Victims’ Rights Advocate Files DOJ Complaint Targeting Illinois Officials Over Sanctuary Policies

[00:00:00]Victims' rights advocate, Jennifer Harrison, says she's filed a complaint with the Department of Justice seeking an investigation into Illinois officials, including Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker, as part of a broader effort to challenge what she describes as soft-on-crime and sanctuary policies that shield illegal immigrant criminals.

[00:00:22]>> We are speaking with victim rights reform advocate Jennifer Harrison. She is leading a crusade against George Soros-backed prosecutors who refuse to prosecute illegal aliens, which has resulted in murder in several jurisdictions. Ms. Harrison, you have most recently issued a Department of Justice complaint seeking an investigation of Illinois Governor J.B.

[00:00:46]Pritzker and prosecutors in Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois. Why?

[00:00:53]>> So many different reasons, but basically because I am tired of sitting back and watching the bloodshed that ensues on a daily basis in Illinois, Chicago, Lake County, you know, whether it's Democrat soft-on-crime policies, sanctuary policies, and illegal aliens killing our children and raping our loved ones. Um, people need to be held accountable for making reckless decisions that repeat that repeatedly release repeat violent offenders that then go on to inflict harm upon other human beings.

[00:01:26]>> So, this, I think, is kind of in connection with the death of someone named Megan Boss, Megan Boss.

[00:01:34]Uh, uh, apparently she she was murdered, but it seems like it's kind of murky because, I guess, uh, there was evidence of an overdose of drugs. Is that right?

[00:01:46]>> So, the only person that we have to, um, go by their story in this case is an illegal alien who, after Megan died in his apartment, um, and in his company, dumped her in a garbage can upside down and poured bleach over it her body to hide any evidence that there was. So, the investigators in this case are taking the word of this man who, again, was here illegally, was living under a false identity, um, as to what happened.

[00:02:20]Uh, you know, he destroyed evidence, he destroyed Megan's phone, he left her in this garbage pail filled with bleach for 51 days while her family searched around him. I mean, some of them even knocked on his door. So, I don't understand why we're taking the word of this man who definitely can't be trusted. I think that there should be higher charges and more serious charges, um, but, you know, this is where we are and thank thankfully President Trump sent stepped in to have him detained by ICE because because of the lack of seriousness of the charges, ICE wasn't even going to be able to detain him. So, President Trump stepped in, sent ICE in, and then that forced Lake County to upgrade charges and take this a little bit more seriously. But, the fact that this man was going to be on the streets after what he did, you know, even if he didn't kill Megan or murder her, um, you know, putting her in a garbage pail for 51 days covered in bleach, smashing her phone, hiding her belongings, lying to her family while they searched around her, you know, he saw all the posters, he saw all the people looking for her, um, you know, I I don't know why that person should be on the street living amongst the rest of us.

[00:03:32]>> This is one of the situations where you actually have, uh, pressed for prosecution here. And apparently, the Department of Justice has, I'm not sure if they are reacting in in direct, uh, response to your complaint, but certainly your complaint has brought about uh, perhaps in addition to others in Fairfax County investigation by the Department of Justice. What other and the nexus here the connection is there is support with electing these prosecutors from George Soros and his his nonprofit, right? Is that what it is and is there are we talking which nonprofit are we talking about here that is the Soros backed one that gets involved in these uh support of you know prosecutors.

[00:04:22]>> Well, it really depends on what community you're talking about. They have all different names. In New York it's community for change. I think in Fairfax it's WFP or something like that.

[00:04:34]The real the big one is Open Society. If anybody wanted to really find out you know what George Soros's organizations are about they could go to Open Society and that it's pretty much listed there.

[00:04:44]But George Soros figured out and you know he's pretty smart because it's working. That nobody really paid attention to District Attorney races.

[00:04:52]People pay attention to Senate races, people pay attention to statewide races, but they don't really pay attention to District Attorney races or judge races.

[00:05:01]So you don't have to invest a lot of money and because of prosecutorial discretion these people have a lot of leeway to either enforce the law or not enforce the law and they're protected behind an iron curtain of immunity.
