The video effectively critiques the absurdity of treating sovereign territory as a real estate deal, illustrating how such geopolitical hubris leads to both diplomatic failure and domestic political collapse. It serves as a stark warning that transactional diplomacy is no match for the fundamental right of self-determination.

Trump GREENLAND attack Goes OFF THE RAILS!追加:
Thought the Greenland operation was over. Think again. The US is opening a new consulate in Greenland's capital today.
>> Greenlanders greet the opening of a new US consulate with protests. Still feeling the threat of US President Donald Trump's designs on their island.
>> The purpose is to make the American people understand that Greenland is a democratic country and that no means no.
It's very unpleasant to witness this violent rhetoric where military actions are not taken off the table.
>> Greenland is sending Donald Trump a pretty clear message, AND THAT IS, >> OH, HELL NO.
>> OH, HELL NO.
>> THAT'S RIGHT. It's not maybe or let's negotiate or come back with a better offer. It's simply no, they're not interested. Greenland is for Greenlanders. Now, according to the Wall Street Journal, Trump's envoy to Greenland, Louisiana, Governor Jeff Landry received a quote, "Chili reception on his first trip to the island." Yeah, I'm going to chuckle a little bit at Chile. Come on. Low hanging fruit is still fruit after all.
The Journal reported that Landry traveled to Greenland as Trump's appointed envoy, trying to quote, "Make friends and expand US influence." But the visit was protested and heavily criticized by Greenlandic and Danish officials as an attempt to bypass official diplomatic channels while talks are already underway between the US, Denmark, and Greenland about America's presence on the island. Hold on, hold on, hold on a second. Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you all something.
When's the last time that any highlevel diplomats came to Greenland, whether it's from Europe or not, before Donald Trump?
>> Well, that's just more about you.
>> No, NO, NO. THAT'S NOT NO. And that's a question that Greenlanders should ask themselves. And who cares more about Greenlanders than the Trump administration and the president?
Because seemingly before the president, no one cared. But why don't you build relations rather than just come without invitation?
Governor, >> you came without invitation.
>> Wait, wait a minute. Well, let me ask you a question. If you showed up in Louisiana, do and I'm not going to throw you out because you weren't invited. I mean, no. This This place was open. This is This conference is open to the public. Govern's been great.
>> Really?
>> Yeah. Meeting go with the prime minister yesterday?
>> I thought it went great.
>> Really?
>> Yeah. Why you think it went bad?
>> No, I'm curious. What did you guys discuss? Um, we just discussed the opportunities that we had. I I flat out asked them, you know, what were the issues uh with the United States and the relationship between Green and the United States before the president and and you know what they were they >> you know what the prime minister what when I got out of that meeting I got out of the meeting that before Donald Trump the United States was ignoring Greenland.
>> Thank you.
>> And Greenland does they're saying it pretty publicly which they did throughout his visit. The Guardian reported that hundreds of people protested outside the opening of a new US consulate after Landry said it was time for the US to quote put its footprint back on Greenland. Protesters held up numerous signs saying things like stop USA and they shouted go home.
Now Greenland's prime minister and many Greenlandic politicians notably boycotted the consulate opening. And this just capped off a disaster week for the Trump envoy in on the island basically with the organizer of the protest stating quote, "Our government already told Donald Trump and his administration that Greenland is not for sale." But this is Trump we're talking about since when has no ever meant no to him. Now the backlash is not just about one visit, right? It's about what Greenlanders think the visit represents.
The Daily Beast had reported that protesters in Nuke accused the United States consulate of this being a quote MAGA Trojan horse, a way to expand America's influence in the territory under the language of diplomacy while Trump continues to pursue his long-standing intention to acquire Greenland. And this is not just a few activists, right? The opposition is overwhelming across the country. It has been reported that upwards of 85% of locals oppose US annexation of Greenland. Some other sources have put it above 75%. I mean that should end the discussion, right? It's an overwhelming majority of people who live in Greenland who just don't want to be part of the United States. And Greenlandic leaders who have also spoke out about this on numerous occasions, they've been pretty direct. If you look at the prime minister, he has emphasized that Greenlandic self-determination is a non-negotiable and that discussions must take place through proper channels.
Keep going.
Turn your back.
Keep your back.
Keep it relax.
Keep doing tonight.
tonight. I ask you tonight >> and the thing is here in the United States where most Americans are probably wondering when the president is going to shift his focus to help them afford to live rather than all his attention on Iran or Greenland or his big beautiful ballroom. They vehemently oppose any plans to acquire the foreign territory and have made that abundantly clear when it came to Trump's first, second, and 12th comments around acquiring the island.
>> Did you see Europe is now drafting a program and plan to open up the Hormoo Strait without the United States? Uh, they're so sad. We're doing it now. By the way, it's opening. The ships are coming back and forth. Oh, without the United States. It just shows you how can you have a country, how can you have a group of countries with that attitude?
Look at Greenland. We should have Greenland to protect the world against Russia and China. the mention of it. All of a sudden they get you, this country should not be paying trillions of dollars to NATO.
>> So while Greenland's message could not be clearer, neither could the message be from Americans.
>> You mentioned the Republican base in your intro and then obviously there's the Democratic opposition. But what about those who didn't cast a ballot at all in 2024? Those who didn't show up to vote. Well, they have become absolutely perturbed. I dare say they are pissed off at the president of the United States. Voters who didn't cast a ballot in 2024. Trump's net approval rating back in November of 2024, just after the election, look at his net approval rating. It was plus four points for his plans in office. But look at that. It is fall. Yeah, there you go, Sarah Seidner.
That's the only sound you can make. It has fallen through the floor. Look at this. minus 50 points on Trump's net approval rating among voters who did not in fact cast the ballot in 2024. That is, you don't have to be a mathematical genius, an over 50 point move against the president of the United States among those who are kind of like me, you know, in terms of voting in 2024. But now they are pissed off.
>> Well, and that's the thing. It the turnout can have a huge impact on who wins a race. give us some sense of why why people are in this position. And I can kind of guess, but I'll I'll let you tell us the numbers.
>> Tell I'll tell you the numbers. I mean, look, anyone who's been following these segments, anyone who knows anything about American politics knows it's the economy. It is the economy smarty pants in terms of Sarah Sidner. And you can just see it here. I mean, view of Trump in the economy. Again, among voters who did not cast a vote in 2024, in November of 2024, 60% 60% were confident in Trump to make good decisions when it came to the economy. But again, this number has just absolutely plummeted. Look at his approval rating now on the economy among those who didn't cast a ballot in 2024.
It's 19%. It's only a third a third of those who were confident back in November of 2024. Again, we are just talking about numbers that are falling through the basement. If if you hire the carpenters who built Donald Trump's floor in this, you shouldn't have.
>> Um, so Trump isn't actually on the ballot technically, but Republicans certainly are. Is this going to have an impact, you think, on them?
>> Yes, absolutely. This is the key question because it's not just about persuasion. It's about turnout, baby.
It's about turnout. And these folks are not just pissed off and want to vote Democratic. A lot of them are actually very likely to vote. Okay? Voters who didn't cast a ballot in 2024, their 2026 choice for the House. Look at this.
Democrats are winning amongst them by 31 points and 48% of them are either very likely or almost certain to vote in the midterm elections. So, this is a group I'd really be paying a lot of attention on because the reason why Democrats are doing so well on the generic ballot is in large part among those who stayed home in 2024. Many of them will vote in 2026 and they won't be voting Republican. They'll be voting Democratic because truth is they're just pissed off at the president of the United States.
>> We expect to see some potentially big numbers. I mean, judging from this at the polls or voters numbers when it comes to the the midterms, >> when you're when you're perturbed, you turn out to vote. Harry Anton, we turn out to hear you every morning, no matter what. You're welcome.
>> You know what? You don't have to have very good hearing to hear me.
>> That is true. You don't need a mic.
>> They want to be able to afford gas. They want to not watch as the president seeks to obtain almost $2 billion to offer insurrectionists a retirement fund and just try to make the cost of living in the United States somewhat manageable.
