Mustapha Gubio Emerges as APC Gubernatorial Candidate in Borno

[00:00:13]Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima, noted that the peaceful affirmation exercise further demonstrated the APC's strong internal coordination in Borno.

[00:00:45]Governor Babagana Zulum, alongside senior APC leaders and former Borno State governors, commended the peaceful conduct of members.

[00:01:26]Mustapha Gubio, an engineer and former commissioner of the Governor Zulum, thanked party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in him, while pledging to sustain ongoing developmental projects.

[00:01:55]Supporters of the APC expressed confidence in Gubio's candidacy, citing his experience in public service.

[00:02:02]We the youth of Borno are really appreciating this Excellency the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, for choosing one of our own, the engineer Mustapha Gubio, a person that have a good heart, with commitment. Other stakeholders, including APC State Chairman Bello Ayuba, Senator Muhammad Tahir Monguno, Senator Kakashehu Lawan, also expressed faith in Engineer Gubio's emergence as the preparations for the 2027 elections begin in earnest.
