[00:00:13]T-Mobile 5G Advanced Network achieves world's first with Ericsson AI RAN innovation. So T-Mobile has the technology piece down. I think everybody's understand that.

[00:00:24]Um has understood that up until this point and I think this just drives the innovation in the technology even forward even more now that T-Mobile has that technology lead when AT&T and Verizon are still in the middle of building out their mid-band. T-Mobile's already moving towards other innovation.

[00:00:46]So Ericsson and T-Mobile have moved AI native scheduler with link adaption into large-scale commercial trials on the live 5G Advanced Network traffic representing continued progress in 5G Advanced and AI native AI native radio access network RAN.

[00:01:02]This innovation software uses a neutral network running directly on the Ericsson TCO optimized hardware to predict rapidly changing radio conditions in real-time, improving spectral efficiency and boosting download data rates to deliver a more consistent customer experience.

[00:01:20]Which in the later half of 5G is going to become very important as you start noticing slowdowns as we've seen T-Mobile slow down. Now they're bringing even more spectral efficiency back into the network. So during trials with T-Mobile, the AI native scheduler with link adaption feature achieved close to 10% increase in spectral efficiency and up to 15% boost in downlink throughput compared to legacy rule-based methods. So 15% can be a lot. That can be a scenario where the network doesn't work and now it does work again for the customer.

[00:01:56]Where if you're in a tight spot and now you're you're getting just that little bit more juice so you can complete your task and stream your video without any buffer.

[00:02:06]That's the difference 15% could make in in in terms of boost and downlink.

[00:02:18]This is T-Mobile demonstrating that they want to continue to lead in the technology world and still be innovative at the same time.

[00:02:28]Verizon and AT&T had very little talks about AI-RAN and and perhaps moving into that because both of them are still focused on building mid-band.

[00:02:39]Bringing SA on air, bringing voice over NR. They're still they're still in the middle of doing that when T-Mobile has already achieved that and T-Mobile is now moving towards the the deeper part of 5G advanced and then into 6G and with this T-Mobile achieves a world first.

[00:02:57]Apparently this has not been done anywhere else in the world and T-Mobile is first to it. So interesting to see T-Mobile continuing to innovate, continuing to try and stay ahead of the of the competition on technology and I think they have that on lock. I I don't think there's anything at this point that Verizon and AT&T can do.

[00:03:16]I don't think there's anything they can do right now. I think T-Mobile's going to have to technology lead. Now what T-Mobile needs to do is they need to close this coverage gap.

[00:03:25]They need to continue building sites quietly if they want, whatever they need to do, they need to build sites, which they're doing. We see it on Reddit, we see people talk about it. And that that way they can close that coverage gap once and for all.

[00:03:40]And be done with it. I think honestly I think T-Mobile is a little bit ahead of what the data shows in regards to the build out. Um not close enough yet to where the competition is today.

[00:03:51]But I think they're further along than what some of the data shows on coverage map and stuff. Like, some people haven't gone to these areas to map them. So, I think I do think T-Mobile is further along in on that front. Still not where Verizon and AT&T are today, but they're getting close. They're getting close.

[00:04:07]And I think this year next year that they're just going to get closer and closer as time goes on. And And while that happens, they move forward in the technology piece. So, into those areas where there's coverage gaps, T-Mobile often times they go from from worst to first. And then when they go from worst to first, they bring the most modernized network in the entire country.

[00:04:29]It's going to be SA, voice over NR. It's going to have possibly already this this Ericsson AI ran in on the 5G Advanced Network. It's going to have everything. So, that's what you can expect as T-Mobile continues to build out. If If they're building out in areas where Verizon and AT&T are not modernized yet, maybe no mid-band, I mean, T-Mobile's going to go from worst to first very, very quickly.
