Since air raids weren't working, they took an old destroyer, disguised as a German ship, and sailed it straight into the enemy port.
The British rammed the dry dock, and then nothing happened.
The Germans laughed, thinking the British were crazy, until 10 hours later when the ship's hidden explosives detonated.
This kept the dry dock unusable for the rest of the war.
