[00:00:00]Is faith in God reasonable? The third argument is the moral argument. The question here is, does morality exist?

[00:00:08]And we have two options. Either objective morality does exist, or it doesn't exist. Some will argue that objective morality does not exist. It is all relative. Morality is simply a cultural convention of agreed-upon values that have evolved and been shaped differently over time. To that, I would just ask, do you think the Holocaust was objectively bad? If [music] you say that objective morality does not exist, then is there anything keeping another Holocaust from being considered good tomorrow as long as everybody just agrees? See, when pressed on it, we all agree things like that are are evil.

[00:00:43]Objective morality exists, and in order for objective morality to exist, there must be an unchanging standard of that morality. Otherwise, how do we know if what I think is moral truly is moral?

[00:00:56]Morality just falls apart without any objective standard. [music] Naturalism cannot give a satisfactory objective standard, but Christianity absolutely can. God is the standard. Romans 2:15 says, "They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness."

[00:01:15]You see, the human conscience is this witness of God's existence. And as beings that are created in the image of God, we were created to reflect his righteousness. So, when we fall short of that, we feel it. We know it.
