The Platinum Rule is a higher degree of care than the Golden Rule. While the Golden Rule states 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' (which assumes others need what you need), the Platinum Rule takes the extra degree of care to ask what others like and need, and do unto them the way they want to be done unto. This principle emphasizes that effective ministry and relationships require taking the time to understand individual needs rather than making assumptions, which is particularly important when serving reactive people who try to control their circumstances.

I will lift up my eyes unto the hills.
From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved. He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper. The Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The Son shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil. He shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve our going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even forever more.

Pray over it with me. Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you for the seed that you have put into our hands. God, we lift it in faith knowing that you are a God who cannot lie. And God, if you said you would do it, we know that you will. God, we know that we are sewing into good ground, God, that you're going to cause a harvest to come into our lives. This seed may leave our hands, but we know that it will never leave our life. And God, we give you praise even in advance for what you're going to do. God, I thank you for each giver. And I speak a blessing over their life that there shall be a return that is spoken of in the word that as they sew into ministry, a word will come forth that will empower, inspire, uplift, and strengthen them, God. That you will cause change in their life that they will live to see.
And we claim victory in the name of Jesus. Everybody say amen and amen.

>> Hallelujah.
>> You didn't work for it.
>> Hallelujah. Before you even got here tonight, before I knew that you were going to even be here, I had already decided to give it.
>> I hope y'all are listening.
>> This is why people don't receive the gift of the Holy Ghost is because they don't understand it's a gift.
>> They did nothing but present themselves.
The only thing they had to do was to get up and come here. It was already decided that they would be a recipient.
[clears throat] I just tried to work them through it to teach you a lesson how to do it.
>> Hallelujah.
>> This is a part of the great commission.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah.
Everybody say shift.
>> Shift.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah. Now, now, now you got to help me with this. Praise the Lord. I should have got some here.
>> Here.
>> He said thank you.
>> But even knowing that it was a gift, did you see him hesitate?
We have a problem receiving >> when it's just a gift as if we need to work for it.
Our culture has not taught us to be able to receive gifts even from God.
Most times when I have done this demonstration, I say here and and I don't go through all of this. I just said here and they look at me and say what? And I say here and they look at me and said why? I said here. And then they said what is this for? I didn't do anything to get this.
>> And I said it's a gift.
[applause] Even in the islands, we have the same culture that when someone tries to get us something, we check ourselves out to see if we're worthy of it.
>> You'll never receive what God has for you if you're trying to make yourself worthy. That's why it's called a gift.
>> We've done it down through the years.
When I was a child, my grandparents and parents would tell me, "I will give you something if you for Christmas if you're good."
>> Anybody ever heard that? You're good, you're going to get something for Christmas.
>> Anybody heard it?
>> That's a reward.
>> That's not a gift.
>> That's a payment.
>> Hallelujah.
>> That may be an exchange. That's wagering. We have Now, now, now I understand we're living in the age of entitlement. And some of these little wonderful ones, they'll take everything you got whether you going to give it to them or not. I do understand that. But I'm not talking I'm trying to talk about foundational things that that is embedded in the great commission. When God sent them out, he sent them out full of gifts to give gifts to the world so that the world could become one again.
And these children are our witness that we've been getting this wrong for ages because they are the result. They are the product of what we've taught them.
>> We have not taught them to be aggressive for the things of God the way we should.
>> Yes, sir.
We've taught them to be more >> guarded.
>> Hallelujah.
So, so little darling over there with putting little puffs on your head. Love, >> I don't know. Do you know this young man?
Well, you be you better have his back for the rest of the week. Hallelujah.
Cuz he said he going to share it with you now. Now he he got 50. We said 50 in the States. He got 50 >> $50 US.
And he's going to share it with one, two, three, four, five. You get some of this, too. Praise the Lord.
She's going like, "Well, I don't need it. I got 25 all by myself." Hallelujah.
Okay. If if you want to roll like that, that's okay.
That That's okay.
Do you know the other reason for doing this demonstration and you were all up in my business today?
When you come to church, you need to come expecting something that you don't even think about.
>> Did you think when you came to church tonight, wait, did they have to make you come?
You [clears throat] wanted to come.
He said, >> he like, "Lord, don't let me lie. Lord, don't let me lie and stand.
When you come to church from now, I'm very serious. Everybody get ready to stand. We're getting ready to pray for our young people. Come on down here, little puffy girl." Praise the Lord.
You just not going to sit back there and be a member of the of the $50 club. Come on down here. Praise the Lord. Listen, we are doing our best to try to provide an environment for you that will make you feel a part of what God is doing.
>> Thank you, Jesus.
>> We really are. And and and we need help from you to do that. You need to communicate with us what's working and what's not working. It does not mean that we're going to change everything, but at least we want to hear whether or not we're being effective. Am I telling the truth tonight?
I've been stopping business as usual church years ago. I really can't stand it cuz God is so much greater than that that we have to regle him to a routine.
Come on everybody stand up.
>> Thank you Jesus.
>> If you can move your way toward these children, it would be great. Hallelujah.
This is a safe place. We can we can touch them.
Glory to God.
>> Glory to God.
Glory to God.
>> Glory to God.
>> God, we have designers standing in front of us.
>> We have artists standing in front of us.
We have singers and preachers and teachers standing God. We we we have civic leaders standing in front of us.
Oh God, we have a spoken voice standing in front of us. God, we have shelves uh and engineers and pirates uh and surgeons standing before us. Uh we have oh God whatever whatever you have designed and destined for them standing right here. Let us make the difference.
Let us make the difference so that they will worship you through it all. So that they will always say yes to your word, yes to your will, yes to your way in the name of Jesus. Uh let them come with expectancy.
Let us come with expectancy believing that God will do more than we can think, more than we can imagine, more.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah.
We give you praise. We give you praise.
We give you praise.
And somebody say it is so >> in the matchless name of the king of glory.
>> Hallelujah. [screaming] >> Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Amen. Amen. And amen.
>> Glory to God.
>> Hallelujah.
[applause] May I have all of you? Will someone get all of their names for me, please?
>> Hallelujah.
>> Shakina.
Shakina.
Black. Glory.
>> Uhhuh.
>> You got a powerful anointed name.
>> Shakina.
>> Ah my. That is transcendent glory.
Glory.
>> Brother Anthony says they need more. Add this with [applause] >> Do you know what y'all just got in addition?
>> What does that say?
>> What? [snorts] Go. You better read right.
>> Jesus.
>> She had already. She translated. It's a 100 US. She said 200. Hallelujah. She >> Someone else just gave another >> Someone else just gave another 100.
She has a prophetic voice. Hallelujah.
>> Don't you think this is wonderful?
>> Do you think they will ever forget this night in their lives?
>> Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah.
Well, uh, Bishop Farmer, I don't know who >> Oh, that's the change. What is this?
>> Here's another $50 US. Here's another $50 US.
[cheering] >> Here is another $20 US.
That's >> And there's another 30. Oh my god.
>> Let God arise [cheering] >> for the artist.
One month free training in art.
[applause] Somebody ought to be praising God up in here. This is >> another 50 US. [applause and cheering] >> What's your name, young man?
>> Larry.
>> L A L E >> L A >> L A >> That's like mine. Lton Carrie. La.
>> What's your name, young warrior?
>> Johnny.
>> Johnny.
>> Oh, Johnny.
>> D Johnny.
>> Deani.
Did Johnny, do you know how much money you done walked up on tonight?
because you are in the house of the Lord.
[applause] >> Listen. Hallelujah.
>> Another 40.
[applause] >> It's another 20.
>> Can I ask you to do something? You see this? This for these children. I don't know. I I I saw her last night. I don't I want you to walk in expectancy.
>> I want you to get up now and walk in expectancy.
>> Walk in a miracle. Now, now to me this is a miracle. To me, this is a miracle.
Walk walk in it. Let let your steps mean and you you you walk.
Glory. Glory. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
Glory to God.
Oh God.
Glory to God. Hallelujah. In expectancy.
In expectancy. Th this this is nobody but God. Th Oh my God. Evans. This is nobody but God. Let me let me let me Oh gosh.
Apostle. Uh when I got down here, I had an emergency with my youngest son. It was a financial emergency to the point where I was like, "Oh, God, I can't do anything that I had planned to do that you given me to do." But I said, "Devil, you're a liar.
Glory to God." I I mean, it was a big one. Hallelujah. And I went forth and obeyed God and look at what God has done. See, that's confirmation for me that he got it. He got it. Yeah. That's strength. Uh-huh. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. Halle confirmation.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. I hope they see this all over the states.
I hope they see this all over the states. Hallelujah.
Now parents, are all of their parents here? Uh, all of their Now look, uh, you do right with this money and this child.
Uh, don't let them spend it all right away.Uh, hallelujah.
Let them know about investment. Uh, and teach them to give tithing on it. Uh, hallelujah.
Let them tithe off of this. Uh, let them bring first to the storehouse. Uh, teach them, teach them, teach them.
Glory.
>> Glory to God in the name of Jesus. Oh my God. Well, here's one more 50 >> from Apostle. Can we say amen?
>> [applause] >> The last time this evolved, allow me to use that word, was at the prayer conference in Alabama right before the pandemic.
I was up ministering and the Lord told me to bless the musicians.
And before I knew it, the Saints had given the musicians thousands of dollars.
I had not asked then. I did not ask tonight.
But this is what God does when we step out on faith. When we dare to believe him in I have a deficiency.
Glory to God. But because God said it, he knows all about my deficiency. He He knew that. Hallelujah. He even knew I would have one when he told me what to do. I love him for this. I praise him for this.
>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I hope you understand the degree of ministry. And I hope you understand that if you don't put God in a box, >> you can expect him to move in ways you can't even comprehend.
>> Glory to God.
>> Glory to God.
>> Well, while they're still tabulating, Hallelujah.
What do you think about this >> shakina?
>> Think about what >> what do you think about what is happening right now?
>> It's awesome.
[applause] >> It's awesome.
>> It's a blessing.
>> Huh?
>> It's a blessing.
>> She said it is a blessing.
>> Say it with confidence. It's a blessing.
>> It's a blessing.
[applause] So maybe you started all of this.
>> M maybe you started all of this because you came up smiling and all of that last night and engaging.
We have young people now they look at folk my age and they don't even speak.
They don't even they'll just walk right by you. You know we we couldn't do that.
Could y'all do we we we could not do that.
We had to show respect.
>> What do you got to say?
>> I'm grateful.
>> That's my word.
Everybody in my family, everybody in the church, they know my word. How you doing, Pastor Daniel? Bishop Daniel, whatever.
I'm grateful.
>> I've been saying it now. How how long, Bishop Farmer? For decades.
>> I asked the Lord for an answer to that question that I would never have to think about nor lie about.
Whatever state I'm in, >> I'm grateful. I'm grateful.
>> I'm grateful because whatever state I'm in, if it were not for the Lord on my side, I know that it would be worse. I'm grateful because I can answer. I'm grateful because he made a way for me.
I'm grateful because he continues to look beyond my thoughts and see my needs. I'm [screaming] grateful because I know him and he knows me. I'm grateful because morning by morning, new mercies Hey, somebody come turn this on for me.
>> Oh, God.
>> Morning by morning.
>> Lord, let me remember.
>> Hallelujah.
>> Glory to God.
>> It's already on.
>> Hallelujah.
All right. Make some sound come out of it.
>> All right. You going to be my my mic stand?
>> Can you hear it up there?
>> [music] >> Morning by morning, new mercies I see.
Morning by morning, the Lord is still in love with me.
[music] Morning by morning, [music] numerous seas I see.
[music] Morning by morning, the Lord is still in love with me.
[music and singing] And I'll praise him [music] for all he's done for me.
I will praise [screaming] him. Glory. [music] Because he set me free.
I will praise. Praise him.
He's the savior of my life.
Jesus.
Jesus.
He's the one.
Jesus.
Jesus. [music] He's the one.
Help me say it. [music] Morning by morning. Everybody. New mercies I see. Morning by morning.
Morning by morning. He's still in love.
He's still [singing] in love [music] with me.
Morning by morning, new mercies I see.
[music] Morning by morning, the Lord is still in love with me. I will praise him for all he's done for me. I will [music] praise him because he set me free. I will praise him. He's the savior of my life.
Jesus. [music] Jesus. He's the one.
Yes, he is.
Jesus. [music] Jesus, [singing] he's the one. [crying] Listen, I will [music] praise you. Everybody say I will praise you. Everybody say I [music] will praise you.
Lift it up and say, "I will praise you.
[music] I will praise you. Glorify you and magnify [music] you. I will praise you.
>> I will praise you.
>> I will praise you."
>> Oh Jesus.
>> Jesus, [music and singing] you're the one.
Jesus, [music and singing] Jesus, you are the one.
>> Nobody but you, Lord. [music] >> Jesus. [singing] >> Yeah, >> Jesus.
>> It sounds good.
[music] >> Only one. Jesus.
>> Jesus. [singing] Jesus. [music] >> You're the one.
>> Morning. My morning. Morning by morning.
Woo.
>> When you get on the wake up list, >> you should be expecting him >> to move for you. You should be expecting [screaming] him to make a way for you.
You should be expecting him to bring you out. You should be expecting him to take you all [screaming] day long.
Has [applause] anybody heard from the Lord yet?
>> Well, how much did our young people end up with?
>> [applause] >> $1,000.
>> They're going to separate it and give you all an envelope dividing that in.
All right, that's $200 a piece [applause] >> plus 25.
I love him.
>> I love him.
>> I love him.
>> Where my sweat rag at? Hallelujah. I left it up there.
I I did what?
>> I stepped on it.
>> Oh, Jesus. Praise the Lord. I got a I got a second one. I got a spare.
Hallelujah.
>> Get my spare out, y'all. So, uh you all can sit down and you just want to stay up here with me, it's fine.
Hallelujah.
Oh my goodness, y'all.
Y'all going to help me preach. Yeah.
>> So, so this evening um before the Lord interrupted me. Praise the Lord. I I I was going to try to share what I didn't finish last night and and and get a little bit [clears throat and cough] um Bishop Farmer. I'm not gonna finish while I'm down here this time. So, uh, you you know, if you strike the deal, I'll do this again. Praise the Lord.
Um, allow me to do this, please. Now, I asked the children questions that I hope that you were answering for yourself.
How many of you are surprised by what is going on?
I'm surprised. I mean, I've seen him do things like this before, but it wasn't in the hotel room when I'm reading and studying and praying. He did not say, "Oh, when you get to church tonight and do this, that and this is going to happen."
He gave me an idea of what to do and then I had to lay it in his hands in order for him to do it. [applause] Sometimes when we try to figure everything out, we mess up the faith that God is trying to show us.
>> If you could figure everything out, you wouldn't need faith and you wouldn't need God because you are calling your own shots.
God does enable you to shape and to forecast your future based on his word and your relationship with him. But if you try to dot every eye and cross every tea yourself, >> one of the things that we did not cover last night in the great commission expansion and and and all of this is really all interrelated is the process of getting from here to there.
He told them to go, but they had to get there.
>> And let's face it, if they knew what they were going to go through when they left, some of them were like, "Uh, Jesus, I know we like this. I I know we we we we we down with it, Lord. But uh >> when we tell him yes.
[snorts] >> When we say yes, >> it means Lord, I'm willing to obey you.
I'm going to do it because I have confidence that you love me more than I love myself.
>> Oh my goodness.
>> [clears throat] >> I could just start testifying right now of the things that God has done.
That it was nobody but him.
>> Some of it I hadn't told anybody about but him.
So when it happened, I knew it had to be him.
>> I I I'll make this part real real real quick. Um I think I did this at CPT before.
Getting from here to there.
I was standing here and she was sitting there, he was sitting there, she was sitting there.
And even though they could see me and I could see them, they were still not where I was.
They had to get to me. Tell somebody, you got to get to Jesus.
>> Now, now, now, now, what do you mean you got to get to Jesus? Jesus is everywhere. Hallelujah. There isn't anywhere where there is nowhere where he isn't. In fact, nowhere is inside of him >> because nothing is outside of him.
>> So nowhere and nothing all has to be in him.
>> He fills all space.
>> Hallelujah. Even all time is in him because time is a convenience of man.
That's right.
>> God is who he is. Hallelujah. And the the saying, "Go ye," that's our scripture. You need a scripture, let me give you that one. The one on the program, Matthew. Hallelujah. Go ye.
Hallelujah. And and and and baptized, and he that believeth and is uh uh shall be he that is baptized and believeth shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be damned.
The the Mathean paricopy, I'll say that word again. Hallelujah. Yeah. Okay.
That's just the a portion of scripture or other important writing paricopy. It it it does not address hallelujah what Matthew brings in of everybody say necessity.
>> Necessity.
>> Matthew in his writing when he was recording what Jesus said he did not put the necessity factor in there. The only [snorts] thing that he does in necessity is at the end when he says obey everything that I taught you. Everything he said that was necessity. Hallelujah.
But the first part, go ye into all the world. Go is imperative. Hallelujah. But the other stuff is just there. It could be considered by some miscellaneous.
Hallelujah. But when you go, there is an object where you are going. Now the children saw me. Glory to God. And I asked them to come. One declined and others were nudged to get on up here.
Hallelujah. Just in case. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. I don't know what was in their mind. I don't know if their mother them said, "Boy, you better go up there just in case." Hallelujah. Were any of the parents thinking just in case? Hallelujah. Could have been just Oh, his hand was up with your hand.
No, no, no, no. This is real. This is real. This is real.
Somebody say just in case.
>> So y'all need to learn how to give God a just in case praise.
>> Just in case there is something for me.
Just in case there's a blessing. I need to praise him anyhow. Hallelujah.
[screaming] I hope somebody is getting ready to give God a just in case praise. Just in case it could happen. Just in case there's a healing. Just in case there's a deliverance. Just in case. [screaming] >> So, so go the implication there again.
It is an imperative. It is telling you, hallelujah, to move.
The distance, the difference between here and there is time. Yes. Come on now.
>> Could be a little faith because you're going to have to trust the other T is travel or transportation.
You're going to have to trust these to take you through the time. Hallelujah.
To transfer to you from your here to your there.
The death the difference between here and there is just the letter T.
>> Hello.
If you put a T in front of here, you have.
>> So if the distance the difference between here and there is just the letter T, I need to take the time to travel from my here to get there. And when I get there, my there becomes here.
>> T in the Hebrew alphabet.
To t a vav.
>> In the Hebrew alphabet, it is the last letter of the alphabet.
Hallelujah. They don't have XYZ and all of those. Not really like that.
It ends at tough. And and and if you were to go all the way back to the Hebrew pictograms, and that was when they did not really have letters, but they only had pictures like hieroglyphics and things. If you were to go all the way back, that T, that top looks like a cross leaning on its side, >> right?
>> It means God Almighty, it means a sign.
It means completion.
It means fulfillment.
It means the process that brings about an end. It means completing a task. Good God Almighty. The cross is the transportation between life and death.
The cross, the cross is the thing that God has put to get you from here to there. It is the connection that brings about an everlasting change in you. When you begin to transverse the cross, when you understand that he has put that there so that you will have a way to get When you are going in the great commission, you [clears throat] are telling the people, I'm here to help you to get from here.
>> I I'm going to You're going to tell her I'm I'm guaranteed it's a Hebrew. not Hebrew, but Hebrew, father. And and I'm going to help you get from here to there because you need to understand that the cross is that vehicle where the blood was shed and where the blood was made, where the blood was prepared.
It is the time for you to come and to connect. It is a place where you can have your sins remitted.
>> Hallelujah.
I I I shared last night that, you know, again, the Mian paricopy, I'm going to play with the word. Praise the Lord. Uh uh did not deal with remission of sin.
And this is for Barbados cuz I hadn't heard this until yesterday.
God said to me yesterday in the hotel and I'm studying and praying. He says, "I'm going to remission sin."
>> Yes, sir.
>> I'm going to change sin's mission.
>> Lord have mercy.
>> Oh, I'm going to remission it. The energy and the the intensity of sin, the energy, huh, that you use to do sin, I'm going to remission it. It's no longer going to be negative.
Yeah. Yeah. Come on, stay with me, somebody. When he for the remission of sin, that means you are no longer sinning. And the sin that you did do, you no longer do. The energy that you did use, now you're doing something else with it. It is an expansion of the remission. He just doesn't get rid of it. Because if he just gets rid of it, then there you are in La La Land. But he takes what he took from you and he reprograms it. He remisses, he recommissiones it. He redo it. So that now you are taking that same energy that >> I made God a promise. I used to be the party and I was the mixed drink maker in the family.
[clears throat] Those two little ones.
I used to put hats on him in coats to get him in X-rated movies. I'm the big cousin. I'm his first cousin.
Hallelujah.
I got a Hey, [screaming] I got a reason to praise God.
>> God remissioned me. Get you.
>> Come on, Jesus.
>> After I got saved, they didn't want to hang out with me anymore. Bishop, his mother was sending him to Cincinnati. I don't want to go down there. He ain't no more fun.
When you come to Christ, he remissions your mission. He recommissions your foolishness. He'll take the same drive, the same tenacity, the same what?
Come on now.
>> I can't do it. Well, what could you do?
What did you do? How did you do it? Who did you do it to?
>> Lord, make me strong enough.
make me empowered enough to walk right back up in that hell hole and bust the devil up because the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church.
The church is not a defensive organism.
It is an offensive. It is an aggressive organism. That's what that word I was trying to show the it means again the original movement. The movement that's going to get victory. the movement that's going to take you where you to get you from here to there.
>> Oh, I come to make you think, well, after this is over, I want you to think every time you go out there, who should I be talking to?
>> Who should I be witnessing to?
>> Who should I be just saying, how you doing today?
>> Who should I just say? Do you know that God could help you feel better?
>> You won't always and Oh my God, somebody said it today. I'm just like, Lord, just give me more confirmation before I can fall out. You won't always see the full salvation process, but God gives the increase.
If you start, if you water, God gives the imp.
You have to be so strategic with God in to hear his voice because sometimes he just want you to act like you're saved.
>> Be kind.
>> Glory to God. Sometimes you don't have to give folk a whole bunch of scriptures. You just have to smile and said, "You know the Lord understands where you are. Let him handle this for you.
>> Hallelujah.
You don't have to always give them a Bible class. [screaming] Glory to God.
That might not be your assignment, but whatever you do will help them get from here to there.
>> Last demonstration. Y'all, I'm I'm so excited about this. Oh, y'all. This is the book here.
You see, I don't I don't wore it out.
Praise the Lord.
This is the one where the guy said that only Matthew had the great commission in it.
Now, that one, I call it a flaw, does not negate all of the other incredible information in here. the research he has he [clears throat] he used the book of Jubilees the the the Jewish scripture that's not canonized in the Bible >> he he uses Josephus and all of these oh my goodness when you understand the fullness God almighty of all that God has done [clears throat] so that we will have this word when you consider there.
This one here, our roots after a way called heresy. All the things that organized religion did to keep the word of God not be the full word of God. When you understand all of this was done, hallelujah, and still somebody say after all that foolishness, there's still enough word of God left that will change our lives forever. There's still enough power that we got through the translations and the degradations and all of that that there's still enough is still working. It's still powerful. Isl Oh, glory to God. Hallelujah. Where does stack at? Where at? Help me, Jesus. I got a whole stack of them. One for everybody. Yes.
Be a servant bishop and get them out.
You and the other.
I'm a working bishop. Praise the Lord.
The world for the most part, according to Adams and Anderson, the world for the most part is a Everybody see that word?
>> Reactive.
>> Reactive.
We are reactive people.
Uh oh, please just keep it here. Don't Don't investigate. Oh, the first lady just said I flipped them over. The saints, I didn't give you instructions.
That's my fault. Just keep it right here. Just keep it right here. Just keep it right here. Just look at reactive.
Okay. Turn it. Close it up and turn it over. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
70 to 80% of the world are people who just react.
Have you all witnessed that in your lives?
>> They're reactive. They're reactive because the first stage of development reactive is a second stage. The first stage is being egocentric or egotistical.
That is automatic from our childhood.
We come in the world being an egotist.
Children mine mine mine [screaming] mine.
When we learn things, we get possessive for them.
>> Tell somebody that's natural.
>> That that that's how we come. As we progress, if we progress, then we become reactive. It is a major phase in our life but it is not nearly the best phase to be in.
>> The reactive phase carries a whole lot of the egotistical stage with it because of the things that comes up from it. Now look at the bottom it says heart will head.
Once we start in our lives, glory to God, once we get out of being so egotistical and some folk get stuck there, hello, they're grown and still think mine, mine, mine.
They are grown and even they come to the Lord. They come to church and they still want it mine, my way or the highway.
Hallelujah. They want look look [clears throat] the heart. Uh these are the three phases here uh of of of the reactive mindset.
And I'm going to go quick. Praise the Lord.
It is your heart, your will, and your head. Your heart is the complying part of you. Hallelujah. It it it it lacks relationships.
It moves toward other people. God almighty. It deals with somebody say feelings.
>> Uhhuh. The will is the controlling part of that reactive personality.
Hallelujah. It deals with results. It'll move against you because Hallelujah.
Whereas one deals with the feelings. Uh this one sort of deals with the the fears.
Hallelujah. It deals with uh I got to control this.
I I I I I see the possibilities of getting hurt. I don't want to get hurt, so I'm going to control the situations.
Now, all of these are necessary. Glory to God. Uh stay with me. Uh-huh. The next one is the head. The head is protecting. It is something like the will, but the will control it by moving against it. The head will protect it by moving away from it.
I ain't fighting them. I'm just leaving them alone. They crazy.
If I'm going to save this, they need to be out of the picture. Since they won't leave, I am.
>> Hello.
>> This is called the reactive paradigm or the reactive mindset. When you are going forth, good God almighty. When you are going forth bearing precious seed, you are going to run into more people that are reactive than anything else. You're going to run into people that's trying to control their circumstance, that's trying to avoid their circumstance. That somebody say, "Amen."
>> Amen.
>> Amen.
When Jesus met the woman at the well, >> she was reactive. Yes, sir.
>> She manifested all of this.
She tried to control.
She tried to establish a relationship or she defined the relationship. You, a Jew, I'm a Samaritan.
Hallelujah.
The more he responded to her being, somebody say creative.
>> Because he was the creator, [laughter] >> the more she began to try to still handle the situation.
I love this one. Apostle when when he told her about her husband's >> Yeah. We we've sort of done a bad service. You know, this girl was on point.
She was on point enough to know scripture. She was on point enough to try to deal with the Lord at his level.
She said, "Look," she flipped the script on him. The way folk, you know, when you're witnessing to people and and and and they've been acting horrible and then when they find out you're saved or you're a preacher or you love the Lord, then they jump just as spiritual as you are.
>> Huh? Anybody ever experienced that?
on my way to the convention in in Baltimore.
Uh the flights were delayed and all of that and and when I finally got to the boy, they were cussing up a storm up there in Atlanta. This one guy was saying terrible words and he just done got on my nerve. So then here he come to me with all this stuff and I said, "Oh, bless God. It's a wonderful day. If the plane gets up and comes down, I'm going." He said, "Oh, thank God.
Hallelujah.
I was like, "What?"
>> He talked about Jesus all the way on the plane.
>> When Jesus identified her marital situation, >> she said, "Oh, you're a prophet."
Hallelujah.
>> [snorts] >> Folk will try to get with you because of their reactive mindsets.
>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. But somebody say but. But but if you learn to move from the reactive state to the creative state, you will then expect God to give you what to do, how to do, when to do, where to do, why to do.
>> You don't have to just default to your foolishness. You don't have to revault to what used to get you over.
Hallelujah. Look at people that get saved. Then you know they're saved. The Holy Ghost spill the whole nine yards.
But when they get in a tight, they'll default on you sometimes.
>> Am I speaking in tong? Do I need to interpret that?
I said they'll default on you sometimes.
So, open up your paper. Y'all can study this lady for those look at the creative. The creative is a higher degree of communication.
And the creative mindset, if you see here, creative and reactive, it's the same word.
Tell somebody, you just got put Christ in charge.
Take the sea out of the middle of your mess. Take the sea out of the middle of what you're doing. Don't He already knows about your mess. When you put him in the middle, you are trying to use him and manipulate him to get what you want.
Hallelujah. You're not that smart to tell God how to bless you, how to help you, how to deliver you. If you take the sea out and put it in the front of your reactive self, you'll become creative.
And now he's he's he's in charge. He's the number one. He's calling the shots. He's telling you how to go, where to go, when to go.
>> If you're going to fulfill the great commission, You've got to become creative.
>> I had a friend from Jamaica, Brother David. He's gone from labor to reward now. And he just said, "Man, you paint everybody with the same brush."
Hallelujah. Don't you paint people with this. Everybody's not going through what you went through. Everybody doesn't have a a demon the way you did.
Someone comes to the altar and here you grabbing a bucket and a roll of paper towel.
>> You just reacting >> to what had you bound.
Expect God to do more.
>> Somebody say more.
>> E E C N y'all. This three more minutes. Okay. Okay. Three more.
I'm I'm finding out apostle that um we have humanized God so much. I said we I'm I'm I'm because our language is so limited to define him and to describe him.
Subconsciously, we act like he's like us.
It it it it's just what we do.
>> And and and uh he is how can I say it? Help me say it right.
Tulsa really described it. Awtoer in in in some of his writings, he talks about God being a unified being that does not make mistakes, that is eternal, that was not created and all of that. And he talks about him, hallelujah, from the standpoint of his attributes that Attributes are not things that he has.
Attributes are things that he is.
He doesn't have love or give love. He is love.
And from that standpoint, if you were to look at all of the attributes, we seem to try to limit him that if he's being kind, then he's not he has to hold back his strength or his wrath. God is God.
He's so awesome that whenever he does something for me, he's doing everything for me with all of him. He doesn't have to hold back one thing in order to do another thing for me. Good God almighty.
I if he's helping me, he doesn't have to hold back the fact that he's a god of wrath, that he can correct me. If if if he is correcting me, he doesn't have to hold back his love, that he still loves me in the correction. When we understand that God uses all of God to bless us in all of our ways. Hallelujah. He does it in spite of us. He does it because of him. And he does it because we need him to be that. We need him to have all of that working in our behalf or on our behalf so that when we're going through, we won't give up and throw in the towel.
Why? Why? Levelton, why are you saying all of this? I'm saying all of this because I believe that when you're out there witnessing, when you're out there talking to somebody, the Lord is going to bring this stuff to your remembrance.
Will you remember every verse of everything I say? No. But you will say, "There was a big preacher from Cincinnati who reminded me that God is able to do this for you.
Yeah, >> you'll [snorts] say, "You know what? I I'm going to get a hold of Apostle. I'm going to get a hold of Bishop Herwood and I'm going to find out. I'm going to call him to find out what he did say because I believe that what I heard is an answer for you." Now, I believe that this is confirmation for your life.
>> I mean, that is how the Jehovah Witnesses do it.
>> They'll go back and get reinforcement.
If they don't have an answer, they're going to say, "Hold it."
>> And they're going to run down the street and find somebody.
>> We have advanced degrees in praising God.
>> We can shout them, dance them, praise them, raise them. Hallelujah.
We can speak in and out of tongues.
>> And I love it all.
Hallelujah.
But this world needs oneonone ministry.
>> It needs someone who's going to take the 36.
So everyone stand please. You have this.
Okay.
I leave you with this.
Do me a favor. Look up and down your row and see if you see anybody that you don't know. And if you do, ask them if they need have salvation or needs to be strengthened.
Please do that quickly. Look. Yeah.
[clears throat] Yeah. If you don't know them, just ask them. Tell them the big preacher. Ask them. Ask them.
Okay. If if if they're there and and and and they're in that situation.
Hallelujah.
Would you mind bringing them with you?
Come, come up here.
Whoever asked them the question, just come come stand with them, please.
Oh, Elsto, you're a guest tonight.
Oh, >> huh?
>> Oh, you're from Bible Way Temple Church.
Okay. So, um You good?
Oh, just for strength. Okay, here comes somebody else. Okay, good. Good. Please come stand right here. Anybody else?
Anybody else? The the How many of you know about the golden rule?
The golden rule. How many people? If you do, say amen.
>> Amen.
>> And what is the golden rule?
Okay.
How many of you are aware that there is a rule called the platinum rule?
There's also an iron rule, a 10 rule, and just a whole bunch of metals.
But but but the the platinum rule is the one I want to talk about tonight.
The platinum rule is a higher degree of care than the golden rule.
The golden rule says I'm going to do unto you what I want you to do unto me.
In a sense, I'm taking it for granted that you need what I need or you like what I like.
My wife does not like sweet potato pie.
I'm from Georgia.
And at one time I wondered if she was black when she told me she didn't like sweet potato pie.
I did go there. I did.
And and and and so if I were to do unto her sweet potato pie, >> Yes, sir. [music] Yes, sir.
I haven't done anything for her >> because she doesn't like it.
>> And even though I love it, >> yes, >> the platinum rule says I won't take it for granted that you like everything that I like.
>> Yes.
>> So, I'm going to take the extra degree of care to ask you what you like and what you need.
I'm [snorts] going to do unto you the way you want to be done unto. And I ain't being freaky. Praise the Lord.
I'm taking an extra degree of care to say I care enough to take the time not to assume, but to use facts.
To use facts.
That's what the in the reactive culture that that that is what the the the the uh the will does. The will deals with facts.
When you take the extra degree of care not to assume just because somebody comes to the altar, your word of knowledge and word of wisdom may not be working good that night.
They need you to be at 95% and you at 32.
Ask them triage right there on the spot.
She's here for strength. How many know that strength is in this house?
yours for the asking.
The rest of you, if you don't mind, go to a minister and they're going to ask you.
Anybody else standing here for need?
Just go to one of the ministers standing here. I promise you.
Yeah. Go to one of the other ministers.
The same anointing, the same flow is available to everyone.
Glory.
If there is some oil, please anoint her, please.
Hallelujah. We're all getting ready to pray together.
The first prayer is that nothing is lost from this evening.
Everybody say, "Lord, seal it all in my spirit." Seal it all in my spirit.
>> Seal it all in my spirit. Every lesson, every example, every word, every encouragement, every rebuke, whatever it was, seal it so that I may grow thereby. Now, Father, in the name of Jesus, hallelujah, as we are standing in a new place in you.
Hallelujah. As we are blessing you and magnifying you, as we're thanking you even for tomorrow before it comes.
Hallelujah. for my sister standing here, for the others standing here.
Hallelujah. As ministry is going forth, make the difference. Reinforcement in the Holy Spirit. Reinforcement in the power of God. Send peace like a river.
Send peace. Let it flow from the top of their heads to the sole of their feet just because it is available. Just because you are God. Hallelujah. Oh God.
Hallelujah. Regardless of what outward show there is, outward sign there is inside. Inside inside, inside, do the work.
Do the work. Do the work. Do the work.
Hallelujah. Oh God, [laughter] speak it forth. Hallelujah. Declare.
Declare. Declare the answer. Declare the move.
Declare the strength declare.

>> King's king. You're king. Amen. All right. Wait right here and the bishop is gonna pray for you. Johnson, >> that's you. All right, >> Jonathan. Where's Jonathan? Let me see.
>> There you go.
>> Amen. Let's give God praise. And the bishop is going to lay hands on you. And I want you all to stretch your hands this way towards these children.
Victory in Jesus name.

Young people, join hands. Please join hands with each other. You're not going to drop your money. Just join hands.
>> Now, Father, protect them.
>> Never let them be a victim of any foolishness.
>> Your blood cover them. Your word indwell them. Your spirit filled them. Your anointing move them. Hallelujah.
>> God, make them hungry for you.
>> Make them chase and run after you >> all the days of their lives.
>> Keep their vision clear for you.
>> Rule in their hearts.
>> And let the peace of God that passeth understanding and knowledge, >> let it be their source.
>> And we all say in Jesus name.
>> Amen. Thank you for these warriors. Let their light draw others. Let their light draw others. Let their light draw others. Amen. Amen.
[applause] >> All right.
Can we say >> amen >> to these children?
>> This church, the people of God has invested in you.
>> Now, we want you all to make an investment to some other young person.
Will y'all do that? When you go to school tomorrow, will you tell somebody just how great God is? Will you do that tomorrow?
>> And if you will go a step further, invite them to come to church with you tomorrow.
