Evil Is Not a Thing — It's the Absence of God

[00:00:22]This is probably the best answer I've ever heard to the question, "Why did God create evil?"

[00:00:30]A professor at the university asked his students the following question.

[00:00:35]"Everything that exists was created by God?"

[00:00:38]One student bravely answered, "Yes, it was created by God."

[00:00:43]The professor then asked, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since it exists.

[00:00:50]And according to the principle that our deeds define ourselves, then God is evil."

[00:00:56]The student became silent after hearing such an answer.

[00:01:00]The professor was very pleased with himself. He boasted to the students for proving once again that faith in God is a myth.

[00:01:09]Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question, professor?"

[00:01:14]"Of course," replied the professor. "Professor, is a is cold a thing?"

[00:01:21]"What kind of question is that? Of course it exists. Have you ever been cold?"

[00:01:26]Students laughed at the young man's question.

[00:01:29]The young man answered, "Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist.

[00:01:35]According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is actually the absence of heat.

[00:01:41]A person or object can be studied on whether it has or transmits energy.

[00:01:48]Absolute zero, minus 460° Fahrenheit, is the complete absence of heat.

[00:01:56]All matter, inert and unable to react at this temperature.

[00:02:01]Cold does not exist. We created this word to describe what we feel in the absence of heat.

[00:02:09]The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?" "Of course it exists."

[00:02:14]said the professor. "Well, you're wrong again, sir. Darkness also does not exist. Darkness is actually the absence of light.

[00:02:23]We can study the light, but not the darkness. We can use Newton's prism to spread white light across multiple colors and explore the different wavelengths of each color.

[00:02:35]You can't measure darkness.

[00:02:38]A simple ray of light can break into the world of darkness and illuminate it.

[00:02:43]How can you tell how dark a certain space is?

[00:02:47]You measure how much light is presented.

[00:02:52]Isn't it so?

[00:02:53]Darkness is a term man uses to describe what happens in the absence of light.

[00:02:58]In the end, the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

[00:03:03]This time, it was uncertain.

[00:03:05]The professor answered, "Of course, as I said before, we see him every day. Cruelty, numerous crimes and violence throughout the world. These examples are nothing but a manifestation of evil."

[00:03:20]So, to this the student answered, "Evil does not exist, sir. Or at least it does not exist for itself.

[00:03:28]Evil is simply the absence of God.

[00:03:32]It is like darkness and cold, a man-made word to describe the absence of God.

[00:03:39]God did not create evil.

[00:03:42]Evil is not faith or love, which exist as light and warmth.

[00:03:48]Evil is the result of the absence of divine love in the human heart.

[00:03:53]It's the kind of cold that comes when there is no heat or the kind of darkness that comes when there is no light.
