Fast food chains are engaging in a competitive 'burger war' where CEOs promote their products through viral taste test videos, with each chain attempting to outdo the others by showcasing their burgers' unique qualities—McDonald's introduced the Big Arch with two patties and new sauce, Wendy's emphasized fresh never-frozen beef, Burger King revamped the Whopper with a new bun and mayo, KFC joined with a chicken sandwich, and Freddy's highlighted their charred burger flavor. The video demonstrates how these marketing campaigns use celebrity endorsements and taste tests to build brand hype and differentiate products in a competitive market.

I Tested Which Fast Food CEO Was LyingAdded:
Fast food CEOs are in a full-blown burger war right now. Like, some of them look like they were eating their own food for the very first time. All right.
Well, here's a fast food feud that is heating up. All the biggest burger chains are fighting for our business, rolling out new options, changing up recipes. They're even even starting beef with each other.
>> So, today I'm recreating every bite to figure out which fast food CEO is actually telling the truth. To kick off this journey, we have to start where it all began. McDonald's. And unfortunately, our first suspect is the man who started this entire fast food civil war. Chris K here with You've heard about it. Here it is. The Big Arch. First of all, let's try to get this thing. I don't even know how to attack it. Got so much to it. All right, the moment of truth.
That is so good. Were you capping?
>> Apparently, this is the most McDonald's burger ever. It features two 4 oz beef patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese, onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, and a tangy new Big Arch sauce, all served on a unique bun topped with both sesame and poppy seeds. And it's limited time only.
>> What can I get for you?
>> Do y'all have the Big Arch?
>> Um, no sir.
>> No. Are y'all done with that?
>> Yes, sir. Okay, let me get um let me do a Big Mac, please.
>> The milk or just a sandwich?
>> Just a sandwich. Can I get two of those?
>> Yes.
>> Thank you.
>> That's it. The food has been acquired.
Here's how I'm going to do this. Every burger is getting scored based on one bite because apparently that's all these CEOs needed to risk their company's reputation. One bite rules them all.
Mhm.
I can tell you one thing, this burger dry. I left everything on it. I see why he made that face. It wasn't cuz the the product isn't good. It was just dry. I'm going to have to go with a two out of five.
>> I did not like that. And then the the aftertaste that I still have in my mouth is lingering.
>> If this is how the fast food CEO's war started, we might be in trouble. So, we're at spot number two, Wendy's.
Wendy's claims that their meat is always fresh, never frozen. I've been waiting for this all day. Wendy's fresh, never frozen beef. Our square burger cooked on a flat grill. Amazing. Absolutely wonderful.
That's a burger. Got to top it off with a fries and frosty.
Excellent. And then not only that, Wendy's was inviting fans to be their first ever CTO. And clearly this video shows I missed that deadline.
>> Yeah. Can I get a Dave's double >> combo or a sandwich?
>> Uh combo.
>> Uh let me just get a Coke and then can I get a Frosty?
>> You too. Appreciate it. Off the rip, this burger looks way more appetizing than the Big Mac. Is the CO lied to us or not? Let's find out.
It wasn't dry. Little juicy.
All right. Sorry about that, y'all. My camera overheated, so I had to give it some time to cool down. But what I was saying was I left it as is. As you I took two bites. That's how good it was.
Juicy. It was moist. And I got to do this, too. I bought a chocolate frosty and some fries because that's what the CEO said to do. Do a little dunkage. And then now I know my face says otherwise, but out of 34 years of living, why have I never done that? Wendy's might just have changed my life just a little bit. I'm going to have to give Wendy's a solid 3.5. Shout out to Wendy's. They finally gave me hope again, but now it's time for the loudest clapback of this entire Civil War. Spot number three, Burger King. Now, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure Burger King was the first of the fast food chains to clap back at McDonald's viral video.
>> How's the Mayo different? like >> it's richer. It's got more body and I think it stands up to the ingredients much better.
>> Not bad, right?
>> Only one thing missing. A napkin.
>> Burger King, don't come out here clap backing. And the product, the food ain't good. Now, let's be real. These CEOs aren't hopping on camera for no reason.
This is all marketing at its finest.
Fast food chains are using these taste test videos to make their brands feel more human online and build hype around new menu items. And for Burger King, well, they picked the perfect time to join the conversation because they just revamped the Whopper for the first time in almost a decade. New bun, creamier mayo, even a new box so the burger doesn't get folded like a lawn chair before you eat it.
Can I get a Whopper, please?
>> Just one Whopper?
>> Just one Whopper.
>> All right, come on around.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Thank you so much. You have a good weekend.
>> All right. You, too.
>> Thank you. Whopper acquired. So, right off the rip, it looks better than McDonald's again. Left it as is. Whopper one. Look at that bite.
Solid bite. I like this more than I like McDonald's, but I don't like it more than I like the Wendy's. Even with a second bite of reassurance, yeah, I'm going to give Burger King's Whopper a three. Burger King talked a big game, but this next CEO might have the most dangerous confidence of them all. All right, we switching it up for this one.
KFC. Now, I saw the video.
>> Could be just me, but I've been seeing a lot of CEOs talking about burgers lately. Well, good for them. But at KFC, we'll leave that beef to the boys.
>> Now, that is a good sandwich.
>> Dude, I don't really eat KFC. It's so greasy. I like Popeyes, man. I Why couldn't Popeye's do something like this? Yes. Can I get the uh number 15 sandwich, please? Just Just a sandwich.
It shouldn't be long on fillets, though.
It should be anywhere between like 5 to 10 minutes.
>> That's fine. Apparently, the chicken sandwich has to be the most popular item at this KFC because I was a form. There were no fillets ready. So, instead of waiting 10 minutes, the cook used chicken tenders instead. Sandwich acquired. I don't like pickles on my chicken sandwich, on any type of chicken sandwiches, but I left it as is. So, here we go.
Y'all not going to believe what I'm about to say. I'm putting this at a 42.
This is I got to get another bite.
I'm not a fan of the pickle, but I'm so glad they joined the the CEO bite challenge. Man, excuse me while I tear this chicken sandwich up.
Oh boy, that was good. But everything now comes down to this last bite. For the last stop of this challenge, we're at Freddy's. I have never been to Freddy's before. I think it's like Culver's. I've never been to Culver's before. So, this one will be more like a blind tasting for me because I never had it. I looked at the comment section in that video and the reviews, the comments look positive.
>> CEO eating his burger like he does all the time.
Oh, so good. The Freddy's original double is a classic, but the triple, that's what's up.
>> I love that Freddy.
>> Yes. Can I get the Freddy's original double, please? Have a good day.
Freddy's acquired. Here we go.
It's a lot of cheese on that. Oo. I don't I'm not going to eat off of that side. I'm just I'm going to eat it off this side.
Oh, no. Freddy's was excited to accept this challenge.
I can taste the char on this burger. I like this. I'm so mad that Freddy's is almost 30 minutes away from me. And I don't really like the condiments, but the condiments is playing really well with the charred flavor. I'm going to go four or five on Freddy's. After all the clapbacks, the viral videos, and the dramatic bites, the CEO who trusted their food the most was the one who acted like they didn't have anything to prove. tacos.
>> I mean, look, he's the only CEO who spawned the block in his video, but I can tell you one thing. McDonald's. We got to try again in Q3.
>> That's a big bite for a big arch. It's distinctively McDonald's.
>> Well, I came here judging CEOs bites and somehow I left Cravens. Anyway, click this next video YouTube has lined up for you. I promise the bites get bigger.
