[00:00:00]Following developing news this morning out of Toronto City Hall relating to Ward 20 Councillor Parky Kantevel.

[00:00:05]Kantevel wrote on social media on Friday afternoon, "Quote, I was surprised to learn of an OPP investigation into allegations against me. I recognize this is difficult news and hope to resolve the situation quickly. I've worked hard to earn the trust of the people of Scarborough Southwest, which I which I take seriously. I've strived to maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity and will address any allegations that suggest otherwise. I'm still learning more about the investigation and the nature of the allegations and will share more as I can." CP24 has reached out to the OPP and Toronto Police for more details.
