AI agents should be designed to be lean and efficient, as excessive instructions, resources, and documents consume valuable context window space before the user prompt, potentially limiting the AI's ability to accomplish tasks effectively.

AI Agents Can Get Overloaded TooAdded:
Agent instructions is where we take a lot of information and jam it into the agent. This is really nice because it makes it really easy and I recommend it for a lot of scenarios.
However, generally speaking, it's not a good idea. And the reason it's not a good idea is because it takes up a lot of the context window even before you get started.
So, instead, we make it so our agents are nice and lean. So, it's okay to give it a little bit of information, but if you are tempted to give it an incredible number of resources and script files and documents and on and on it goes. Now, all of a sudden, you've made it so before you even get to the user prompt, you have potentially taken away the the the scope of what the AI can accomplish because you've made the window so small for the user.
