[00:56:19]<b>(shared laughter)</b> <b>William: Taanishi!</b> <b>Let's check in with one of our young Métis friends to see</b> <b>what they like to do when the weather gets cold.</b> <b>We'll be visiting with Morrigan</b> <b>all the way up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.</b> Today Morrigan is going ice fishing with her <i>Châpân</i> <b>or grandpa.</b> <b>First, they need to prepare the little fish called ciscos to use</b> <b>as bait that they'll attach to the end of their fishing lines.</b> <b>The bigger trout they're trying to catch love to eat these</b> <b>smaller fish.</b> <b>Look at how Morrigan's grandpa</b> <b>is showing her how to do it.</b> <b>Way to go, Morri!</b> <b>It's a very cold day today</b> <b>almost minus thirty degrees with the wind.</b> <b>Good thing they brought a shelter.</b> <b>For ice fishing, you need to drill a hole all the way</b> <b>through the ice to get to the water underneath.</b> <b>Here's Morrigan, jigging her fishing line up and down</b> <b>to try and attract the fish near the bottom of the lake.</b> <b>No bites yet.</b> <b>Let's go check on the other lines.</b> <b>First things first</b> <b>kick away the small layer of ice that's building up over the hole</b> <b>Next, Morrigan lifts the line up and down</b> <b>to see if they've caught any fish.</b> <b>Grandpa's turn. Looks like nothing yet.</b> <b>The fish might not be hungry</b> <b>but Morrigan sure is.</b> <b>Time to build a windbreak and a fire to stay warm</b> <b>on the island.</b> <b>Mmm...hotdogs. Tasty!</b> <b>Time to head back to the shelter and check on the line</b> <b>Oh oh!
