In a vertical prison where food platforms descend daily and top prisoners consume everything, leaving nothing for those below, survival requires cooperation and sacrifice; the film demonstrates that extreme scarcity creates competition and despair, but solidarity and selfless acts can restore hope and humanity even in the most oppressive conditions.

Vertical Prison Where You Have 2 Minutes to Eat, What Remains is Moved Down to Another CellAdded:
Goring wakes up in a cold concrete cell with the number 48 on the wall. He looks across the room and sees an old man named Trimagasi sitting on a bed. The old man tells him that they are in a vertical prison called The Hole. Goring asks why there is a giant square opening in the middle of the floor. Trimagasi explains that a platform [music] full of food comes down from the top every day. The platform stays on their floor for a few [music] minutes before moving down to the next. Goring looks down into the dark hole and realizes there are hundreds of floors below.
Trimagasi says the people [music] at the top eat everything and leave nothing for the bottom. The old man shows Goring [music] his favorite knife that he brought into the prison. Goring shows his item, which is a book titled Don Quixote. The old man laughs because you cannot eat a book when the hunger starts to bite. [music] A loud red light flashes and a deep humming sound fills the entire room. The stone platform floats down [music] from the ceiling and stops right in front of them. Goring sees a pile of messy leftovers and [music] dirty plates from the floors above. Trimagasi starts eating the scraps with his bare hands like a hungry animal. Goring feels sick [music] to his stomach and refuses to touch the dirty food. The old man warns him that he will be begging for those scraps in a week.
[music] The platform moves down and Goring watches it disappear into the darkness. He asks what happens to the people who are at the very bottom of the hole. Trimagasi says they die because the food never reaches the lower levels.
Goring tries to talk to the people on floor 49 through the hole. The old man tells him to stop because the people below are beneath them. He says he won't talk to the people on floor 47 because they are above. Goring realizes the prison is designed to make everyone hate [music] each other. He spends his days reading his book while the old man sharpens his knife. The hunger begins to grow in Goring's stomach like [music] a sharp piece of glass. On the second day, the platform arrives and Goring finally reaches for an apple. Next day, a woman named Miharu sits on the [music] platform as it arrives on their level.
Trimagasi tells Goring to ignore her because she is looking for a lost child.
He says the child does not exist and [music] the woman is just a crazy murderer. The people on the floor below try to grab Miharu, but she fights [music] them off. Goring watches her with pity as the platform sinks further into the darkness. The month is almost over and Goring asks what happens when the time is up. Trimagasi says they will be put to sleep with [music] gas and moved to a new floor. He warns Goring that their luck might run out when they wake up tomorrow. The red lights [music] flash and the gas begins to fill the room while they sleep. Goring closes his eyes and wonders where he will be when he wakes up again.
>> [music] >> Goring wakes up and tries to move his arms, but he cannot move an inch. He realizes his wrists and his ankles are tied to the bed [music] with thick, rough ropes. He looks at the wall and his heart sinks when he sees the number 171.
Trimagasi is sitting on [music] the opposite bed looking very calm and very dangerous. The old man says he is sorry, but they are too far down for any food [music] to arrive. He explains that at this level, the platform is always completely empty and dry. Goring begs him to untie the ropes, but the old man says he needs to [music] survive.
Trimagasi says he will wait a few days until they both get very, >> [music] >> very hungry. He plans to cut small pieces of Goring's flesh to keep them both from [music] dying. He calls it a logical way to live because he doesn't want Goring to die all at once. The platform arrives on their floor and it is sparkling clean because there is no food left. [music] Goring screams for help down the hole, but his voice is thin and no one answers. Trimagasi tells him to save [music] his energy because no one in the hole cares about a scream.
Seven days pass and the old man finally stands up and picks up his samurai plus knife. He tells Goring that the time has come and he begins to sharpen the blade one last time. Just [music] as the old man leans over Goring, a shadow drops from the ceiling above. [music] It is Miharu, the woman who travels on the platform and she lands like a silent cat. She attacks Trimagasi with incredible speed and knocks him away from Goring's bed. Miharu fights with extreme [music] violence and hits the old man until he falls to the floor. She uses the knife to cut the ropes and finally sets Goring free from the bed.
Goring is weak and dizzy, but he grabs the knife while Miharu holds the old man down. Goring kills Trimagasi to make sure he can never hurt or eat [music] another person again. Miharu helps Goring eat a small piece of the old man so he can regain his strength. She stays for a short time [music] and then jumps back onto the platform to continue her search. Goring is left alone on level 171 with the body of the man who tried to eat him. [music] He starts to lose his mind and hears Trimagasi's voice talking to him in the dark. The old man's ghost sits on the edge of the bed and mocks Goring for becoming a killer.
The month finally ends and the gas [music] fills the room to move Goring to a new floor. He wakes up on level 33 [music] and sees a woman named Imigari sitting across from him. She has a small dog named Ramesses II and she is wearing the administration's uniform. Imigari says she used to be the person who interviewed Goring before he entered.
She is shocked to see what the hole has done to his face [music] and his mind.
She tries to be kind and prepares two perfect plates of food for the people below. She spends every day calling down the hole asking the people to share the food. The people below only scream back at her and tell her to shut her mouth.
Goring [music] tells her that she is wasting her breath because hunger has no ears. He tells her that the only way to make them [music] listen is to threaten their lives. He screams that he will poop on the food if they do not listen to the lady. The people below finally get quiet and agree [music] to share because they are afraid. Imigari tells Goring that she has cancer and wanted to fix the system before she died. She believes that spontaneous solidarity will happen if [music] everyone is just nice. Goring laughs at her because he knows the hole is a machine that breaks people.
>> [music] >> One morning, Goring wakes up and realizes they have been moved during the night. He looks at the wall and sees the number 202 painted [music] in red. He looks for Imigari, but he finds her body hanging from the ceiling in the corner.
She chose to die rather than face the hunger of the lower levels. Goring is alone again and his hunger becomes so bad that he eats [music] his own book.
He rips the pages of Don Quixote and chews the dry paper just to stop the stomach pain. He begins to have visions of the old man and the lady dancing together in the cell. He waits [music] in the darkness for the final month to begin or for his life to end. Goring wakes up and sees the number six on the wall, which means he is at the very top.
His new cellmate is a strong man named Bahara who brought a long rope as his item. Bahara tries to use the rope to climb up [music] to level five to escape the prison. The couple on the floor above pretends to help him, but then they mock him and fail. Goring tells Bahara [music] that the only way to change things is to go down to the bottom. He says they must ride the platform and protect the food so the people at the bottom can eat. They [music] grab two heavy metal pipes from the beds to use as weapons against the hungry crowds. They jump onto the platform as it begins its daily descent [music] from the very top floor. Goring and Bahara stand over the food and tell everyone to stay back [music] and wait.
They pass the first 50 floors and use their pipes to stop anyone from taking too much. [music] They meet a wise man on one of the levels who tells them they need a symbol. The man says they [music] must protect one beautiful dish to send back up to the kitchen. They choose a perfect panna cotta dessert and decide that no one is allowed to touch it.
[music] As they go deeper, the people become more desperate and start to fight the two men.
>> [music] >> Goring and Bahara have to fight many people to keep the panna cotta safe.
They reach the lower levels where the lights are dim and the air is filled [music] with death. They see Miharu being attacked by several men and they jump off the platform to help her.
[music] A massive and bloody fight happens in the dark cell as they try to save the woman. Miharu is killed in the struggle and both Goring and Bahara are badly injured. They manage [music] to get back onto the platform as it continues to sink into the abyss. Bahara is losing a lot of blood and he can no longer stand up on his own. They pass level 250 and see that [music] almost everyone there is already dead. The platform keeps falling past levels that the administration says do not even [music] exist. They finally reach the very bottom floor, which is level 333.
The platform stops and Goring looks under a bed in the corner of the room.
He finds a young girl with long dark hair hiding in the shadows of the cell.
Goring is shocked because [music] Imageri told him that children were never allowed inside. The girl is starving so Goring decides to give her the panna cotta they were saving. He realizes that the girl herself is the real [music] message that needs to be sent to the top. Bahara passes away from his wounds and Goring stays with the girl until the end of the day. The [music] platform begins its extremely fast journey back up to the very top level. Goring starts to get off the platform, [music] but the ghost of Trimageisa appears one last time. The old man tells Goring that the message [music] needs no bearer and he must stay behind. Goring walks into the darkness of the bottom floor and watches the girl go up. The girl sits on the platform and looks up at the light as she flies toward the surface. The screen goes black and the movie ends with the girl rising to the kitchen. Thanks for watching the video.
