Early morning rain 🌧 in Portland || hikers paradise bar & lounge update

[00:00:09]As you can see, we are up by Aika's Paradise and guys, it is raining. Yes.

[00:00:17]So, we've been having, you know, just great sunshine all of last week. Father God decided that today on this beautiful Wednesday morning, I'm going to switch it up and give you guys some rain. Now, we're thankful for every decision where God make in earth, you know. Yeah, man.

[00:00:38]So, as you can see, it's raining.

[00:00:43]It was raining a little bit heavier.

[00:00:44]Now, it's kind of cooling down even though there's still a lot of water.

[00:00:49]See? But yeah, it good for the plants, it good for everything as you can see what going on.

[00:00:57]So this is what happening and also Kev and still um working on the bar and lounge where I still yet to get the ridge cap in as you can see on the roof. We we have not yet got that or got those as yet. But um most of the flooring is already done as you can see.

[00:01:20]So when the rain stops, we're going to take a look at what it looks like. All right. But for now, we're just, you know, looking at the plants getting refreshed in the beautiful rain.

[00:01:46]Look at this. It is raining, raining, raining, raining here in Portland. We are up by Aika's Paradise.

[00:01:59]And as you can see, it's been raining like maybe from about 7 and now it's like 8 8:30 in the morning.

[00:02:14]But you know what? The rain is good for the plants as you can see how beautiful they are. Um, this is why you know Portland always nice and green. Guys, I'm going to show you my pumpkin or pumpkins cuz I saw two of them. I'm going to show you them in a minute. They are getting big. But first, let us take a closer look at our bar and lounge.

[00:02:48]And you can hear the hammer banging.

[00:02:51]Yeah, man. Kevian is out working putting down the floorboards more.

[00:03:01]So, as you can see, we're still yet to get the ridge capping for the roof.

[00:03:11]So, that's why you have water on the platform here. But, you know, soon and very soon we'll get those. And look at my ochre trees flourishing nicely. Guys, you can add this to the sea because of the rain or the mist I should say. But yeah, so this is what it looks like so far. This is the flooring.

[00:04:55]All right, guys. So, the rain give us a little hold up. So, I just want to show you guys the plants. So, starting with the plantings on this side cuz we have some down by the cabin side as well. So, you can see they are coming on nicely.

[00:05:15]This one still not, you know, big, but it's getting there. All right. Um, we are walking down to this side.

[00:05:36]And this is where I see the pumpkin or pumpkins cuz there are two of them and they are getting big.

[00:05:48]I don't know how many of you remember the first time I showed these. But from then, this is what they look like now.

[00:05:57]As you can see, this is one and it is looking so beautiful. All right, the next one is right down here. And you can see it as well. Looking so beautiful.

[00:06:11]So, you know, that's what they look like. I only saw two. I'm not sure if there are any more in in the bushes there, but in time, we will find them. All right. Yeah. And then the plantings, most of them are not yet fit, but you know, they they need a couple more um days or what. This This is the bird nest bird. Woo! The mama bird was in there, guys. I didn't even see him. All right, so we don't want to get too close, but I want to see if there's eggs. Yeah, there are two eggs, guys. I can see I don't know if they're two, but I can see two from where I am. If you look good, you see like those like a blue color. That's the egg right there. Yeah, nighting gale. I'm not going to go too close cuz I don't want to spook them for too long.

[00:07:18]But yeah, there there are eggs in there.

[00:07:25]So we're going to walk away from there and I think them have enough time so the plant can get me fit by the time them them ready for hatch out you know.

[00:07:42]So yeah.

[00:07:49]All right. So, all the plantings on this side, they are small. I think they're smaller than the ones on the other side where the cabin is.

[00:08:01]So, we going to go back this way and we going to check on the other side where the cabin is to see if those ones are bigger. Oh, think we need I need to take a closer look at this one cuz this one looks big. Almost like it ready to cut.

[00:08:30]If you can see it. See, I think it can take another two weeks though or another week. So, I'm going to keep a close eye on that one.

[00:08:42]Mhm.

[00:08:44]But yeah, this is where the pumpkin and the sweet potato is.

[00:08:58]So most of what you're seeing here is not actually bush, but it's sweet potato. You have one and two like Spanish nagle bush in the mix, but mostly sweet potato. And you can see the pumpkin coming in. Now, um when my brother forward to finish weed up the place, I'm going to let him like leave a patch until you know those pumpkins are fit cuz you know them kind of protect the pumpkin from the sun and thing. Yeah. But you can see how clean him actually, you know, weeding the place. Not just chopping off the bush top, but it is actually super clean.

[00:09:46]All right. The rain is coming back down, so I need to get some shelter. But before it catch me, I want to take a look at these ones.

[00:09:58]Yeah, I'm looking at it from the opposite side, guys. So maybe you're not seeing it properly. So, I think I have to go down on the steps of the cabin and show you guys. So, anyways, stay tuned.

[00:10:17]All right, guys. So, as we take a look down to the cabin side, you can see remember the papaya tree. Yeah, it's blossoming nicely as you can see. Here's the cabin looking beautiful. Now, I have some furniture here that need to go up to the pink house. Um, I go again two side bedside table and uh bedded. Yeah. All right. And these are the plantings now from this side as you can see. And before I even show you the rest of the plantings, you can just see um Yeah, man.

[00:11:05]Get this pine field clean out back and thing. Yeah. And I see a pepper tree growing there.

[00:11:14]I'm not sure what type of pepper it is, but hopefully some good hot pepper scene. Yeah, cuz it kind of confusing with the blood pepper and the hot pepper them. So, I'm just hoping that it's some scotch bonnet. But yeah, this one, this papa tree is really close to the the staircase, but I don't know.

[00:11:40]All right, take a look at the planting.

[00:11:42]So, that's one. And you can see two right here. And then next one the behind. So, that's uh 1 2 3 four right here in this line. Starting here. One, two, three. And then one the behind.

[00:11:58]That make four. Then you have two more here. Make six. And then one here. Make seven. And you can see how beautiful they are looking.

[00:12:12]Yeah. And every now and then, father god just show them rain and get them nice and watered.

[00:12:22]This now you call this a non tree. Yeah.

[00:12:26]Good for like if you have belly thing, you just put them to drain when them ripe or you can pick them like when them white like these ones put them in a bag make them drain naturally and then the juice now you can drink it. I think it's the same thing them used to make what is called immunogizer. All right. And then we have some small papaya tree coming up alongside here as well. Yeah.

[00:13:02]See what them do banana tree them. So need to find the owner cuz plant them. See, look what them do.

[00:13:18]All right, so this is what it looks like from here. Pink house up there. Coming back to the bar and lounge right here as you can see. Coming on nicely. Yeah, man. Most of the flooring already done.

[00:13:39]And we have a small patch of cocoa. We need to um get someone to come clean up them board and pack them up. So all of these pieces of board, clean them up, pack them up zinc here and thing. But I see that shortly still. Yeah. This garden tree. That's again.

[00:14:03]All right. And then we have a nice source of tree.

[00:14:07]Yeah.

[00:14:19]So, we only have the front section of the wood off. I'm going to go to the hardware today. See if we can get the the rest of board and ridge capping.

[00:14:33]We're taking a look at my ochre trees.

[00:14:36]You can see how beautiful they actually is actually bearing already.

[00:14:42]But they only have one. So we not even bother pick it. Me just leave it. Make this one get big and dry so you can plant it out back again. Now over this side we have more more ocha trees as you can see. And also we have some pepper but I'm not sure if these are boiled pepper or they are hot pepper.

[00:15:06]I'm not sure what type of pepper it is.

[00:15:08]So, we just have to just wait and see if they're going to bear. This is another one. And then this is another small one. Now, the thing is why I'm not even sure what type of pepper it is because we're always cooking right here. As you can see, there's a fireside right there. So, chances are it can be hot pepper as well as can be bud pepper.

[00:15:33]Who knows? We have some more pine. We have more peppers as well. As you can see right there, normally the bell pepper leaf them fine, but when them young and just a grow, they leave them can be big and then them stretch out. So, we're not sure. Wow.

[00:15:53]More here as well. Two more.

[00:15:58]As you can see, pepper, but not sure what type. We have one more.

[00:16:05]We have a next small non tree right here.

[00:16:09]Mhm.

[00:16:11]And the rest are planting them going back that side.

[00:16:16]And you can see how beautiful they are.

[00:16:32]So all of them zinc need to pick them up cuz them very sharp and pop them one side until we move them permanently.

[00:17:07]So, down in there. So, now we're going to level it off and there's going to be a little powder room. So, not not a full bathroom, but you know, just a sink and toilet bowl.

[00:17:24]So that's what's going to take place there. And then this is how it looks from this side.

[00:17:36]So now I am going to walk and I am going to go down by project X. I'm not even sure if they're going to be work today.

[00:17:46]Well, um what was supposed to happen is that the man them planned for go on grave digging. However, um Danny Jed did say him go forward today. So, we say all right, work is going to um take place. But then again the rains come down and you know them want them little rain. It's like I don't know but the time is now minutes to 9:00. So I'm going down by the site and I'm almost sure that work is not going to be going on down by the site. But you know let's let's check to make sure. All right. So, this is just a quick little update on the bar and lounge. You're going to see more of the building process as we, you know, work to finish, but we need to get the other materials ready like the ridge capping and the rest of B them cuz I really that I roll up the thing for now.
