T Davis, a sophomore first baseman out of Louisville, is going bonkers and is running away with the home run title. Believe it or not, the lefty is hitting 364 with a 1342 OPS, leads the country with 34 home runs, which is six more than the hitter behind him and has a whopping 93 ribbies. On May 8th, Davis hit his 32nd home run of the season, breaking the all-time ACC single season home run record. As he also holds the Louisville single season program record for both home runs and RBI's. The lefty has positioned himself as the favorite to win the Golden Spikes Award, which has only been won twice by a sophomore and has an outside chance to drive in a 100 runs, something that hasn't been done in over 23 years. Tag Davis has big league bloodlines as he's the son of former second overall pick and current Phillies broadcaster Ben Davis. The lefty up to this point looks like a shorefire firstrounder and is currently ranked the 29th best prospect for the 2027 MLB draft.
