[00:00:00]May is Eller Stanlo syndrome awareness month and I have Eller Stanlo syndrome.

[00:00:04]So I'm going to talk about it for just a second and explain why I wear this thing. I wear this because my thumb dislocates when I play because I have Eller Stanlo syndrome which is a connective tissue disease. It affects my body's ability to create and put together collagen. So all of my joints dislocate and they bend the wrong way.

[00:00:19]And it also affects my digestive system.

[00:00:20]It affects my eyes. It affects my circulation. I have POTS because of it.

[00:00:24]So like I pass out when I stand up sometimes. All sorts of fun things. And I say this because it's a rare disease.

[00:00:32]I don't believe it's rare at all. I believe because it's systemic and chronic and mostly women have it. I just think it's wildly underdiagnosed. I just want this to to serve as a reminder that even though I look totally healthy, I'm not. I'm really sick. And we should be compassionate to people and kind to people because we never know what they're dealing with that's invisible.
