[00:00:00]Let's take a look at what you're at right now. 72° over at Camp Mabry. Winds are calm, but look at that humidity.

[00:00:08]That's one of the reasons why we're dealing with some fog outside right now.

[00:00:13]Excuse me, temperatures for the afternoon expected to move back up into the 80s, around 89° in Austin.

[00:00:19]Everywhere else expected around that 87 to 89° mark. I don't see any 90s on here, but don't be surprised if some of you actually make it up there. So, this is what satellite and radar looks like.

[00:00:29]Again, we had a few showers a bit farther up past San Saba and Lampasas.

[00:00:33]They kind of built up within the metro area before they died off. Now we're only watching what's a bit farther south. You get to Fayette County and Caldwell County, and that's where we have a few showers that are left over. But notice no lightning, so I'm not going to call them thunderstorms, but Luling into an area that's not in our viewing area. And then as you go down to Flatonia, which is in our viewing area, they do have a few showers crossing I-10. But once those go, that's it. I don't expect to see any more rainfall. In fact, this is what one of our models, our HRRR model, is showing, which is clouds are going to clear out, fog is going to clear out, and we're going to be left with mostly clear skies, sunny by the afternoon before clouds build up. But this is what I'm watching now. This is the latest update that's come out of the Storm Prediction Center, and as you can tell, we have an update now for and San Saba, Lampasas, Mason, Llano, and even Burnet County now within a category three out of five, which means the conditions are ripe for the taking for severe storms to pick up. Slight category for most of our viewing area, and then one out of five, which is marginal, for the lower half.

[00:01:38]So, what does that mean for you? All right, well, tornadoes unlikely. I don't think that's going to be an issue, but it's a possibility. Look at the rest of this. And those are some bright colors that we're seeing here. Hail as a elevated risk, even enhanced risk in San Saba and Lampasas, and then winds up to 60 mph, meaning it is very possible that we're going to get if we get a severe storm or if we get a storm, it could become severe. So, let's start the clock here at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, play this out a bit more. There's the front as it starts to approach. Sunday, 5:00 p.m.

[00:02:10]You're noticing the winds are starting to shift as the storm starts to take shape, move through San Saba. As we get to 7:00 p.m., here comes that storm that starts to make its way through within the metro counties first, especially early in the evening. You get to about that 7:00 p.m. mark. Here comes that front, here comes that storm. It pushes through by 10:00 p.m. Now within Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Lee counties. And then as we get to the overnight hours, it finally pushes through. Cooler air filters in, cloud coverage remains, but rain chances are pretty much done at that point. In fact, as you look past that, no more rainfall Monday all the way through Friday. So, that's going to be our major risk here.

[00:02:46]So, Sunday itself will still mark up at 93° for Mother's Day, partly cloudy early with rain chances late, of course.

[00:02:54]As we look at your 7-day forecast, 89 for today, 93 for tomorrow. Front comes in, we're in the 80s for Monday, Tuesday, but then we start to move back to 89 by Wednesday, 89° by Thursday, and 90° by Friday. Let's take a look at sports.
