After 12 years of trying to outrun her initial viral success as Piper Blush through various side projects, Marian realized that despite her efforts to grow into something more serious, the thing she truly loved was always the road-trip content creation she started with, demonstrating that authentic passion should take precedence over the pursuit of new opportunities or escaping one's origins.

After 12 Years, We're Going Back追加:
12 years. I started on YouTube 12 years ago. I was Piper Blush and it worked. I went viral. 18 million views.
>> And then for 12 years, I tried to outrun it.
>> I started Side Projects, a virtual reality camera. Then Cocooscope, a platform, a mix between YouTube and Patreon. I built it with family, seven years of it. Then he left with a million dollars of mine.
>> We're clicking and scrolling, chasing that sunrise >> about a watch with what was left to mark the time. Then the pandemic, a band, a diet, a way to keep moving. And finally, I wrote a book. Everything that will let me leave the camera behind and grow up into something more serious. I did everything that wasn't YouTube. I just finished the book, a memoir. A year and a half to write, seven months to sell, 12 years on the page. And the whole time I was selling it, I kept feeling the world tilt. The wars on the news every morning, AI starting to do the jobs we train for, the grocery bill. The fact that I'm a millennial and the home I was supposed to own by now isn't coming.
A few weeks ago, my husband and I were driving south. Vancouver to LA, stopping wherever we wanted. more time outside than we had in years hugging trees honestly talking to people real people in real life. And somewhere on the road I looked at him and said it. This is what we love. We have been trying so hard to do anything else. And the thing we actually love is the thing we started with. So we're going back. We're going to road trip in our Tesla Model X.
Slowly stopping wherever we want. Camera every day. Not because it's a job, because it's the only thing I've never stopped loving. My husband on the other side of the lens the way he always has been.
The robots can have the rest. We're keeping the parts they can't fake. The road, the trees, the bad puns, the detours, the people we meet, the camera in our hands. We only get one of these.
Come live yours with us.
>> We're clicking and scrolling, chasing that sunrise, turning this life into a funky paradise.
>> From the couch to the corner office, we're on our way.
>> Not sure if I like that song.
>> Piper leading us through the maze.
Follows and ro you boss man I ain't your slave I'll write my own script set my own pace you boss man I ain't your slave Hey.
