The great Attractor; weird object in #space

The Great Attractor is a massive gravitational anomaly located approximately 150-250 million light-years away in intergalactic space, which exerts a powerful gravitational pull that drags our entire galaxy cluster (the Milky Way and thousands of other galaxies) toward it at a speed of approximately 600 km/s. This gravitational anomaly acts as the central gravitational point of the Laniakea Supercluster and represents an overdensity of galaxies and dark matter equivalent to tens of thousands of galaxies. The Great Attractor is situated behind the Milky Way's 'Zone of Avoidance,' a region obscured by our galaxy's dust and gas, making it difficult to observe directly. Despite our galaxy's movement toward it, the expansion of the universe means we will never reach this gravitational anomaly.
