[00:00:27]Suppose we are given a number like 10,000 which is a base number and we have to subtract 7,483 from this. Now students tend to make mistake in borrowing from the previous number, right? So here you can see we have four zeros and here you have four digits. So what do you need to do is just keep on subtracting every digit from nine and the last digit is to be subtracted from 10. That is called all from nine, last from 10. So 9 minus 7, 2. 9 minus 4, 5. 9 minus 8, 1. And 10 minus 3, 7 which is the difference. Now suppose the same number 10,000 and this time we have to subtract a number in hundreds like suppose 824.

So we will put a zero here which doesn't change the number but equalizes the number of digits here equal to the number of zeros here. Now do the same thing.
