[00:00:03]The National Commission for Women or NCW [music] has released a detailed report on the alleged sexual harassment case at Nashik TCS.

[00:00:14]Terming the workplace environment deeply toxic, pervasive, and flagging serious violations of the POSH Act.

[00:00:22]A fact-finding committee constituted under NCW chairperson Vijaya [music] Rahatkar visited Nashik on 18th and 19th April 2026.

[00:00:40]The panel included retired Bombay High Court judge Justice Sadhana Jadhav, former Haryana DGP B.K. Sinha, Supreme Court advocate Monica Arora, and senior NCW coordinator Leelabati.

[00:00:54]According to the report, the Nashik office had a deeply disturbing and toxic workplace environment marked by pervasive sexual harassment, emotional abuse, and misuse of authority.

[00:01:05]>> [music] >> The committee alleged that the accused targeted young and vulnerable girls and subjected them to mental and emotional harassment.

[00:01:13]>> [music] >> The report also highlighted major failures in POSH compliance. It stated that the internal committee for Pune and Nashik was common and no member had ever visited the Nashik office to inspect compliance measures.

[00:01:26]The panel also found no awareness boards or POSH related displays at the workplace.

[00:01:32]The committee further alleged that certain accused employees exercised unofficial control over the office and intimidated female staff by allegedly denigrating Hindu [music] beliefs and traditions.
