Now, going back to the embattled senator, Dela Rosa appears determined to avoid the same fate that befell his former boss, despite previously saying he was willing to join the former president in detention at The Hague. It has now been more than a year since Rodrigo Duterte was arrested and transferred to The Hague after Philippine authorities acted on an Interpol notice in March 2025.
