not art.
Uh not art, what's your name again?
Are you been on Twitch since 2023.
Who do you guys watch on Twitch?
All right.
Good night, gentlemen.
It's been good.
Neil, right. Okay, I remember.
>> [clears throat] >> Okay, peace out. Have a good night, gents.
Thanks for the company.
