In the music industry, artists who own their catalogs have greater creative control and financial leverage compared to those whose work is owned by record labels, as label-owned artists cannot independently monetize their music or make decisions about distribution without label permission.

"Ice Man" | Who Got Lyrics? (Podcast) - Episode 24Añadido:
all about that ice.
>> Y'all already know Ice Man. Uh I listen, I'm going tell you something. I feel some type of way cuz I don't think that Drake had any No, did he. But I don't think he had any growth on this on his album. I think it's the same >> the baby groove.
>> It's the It's the same.
>> It is. It's his same formula. Pretty much didn't change. The only thing he did different, and a lot of this was, which I'm surprised the label agreed on, was drop the three albums at one time because he had three left on the deal.
>> I don't I don't think that the label agreed with it because of his contract.
>> Yeah.
>> Like he he didn't >> they had to agree to it because their their stamping is on it. Like they >> It's I'm pretty sure they would have rather had it spaced out and got three more albums. They got three more albums out of them over time.
>> Sure.
>> It's like when you pay your car off early. They don't like it because they lose that interest.
>> Yeah, they don't like that.
>> Um, but they did lose out on that. But I think that with with the lawsuit and all the stuff going on that they were just like, you know what, >> get him out of here.
>> Let's just get him out of here. You know, we already got five.
>> This is the problem, creatives. This is the problem, creatives. when you are renting your talent out right to these labels that can't do they can't put out an album they can't make a a Iceman or a Thriller or a reasonable doubt right you can >> but you're renting that out you're selling your IP for a rental free a rental fee >> right like renting space you're renting time you're renting out it's like >> it's it's almost the same thing for the people that's like listening to music on iTunes and Apple Music. Y'all written this music and if these people decide, >> you know what?
>> Let's just pull the plug on the whole thing.
>> All the money you have paid is gone and you have nothing to show for it. You can't go listen to the music that you have been paying for no more. Like you're being It's a sucker deal.
>> Yeah. Not unless you download it to your hard device, which most people do not do anymore because there's no >> But some of it you can't. SOME OF IT IS JUST for streaming.
>> Yeah. Some of it they don't allow you.
Some of you're paying for the streaming service on Spotify. You're not downloading music off of Spotify.
>> If you purchase the album, are you then able to download? I don't know.
>> I I listen, I'm not in that I'm not I don't think so.
>> I don't think so because there's no more ownership. Like when you bought a CD, right, and you read the credits on the back of it, like you you can now play this music whenever you feel like it.
You have a collection of it. You own it.
>> Yeah.
>> You own a piece of it.
>> Right. Right.
>> Right. You don't own the rights to it, but you can pop that CD in at a party and let it play. You can pop that tape into the party and let it play without having to pay for uh any IP. You now you can't do that.
>> No, you can't you can't turn on your Facebook live and play music in the background.
>> No, you get you get clip you get >> right uh checks. You get like the copyright marks, >> right? Um, some artists will allow you to do it. Like it'll say, uh, here's the copyright notice, but this song, this artist allows it to be played on YouTube, blah, blah, blah. But then you got the good portions that'll come up and be like, this one doesn't, so you get the mark, you got to take it down.
Or other ones that um, >> I don't know about that, but >> there's other ones that say that you can't play in this area, like certain regions, certain countries don't allow certain songs.
>> They don't have the licensing, >> right? They don't they don't have the licensing to be able to do so on certain um social media platforms. But the point I'm making is >> do it yourself.
Rag >> did it himself. I did it myself. I have no problems with these record labels because I not tied to them. I can do what I want with my music when I want my entire catalog. And some people say, "Oh, I'd rather have half a loaf than no loaf." Right? And my music may not be worth nothing to nobody. But when I'm able to leverage the accumulation of the catalog, once I distribute it and and place it on DSPs, it'll be worth more to me.
Where artists that whose cataloges are owned by the labels can't do that. those artists who are streaming on streaming platforms, the labels is given permission for that, not the artists.
>> Yeah.
>> Right. So, this is why and and all the underground artists, you are nothing but foot soldiers to these streaming platforms because you're the ones that's going to go out here and tell people go listen to my music available on all platforms. Bigger artists don't have to do that because you're doing it, >> right?
>> They don't have to pay for promotion.
You're promoting. You know, recently I just I had that situation where uh so like I I was able to I purchased my catalog back and I had to reload it under strictly just Mindscape Entertainment after getting it back from Atlantic UMG, whatever.
>> Um and I had to start over completely start over uh the views, the listens, the >> everything. But now I have full control over it. Um cuz there was a point where if I was going to play my music on TikTok and post a video, I would get a copyright strike even though it was my own [ __ ] music and they would tell me I can't use it. And then I would have to go and try to figure out a way to like to get permission to use my own [ __ ] on my own videos. That's why early on a lot of my Tik Tok and YouTube clip uh clips didn't have snippets of my own songs on it back in like 09 2010 because they were telling me I couldn't use it. It was more of a hassle to try to get it than it was to just use it. But in case you're wondering why you can hear Montana's voice but you don't see him is he's getting his Vladana on today. He's uh behind the camera.
>> So, he's the voice behind the camera. Anyway, so the Knicks >> swept the Sixers and the Cavs to make it to the NBA Finals. It's the first time since 1999 that the Knicks are in the NBA Finals. And Knicks fans have been pissing me off a little bit. Uh because normally I would not mind rooting for the Knicks, but all the [ __ ] they were talking about the Sixers going into it, I was hoping the Cavs would have won, but that didn't work out. So now the NBA finals are who advanced, the the uh the Thunder or the Spurs. Spurs won last night. So the NBA finals is the Spurs and the Knicks. So now I'm rooting for Spurs. I want Victor Wimanyama to get that [ __ ] and swat the hell out of little Jaylen Brunson's ball all [ __ ] week long.
>> But I don't know what's going to happen.
They just better not get swept because I don't want to see no more orange and blue brooms out here.
You know, I wonder if the Knicks fans are going to fill up the arena and like take over like they have in Philly. in Cleveland, they were taking over. The only thing is that the Cleveland owner had the balls to say, "We are not selling any New York residents or New York fans front row and floor seats where the Sixers didn't have the balls to do it. They just wanted the money grab, >> but the Sixers would have sold. They didn't have to sell front row seats to all Knicks fans. The [ __ ] front row of our last playoff game was more than 50% orange and blue up in the front row on the floor.
>> When Brunson would hit his shot, the whole stadium, it sounded like the whole stadium was erupting.
>> That was getting on my nerves a little bit. Was not a fan of that.
>> Some new uh >> What?
>> How many games you think it's going to go?
You think it's going to sweep? You think it's going to be >> four games, five games, six, seven, >> think it's going to be a five game series.
>> And you think the Knicks are going to win it in five? You think the Spurs are going to win it in five?
>> I agree.
>> I agree.
>> I don't think that the uh >> I don't know. I don't know if I think I just don't want to see the Knicks win.
Like I said, I'm getting tired of them orange and blue fans talking all that [ __ ] after they swept us and it hasn't stopped yet.
>> Hold on. Who's your team? The Knicks. I know the finals versus the Spurs.
>> Who Who was your team that they swept though?
>> Oh, the Sixers.
>> And they swept the Cavs, too. But Harden did show up.
>> Oh my god. The Knicks swept the Sixers.
>> Yep. And then they talking [ __ ] All the fans talking that [ __ ] >> Well, they get to now cuz it's been a long time.
>> It's been 99. The last time they were in the finals.
>> It's been a long time since the Knicks did anything.
>> They haven't won since the 70s. Yeah.
Damn. But they they they were in the finals in 99, but they lost.
>> Mhm.
I mean, what do you think is going to happen?
>> I think it's going to be five or six G.
I think it's six games, but I'm hoping the Spurs win.
>> Spurs in six.
>> I think the Spurs in six.
I hope the Spurs in six.
>> I don't want to see no more [ __ ] orange and blue brooms, man.
>> Yeah. No, I mean, even Pat Fus has been going crazy on social media.
>> They all have. Joe Button with >> Everybody's going crazy.
>> Oh my god.
>> Dr. Mark Lamont Hill, they were getting him the other day on the Budden podcast, man. They were just, oh my god, it's like he was getting front. He's like, "Come on, man. I get it. They lost. Give me, you know, relax. I want to root for the Knicks, but you're making it hard.
Your fans are making it hard for me to root for you guys.
You guys are vicious." Anyway, so Aiden Ross, right? I told him about Vlatana.
>> This is not Vlatana. I don't even want to be associated with this guy. Like, as far as I'm concerned, he worked for the feds. Like, I don't I don't know.
>> You think he's a culture vulture?
>> I think he's a culture vulture. I think he's a piece of [ __ ] I don't really I don't Please do not collaborate my name with his >> at all.
>> I don't mind. I don't mind.
>> I I do. I think I think he needs to >> as a person.
>> Hey, what's going on, man?
>> Hey, man.
>> All right.
>> His personality is a little shaky.
>> Yes.
>> Uh but but his content is good. He gets the interviews. I'll give him that.
Yeah, but without those interviews, who are who is it?
>> Well, you know, that's >> that's my point.
>> He relies on that. That's my point. But that's his format.
>> Yeah. And it's and it's whack if you ask me.
>> That's his format. I always was like I wish he was on camera. Like I don't I don't I just wish he would go somewhere and and like stop trying to [ __ ] now. That's the thing.
>> Like I think he like just a energy vampire. Not even a culture.
>> Yeah. I think he's an energy vampire.
>> So, wait, you remember the celebrity boxing events? You remember like them?
>> Yeah.
>> Like they still do them obviously. Well, the biggest highest level is the Jake Paul that started out black league.
>> But, uh, >> if we ever did a celebrity boxing band, >> you know, they tried to get me to do one a couple quite a few years back. They tried to get me to box this guy, Nev.
Nev Nev.
>> How did that sound?
>> Ne. Uh, he he was a host of that Catfish TV show. Okay.
>> Uh for MTV and they uh they wanted me to box him and it just I don't know at that point in my life I was like I don't know that this is what I want to be seen doing that >> well it's kind of a graveyard.
>> Yeah. And I was like at that point it was now like higherend celebrities are doing it and like now they're doing it.
At that point it was the end of the road >> and I was like and the last thing I want to do is get out of shape and get knocked the [ __ ] out by >> you seen what just happened to Ray J.
>> Catfish host >> [ __ ] Ray J.
>> This is where I was going. Okay.
>> Did you So, they had some good fights on that card like the the Lance Stevenson and >> I don't know who these people are.
>> Like he end up [ __ ] choking him out.
Had had uh had Michael Beasley tap out.
>> Who the [ __ ] is Michael Beasley?
>> Two NBA players.
>> Okay.
>> And that was a pretty decent fight. And then they had uh what's that former quarterback's name? The crazy one that got all the all the drugs and [ __ ] Used to be on Cleveland.
>> Oh no.
>> Anyway, they had him lined up to fight the voice Bob Meny. He's like that voice personality. Did the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial. Okay.
>> Does all the crazy voiceovers >> so they had him he got him to [ __ ] tap out too. Um but Ray J >> got knocked the [ __ ] out.
>> Got knocked the [ __ ] out.
>> He was he was out and sleep in the air for like five seconds before falling.
>> Like he and he just finally he looked like he wanted to fight still and he just >> bam just >> went down. It was like >> fell over >> after the knot was growing as he was waving around >> on on [ __ ] growing as he was like a bad look >> bro have several [ __ ] >> why is he doing that man I he's got money right I I I know his music he's not like the most revered artist but he's like royalty in music due to his sister but think about what royalty is the royal family I'm not saying his music catalog >> no part of a royal family like you don't No, no, >> you don't classify Brandy.
>> I don't classify Brandy as being hello as part of a a royal music family. I think she had some bangers.
>> Absolutely.
>> But royalty to me is >> the Jackson family is royalty.
>> Jackson even Latoya though she had one song and put out projects, >> her music doesn't matter. She's part of a royal family in music. Um, Patty Leel.
[ __ ] >> who else in her family was a singer.
Patty Leel.
>> It don't matter.
>> I just was there. I don't know.
>> No. No. I don't know. I don't think so.
>> Cuz you know, like Whitney Houston comes from um Oh, Jesus. Her aunt. Draw the blank.
>> Me, too.
>> Big singer, though.
>> Yeah, I'm drawing the blank.
>> Legend.
>> Yeah, I'm drawing blank.
>> But yeah, that's her niece, Whitney Houston. So, even she comes from a line of >> family, you know.
>> Yeah.
>> But I think like um >> but there's many that consider Brandy top tier. No, no. I mean, she's a top tier singer. She gave us some classic joints, but I guarantee you right now, you can sing a Brandy lyric.
>> The boy is mine. Yeah, I know.
>> That's her in the other chick, though.
>> Have you ever Have you ever was That was one of them sleeper tracks. That wasn't even a main track off of her second album.
>> See, but you know what? I challenged the wrong person. I challenged the wrong person. You You're a writer >> with R&B. I I like, you know, >> I might have challenged the wrong person.
>> No, no, no. Because you're you're right.
I It doesn't go much past that.
>> Yeah.
>> Um I just remember have you ever because Vocally was one of my favorite songs uh from a female at that like the late 90s >> and it just because and it wasn't even like a single. It wasn't nothing like that. It was on the album.
>> One of my favorite vocal performances from her. Uh but anyway, but yeah. No, other than that, that's pretty much >> as far as So, so as far as royalty, I don't think so. and her brother is like >> no no he's one wish he's got WISH SHUT THE [ __ ] up >> totally >> I was never a fan to be honest with you >> he's always been a [ __ ] >> a crazy person like >> I'm not say crazy person I'm just like you you did it you did your big one that's it >> you did your big one and uh go ahead about your dad >> yeah yeah yeah he's had more I think success with the the other [ __ ] that he does >> like making the porn >> podcast the porn was his highlight >> that was The biggest thing you did?
>> Yeah.
>> No pun.
>> No diddy. I don't know. I don't know where Rag was going with that.
>> You said the big, you know, the big one.
Yeah. I was thinking of the finale. The >> And the Kardashian I was his biggest scene, biggest shot, biggest >> that was the mom set that up.
>> Yeah. That lawsuit that they are back in now because now he refuses to stop talking about her. Like they tried to silence him again to try to stick to the story.
>> No. No.
>> And he was like, "You know what? At this point, [ __ ] it. Uh, no. Because you're not gonna keep [ __ ] with me. I got a family now." Like, >> right.
>> No. No. No. You orchestrated this whole [ __ ] I was just a player in the game on the board.
>> And it made your daughter famous.
>> Made your daughter famous. It didn't benefit me any like his career never really changed any more or less from it.
>> No.
>> He basically stayed at the same status.
They blew up.
>> And it's just like, yay. Why would you want that? Yay.
>> Yeah. Knowing that it was nutted on camera. Like why would she took a facial on camera and now you're all kissing on her?
>> OH MY GOD. YOU GOT TO BE CRAZY.
>> YEAH. Like it's different in private, but the whole world's seen it.
>> Yeah.
>> All say like there there's women that get the uh nut mug um >> or whatever, but you don't know.
>> When you don't know and you haven't seen it.
>> Yeah, I was going to say not knowing is one thing cuz you assume, >> right? But >> I assume that they are.
>> And you can revisit it.
>> But you know for a fact like there's not a chick that haven't had they lips on the pipe. You know what I'm saying? That haven't like and and and you still it's it's hard for me these days to kiss a woman in the face.
>> It's hard.
Like I love them. I'm going to always love them. I'm never going to switch teams. But I we know what y'all do now.
>> LEAVE THAT ONE.
LEAVE ONE ALONE.
>> CUZ I WAS THINKING A FACIAL AND THAT'S EVEN worse cuz then it gets all embezzled and stuck in THE BEARD LIKE >> OKAY. HEY. WHOA.
>> YEAH. IT'S TOO MUCH FRICTION. Going to start a forest fire. We going to stay away from that team. No offense. I love all of y'all.
>> Yeah. We're not. No. No. No. We don't.
>> Just keep the pipe over there.
>> We're not sword fighting uh working at the meat for factory.
>> We will not be fencing, my good.
>> No.
>> Leave that alone.
>> No, we're gonna leave that all the way alone. But you know, women are going to do what women do and they're going to have it dripping off of their lips or whatever. Whatever.
>> You just don't want to be able to see it and revisit it.
>> If it's not mine, >> unless it's your own tape, then it's fine, you know.
>> So, a friend of mine the other night was telling me when I had I had let her watch um a tape of mine.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> And right before we was about to get it in, >> I let her watch me uh >> give you the preview.
>> Yeah. This is what's about to happen.
>> Yeah. Here's a snippet. I just gave I JUST LET HER WATCH THE commercial of what's about to happen.
>> It's like an infomercial on QBC.
>> Yeah. Like >> this is what you're about to buy.
>> This is what you're purchasing right now. Dead ass. And you know, and then after she watched it and then uh you know, a few nights ago, she was telling me like, I didn't like that. I didn't like that you showed me that. I'm like, why? You watch porn, don't you? Like, yeah. I like what's the difference to you watching me slap cheeks than you watching a total stranger slap cheeks.
She just didn't want to see you with somebody else. Is that >> I'm saying is that what she was getting at?
>> That's what she was getting at. But it don't make sense to me.
>> No, that's pretty much what's the difference at that point.
>> As far as especially being a woman like what does it matter? You know it has happened.
>> Right.
>> Right. And I know like I've seen her on social media and you out with fellas that you dated. You think I'm thinking he must just dropped her off at home and then slap cheeks.
>> No. Now, to be fair, I don't know that I'd want to see my girl get wiped down by somebody else.
>> Um, necessarily, >> but you know, >> but you know what happened, >> especially if people already came out of her, >> right?
>> Somebody definitely made a deposit there.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. I just don't know that I'd want to watch it, especially like right before we're about to [ __ ] >> I don't know. I can't say.
>> But you watch for >> I do watch Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Right. You you and because you're not you're not going to be with that woman that's on that tape. It don't matter.
>> Taking a 10 incher to the face, right? You're not You're not going to be with her after she finished doing that. So, you can watch that.
>> Watch that.
>> I get it. It's uh hyperbole. It's just, you know, there's really no sense behind it. It's just a [ __ ] I don't know.
>> I might I might have stopped watching porn three years ago.
>> Recently, I've been watching our own [ __ ] Like, >> I'd rather watch me.
>> Yeah. Yeah. watching our own [ __ ] If I need to, >> if I if I need to, I'll watch my own highlight reels. I don't I'm not watching somebody else.
>> That's why you got to keep them in the tub. It's called the spank bank.
>> The spank bank.
>> The spank bank. Making a deposit.
>> Speaking of spank bank, Kevin Hartman.
What? THAT WAS THAT WAS A HELL of a transition.
>> It's a transition only because he's been on this [ __ ] total jack all [ __ ] apology tour.
>> Oh, because that's why I transition. the roast >> because of the roast like he's now defending the having to go and defend it. Why? It's >> got to defend it. It was wrong.
>> Yeah. Like he's like uh to defending the roast defending Tony Hinchcliffe or killed Tony for the jokes about George Floyd.
>> But um >> why is that a joke?
>> I you know I think it might be too soon, right?
>> I don't No, I I don't think it ever should be >> No, I just like uh >> it's it's always going to be too soon.
>> Yeah, >> it'll be too soon forever. I don't think that should be something that should be brought up in comedy.
>> Just like they were talking about that that uh what do you call it?
>> Or Michael Kirk. What's the guy's name?
>> Yeah, Charlie.
>> Charlie Kirk, right?
>> They should leave it alone.
>> Leave it alone. Like that make them people have families and people that are still grieving them. Like why would you bring this up? Why would you try to make this a part of your comedy? Like no.
Yeah, it's a no.
>> Yeah. There's certain things that you know >> there's certain things that's not meant to be entertainment.
>> Well, yeah. He was on there trying to say like, you know, I it was distasteful.
>> I'm gonna say this. [ __ ] you, Kevin Hart.
>> Yeah.
>> [ __ ] you. I didn't like it. But what am I supposed to do? Stand up in the middle of this live event and be like, I I don't like it. Like I you know what was I supposed your live event?
>> [ __ ] your thinking on this hair situation. And if it even if it was from the opposite angle in in reverse, it's a no for me, right? Like >> I think both I think both should have been left alone. I don't I would never go on anything and and and and even make fun of what happened to Charlie Kirk.
So, what's her name? Drewi didn't make fun of Charlie Kirk. He made fun of Charlie Kirk's wife.
>> Yeah. With that white face thing that he did, right?
>> Came down on the zip.
>> Right. He's not making fun of somebody being [ __ ] brutally killed. He's making fun of the response that his wife had because it was very [ __ ] unnatural.
Like, that's some unnatural [ __ ] You you should be grieving. You should be [ __ ] up. You should you know what I'm saying? Like those things should have occurred. But you're trying to take over a company and making odd [ __ ] gestures and [ __ ] like it's weird.
>> Yeah. That crying thing she does is it's very odd. Okay.
>> You know what I'm saying? So let's call a spade a [ __ ] spade. That like >> that's that was something different. And everybody's up in [ __ ] what's the guy name? Rupaul. Jake Paul with his funny face looking mouth.
>> Oh, when he was going to do the black black face like >> that. There's no history behind uh there's no uh racial history behind dressing up as a white person.
>> There's no tension.
>> I don't see I don't see the tension.
>> There is no >> to me. It would just be >> But when something was used in an oppressive, >> there's a long history of it.
>> There's a history behind it of degregation and oppression. It's a no.
And you a [ __ ] sucker.
>> Yeah. Now, they were saying uh like I don't think Jake was ever going to do that.
>> I seen some AI [ __ ] >> Yeah, they did do it to him.
>> They did it to me, but he didn't do it.
>> But for you to even [ __ ] make a suggestion or think >> but them joking about that [ __ ] suffering, man.
>> Certain things you got. Now, Robert Downey got away with it.
>> Robert Down is FUNNY AS [ __ ] >> BUT IT WASN'T NO NO. It wasn't done distasteful.
>> Exactly. It wasn't done in that way.
>> That was [ __ ] comedy. They didn't do the big pink white lips that [ __ ] comedy at his [ __ ] best. Like I don't care what nobody say. I would never take that from him. Hello.
>> No, no, no. I I don't like they get up in arms about that, but not many people do.
>> Who? Just you know the >> have several seats and sit in the [ __ ] back.
>> Typical people that just like to be because >> that [ __ ] Robert >> No, that [ __ ] was funny as [ __ ] And it was done the right way.
>> He wasn't nobody. now.
Yeah. Like I I didn't mind that at all.
>> No, that one I didn't see a problem.
>> I'm just playing to do.
>> I mean, I know I'm not the person that can say whether there's a problem with it OR NOT.
>> WELL, YOU ARE, >> BUT I DIDN'T SAY >> NO, NO, NO. STOP. STOP. SO, you you think because you white >> Well, because I'm white. I >> You cannot have a say in something that is wrong.
>> Oh, no. I can say what's wrong, >> but to say that people can't be offended by it is what I'm saying. I I can't be the person to say whether you should be offended by it or not. Who am I to say you're offended?
>> If you if I was offended by it, I could be like, I was I didn't like that. I go, >> if if you're offended by it, even though it's not something that should be offensive to your race, but you're offended by it, you definitely have the right to voice whether or not people should be offended by it. Absolutely.
You know what I'm saying?
>> But I can't say that you should you shouldn't be offended by that.
>> Like I don't I I don't think I could take that position. It depends >> because who am I to say that you should you know >> Well, that depends on >> on the situ on on the scenario like and which one we're talking about playing out.
>> Yeah, that depends.
>> Um, >> right. And it's and it's just but if you stand for something that's right, if you stand for something that's righteous, you know what I'm saying? Like if it's like if it's something that's harmful to [ __ ] people regardless of nationality >> and you stand on the side of righteousness, you absolutely can.
>> Yeah.
>> You absolutely can >> because you as for a decent humanity, you should be able to as far to say like even if a [ __ ] kick a dog, >> you know what I'm saying? You can be like, "Yo, why the [ __ ] is you kicking a goddamn dog?"
>> Yeah. Because you know that >> that's [ __ ] wrong.
>> That's wrong, >> right? I'm not a [ __ ] dog. I shouldn't have the right to say you should kick a dog.
>> You know what I'm saying?
>> How you feel about that?
>> Does that offend you to have a man just kick the [ __ ] out of you?
>> YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING? LIKE NO. You have the right to stand up for those that can't stand up for themselves.
>> Oh, absolutely. Like children. Like >> Yes. If if I see something inappropriate with some [ __ ] children, even if they not mine. As a matter of fact, I was living with this broad and she had this guy uh her her girlfriend's daughter was living in her garage and her girlfriend's daughter is like [ __ ] 18, but she got this 38 year old man living with her and and I'm staying there, too. And I already don't [ __ ] like it. But when the [ __ ] walked through the [ __ ] house in his drawers and her daughter is there, I knew it was going to be something sexualized.
>> Yeah. He walked through the house in his drawers with no shirt on >> and he did it probably intentionally.
>> And I I I was about to beat the Get the [ __ ] out right now, dog. Not why I'm here. These ain't my kids.
>> But that's not cool.
>> These are not my children. This is another man's children. You're already [ __ ] somebody's [ __ ] 18-year-old daughter in his goddamn garage. You got to get the [ __ ] out, dog.
>> Only only because now when the women were there by themselves, you do the [ __ ] you want. I'm here now. You got to get the [ __ ] out.
>> And that's for the mom to be like, >> "Yeah, not my kids are here. What the [ __ ] are you doing?"
>> No, it was for me because I'm I'm the man here.
>> He's a male >> and I'm the man.
>> You got to get the [ __ ] out before I [ __ ] ring your neck.
>> Yeah.
>> She wasn't like man enough to realize >> Yeah. That That [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Yeah. Like, no. So, I already like you already a boy to me because >> you walking through here like that.
>> No, we not doing that.
>> Yeah.
>> We're not doing that. Not why I'm here.
>> You can't do that. That's like disrespectful to everybody.
>> Yeah. Like it was disrespectful to me.
>> Like you I'm saying for another man to be in there like >> Yeah. No.
>> Oh, there [ __ ] kids. One, I don't want to see it. And you got kids in here, man. What the [ __ ] are you doing?
>> I don't give a [ __ ] Like I'm I DON'T CARE. IT DOESN'T it doesn't affect me one way or another that you bear chesting your [ __ ] draws. Like you know I played sports and we showered in the same spot and all that [ __ ] Like I don't give a [ __ ] about that. But these [ __ ] kids are not going to be subjected to that.
>> No. Absolutely not.
>> Are not going to be subjected to that.
Not why I'm here.
>> No. No. I agree with that. That's that that's crazy.
>> Yeah.
>> And like you know it's it's her house.
>> Yeah. Now Yeah. Now she's got to patrol that when you're not there.
>> No. When I'm not here, you're not going to be here. Well, >> after after what I'm seeing right now, you can't stay here no more.
>> Obviously can't be here without superficial >> like [ __ ] >> You can't be here no more. Pack it right now that the mom should have been on.
>> Like I don't know what was happening before I showed up.
>> But now that I'm here, you can't be here no more.
>> Now if he was comfortable doing that with you there, you know, it wasn't the first time.
>> I don't I don't >> most likely >> I don't care.
>> Right.
>> But it's just not going to go on my >> Yeah. Nah, this sh ain't gonna fly.
>> It's not happening.
>> We're not doing that.
>> I don't I don't care who you is.
>> Yeah.
>> You know what I'm saying? Like he could have been a [ __ ] 69 300 and something pound >> wyama.
>> Not while I'm here over my [ __ ] dead body.
>> [ __ ] that. This is crazy [ __ ] >> Yeah, you gonna have to kill me to do some [ __ ] like that.
>> Pedo.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm just not having it. I'm not having it.
>> Are you familiar with the Dr. Cheyenne Bryant. Are are you familiar with her?
>> No.
>> She's a psych psychologist who is a practicing doctor of psychology.
>> Okay.
>> Has patients but has blown up on social media doing the social media >> challenges >> interviews and therapy sessions with celebrities and >> I need therapy. Now she's under fire again for supposedly lying about actually being a doctor and finishing her college doctorate.
So she she has yet not she's people have called her out on it and she said oh the school closed it burnt down all kinds of excuses of why she doesn't have her doctorate >> or her dissertation >> or any of the documents saying that she is an actual official doctor >> and she's been like on a defense tour and every time they get her and she's like gets more and more defensive but she can never prove or produce these documents and everybody has been going and saying, "I went to that same school.
Look, here's my documents. I could get mine. Why can't you get yours?" When that place closes, they send them to there's like a facility that facilitates these documents. You still got to be able to get your college degrees and everything.
>> So, >> the transcripts >> Yeah. and the dissertation that you wrote at the end and >> and your diplomas, >> right?
>> So, now there's She's like, "Oh, she's talking [ __ ] to everybody." She was on the Joe Budden podcast. She went on to her and tore got into a little battle with each other. She called him soft.
And >> yeah, that's that's a woman's final defense. Once once a woman soft, you're feminine, you're this. I mean, she did everything but call them the actual name.
>> Yeah. Once once a woman starts losing any argument, that's going to be that final hiding place.
>> Well, now people are saying like, I let her give me sessions and it's like >> they paid for them.
>> They paid for it. Yeah. And she's out there floating around on her yacht and posting pics in her bikini because she looks good. They're giving her pretty girl privilege. Basically, >> that's what it is >> because she never had to produce any documents until recently when somebody called her out on it. And now she >> one of her clients.
>> Yeah, one of the clients. Uh, and now it's made its round on news and everything and she's been trying to do her >> damage control.
>> Damage control. But it's just every time she does it looks worse.
>> Your toast is cooked, lady.
>> It looks worse.
>> Your toast is cooked. She's not helping.
Every time she gets on, it makes it look worse because people are not like people have like I got my documents from that same school. They closed. I was able to call. You get them through this network.
They store every file. You should get it.
>> It's crazy. Okay. Yeah.
>> Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, clean your [ __ ] up, lady.
>> Polish your turd.
>> Let's go, Doc. Um, polish the turd.
Clean that [ __ ] up.
>> It's still a piece of [ __ ] It still looks like [ __ ] but you got to do better damage control. You need to get you a PR team.
>> Still going to look like [ __ ] after you polish your turn.
>> It just looks like a shiny [ __ ] dirt.
>> You shiny [ __ ] >> turns into shiny [ __ ] >> Dr. Shiny [ __ ] >> Dr. Shy [ __ ] >> It ain't [ __ ] >> [ __ ] Stop. Stop the [ __ ] >> Yeah. But when I'm hearing her talk, it just sounds like, "Oh, man. This full of shit."
>> Yeah.
>> She got some weird takes. You know what I mean?
But uh did you see Jim Jones called out Cameron for a versus >> Jim Jones?
>> Now they had did the previous one with Dipet verse the locks. Did not go well for Dipset locks.
>> And it's not going to go well for Jim Jones.
>> I was going to say how do you think that plays out? Cuz Jim got some songs.
>> No. No, he doesn't.
>> He's got a few. Not enough.
>> You're going to name one song right now.
You're going to name one song and we know what song you're going to name.
>> Bowling. But >> yeah, that's it. That's all you're going to name.
>> He's got a couple other ones. Uh the one he did with Diddy was a was a hit at that point.
>> What?
>> I don't remember the name >> exactly.
>> But um he like I said, he's got a few.
So it would be what 17 to three, 16 to four maybe. I just don't see how it plays out in Jim's favor.
>> I don't know why he would even uh suggest >> cuz Cam got [ __ ] hits. He's got songs. He's got a lot of songs in his calendar.
>> Why would you even suggest something of that nature like stop it?
>> Would they be able to do because they got the dip set songs where >> No, you can't use none of the dips.
>> How would that work? Cuz like do they do like Cameron plays his verse and then Jim Jones goes and plays his verse from that song and then you say okay now you decide whose verse was better.
>> But I still don't say how do you do that because it's the song.
>> Neither neither verse is better because Jim Jones is one of the most I mean not Jim Jones Cameron is one of the most Dr. doodly doodly doodling baba.
>> Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> He's not known for strategic word play or uh anything of that. No, it's a no.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't know that I'd want to see >> I don't even want to see Jim Jones and Cameron do a version.
>> I just don't know how that would play out because >> Well, I know how it would play out.
You know, I don't have any doubt that >> song and I would beat Jim Jones in the verses.
>> Yeah. I just don't see I just don't see that verse.
>> I don't have not one popular record.
Nobody is out here like, "Yo, we're that new mind in the black." And I would beat Jim Jones in the versus.
>> Yeah.
>> I just I just don't see it. I just don't see it going. I just don't see it. It's not one that I would be like clamming for.
>> No.
>> Um, so you got 20 the roots picnic this weekend.
>> We had the roots picnic this weekend. so pissed.
>> It was yesterday and today.
>> It was the day, too.
>> Day two. Two-day event. Saturdays and Sundays. I don't think they do Friday. I think it's a Saturday Sunday event.
>> And I I missed it over there.
>> I missed it. But uh the Philadelphia legend was definitely on stage at the Roots Picnic. a Philadelphia legend, the actual uh door opener for Philadelphia, Tone Love was on stage at the Roose Picnic for the first time in 18 years.
>> But he did the first one.
>> No, he never been He never been on a picnic.
>> It's just funny you said 18 years is there's been 18 of them, >> right?
>> That's why I thought you said >> he's never been on one.
>> Never did one yet.
>> Never did one.
>> Oh, wow. Wow. I've only been to a couple.
>> I've been to one.
>> Yeah, I've been to like literally a couple. I haven't been on stage at one thought. I'm talking directly to Black Thought at this point. Um, you know, we we used to have each other's number and and chat it up or whatever, whatever.
But, u your separate way.
>> Yeah. But I I've never been on a stage at a roost picnic. Um, >> you know, they have a podcast section now. We should try to set up where we could do that. They have a podcast.
>> That would be fine. I mean, that's not what I was aiming at, but >> No, no. I mean, but >> I would do that, too.
>> That's a secondary. Like I I need I need a performance on the Roose Py. You know what I'm saying?
>> Oh, I I I'd come out of retirement to do that.
>> Yeah.
>> Just to do one song.
>> Absolutely.
>> Because the stage is um legendary for Philly.
>> Yeah.
>> And it's legendary for national for hip hop in general. People come from all over the country.
>> [ __ ] Jay-Z was there.
>> Jay-Z headlined it yesterday. And then um speaking of that, he brought out Beanie. He brought out Melee was there.
They brought out some Philly guys for the rock, >> you know, for the uh reunion of sorts, >> but he went up there with his but he had to let his fro out, you know, the twists were going.
>> You know, locks don't come out like that, man.
>> Like he got his locks like how did you get your locks removed? You you usually have to cut those off.
>> Yeah, cuz he had them um those uh what was that artist's name?
>> Um I can't think of his name.
>> Oh man. But he had that he had them and they set in for a while.
>> I was like, how did he get them untied >> because he had them in there for a long time and his [ __ ] was just it was loose.
I was like, man, they put a lot of work in to get his hair flowing like this >> and timed. But um and I've never seen him like that before. I've never seen him with his hair that length and loose.
Anytime he's ever had that length of hair, it's always been twisted in some sort of way or fashion.
>> Right. So, it was just different to see him like that. But he went up and he did his thing. He did an a set headline last night. Most important part is he dropped the music. He did like a three minute or so freestyle where he he gave everybody a little bit of work and um >> he he addressed some things.
>> He addressed some things. He you know he addressed Jaguar, right? He addressed Chatty Patty. He came at Dash. Let him know.
>> But Chhatty Patty is who?
>> I think it's either academics or he was talking about Dame. I'm not sure. Well, he did mention Dane. He mentioned Durant. Yeah. Popping out.
>> I don't think that was You got that ready loaded up.
>> Um, but he came at Jaguar, right, for talking crap about him sacrificing the kids and stuff. Uh, he addressed Drake because of his new Iceman D. Uh, >> yeah, that little that little uh shot he took at Jay was whack anyway.
>> Yeah, it was. It was light work. And then so Jay, you know, addressed that.
Jig is up. Shut up.
>> Yeah, >> shut up.
>> Talking about him spending 10,000 to dinner with Jay or or would you take the money?
>> Shut up.
>> Nobody cares. Drake, >> you got ready here. We'll play a little piece of that uh that freestyle so you can check it out and then then we'll tap back in the top of the 40 days. My neck get flooded again.
Wrist get flooded again.
My net worth went up again.
My next update is up.
I'm up 10. You got to look up again.
Look up. I never looked up to them.
Go talk to them. Don't touch me.
in perpetuity how your contract is worthy. Don't make me go to remember even when the trees not too much in my name.
Don't forget who I am.
loves her shorties s at the end. You don't know the show ain't even begin. I said you don't know.
The show ain't even >> Anyway, I I uh I it just take me back to when yesterday uh I guess last episode Bandit was like I think he was pretending. I'm not going to front. He didn't like Jay-Z's bars.
>> Bandit didn't like Jay-Z.
>> Yeah, I think he's a hidden Jay-Z fan.
But you I don't know how you can say straight face that Jay-Z don't have bars or good lyrics.
>> Who said that?
>> Bandit. remember he was like >> he don't got bars. What bars? Kanye's nicer than Jay. And I was like, >> well, Bandit is a little uh off his ne to say that Jay don't have bars, >> right? You could not be a Jay-Z fan.
>> And you still can't say that, >> which is perfectly in your right, but you can't say he's not good. He's not top tier. He doesn't have bars. You could say he doesn't perform live well.
That's a fair assessment.
>> Yeah, I can I and I would probably agree, >> right? Yeah, he might not have the best live performance. I mean, you know, >> but to say he doesn't have songs or bars or lyrics or word play is uh is crazy.
>> You're insane. You're insane to even suggest or or or utter those words like his uh the way Listen.
And >> I mean, I'm not speaking bias. I'm a Jay fan, >> but there's people that I might not be a fan of that I could be like, they got bars. It's just not my >> Let me say Let me say something.
Recently, I I didn't even realize where Eminem plucked his whole style from.
>> Tell elaborate. Tell me tell us more.
>> Like, um, Master Ace.
>> Wait, before you finish, I didn't realize that that new mix in Miami >> came from Master Ace until you [ __ ] played it. I had no idea.
>> That [ __ ] me up. That the beat is almost the same. Not almost.
>> NO, IT'S IT'S 96% IDENTICAL. There's a few little or [ __ ] there and here, but it's got >> identical. So, >> but the fact that they were ahead of their time, think about >> Eminem's old whole entire delivery, cadence, everything about his flow is masterpiece. Yeah.
>> No, I I can hear it now a little bit after we were rocking that song on it.
And the thing is is just like it's crazy how people don't want to give the credit to the originators, right? Like I I people sometimes say Bis Marky might be the father of OB style.
You know what I'm saying? But >> could be, but they had similarities, but I don't think that they were similar enough >> because OB wasn't he didn't have a lot of comedy. His comedy was his gestures and facial >> expressions, but words were still or serious. Bis Mark had >> funny, you know what I'm saying? Like he had comedy in his words.
>> Now, I would say he was more the father to what Ludicrous was doing.
>> Yes. Biz Mark would be more of the father of Ludacris, >> even though their styles were completely different, but that comedy >> Yes.
>> setup. I think that that makes more sense.
>> Yeah, their animation and maybe their mannerisms were similar, >> but that could just be that. That don't have to be anything more than that.
>> That's it. That's all it was. But >> and because they weren't that far off time frame them literally like study mass inks.
>> Have you heard that before like directly like like to know that or is that like an um evaluation >> cuz I I don't know I either I don't know that one way or the other.
>> Either way either way.
>> I wasn't even aware of it till you played the [ __ ] song and I heard the like similarities. I I don't >> Right. And but but Master A's existed years before M before Eminem.
>> No, we're talking early 90s, late 80 late late 80s. Uh >> we can we can accredit >> because I know a lot of people be giving Eminem the uh the best of all times. No, that's that's a no. That's an absolute no.
>> I I I can't do that. I will say he's one of the best of all time. I mean I cannot say no.
>> You can't even give him one of the best of all time. Your whole style is plucked. No, that happens to a lot of people.
>> Not not plugged. Let's say uh influenced.
>> I'm talking about other people.
>> I'm talking about literally like I'm going to take this whole thing and run with it. Like even down to Biggie with that guy Notorious B1.
>> Yeah. I wasn't uh familiar 100% with that till I heard you tell me the story.
>> Yeah. Like when you take somebody's back and looked at it formula and format and run with it, he took his imagery. you are no longer in that conversation of one of the best.
>> But to me, he instead he didn't take his sound and style. He took more of his imagery.
>> He did he took he took the flow too.
>> He did.
>> Yeah.
>> Cuz I definitely see the imagery and likeness similarities >> with that undertaker >> type of like uh like suited with the king, you know.
>> Yeah. But the Frank Master Ace [ __ ] bro. Like cuz I was a huge fan of Master Ace, too. I still got one of his CDs in my car right now.
>> Yeah. No, I I wasn't. Uh >> you probably wasn't didn't know.
>> I I wasn't a huge fan. Like I've heard his songs, but like I never was like in the know enough to be a huge fan.
>> So you can't be a fan of Eminem.
>> Yeah. That's crazy.
>> I was a fan. I don't say was because I still like his music. I But I mean I was a fan of Eminem as he was coming out.
>> Yeah.
>> Because it was wild and different. early Eminem story from from the perspective that he gave from he didn't give the story his story from the perspective of being from a hood that I'm from and that's what to me I think he did >> he didn't pretend to be black >> it's not the fact that he didn't grow up I meant like the story is what I'm saying is he gave me the report from >> a white trailer park in Detroit >> Snoop gave me the report from the LA standpoint [ __ ] And P gave me the report from uh his his standpoint, right? Say and Eminem gave me the report from where he was at. He didn't >> project his lifestyle into a different timeline and tried to give report from there. Not not >> Yes. No. Right.
>> About him.
>> Right. And he and he and he was authentic to that.
>> Yes.
>> His wild stories about like you know [ __ ] up trailer park nights where >> but you know >> because there's no black person that's going to talk about >> No. Driving around and [ __ ] Yeah. No.
>> No. driving around with a girl in the trunk.
>> Even if they thought about it, they won't >> even if they thought about it.
>> It just because it wouldn't come off the same way as if you said it.
>> No, >> I'm not going to say as if I said it cuz I would still look crazy saying it.
>> I mean, Biggie still look crazy for saying that he would suck on somebody's dad's dick. Like that [ __ ] him in the ass then throw him over the bridge.
>> Yeah. Like we like how he got away with that. I I will never know. But >> that went right past everybody.
Everybody was like >> and they was okay with it.
>> Yeah. Okay. [ __ ] him in the ass and toss him over the bridge. I'm like, >> I don't think anybody repeated that.
>> I was like, no, no, don't do that.
That's not gangster. That's some other [ __ ] That's some other [ __ ] >> Some nice [ __ ] [ __ ] Time follow me around. He covers your [ __ ] You be money. I'm all year money. I'm popping.
You ain't got to count it. It's all >> money.
New music, man.
>> Classic J.
>> Uh, Young Miami dropped a new song. Uh, spend that.
>> Do anybody care?
>> No, I don't know. But it was it's actually A SLAP. HE SAID, "I DON'T KNOW."
>> IT'S A GOOD SUMMER SONG. I don't I don't never get into the female artist like that. I just I know it's biased. It's a >> It's very biased.
>> Probably wrong. There's some like I [ __ ] with Nick.
>> You like what you like.
>> I like Lil Kim, but I'm not driving in the car rocking [ __ ] Cardi B or >> No, >> I don't know. I'm >> think any man should I don't think any man should be driving alone listening to Cardi B.
>> Cardi B and singing along. I've got that W.
>> I don't think any any male should be >> Let me find you with the windows down.
blasting [ __ ] >> with your Yeah, that's gonna look crazy >> in the [ __ ] drop top.
>> You gonna look crazy in the face.
>> But Two Chains got some new music. Luda dropped some new music. Sexy Red, you said Young Miami. And then obviously the new Drake 3 albums came out.
>> Yeah, I'm over that.
>> How do you feel about it? Are you you pass that already?
>> Yeah, I'm over I'm I'm tired of of hearing that guy's voice.
>> Yeah. You don't like any of it?
>> No.
Uh, so Iceman is about basically addressing all of his little beef situations.
>> Addressing everybody from Khaled to Jay to Joe Buddy to Rick Ross two years ago, >> Kendrick to ASAP, whoever he had beef with. That's what that album was for.
>> And then you had Habiti, which was his basically the love ballads, the love songs about his relationship stuff.
>> And then my favorite of the three.
>> You have a favorite? I the only one that I like will continue to play now if if I had a choice I'm saying would be the third one which is the uh made of honor which is all like the summer songs the bang the the the ones with a bounce uptempo club songs >> the international songs >> he has been the music biz number one supplier >> for long time >> for for a very long period of time >> everybody said he was done with this Kendrick he's done But is he he just came out? He took over took over the top 100.
>> I wish he was. I wish he was done. I wish he I wish you like I wish he was finished. Like you you made all the money. You got all the accolades. You you did your big one. You can go ahead now, bro.
>> Go ahead.
>> You know, um >> it's a time when you have to realize like I all right, I'm going just walk away on top.
>> Yeah, >> just walk away on top.
>> But again, I mean, he took that risk and he still took over all of the charts.
>> That's fine. Like Janice, shut the f up.
STFU is the number one spot on Billboard 100. Not just hip-hop.
>> Billboard top 100. Okay. He's got that number one spot with Janice STFU.
>> Okay. Walk away on top.
>> You think now? Do you think that this should be his last set of projects?
>> Like he should walk away on top. You're saying?
>> I just hope that's what he does. I just hope I hope he walks away on top. That's all.
>> Yeah. Whenever that is.
>> Whenever that is.
>> It's before the decline.
>> Yeah. Don't decline, bro. because I'm just wondering if like he did all this work to get out of this deal >> is uh I'm sure he intends on dropping more music now that he's independent and he's got full full control.
>> Okay. So, what are you if you're going to give us the same [ __ ] You better give us something for >> different man.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't want to hear the same. If you do, >> go ahead and do something independently and something different. It better not be the same [ __ ] you've been talking about for the last 10, 15 years.
>> I miss you. I'm so sad. She broke up with me. I'm [ __ ] my homies France.
Girl, >> I'm [ __ ] all the [ __ ] and I'm getting all the money.
>> Shut the [ __ ] up, Drake. Shut the [ __ ] up.
>> Yeah.
>> Shut all the way to [ __ ] up to shut [ __ ] mountain where there's no more fuckups to shut.
>> This is um I haven't listened I haven't enjoyed like the Drake albums since for a while now because of the same formula, same sound, same thing. I just haven't enjoyed it. I did like him when he first came out. It was new.
>> I didn't I don't like that. I don't like that [ __ ] February music. Like he makes a lot of February music.
>> Valentine's Day. You talking like that kind of lovers certif.
>> So, but he lost me for a little while there. I was like, "All right, this is like put on the same record with just a different beat maybe."
>> Yeah.
>> But um this the the Maid of Honor album I actually like there's some slaps on here. The other two I I like I listened to it one time through. I listened to Ice Man a second time through. Um and I got the gist of it. I heard what you said. You came out with All right. I won't keep playing it. I just can't I don't >> Yeah. You know, >> it's not one of those.
>> Yeah. Yeah. It's not one of those. Um The Fate of Honor I've listened to a couple times because it's uh it's cool for the pool, you know, you're at the beach, you're at a party, like that don't work for that. And that's what that's for. I think my >> use of music is different.
>> Yeah.
>> Like some people use music >> for setting a scenario or setting a scene for where they are and they'll pick a a soundtrack what they got going on. I don't I don't utilize music in that way.
>> What do you play in the bedroom?
>> Nothing. I I can't I definitely don't want to hear another man's voice while I'm [ __ ] >> TV. No.
>> Yeah. No. Absolutely not. I just want to hear her and me.
>> Yeah.
>> I want to hear the noises she make. I want to hear that macaroni sound.
>> I want to hear that. I want to hear the splash. I don't want to hear another man or somebody [ __ ] harmony. I don't want to hear.
>> [ __ ] no.
>> Yeah.
>> [ __ ] no.
>> Now while we're while we're >> before we get there and we're sitting where I may have made dinner and I got the record player playing.
>> What's You got to have something on.
Well, you don't have to, but >> it it'll probably be a female voice.
>> Okay. No sweat.
>> Yeah. I don't want to hear >> I don't want to hear no dudes. You know what I'm saying? I don't I'm not going to use another man.
>> T Song's got some songs, but that's more for the younger demographic.
>> For me personally, I'm not going to use another man as an aphrodesiac to get the woman that I wanted to be in.
>> Well, it's more for her.
>> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to use I'm not going to use another man's voice as an aphrodisc I'm about to lay >> ready >> because that scenario is more for them than it is you.
>> Yeah.
>> Like I don't need the music to get going. It's more to get them in the mood.
>> Even if I'm using a woman's voice, it's not for me. Yeah. Like women like women.
>> Yeah.
>> Women like women. Yeah, they do.
>> I love women. But I'm not going to use another man's voice. Shout out to the Lakers.
>> That's like me [ __ ] uh Yeah, I'm just not going to do it.
>> I'm not doing it.
>> You didn't want to finish that.
>> Putting on a putting on [ __ ] LeBron's jersey and standing there with with a basketball and pretending I'm LeBron James for her to get off.
>> You ready to get these balls? You ready TO BALL OUT, BABY?
>> I don't know about that.
>> You ready to ball out, baby?
>> I'm just saying like I just can't do it.
I I'm I'm weird that way.
>> Yeah. No, I see. I will play some music.
That's That's cool.
>> Just just so it's not like, you know, just but low, not loud where it's overpowering the room.
>> You know what I mean?
>> I don't want to hear it.
>> Um, all right. So, I have a question for you. Have you ever been in a onesided relationship?
>> All of them.
>> What What ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
>> ONE RELATION. You've been You've been in the two side relationship that you that >> where they give back.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> What did you not all of them? What did you get?
>> Um, and I'm going tell you why.
And again, I'm a [ __ ] weirdo, right?
Men are not We don't have no entrance.
>> Yeah.
>> So, how where they going to where we going to receive it at?
>> Well, what do you mean by no entrance?
Like, as far as >> No entrance like our our >> bodies are only exits.
>> Yes.
All we have is a bunch of exits.
>> Supposed to be.
>> No, no, no, no. That's not supposed to be. We're I mean, as far as energy, thought or whatever, it's all exiting.
>> Yeah.
>> Like we the only entrance to us is from the highest power there is >> and the food to the belly.
>> Even Even that >> get me with a good meal, baby. even and that's the only way they can transfer energy, right? Is through the food. This is why Wendy's have the word mom in the collar of the shirt of the little girl, right? The Wendy's logo.
>> I got that.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I never beat that.
>> So I like this is how women transfer energy through food. That's why you got to watch who food you eat, right? But >> yeah, because they [ __ ] get mad at you. They could [ __ ] kill you.
>> They could do they could do whatever.
But my point is this. Even after you finish [ __ ] you're charging her up and depleting your own energy.
>> Yeah, it's weird. They get energy after they right >> come and >> they can [ __ ] out sleep and we want to go to sleep. Yeah, cuz we lost all. So we we can only give to them.
>> So what relationship?
It's not one-sided. Well, um I was thinking more of like a you know like where they just take from you but they don't give back like a anything as far as like you know like just coming home with something you might like or reciprocating with a gift or something.
Not even a gift because it doesn't have to be about monetary things, but like the thought about you, right? Like if it's like just what can you do do, but then there's like nothing like you know you're out. You know, I like [ __ ] um a Gatorade. Whatever. I don't. But just you say whatever. I know.
>> You're there and you bring back Gatorades, but you didn't bring me back my [ __ ] uh Frosty Ice Gatorade. Like >> that you know that you know that's what I do.
>> You know like I like it. You know that you were there like or it's just stupid [ __ ] like that. It could be simple because there's not much that I really want back. It's more about giving it like your hair. I like the stylish clothes you wear. And it's just the little things you do that shows how much you really care. Like when I'm chilling with the crew drinking old English straight from the bottle, not the cup. And it gets me more than just [ __ ] up.
Yeah, [ __ ] like that.
>> Anyway, so all right, that was uh what else we got?
>> I don't know, bro.
>> We can end it on that note, huh?
>> Yeah, we can end it on the melodies.
>> We can end it on the melod's.
>> Listen, thank you guys for checking in.
It's always fun hanging out with y'all and going through the week's [ __ ] >> Um, >> tapping in.
>> I'll be back on the next episode in in the cameras with my man JR. We'll be back next week.
>> Yeah.
>> So, check in for next week's episode >> and make sure tapped in right here. Who Got Lyrics.
>> Who Got Lyrics podcast.
>> See you next time.
>> Peace.
