Multiplicación 2 números arriba y 1 abajo - Superfacil - Para principiantesAdded:
What's up? I hope you are doing well. My name is Daniel Carreón and today we'll see one of my favorite topics.
Multiplication. Two numbers up and one down. But before we begin, let's review some basic concepts. Let 's start with the parts of multiplication. Here we have 12 * 4 = 48. The position that the 12 occupies is called the multiplicand. It is the number that is multiplied by another in a multiplication operation. This is the multiplication sign. It is represented by an x and is read as "times." The position occupied by the number four is called the multiplier.
It is the number by which the other is multiplied. And the position occupied by the number 48 is called the product. It is the result of multiplication. Let's continue looking at basic concepts. Here we have the number 34. The number on the right corresponds to the units place and the number on the left corresponds to the tens place. The number is 34, that's four units and three tens. Now, let's look at some exercises.
Here we have 34 * 2. First we will multiply the 2 by the units. 2 * 4 gives us 8. And we will multiply by the tens. 2 * 3 gives us 6. Our resulting product is 68. Super easy, right?
Here we have 32 * 3. Let's first multiply the 3 by the units. 3 * 2 gives us 6 and 3 * 3 gives us 9. Our result or product is 96. Super easy, right?
Now we have 51 * 4. Let's multiply the 4 by the units. 4 * 1 gives us 4.
Now by the tens place, 4 * 5 gives us 20.
Our result or product is 204.
Super easy, right? Now we have 71 * 6. You know, we multiply 6 by the units digit, which is 1. 6 * 1 gives us 6. And when we multiply 6 by the tens digit, which is 7, 6 * 7 gives us 42. Our result or product is 426.
Super easy, right? Now we have 95 * 3. That gives us 15. We leave the 5 down here and put the 1 up here. Now we multiply 3 * 9, which gives us 27 + this 1 makes 28. Our result or product is 285.
Super easy, right? Now we have 89 * 6, we multiply 6 * 9 which gives us 54.
We leave the 4 down here and put the 5 up here. 6 * 8 gives us 48 + 5, the product result is 534.
Super easy, right? Now we have 76 * 5. That gives us 30. We put the zero and the 3 up here. 5 * 7 gives us 35 + these three are 38. Our result or product is 380.
Super easy, right? Here we have 99 * 9. Multiplying 9 * 9 gives us 81. The 1 stays down here and the 8 goes up here. 9 * 9 gives us 81 + 89.
Our product result is 891.
Super easy, right?
Now we have 10 * 4. 4 * 0 gives us 0 and 4 * 1 gives us 4. Our result or product is 40. Super easy, right?
Next, I'm going to give you some exercises. Will you be able to solve them? I look forward to seeing your response in the comments.
