Buy a Tesla and one day it's going to become a fully autonomous robot taxi through a software update. There's a bottleneck here and I want to explain it. Take for example when you use ChatGPT, right? The heavy lifting happens in the massive server farms that they have. The cloud can scale forever. But a self-driving car is like this local robot. It has to process the [music] cameras, the radar, the split-second decisions entirely on the silicon that's locked inside the dashboard. And >> [music] >> the hardware 3 chip just doesn't have the sheer compute power for these new models. And this is the dirty secret of this AI boom.
