Daniel 8:14 presents the 2,300 evenings and mornings prophecy, which marks the beginning of the sanctuary cleansing work in heaven when Christ entered the most holy place in 1844 to perform the final atonement, representing the time of the end when God's judgment begins and the world faces the ultimate test of standing before Him.

SSL 21 – “Prophetic Animals and the Little Horn” – Sabbath, May 23, 2026Added:
Welcome again to the ministerial research institute of the international missionary society 7th day Adventist church reform moment study of Sabbath school lesson number 21 for May 23 2026 our last lesson number 20 prophetic beasts and connections was based on Daniel chapter 7 it brought to view a vision of fierce beast representing the powers of earth as God saw them or sees them. But the enzen of the Messiah's kingdom is a lamb, a clean beast.
Earthly kingdoms rule by earthly methods, physical power. Christ is the one who rules not by force but by faith. His kingdom was to be established to uplift and enobble humanity.
The leopard-like beast of Revelation 13 harks back to Daniel chapter 7 and describes another view of what Daniel saw in his vision in chapter 7. So, this chapter is very important to understanding Revelation. And the heart of Revelation, of course, is Revelation 14. And the leadup to that is Revelation 13.
But if you'll notice, if you ever looked at Daniel 7 and so saw the order of lion, bear, leopard, dragon, if you go and look in Revelation 13, you see the reverse, the dragon, the leopard, the bear, the lion, sees it in the reverse order. Well, why is that? Because where John stands, he's looking back in time to the time when these powers were. And therefore he sees them the connection in reverse order.
Interesting.
In contrast to Daniel 2 where the kingdoms are seen as shining metals, we see them in Daniel 7 as devouring beasts and unclean beasts at that too. And there's no d no real judgment in in Daniel chapter uh two. an execution of judgment for sure, but no understanding of judgment because worldly kingdoms, worldly kings do not rule under the um idea, the assumption of an accountability to God. But in Daniel chapter 7, where God sees the the kingdoms as devouring beasts, we see God's judgment emphasized.
So today's lesson is taking up Daniel 8 and it is centered in judgment also. In fact, Daniel 8:14 is the center of the book of Daniel. Everything's leading up to Daniel 8:14 and everything after it leads away from it. So that's the what's called the kayastic center of the book of Daniel. I personally believe that the kayastic center of revelation is the judgment hour message of Revelation 14:7.
That's my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. I believe that's the center to which all of D revelation points and it and everything from that uh develops afterwards. So today's lesson is on Daniel 8. And this is the heart of where the time we're living in. The prophecy of the judgment. And the book of Daniel was what brought about the great advent movement. And Daniel 8:14 is the heart of this movement. It's where everything centered from the very beginning.
So here the kingdoms of the world are portrayed uh not as in their glory as in Daniel 2 or as in their gory as in Daniel chapter 7 but as clean beasts because Daniel 8 is the story of God's people and their destiny in the impending judgment and seeks to answer the profound question we find in Revelation 6, the last verse. Who shall be able to stand in the day of judgment?
This is a very interesting lesson. We're not going to go into a lot of details with dates and and historical figures because we're going to u take it very simply, but we're going to mention the most important parts that are to be understood to connect this lesson in its proper context both with chapter 7 and the and the words of Daniel in chapters 9 and what follows. So this study we have the privilege to have with us in our online lawn studio Pastor Douglas Francis. Welcome brother Francis to our lesson today.
>> My pleasure. Thank you for inviting me.
>> It's our pleasure to have you. We're going to pray as we ask God to help us in this lesson. Father in heaven, bless now your word and bless now your students. Help each one to have a faith that centers in Jesus Christ knowing that he is our advocate in the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary as we read in other parts of the Bible especially the book of Hebrews and chapters 8 9 and 10 and that we can have this assurance that God looks upon us through the blood of Jesus Christ and we can overcome through him. Thank you Lord for being with us and being our guide through your Holy Spirit. Give us much understanding, much peace in this world of war in Jesus name. Amen.
>> Amen.
>> Okay. Chapter uh chapter 8, prophetic animals and the little horn. Lesson 21.
We have a interesting quote from Ephesians 1:17. It says that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ and the father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Why do you think this text was chosen for the introduction? Brother, brother Douglas, to me I think uh it reminds me uh Revelation chapter 1 verses 1 and two. You see the order that the revelation of God and God gives that revelation to Jesus and then Jesus gives to the the the angel and angel gives to the prophet and prophet gives to the church and church to us. And uh this this is the order that exactly and and the answer like to your question that we find that in in this the purpose of God's uh giving that prophecy or prophetic gift to us is that you know it's given here the father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him and it is about knowledge about him we are going to study about him and his control and what his actions are and what his actions were. So this is what exactly given to us by Apostle Paul.
Yes, very good answer also if we don't have Christ in the center we have a hollow message. So this is this message of the 2,300 days and all the details and the times and the dates and everything and the furniture these aren't so important. If we don't have Christ they make no sense. But when we see Christ in it then we have a complete picture. Now, one of the primary persons that this lesson speaks of, it says in the note, wherefore when he found in his study of the Bible, that's an interesting question because who's the he here? Well, if you look at it, it's William Miller. And he began studying the Bible with his crudin concordance and nothing more in about 1818, which was just about 20 years after the time of the end began. And we learned in our lesson that the whole that Daniel was not going to be understood until the time of the end. And so he and other people were studying the book of Daniel and began to be open to them. And it says he found in his study in the Bible various chronological periods that according to his understanding of them extended to the second coming of Christ.
He could not but regard them as the times before appointed. And now we're going to read that phrase in our lesson.
the times before appointed and is associated with the time of the end.
We'll point that out when we get there.
Now, which God had revealed unto his servant. So, the secret things belong unto the Lord our God. Now, this is from Deuteronomy 29:29. And those things revealed belong unto us. So, the students of God's word may then confidently expect to find the most stupendous event to take place in human history. clearly pointed out in the scriptures of truth. Now what's the most stupendous event in my opinion there's two one is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the other one is his second coming.
So we do have laid out in direct line uh and we'll see that next time the stupendous event of the sacrifice of Christ. But for today we have this lesson on the cleansing of the sanctuary and what vision was shown to Daniel concerning um certain world events. what was that shown and where do we what what do we see in this what is this talking about here in Daniel chapter 8 >> so basically brother Larry I think uh the entire lesson we are going to study is what being revealed to Daniel and uh we must understand Daniel's understanding also was very limited in this regard Daniel's focus was that you know when will my people get relieved from here. When will we build the temple of God which was destroyed by Babylonians? That was the concern of Daniel and we when we are going we are studying and going through it we understand that and Daniel has very limited knowledge about the what is going to happen and because it is it is history to us but it is uh it is prophecy for Daniel and Daniel is not understanding what is going on. much like we understand today because the book is open to us but when Daniel's situation it was very limited well we have u the things in Daniel chapter 8 it starts out with um the ram and then the goat and so forth mentioned here in the lesson and we know >> very simply but straightforward um Babylon's not mentioned and We might ask, well, how does it match up with Daniel 7 and Daniel 2? Well, the vision was given after Daniel after Babylon had fallen. So therefore, though that power is history at this point. So when we look at this lesson, we see this power is not mentioned there, but and that's the reason because it just wasn't available at that time.
So here we have the mentioned uh these beasts the ram and the goat. Now you can go to history and find these things clearly defined there. But all that God has in proph uh prophetic history specified to be fulfilled in the past has been and all that is yet to come in its order will be. So Daniel, God's prophet stands in his place. John stands in his place. And we have to say we stand in our place. And what are we in this time? In the revelation, we see the line of the tribe of Judah as opposed to the other powers which are looked at as um terrible powers, a dragon, a beast in Revelation 13 and so forth. So Daniel's standing in his place. He bears his testimony and it says great and solemn events which m he we must know as we stand in the very threshold of their fulfillment.
So there's many things have been fulfilled and what the question is now what is yet to be understood. So we have these worldly powers which are mentioned in parallel Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Daniel 8. And if we study closely Daniel 1911 and 12, we see a fourth iteration more more in detail. And we'll see something of that as we go on. But today, our study is centered in the center. And that center is Jesus Christ and his sanctuary work as high priest. Question to ask what was prophesied to occur in these years around 330 and 3:23.
Uh and this was the ram and the conflict between the ram and the goat. What was that about brother?
It's about uh you know the king of media and Persia is talking about there and uh then we understand that uh the power that one power is greater than the other the Persian power we can see that uh the media median king was Darius whereas the Persian king was overrule I mean overall emperor Cyrus we could say and uh Darius's son Ahazerus was the husband of Esther and that is another significant uh figure we find in the Bible and then uh here we find that you know Daniel is in Iraq whereas the Persia is considered as Iran and today we understand that much because today we are talking about Iran many times in the news and uh and uh here we find that these two powers that took over Babylon and uh and it goes down the history and then the the that every time that you know we we we understand that uh I like to read this portion here in the note those who passed over the ground step by step in the past history of our experience seeing the chain of truth in prophecies were prepared to accept and obey every ray of light. They were praying, fasting, searching, digging for the truth as for hidden treasures and the Holy Spirit we know was teaching and guiding us. So we are learning the history and whereas Daniel was prophesying and when we learn the history and and we compare with the the biblical history and the the biblical prophecy together we have more faith in the word of God and more faith in the firmness and the handling of everything and God is having his hand in history.
That is the core thing we have to understand and all what the reason is that we can reason it out. All what was prophesized took place here the history we have and what is remaining in the prophecies will take place. So we have that assurance when we study this and we have the confidence in the Bible and the word.
>> Thank you. That's very clear. and we're looking at the historical background of what we're going to study um with with God's people at this time are pointed out will be pointed toward. And so we're going to now connect Daniel 2, Daniel 7, and then with Daniel 8 already. So we have something called progressive amplification here in the book of Daniel which is showing God's purpose uh in the affairs of history. And question three asks before we get to question four in the cleansing of the sanctuary says what empires had been shown to be prophetic uh to the prophet previously what was therein. So when we're talking about judgment here, we see that these powers um had a destiny. What was that destiny?
According to Daniel 232 and 33 and and Daniel 75-7, what was their destiny?
>> Actually, we we we see that you know the it's talking about once again it is being compared to what we we learned in that statue. The golden statue of Nebuchadnezzar is explained here in Daniel 2 when we go go into that. So it is the golden the golden image that you know the head was that golden era of history with Nebuchadnezzar and it is not going to be repeated again and it is going to come down and down and down. So it uh we can see it ended up with iron that only the strength and no not much of value. So so compared to gold and uh here that I I like to highlight here in the note that you know the first few sentences here from the rise and fall of nations as made plain in the books books of Daniel and the revelation. We need to learn how worthless is mere outward and worldly glory.
How that is that is very significant and the glory that we are talking about it is nothing in front of the Lord and he is having his hand and you know the the question is that you know what empires had been shown to the prophet and then what was their end the end why that happened. So each each uh uh empire had the end end stories you know why it ended. We we can we can learn and we can understand when we look at the history and different ways that you know we understand that. soul so perishes all that has not God for its foundation.
Only that which is bound up with his purposes and expresses his character will endure. The principles are the only steadfast things our world knows and often that's all talks about the principles of the ten commandments.
So that is the foundation.
>> Yeah. Sorry that you know the ends that it is very interesting to see. Look at the history when we talk about Babylonian end. Why the pride, drunkenness and rebellious action against rebellious against God that ended that kingdom. We understand that Methopia is once again we understand that uh they are uh basically abuse of power and moral decline and dependence on military and they were just very orderly people. So they're very proud about that. So that was their decline once again. And when we talk about Greece, it is a human pride and exaltation of worldly power like you know we can do it. why can't we do it and kind of dependence on might that destroy them and we understand pagan Rome once again it was the corruption the moral corruption destroyed that kingdom so likewise we understand that you know the papal Rome also the it's going to be destroyed and it destroyed in the dark age at the end of the dark ages that is apostasy apostasy and persecution of God's people. That is the decline of that power. So all these things the in summary in nutshell we can see they went as you mentioned they went against the commandments of God.
>> Yeah. And who's going against the commandments of God today? especially the heart of the of the law which is Christ is standing before now in the heavenly sanctuary in which this text we're going to read next points to question four asks what especially significant prophecy dealing with numbers was presented to him and may I also say uh dealing with principles because in Daniel 8:14 and 19 and he said unto me under 2300 00 days. Now, other translations, I'm quoting from the English Standard Version, says, "For 2300 evenings and mornings, then shall the sanctuary be restored to its rightful place." And verse 19 refers to that quote we had before, appointed to the end shall be. It says in uh again in the English Standard Version, for it refers to the appointed time of the end. And we know that occurs and we're not going to go into all the details to show that that we're in the time of the end for one reason. It says the book of Daniel was not going to be understood until the time of the end.
And the book, if we want to understand it, the book of Daniel is understood today. And this chapter is a key element in that understanding. So the question what is the sanctuary needs to be clearly understood. So thus mentioned clearly those kingdoms which passed away had a wrong foundation. They weren't built upon the principles of God. And now where are those principles expressed? In the ten commandments.
Where is Jesus today standing in the most holy place? Before the ten commandments. And what is in the heart of the ten commandments? The seal of God. that part the only part of the commandment that tells who God is the God that we're serving and he is the creator of heaven and earth. So that is the sign the seal of God. And we have here the question is what why do we ask the question what is the sanctuary? Why is that question so important brother Daniel?
>> Yeah I I I would like to mention it with the historical view that you know where was the sanctuary? sanctuary was in the middle of all the tents that you know the tents were placed right around and the sanctuary was in the middle and the sanctuary truth is the center of Christianity.
It is exactly like that and where was the where where was the most holy place?
It is in the center and then we find that we understand that and uh it it was placed that that we understand that you know where it the the ten commandments were placed and that is in the middle of the entire Israelites like you know it is in the center. So today's Christianity is centered in in this sanctuary truth that you know history is centered our destiny is the center that you know sanctuary is the center of our destiny as well because that is what we understand today that Jesus's work today in the most holy place and we understand because of this prophecy today and most the notable thing we have to understand is that you know Most of our brothers and sisters who are watching this program need to understand that these numbers calculated 2,300 days prophecy is the last numbers mentioned in prophetic times that after this the 2,300 days there is no numbers mentioned in the Bible. I'm I think I'm right brother Larry.
>> I think you're right prophetically speaking. There's another element here that we also need to understand and that is that the termination of the 2300 evenings and mornings. We have to put that in there because we see that it in the end of Daniel which we will see in question five that the uh end the the vision concerning the evenings and mornings was sure. So that goes connecting connecting us with the next chapter. So, we need to understand that Daniel didn't understand. The angel told him that he needed to understand it. And well, I'm getting ahead of myself in the lesson here, but the sanctuary is the sanctuary in heaven. And I love the way you pointed it out that it was the center of the worship. And in the heart of the sanctuary was the most holy place. In the heart of the most holy place was the ark of the covenant. And the in the ark of the covenant was the law of God. And in the center of the law of God was the Sabbath. And in the heart of the Sabbath is the seal of God. And it's interesting when we present the sanctuary message, we always start from the outside in. But if you realize what happened in the after the Exodus, God started with the inside out. He mentioned the s the Sabbath in the giving of the mana in chapter 16. And it wasn't until he gave the law in chapter 20 that then they had to find a place to put the ark and that was in the uh I mean the law they had to put it in the ark where to put the ark in the most holy place where the hol most holy place was. So it started with the law going out that's how they built the sanctuary.
We often present it outside in but God's religion is an inside out religion not an outside in although that is important also the external things do reveal what's on the inside as we know any other thoughts to question four before we go to question five yes brother Larry because the the the verse 19 is very significant also we have to understand that it is talking about the time appointed And also the verse 19 is talking about the events connected with the end. It's it's mentions there the end and and also the final judgment scenes also is is in that and and again we understand that you know closing period of earth's history also it is embedded in that uh verse. So it is very important for us to understand this is talking about the time that we are living in. So it is very significant to us the Laodician church period. So this is very important for us because we are in the time of judgment the leadyia the people of the judgment. Unquestionably this message points to the sanctuary in heaven.
Question five. How was Daniel affected by the vision? How important is this prophecy in the book of Daniel for God's people today? Now that's kind of a deep question. Why do you see it? Yeah, because the verse 27 you can see that Daniel mentions here and I Daniel fainted and was sick certain days after afterward I rose up and did the king's business. So now we understand why he fainted because when he heard the 2,300 days uh prophecy that uh oh we are going to be as slaves in Babylon for 2,300 years. Oh, Daniel couldn't take it up.
He couldn't take it up. And then then again we understand that uh Gabriel was sent and uh Gabriel had to meet his colleague Lucifer on the way and uh he was he was interrupted by him and then we understand Michael need to come and relieve him and then Gabriel continued his mission came came and reached Daniel. So here we understand that uh Daniel's the impact that Daniel had with this mission. So how how this prophecy is impacting us today because already we are in that period the the the judgment time period when while the judgment is going on we are here how it is impacting our life is so important and it is impacting with the three angels message we have and which we are supposed to proclaim and we are being chosen to proclaim that message and especially we are we are supposed to proclaim the loud cry and loud as possible. So all these things are included here as a package.
So that is what I believe that you know it is so important because Daniel was affected because of this vision. He thought about his freedom and how we are going to build the temple. How long we are going to be here in Babylon was the impact that Daniel felt and I think we should have the same impact. How long we are going to suffer? How long we are going to go through Lord Jesus come?
Because that is the last few words we find in the Bible when the revel revelator ends the Bible. Lord Jesus Christ come soon. So I think our prayer should be that.
>> Yes, I agree and thank you for the succinct way you put it all. Uh we could go into much detail and if you want to go more open your Bible, get your concordance out and study these things and look at them seriously because God has a pattern here for us. But let's mention a couple of things. The vision of the evening and morning we read in verse 26, understand that it was to be at the end of time. And that's what question six brings out. How important is this prophecy in the book of Daniel for God's people today? And you've already mentioned some of that because it says in verse 16 of chapter 8, Gabriel, make this man understand the vision and um understand, oh man, for the time of the end uh it shall be shall be the vision.
Therefore, we have this note which is significant and we need to understand what it says and it says it better than I can um paraphrase. It says as in the typical service. What is a typical service? That was in the Old Testament.
All those sacrifices and services.
There was a work of atonement at the close of the year. That is at the day of atonement. At the close of the year, they had the day of the atonement when they cleansed the sanctuary. All the sins were taken out symbolically through the blood of Christ the sacrifice placed on the scapegoat and he was led into the wilderness there to die. And so when Jesus comes out of the sanctuary with his blood, he places it on Satan. He takes his people home and this earth is a desolate waste. And Satan is here for a thousand years in this bottomless pit.
So before Christ's work for the redemption of man is complete, there is a work of atonement for the removal of the sins from the sanctuary. And we're talking about sanctuary in heaven. This is the service which began when the 2300 evenings and mornings ended or 2300 years. At that time as foretold by the Daniel the prophet our high priest entered the most holy to perform the last division of his solemn work to cleanse the sanctuary. So if we look at Passover, Christ's death, Pentecost, his giving the Holy Spirit, then the next holy day is day of atonement in the seventh month, the 10th day, the cleansing of the sanctuary. And then after that was the feast of tabernacles, which is a symbol of God's people in the new earth. So we have Passover, Pentecost, Day of Atonement, uh uh the day of the the week of tents or the the um the what is it called? The time of of the uh I'm getting tongue tied here. when they have the they go out into the nature and they have the the week of the um >> the tents you're talking about.
>> Yes. The time >> what is that called? Uh I said it before but we have the time of the feast of the tents when they go out and live in nature and that's a symbol of the new earth. So the whole p the whole system of Israel is explained in the feast of tabernacles. That's what I'm looking for. Okay. So, the work of cleansing the sanctuary is going on now.
And that means that God is We see that in Revelation in Daniel chapter 7, the books are open.
I know. Yes. In question number six, brother Larry, we understand here that you know in this note is so important to note here. High priest entered the most holy holy to perform the last division of his solemn work. Last division.
What do you mean by last division? Who is going to be in and who is going to be out?
That is the final division and there is no more compromise and there is no time left and the probation is over. It is going to be the final.
Okay, we end with this question seven.
How does the prophecy relate to the to contemporary history? That means the history today and surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealth his secrets into the servants of prophets.
And then we have this verse eight which we don't quote usually when we quote this text. It says, "The lion hath roared. Who will fear? The Lord hath spoken. Who can but prophesy?" What does that mean?
is actually the lion had rode and who will not fear because it is it is so significant and it is so important that here we understand that it it is already being revealed who cannot be without hearing and everyone hears that and everyone gets shaken everyone gets shaken any animal shouts nobody's going to going to get shaken but when a lion rose Everyone gets shaken because that brings it such a big vibrant sound. So here the lion lion had rode who will not fear. So that we had to understand the lion of Judah.
Well the lion hath roared. I I think of Jesus Christ being the lion of the tribe of Judah as you mentioned and he has spoken.
>> Mhm. And when he has finished speaking, he stands up and it's over. So there is a time that the Lord has spoken, who can but prophesy. Let's not be like Balum wanting to do something that God doesn't want to get done. Let's be like John, the prophecy of re uh the pro the prophet of Revelation and also Jesus Christ who spoke and is stood fast. So those who follow in the light of the prophecies saw instead of the coming to earth the termination of the 2300 days in 1844 the ascension or the entering of Christ into the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary to do what? To perform the closing work of atonement preparatory to his return. Because Jesus needs to know and he has to define and he's going to have to give account of choosing whom he will choose. Separating the sheep from the goats and we don't know when that's going to begin in the time of the living. Who knows when >> we don't know that. Yes. But very soon.
That's all we can say.
>> So it's a fearful time. If God has spoken, who cannot but prophesy and repeat? Prophecy means to reveal the will of God.
May his will be revealed in your life and mine. It's my prayer.
>> Yeah, that is true. And the contemporary science often connected with this. We can also mention that you know today we are talking about the glo global conflicts we talk about and then we can see about economic uncertaintity in the world and this is coming up and then religious confusion and increase of secularism.
Increase of secularism. It is very popular getting very popular among the people today. The secularism and then we understand that you know the deterioration of moral values and it is deteriorating one after the other. We have to understand that the growth of worldly religions and and you know the relaxed religions are coming up and that we have to understand the world world is in crisis today. That is a that is what we understand. But everyone talk about peace. Everyone talk about peace. And then in the in the opening we can see the title is talking about the little on the power of little on and the religious influence of the little horn. I I would say that okay we may study uh maybe whoever interested in these prophecies we can encourage them to study the book of Gurayas Smith and uh and uh any other uh we have publications in our church and they can always go in and study further details about the prophecy 2,300 days prophecy in details and contemporary the relevance we can see the union of religion and the churches uniting together and we will very soon we will be having the conflict of the Sunday and uh and then those who are going to keep and receive the seal the mark of the beast versus god's seal. So these are so many things we can we can mention we don't have time but uh time is getting you know it's it's a it's a sad situation that's why it's like a it's a huge subject we are trying to put it in in a nutshell so >> well to put it in a nutshell Daniel chapter 8 puts uh the sanctuary the cleansing of the sanctuary in prophetic uh perspective that >> it was to be a time that was a revelation of what God is going to do.
Well, in Daniel chapter 2, there is no judgment. Daniel chapter 7, there is a complete delineation of the little horn and it's replaced in the time of the end, the judgment. And now we have the uh the time in which we live lessa which is a time of the judgment before Christ coming. And it's a very serious time for all of us because we live at the time of the end. How many prophets look forward to this time? How many people thought maybe they were living in this time? But we also who live in this time are so interested in uh diversing diverse things to uh perhaps um avoid facing the real reality of our own situation. we're worried too much about what's happening in the world or we're running from it by our amusements and different things by drugs and so forth that we're not facing the real issue that is before us and that is not what other people are doing but what we are doing with the center and that is Jesus Christ in his message message and min ministry in the heavenly sanctuary.
So let's think about our relationship with God which will also help help our relationship with each other and let's give God the glory for all that we have and be more thankful people that we might be alive awake to righteousness and not awake to all the unrighteousness that's going on in the world today. So your final thoughts and a final prayer brother is over to you.
>> Yeah. uh I would say that okay we we should have a Christ centered life and Christ centered life we cannot eliminate the the situation where where Christ is the Christ is in the sanctuary so the Christ centered life should be a sanctuary related life we should be having and he's in the most holy place so we should be suitable to be in the most holy place so that is with him so that is a Christ centered life we to be talking about and uh and the judgment is going on and we have to prepare for that and we have to prepare for his coming and uh you know I like to mention something from the additional study also. I I like to encourage each one to read the entire additional study but and uh I I like to read the final sentence here the from the selected messages book to page 109. It says they are to stand firm as a rock holding the beginning of their confidence steadfast unto the end.
I think this is this should be our wish and this should be our goal. I end with that.
>> I thank you for that quote. It's very important one. And now let's have a closing prayer with you please.
>> Okay. Let's pray. Our most loving gracious father in heaven, we thank you father for this moment that were given to us to study about the truth the sanctuary truth and your mission for us.
Lord help us father to go forward with you in this journey to meet meet together so that we may meet you when you come in the clouds of heaven. Lord bless each one of us. Father help us to understand the times and these prophecies. Help us father to share this gospel and share this share this message with others as well. Be with each one who are studying this uh message and be with all those who are joining us online as well and be with brother Larry in a special way as he's continuing to do this mission of Sabbath school lesson.
Be with all the participants as well.
Lord prepare us father. Help us father to prepare ourselves to meet you. all these mercies and pardon for our sins.
We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
>> Amen.
Well, from my perspective, I want to thank you, brother Francis, for your sharing your thoughts and and your willingness to take the time to lead out in this lesson. We also want to thank brother Omar Monttoo of the General Congress Multimedia Department for making this program possible. And we thank you, our listening students, for joining us. And we look forward to being with you next week for lesson number 22, a delayed explanation. Be a very interesting lesson. And we'll be studying it with the author of these lessons, Sister Markel Orsy. Till then, give glory to God, GGTG, as I like to say, and from all of us here at MRI to you wherever you are. blessed Sabbath day. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all is my prayer. Thank you and God bless you.
>> God bless you too. Thank you.
