In criminal cases involving child abuse, parents who fail to protect their children from abuse, even when they are not the direct perpetrators, can face criminal liability for their failure to act (sins of omission). This case demonstrates that legal responsibility extends beyond direct physical harm to include the duty to intervene and seek help when a child is in danger, and that accomplices to cover-ups can receive significant prison sentences even when the primary perpetrator receives a harsher sentence.

IT'S OVER: Rebecca Haro Just Pled GUILTY!Added:
Welcome to True Crime with Strategic Eyes.
Strategic back again.
Ladies and gentlemen, I got great news for you today. We've been waiting so long for this news. I did not even read one sentence of one article yet because I wanted to react to this raw with you guys. But ladies and gentlemen, it would appear that Rebecca Haro has plead guilty in the case of what her and her husband did to Emanuel Haro. Ladies and gentlemen, we know that Jake Harlo is a diabolical creature. And if you're new to this channel, you're new to this story. Jake Harlo was her husband, Rebecca Haro's husband, and the victim was dear young sweet Emmanuel Haro.
He's beaten to death, ladies and gentlemen. His body was never found.
Now, as bad as her husband was, we know what he's capable of because we know what he did to promise faith. His daughter from his first relationship that bore children.
What was equally diabolical to me was the actions of the mother.
Maybe through what we're about to see, she'll admit to what she did to Emanuel, or maybe she'll take that to the grave.
Maybe she didn't do anything to Emanuel.
Maybe it was just as Jake confessed that it was all him. I don't know. We're going to react to that and we're going to find out together.
But the fact that this mother was willing to go on national television and try and cover up what Jake Harold did to Emanuel to me is one of the most heartbreaking parts of this story.
Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to ask for you guys to please hit that like button, support the channel so we can get into the algorithm. We're going to jump right into this right now. Big shout out to Court TV. Let's see what they got for us.
All right, let's go ahead and call the matter of people versus Rebecca Renee Haro. Case number F E R I 25504808-2.
Council, please state your appearances.
Morning. Morning honor. William Robinson for the people.
>> All right. Good morning uh to you all.
Uh so we're here today for a preliminary hearing, but I understand that the parties have uh in the interim resolved the matter. Is that correct?
>> That is correct.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Yes.
>> All right. So, I have a copy of the agreement here. Um Oh, I understand that uh under the terms of the plea.
>> So, it looks like it's a plea agreement.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's see what the plea is going is with. will be moving to amend uh the uh complaint. Is that correct?
>> Yes, mounts 3, four, and five. Four, >> I'm sorry, four, five, and six. Count four will be a violation of penal code section 273A.
Attached to that will be an allegation pursuant to 12022.7 subdivision D causing great bodily injury to a child under five. And count five will be an amended violation of penal code section 192 subdivision B involuntary manslaughter.
And then count six will be an amended sorry amended count.
>> Hold on before you tell us the other one. The first charge I just looked it up. He did not say what it was. 273A is endangering the welfare of a child.
That's the charge. The first one he didn't tell us what it was. The other ones he told us what it was. So, at least you know what the first one is.
>> Will be a violation of section 32 accessory after the fact.
>> Wow. Nice. These are good.
>> Uh specific dates for those counts.
>> Yes. Counts four and five will be the same date that on the the current amended complaint. Counts one, two, and three. Uh for count six, the accessory, the date range is August 5th through August 22nd, 2005.
>> All right. Any objections from the defense as to those modifications and additions?
>> No.
>> All right. Real quick before we go any further, big shout out to Justice Jane 24. I think it's important that you guys know what the father got. Thank you, Justice Jane. She says, "On November 3rd, 2025, a judge sentenced the father Jake Har."
Oh, man. The destroyer of worlds. That's what I'll call him. I call him from moving forward because his victims were so young. Jake Harl, the destroyer of worlds. Okay, let's keep going. Says on November 3rd, 2025, a judge sentenced the father Jake Har to 25 years to life for the death of 7-month-old Emanuel Haro on May 29th, 2026. Rebecca Rebecca got Oh, you ruined it for screw you, Justice Jane. It looks like Rebecca got 12 years or more for helping Jake cover it up. So it looks like they're going to end up giving her 12 years. Oh, let's keep going.
>> Formal reading and adisement of the formal arraignment pass that for the moment at least not guilty pleasing of allegations be entered.
>> All right. Um the court will accept and enter the plea and not guilty to all of those counts. Um all right. So unless >> I don't know how I feel about this. I I feel like this is exactly what Jake wanted. I I I in my bones I feel like it's Jake is to me like the red herring.
The only thing is is that red herring in Scooby-Doo never did anything. He was never a criminal. He was never a bad guy. He was just red herring, the guy that you blamed.
Jake Harrow is not a red herring because Jake has done horrible things in the past. I feel in my bones though, guys, and you guys know, whoever's been watching this show for a long time, you know how strategic is. I trust my instincts.
I have a feeling that Rebecca's the one that took Emanuel's life.
I have a feeling that Rebecca did it and that Jake is taking the rap for her.
I have a feeling that Justice Jane is going to be in the chat right now trying to blame me for the fact that she ruined the whole show by spoiling the ending. I'm just joking.
>> Oh my god.
>> Seriously, I think this plays into exactly what Jake wanted. He will take the rap for everything and she gets to walk free. And listen, is she walking free? No. But 12 years is not enough for what she participated in and possibly did to Emanuel Haro. Let's keep going.
>> I'll go ahead and take time.
>> Yes, sure.
>> All right. This is uh Haro. Good morning to you.
>> All right. Um, so I understand that uh it looks like you've entered into a plea agreement with the uh people. Um, just very uh generally I'm not going to go into all of the details at this moment, but I just want to make sure uh that I that you understand the general terms of the agreement. So, under this agreement that you have with the people, it looks like you're going to be pleading. Uh, >> you know, I it's not just the fact that I deal with people every day as a detective that makes me feel like I have keen insight into a lot of these things. I also have a trump card in a back in my back pocket. And that trump card is that when I worked for the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision before becoming a police officer and working on the streets, I was an investigator and one of my biggest clientele was female inmates at Beford Hills Correctional Facility in Westchester, New York. I don't get fooled by this fake battered woman act that she's putting on. It does not fool me because I've seen it a thousand times from the most manipulative, dangerous, and diabolical women that God has ever made who in prison for some of the worst crimes you've ever heard about and many of them involving children.
She does not fool me, ladies and gentlemen. This is a fake battered woman face simply to get leniency from our sweet justice system that is built on compassion and Christian fundamentals.
I'm telling you guys that this woman abused Emanuel Haro just as much as Jake did. I'm telling you, it's easy to believe that Jake is just a monster that kicks all his kids' butts and kill them. No.
Whatever. Understand this. If there's one thing I learned, being in law enforcement for 19 years and change is the easiest explanation is usually not the correct one. Why?
Because we're complicated. Human beings are complicated. It's easy to believe that Jake Haro did this all by his lonesome and then he punched her in her eye cuz remember she had the little shiner on and he made her feel all scared. So then she went and just pretended like the guy with the sombrero came and beat up her, beat her up and take the baby and all this extra.
That's the easy explanation. It's not right.
Her hands are dirty, ladies and gentlemen. Her hands are just as dirty as Jake. And you know what we did?
We let Jake win.
We let Jake win. This was Jake's plan all along. I'll take the rap, baby. I love you.
Remember me when you're free. Remember me when you're free. Let's keep going. a one count of child endangerment with a violation of great bodily injury, also another count of involuntary manslaughter, and then finally uh one count of excess after the fact. Um together, those counts uh carry a total sentence under your agreement with the people of 12 years and 8 months. Um, in exchange, uh, among other things, the people, uh, will be dismissing, uh, the other counts against you, which includes, uh, the account, uh, for murder.
>> I know those are not all of the details.
>> Tell us where the baby is at, Rebecca.
Tell us where he's at. If you're truly sorry, you know where he's at. Tell us where you put him. Let's You're guilty.
It's over now. There's no more charges.
There's no more courts.
Let us put him to rest.
>> Your agreement with them, but are those the general >> not even real?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> All right. So, I have a document here. It has some initials on the right side as well as the back and some signatures.
>> I'm sorry. Somebody asked a really good question and I have the answer for you.
They exmiss says, "Could she get out earlier than 12 years?" Yeah, every year in America, I mean, every every every prison in America gives you good time.
Nobody does their time, unless, of course, you have the worst institutional record on the planet. The only place where you don't get out early is the feds. She's not doing 12 years. She's going to be out at nine.
She's going to be out at nine. And then there's all these programs that could cut your time even more. When I worked for the New York State Department corrections and community supervision, we had something called the dog program where they trained dogs to be bomb sniffing dogs, drug sniffing dogs, and dogs that rehab um veterans with PTSD.
And if you got accepted into that program, it cut your sentence even more, almost half. You had dudes that had like 25, 30 years in prison who got into that program and they out in like 15.
Now, to the defense of the New York State Department of Corrections, it was very difficult to get into that program.
And all of the inmates, I was actually in charge of that dormatory, not the program, but the dormatory where they lived in. It was called dog dog six or something. I don't know, whatever.
All of the inmates that was in it, I got to say, they were exemplary inmates.
respectful, treated the dogs like the dogs were the most precious thing on the planet, stayed on top of their training of the dogs. They were on point. So, I got to say that that was a very successful program because number one, the recidivism rate for those inmates was like super low. They never came back when they left. And the while they were there in the institution, they were model inmates. But the point is not to go off on a usual strategic tangent that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. The point is to express to you this lady's not doing 12 years. You think she's doing 12 years. You hear that number, you think, oh well, at least she'll be she's like what in her 30s and 40s? Oh, she'll be like 50 once she get. No, she's going to be getting out in 9 years if she stays out of trouble. Ladies and gentlemen, let's keep going.
>> Are these your initials and signatures?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Do you understand that? um under uh that this agreement goes through some of the rights and consequences of uh you pleading guilty today. Do you understand that?
>> Yes, you are.
>> One of is your right to have a trial uh where 12 jurors will have to agree beyond a reasonable doubt that the people have satisfied their burden. Do you understand that?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> And so by uh agreeing to plead guilty, there's going to be no trial. the you wave that right to have a trial by jury and instead you'll be sentenced by the court. Do you understand that?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Um before uh signing and initiing this form, did you have a chance to all the rights on that form?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Did you have a chance to discuss everything with your attorney?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> It's all an act. There's not one tear coming down her eye. She never shed a tear for that little boy. She only shed tears for herself. Let me go to the fan funy real quick before we get back into that. You guys are too generous. I want to show some love to you. Uh $2 traffic X miss saying appreciate your work and your team put in. Thank you so much. Um Marilyn Battle um ex Jesus Christ is a member for 13 months as a recruit. Thank you so much and God bless you. Uh Hope ate Fair um sent one gift membership.
Thank you so much. Whoever got that gift membership, please make sure you say thank you to Hope and Trash Troll with a $2 suites. The females in California prison take care of her. But we'll see.
We'll see. Cuz uh I you know, like I told you guys, I worked in a female prison for a very long time. And uh they like to take care of each other doing other things.
Not the street justice you expecting.
You know what I mean? When you hear about them dudes going to those maximum security prisons inside of the the female jails, it's a different animal.
Anyway, let's keep going. Uh Jerry with celebrating eight months as a recruit member. Thank you so much for supporting the channel and sticking with me so long. And Rockman 91 with $2 chat says, "This is great news. Watching on 1.75 speed to catch up." Thank you so much, Rockman. It's great to see. It's always great to see Rockman on the channel. And lastly, Aaron member for 14 months. Aaron in the house catching a live. Thank you so much, Aaron. And guess what? Good news, Aaron.
You actually won the contest last time.
You know that cuz we spoke via email. I finally got all of the merchandise that I want to send um you beautiful folks um in the mail. So, I have extra stuff.
We'll be doing some giveaways. In fact, I'm going to do a giveaway for the show in memory of Emanuel Haro. So, I'll do a giveaway there. But, I have your your um your giveaway and I'll be putting them in the mail in the next few days. So, I hope you enjoy it and uh you definitely deserve it and we appreciate all of the support you've been giving the channel for so many years. Aaron Murphy, you are definitely a jewel to the show and you are appreciated. And Rockman is celebrating 9 months as a White Shield.
And I love Rockman. He's always engaging in the chat. He's always showing us that love and we appreciate him. He said, "Never mind on the good news. 12 years is not long enough." We agree with you 1,000%, Rockman. Thank you so much. Or Moon sent us some jewels. Thank you so much, Aura Moon. That's very, very generous of you. and Crafty Nancy sent us some jewels as well. We appreciate you guys. You guys are so generous, man.
Let's get back into this, man. This is sad, sad stuff. Let's go. you understand that besides the uh right uh that you're giving up to have a trial, one of um some of the other rights that you'll be giving up is uh if you're not a a United States citizen, if you plead guilty, um your conviction will almost certainly have an impact on your ability to remain in this country. Do you understand that?
>> Yes, you are.
>> Hold on. Hold on here. She not American citizen. What?
What? Hold on. Let me go back just a second. Big shout out to Christine with a $20 super chat. Thank you so much, Christina. Appreciate you, Christina.
That's so generous of you.
>> Almost certainly had an impact on your ability to remain in this.
>> Did you have a chance to discuss everything with your attorney?
>> Yes, your honor.
Do you understand that besides the uh right uh that you're giving up to have a trial, one of um some of the other rights that you'll be giving up is uh if you're not a United States citizen, if you plead guilty, um your conviction will uh almost certainly have an impact on your ability to remain in this country. Do you understand that? Yes, you are.
>> You understand that? Uh, >> she not even a citizen, guys.
>> Dang.
She not even a citizen. I don't know.
Like, you think that when they come get her in 9 years, will those activists be protesting out of her house to protect her from deportation? I'm just asking questions. I'm not making any statements. This is crazy.
>> Otherwise, that you'll be giving up is uh possessing, owning, or having access to any firearms. firearms, uh, ammunition, paraphernalia, anything like that? Do you understand that?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Do you need any more time to speak to your attorney about anything, including the rights that you'll be giving up? Um, anything? Uh, before >> Well, people saying it's a required statement. Maybe, maybe she is a citizen. I'm just saying. I mean, I know it's a required statement. Let me stop act like I don't know that. But the way she said it, yes, was like she was like, "Damn, I ain't from America."
But maybe she is from America. I don't know. Whatever. It doesn't really matter. Only said it cuz she cuz they said it. I don't know. Whatever. Big shout out to Renegade. Continue $2.
You're a good dude. Strategic. Much love. Appreciate you. Let's keep going.
>> Maybe I had wishful thinking that she wasn't a citizen so we could send her to El Salvador. All right.
>> Is anyone forcing you or forcing anyone um close to you uh exerting any pressure on you or anyone close to you um in order for you to plead guilty today?
>> No, your honor.
>> Are you pleading guilty because you did in fact do what the people alleged that you have done?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Where were those tears for Emmanuel?
Why didn't you protect Emanuel when Jake was going after him? Why didn't you?
Where were the tears for Emanuel?
>> All right. Um, Mr. Robinson, uh, can you be Can you prepare?
>> Still no tears.
>> Still no tears. You couldn't beat tears out of this lady. No tears.
No tears.
She does not care about Emanuel Haro.
Big shout out to Caroline Taterville.
Tenna says, "Thank you for what you do here, but also in the community. I appreciate you." There are no tears for Emanuel Haro. Look at this.
>> In court, it's Mr. Smith.
>> I'm sorry, Mr. Smith.
>> Uh, sure. Do you mean to take a factual basis?
>> Yes. Um, Miss Haro. So, I'm going to have the prosecutor right now uh read a factual basis. And basically what this is is uh what they believe that they can prove if this case were to proceed to trial. I want you to be listening uh to everything that he's saying because that after he's finished, I'm going to ask if you believe uh he can prove that the people can prove all of those things beyond a reasonable doubt if this case were to proceed to trial.
>> And your honor, I would offer a stipulation to a factual basis to the police that we're entering today.
>> Is that acceptable to the people stipulation >> as to as to these specific please? Yes.
>> Yes, Ron.
>> Okay. And the court will accept uh the factual basis. All right. Um, >> all right. Every time you see it like shifting around like that, that is not me. That is Court TV and their cameraman. Big shout out to Aaron Murphy. Tenn says, "He said, "Ola, now it's adios, man."
>> All right, Miss Haro. Um, how do you plead to the uh count four which charges a violation of penal code section 273A subsection A which is child endangerment a felony? Guilty or not guilty?
>> Do you admit or deny the violation under Penal Code section 1222.7D which is uh conduct resulting in rape bodily injury. Do you admit or deny that allegation?
>> How do you plead to count five, which charges a violation of penal code section 192b, which is involuntary manslaughter?
Guilty or not guilty.
>> She couldn't even cry when she plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter, helping kill a kill her own kid. She couldn't even cry for that. usually like you you guys know on this channel we always say words have power, words have meaning. You would think that those words with the judge saying you killed your son would elicit some real emotion from this woman. Nothing. Big shout out to Nicole Faruch says she's a demon. And at this point, Nicole, I have no choice but to agree with you. She can't even give us one tear when she says she's guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Let's keep going. And finally, how do you plead to count six, which charges a violation of penal code section 32, which is an accessory after the fact? Guilty or not guilty?
>> All right. Does uh council join?
>> Yes.
>> I think the only thing she's mad about is freaking Jake can't give her any more golden showers, man. That's the only reason why she's mad.
Council, it just occurred to me um under the terms of the agreement, defendant would also be agreeing uh admitting to one of the aggregated factors. Is that correct?
>> Yes, your honor. And it's delineated in uh the plea agreement, the plea form in the sentencing section on the last line right above the credits. There's an admission to 4.421, I believe. All right. And then finally, u Miss Haro, do you admit or deny the aggravating factor under California rule of court rule 4.42183, 42183 which is that um the uh victim baby do was particularly vulnerable. Do you admit or did not?
>> Right. The council joins.
>> I do.
>> All right. All right. So, after directly examining the defendant, the court finds that the defendant understands the nature of the charges against her, the consequences of her plea, and that her plea is free and voluntary, and that she has knowingly and intelligently weighed her rights. The court will accept and enter uh your guilty pleas.
All right. All right. And then I understand that under the terms of the uh agreement, the parties would like to proceed immediately to sentencing.
>> Yeah, sure. We'd wave time for sentencing and wave referral to probation and preparation of a probation report. We request immediate sentencing for >> He wants immediate sentencing cuz he's tired. He's like, "All right, you know, let's get this guilty going so I can get my check. I can keep it moving." All right, we got 331 people watching this live stream right now. This is an impromptu live. just dropped right in there. Please hit that like button.
Support the channel. Hit the like button. We got 188 likes. We got a whole lot of likes. A big buffer that we can fill in right there. And the reason why we ask you guys to hit that like button is so that we can get into the algorithm so the show can grow. So it can reach to a wider audience. I got to tell you one thing before we get back into this tell you how amazing this channel is. I'm looking at my metrics and the show is growing as usual clip which is a nice steady little clip that we grow. This is this is our lot in life. What I'm noticing is that we have a very solid base of people who watch this show. We have a really solid base of people who watch the show. And you guys don't just watch the show, but you watch the show for a very long time. My average duration of people watching my shows is longer than most YouTube channels. I mean, my average is like people watching the show for like 45 minutes. You don't get that on YouTube. The average for most shows is 5 minutes. For popular shows, 10 15 minutes. Here on True Car Strategic, the average is 45 minutes.
On shows that are an hour and a half long. That's amazing. And what that tells me is that you guys definitely are enjoying the content. You guys definitely believe in the miss the mission of why we're here. So, please hit that like button, keep doing your part. I'm going to keep doing my part and give you guys shows. Hit that like button. Support the channel so we can get into the algorithm. Let's keep going.
>> I I would like a oral acknowledgement of the waiver of appellet rights, which is one of the terms in the pleium.
>> That is correct. Um I've advised Miss Har of her appellet rights. I've entered in with her consent. We can confirm this orally. Uh a waiver of those appellet rights on the back side of that form on the second page.
>> All right. Thank you. Um, Miss Haro, uh, so under the terms of the plea agreement that you have with the people, um, in exchange for the benefits under the plea agreement, um, one of the rights that you'll be giving up is your ability to, uh, appeal any decision uh, made by uh, this court as well, not only today, but also in previous uh, proceedings. Uh, do you understand that?
>> Yes, you And do you agree to give up your right to appeal uh any decisions that have been made by the court in your criminal proceedings?
>> Yes, sir.
>> Council choice. All right. So, the court also finds that the defendant has knowingly and voluntarily and intelligently waved her right to appeal.
>> All right. Uh council, um are we now prepared to uh go into sentencing?
>> Uh yes. I do have a brief statement prior to sentencing. Is this okay with the court?
>> Yes. Go ahead.
Rockman912. Such says, "I found you from Tissa Tells. She likes you. I think first of all, I've been watching Tissa Tails for a long time. Even before I was doing true crime. Second of all, every time I cover her stuff, I always say she look good."
People be like, "Yo, how you talking like that? You married?" My wife know I'm a savage. I'm from Harlem. You know what I mean? I'm a faithful guy, but I I have no problem telling women that they look good. Tissa Tell is hot. She's a pretty lady. But anyway, where's Aki at?
Aki, save me for myself before I get in trouble. Oh, Aki not here. That means we going to have a good time. All right, let's keep going.
>> In a typical homicide sentencing, this would be the time for the family of the victim to speak to this court about who the victim was and what effect their absence will have on their lives.
That conspicuously won't happen in this case. That won't happen because the two people in the world who should have been Emanuel's biggest advocates and protectors are solely responsible for his murder.
By contrast, Emanuel did not die without advocates. M >> I would note uh to this court that your courtroom is full of San Bernardino Sheriff's homicide team members who have been the only people working to find the truth about Emanuel's life and his murder since Rebecca Harold called 911 last August.
>> Only they have been working to bring Emanuel's body home and provide him some semblance of peace.
Even today, if either Rebecca or her husband found it in themselves to reveal to us the truth about where Emanuel's body is, this team is ready to go immediately and get him.
>> I want this court to understand that Emanuel had people who cared about him.
>> They just won't be addressing this court this morning, and they won't be his parents.
I also want the record to reflect that for anyone reviewing this plea agreement in the future, the structure of this resolution reflects what I believe the evidence shows happened in those months, weeks, and days leading up to >> All right, real quick. I think one of the the saddest parts of this case is that we're never going to get Emanuel's body unless, you know, unless happen stance happens. You know, a hiker or whoever is walking by and they find a body or whatever. They're not going to tell us where this body is at. Emanuel Harlo will will never get the rest that he deserves if we leave it up to these parents.
Rebecca's not going to tell us. Jake is not going to tell us. I don't know why, but for some reason, I don't know. I I I just would feel like any deal that they make with these dis terrible, disgusting people would have included telling us where the body is at. It doesn't appear that that's that's something that the prosecution was willing to do. Or maybe it was like we're going to take that to the grave and or maybe, you know, they're like, "Yo, we can't tell you where the body's at cuz the body has been destroyed." I don't know. But I wish that these parents would have given um Jake the the burial that he deserved by by giving him to the people to us to the people. Um I do want to address one thing that Miss Anita Hen um wrote. She said, "As strategic eyes, with people like me who don't get to see your lives and live on the other side of the world, whenever I watch your replays of your show, streams, does that count to?" Yes, it does. It doesn't matter when somebody watches a show, whether it's a live stream or a replay, it counts. It counts when you hit the like button, whether it's during a live show or in a replay.
It counts when you comment on the show, whether it's in a live stream right now with the chat going or when it's just a replay box. And it does count when you watch the advertisements and if you click the links. I'm not telling you to do that, but I'm just telling you that counts as well. All right, that helps create uh revenue for the show. So, all of it matters. It doesn't matter when you watch it or how you watch it. All that matters is if you watch it. And I appreciate everybody who supports the channel who cares as much as Miss Anita Housing to ask that question because obviously she wants to support the channel. We appreciate you. We appreciate everybody who's in this room right now. And uh big shout out to Renegade. Continue with the $10 says on Patreon. You don't have to say my last name. People get it wrong all the time.
Angela works just fine from today's Patreon live. I know I know you know chat. Okay. Also, this live was unexpected. Thank you, Strategic. I appreciate you, Renegade. I'll try not to uh say your last name anymore. I will probably forget and say it anyway. And uh but we love you and we appreciate all your support, Angela. All right, let's jump back into this.
>> Emanuel's murder. Jay Caro was sentenced in November to 32 years to life for his sins of commission. In other words, it was his hands that physically took Emanuel's life.
>> Rebecca Haro's plea and sentence today reflects her sins of omission.
>> While we don't have evidence that she personally struck or shook her son, the evidence is clear that she repeatedly and consistently chose not to intervene on behalf of her son.
>> Wow.
>> In spite of his evident and accelerating physical deterioration.
>> Wow. Her choice not to intervene was a choice to allow, if not facilitate Emanuel's death.
This defendant had a legal and moral responsibility as Emanuel's mother, and she failed in that duty, and that's why she is here.
Lastly, these three charges that she has pled to today do not reflect the same course of conduct. The child abuse resulting in great bodily injury to seven-month-old Emanuel reflects her conduct in the days and weeks prior to Emanuel's death. The manslaughter charge reflects her conduct in the moments leading up to his death.
And the accessory charge reflects her conduct after Emanuel's death when once more rather than act like a mother, she chose to play the victim. M >> what that also meant >> somebody sent me that video. It was all over Instagram. Somebody like made a AI parody of Rebecca Haro and they had like a guy with a sombrero come and hit her with some maracas or something and then take the baby and run. Now, I mean, it's it's in bad taste, of course, because that's Emanuel Haro, but it it wasn't really because it was basically outlining how ridiculous her story was.
I've been looking for that video for a very, very long time. I saw it one time.
I didn't save it like an idiot. Somebody please send me the link to that video. I really, really want to add that to my collection. Let's keep going.
>> Thank you, council.
Uh any victim impact statements?
>> Nothing further.
>> All right. Um and have the people complied with Marcies?
>> Yes. Yes.
>> Um Mr. Moore, uh is there any statements the defense would like to make?
>> Not at this time, your honor.
>> All right. Um the uh court uh having considered the facts uh known to the court um will abide by the party's agreed upon agreement. Um so as to uh count four uh the court will sentence the defendant.
>> Plug it into a power source. I got 1% uh 6 years in prison um followed uh by 5 years on the uh >> Hold on, hold on, hold on. My daughter came down cuz her phone wasn't working.
Let me bring that back cuz I want to hear the sentencing.
>> Court will sentence the defendant to six years in prison.
um followed uh by five years on the uh great bodily injury violation.
Um as to count five, the court will sentence the defendant uh to one year of uh prison.
Um and then finally as to count six uh the court will sentence uh the defendant uh to 1/3 the midterm which is 8 months.
Let me uh back up a little bit as to uh count five uh the sentence uh or one year is also the legally required oneird the midterm sentence.
>> All right. So it looks like he's going to give this concurrently. Please don't be consecutive. Let's Let's do this.
>> Uh this will result in a total sentence of 12 years and 8 months.
>> Hold on here. This is not going to count. If we don't put the hat on, this is we're going to have to let her go free. We cannot do this. It would be a miscarriage of justice.
All right, we got the judge's wig. Let's get the sentencing going.
>> Um all of the counts will be running consecutively.
Um, as far as uh credit time served, it looks like uh the parties here have agreed on 323 days, which comprises of um 323 days of total credit, which comprises of 281 days of actual time as well as 42 days of um good time credit.
Um is that correct?
>> That is correct. is calculated by the the court's probate department. Yes, >> all right. So then the court will award uh credit time served in that amount.
Let me just uh revise briefly the sentence uh on count four is the upper uh term sentence as agreed upon by the parties.
Um, >> wow.
This This is not This not hitting, man.
This is not hitting, ladies and gentlemen.
It just just doesn't feel like justice to me.
>> All right. All right. So, Miss Harup, um, as I explained to you earlier, uh, under the terms of the agreement and your conviction, uh, you will not be able to possess or own any firearms or ammunition or any, uh, paraphernelia related to that. Do you understand?
>> Yes, you are.
And the record should reflect we've as well as a certification from the probation department sharm.
>> Thank you. And I do see that in the file and I sign off on that as well.
>> All right. Um council, do you uh as far as fines and fees uh do the parties weigh reading of the fines and fees?
Yes, your honor. And I've asked for a finding under Dius uh that Miss Harrow is currently in the gym due to her current status and waving um or suspending as many of the fines and fees as possible.
>> Any objections to that from the people?
>> No.
>> All right. In light of the u financial condition of the uh defendant, the court will wave whatever fines and fees uh that are u that the court has the authority to do. So, uh, the as for the fines and fees that the court does not have the ability to do. So, um, I'll go ahead and oppose that. Uh, Mr. Moore, do you wait reading of that?
>> I do. Okay.
>> I've also advised Miss Haro of the fact that there uh is a to be determined amount for the restitution which is required by law uh, and that she has a right to a hearing if there is any restitution ordered ultimately by this court.
>> All right. Thank you for that. So the court will impose restitution in an amount to be determined. If there's any um uh issues with that, then the court will retain jurisdiction in order to adjudicate that.
All right. Any Oh, and then is there a motion uh by the people regarding the remaining count to dismiss the remaining?
>> Thank you, Aaron. I got you. Big shout out to Aaron. I got your message.
Appreciate you. Follow super chat. The uh court will dismiss the uh remaining count in the interest of justice upon motion by the people. Anything further from either side?
>> No, your honor.
>> No.
>> All right. Thank you.
>> Wow. This is nuts. We're going to take her out now to step out of the courtroom.
>> Oh boy. Let's Let's at least get a look at her.
Hola seenita.
Oh, that's hilarious, man. The the internet is undefeated, ladies and gentlemen. Undefeated.
Undefeated.
Let's see the other one. It might be the same ones. Nope. This is it. Just that one. Thank you so much, Erin. You saved the day. Erin saved the day. That's exactly the one I was looking for. That was hilarious. But you know what the funny thing is? All right. Um, on the topic of the sentence, I don't I I just don't feel like justice will serve.
I'm sorry. I I really don't want to be uh the contrarian. I don't want to be the Debbie Downer. I don't want to be a black Karen, but that made me like a Tyrone or something like that. I don't I don't I don't want to do that. But it's truly how I feel, ladies and gentlemen.
I truly feel like justice was served. I keep saying, "Oh, get the gavvel. Get the gavvel." No, I'm not getting the gavvel because I don't feel like justice was served. What I'm going to get the gavvel for?
You got the wig because we in court, but I can't I can't hammer justice because justice was was not served. She got out with nothing. She'll be out of jail in like nine years, ladies and gentlemen.
And we know this is California. You better believe there's going to be a boatload of programs that she could she could take part in that's going to make sure that she gets out of jail probably even earlier. And I'm not even saying that to mock California or or do California dirty. You guys know I love Cali. Like I tell you guys all the time, some of my best subscribers are from California. I love Cali. I love Cali cuz everybody in LA got a little bit of thug in him. Like Tupac said. Actually, he said I love Cali like I love women cuz everybody in LA got a little bit of thug in him. Whatever. The bottom line is I love Cali. But to be honest with you, this does not feel like justice.
This does not feel like justice to me.
And it is what it is. You know, I don't know how you guys feel about it, but this is how I feel. Big shout out to De D de D de D de D de D de D de D de D de D de D de Marie with one G celebrating in um recruit being a recruit member. Let get something to drink. I'm sorry.
Big shout out to Aaron Murphy with the $5 super chat and Renegade continuing with $2 address says, "Man, this is depressing. I need ice cream."
I really would like to know what you guys think about this. You know, let me do a quick poll before I read this article and we call it a day.
We start a poll.
Was this justice? And the thing is like this case is over.
Like the the case is over. They asked for sentencing right now, which means she's been sentenced. She's going to go away. We're never going to hear from her again.
We're never going to hear from her again.
And um you know, we move on to the next one.
Unfortunately, I guess the next big one out of California is um what's the one with the mother?
She had the crazy name Busby. Something like that. Something not Busby. What is it?
Melody Buzzard. There you go. My memory serves me right again. Melody Buzzard probably be the next one that we're going to be, you know, trying to stay on point with. I just don't feel like this is justice. Anyway, let's go to the article. Mother pleads guilty for role in death of infant Emanuel Haro. The mother of seven-month-old Emanuel Haro, pleaded guilty Friday for her role in her infant son's death, whose remains still have not been found. Prosecutors said Emanuel's father, Jake Harrow, inflicted the fatal injuries, but his mother, Rebecca Harrow, knew her son was being abused and failed to protect him or seek medical care. Authorities said Rebecca Harl later helped cover up Emanuel's death by fabricating a story that he was abducted during a surprise attack in Ukipa parking lot. A surprise attack in Kypo parking lot. Is it this one?
>> Hola.
Hola, Senorita.
That's exactly what she said happened to be honest with you.
That's literally as ridiculous as that AI rendition look, as ridiculous as it look, as ridiculous as it looks is exactly what she described happened to her to her and her son. Anyway, let's keep going. The house reported in August 2025 2025 that their baby had been kidnapped outside a big five sporting goods store, but investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department later determined the abduction never occurred. Ladies and gentlemen, let's get all of this stuff out of here.
Her choice not to intervene was a choice to allow, if not facilitate Emanuel's death. Assistant Riverside County District Attorney Brandon S said, calling it a catastrophe, a catastrophic, excuse me, failure of her duty as a parent. Under the plea agreement, Rebecca Har was immediately sentenced to 12 years, 8 months in state prison. The district attorney said Emanuel's father, Jake Har, was sentenced last November to 32 years to life in state prison after pleading guilty to murder and assault on a child under eight causing death. The lies told in this case only deepened the tragedy of Emanuel's death, Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestin said at the time. Very, very, very sad stuff. I dare say, we look at this picture and we clearly see a baby that has brain damage.
Brain damage. This is not how Emanuel looked when he was first born. Please know this, ladies and gentlemen.
Emmanuel did not look like this. He was happy. His eyes were straight. He was vibrant. This man whose lap he's sitting on destroyed him. Look how big his hands are compared to the body of Emanuel Haro. He destroyed his son just like he destroyed Promised Faith, which was his first child that he abused almost to death. But she lived and she's walking around with barely any B brain functioning. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not how Emanuel look. This is how his father made him look from severe abuse.
This is the woman who sat back and watched it happen.
And to me, she is just as culpable as him. And I'm happy that our criminal justice system at least acknowledged that she had a duty to protect that child. If you want to stay in a DV relationship and you locked in and you got all this stuff going on with the mental health and all that stuff that you can't see your way out of it, at the end of the day, it's sad. As a society, we need to help you. We need to give you whatever resources we can give you to save you. But that's your choice. Okay?
But when it comes to children, you're supposed to always choose them over everything else. Even if she was in a DV relationship with Jake, she should have risen up, rised up above her circumstance, and did what she had to do to protect Emanuel.
She did not. So, in my world, in my world view, she's just as guilty as Jake Haro. Anyway, let's keep going. This is Jake Haro.
This is him in court. He was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. This is them when they right after they were both arrested. Just to let you guys know, she is much older than him. I think by 10 years, she had children who were close to being adults that were not living with her. She knew better. She knew better. Now, he's a beast. There's no no nothing taken away from him. He is guilty of what he did. He should have known better, too, because he already went through the court process with what he did to promise faith. But she was old enough to know that she needed to protect herself and most importantly she needed to protect her son and she failed both. She failed herself and she failed her son. And this is the memorial that they put up for that beautiful baby. And this is them spewing their lies on how the man with the sombrero came out of nowhere and blasted her in the face.
Hola, >> let me stop. All right. And it's like we're going down memory lane.
The fake crying and all that stuff and the shiner that made everybody ask the question. That did not look fresh.
That's what really blew the story.
Ladies and gentlemen, remember when we saw this for the first time?
We saw that shiner on her eye, that black eye, and everybody said, "Nah, it doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way." Everybody uniformly said, "Something's not right now because that looks like an old black eye. It does not look like a recent black eye." Anyway, that's what I got for you guys today.
