Ergothioneine is a rare antioxidant found in mushrooms that humans cannot synthesize, making mushrooms the richest dietary source. Unlike most antioxidants that work outside the mitochondria, ergothioneine can penetrate into the mitochondria through a dedicated transporter called OCTN1, where it neutralizes free radicals that would otherwise damage the cellular energy production machinery. This mitochondrial protection helps skin cells maintain their energy (ATP) levels, supporting collagen production, cell repair, and structural integrity over time, which contributes to anti-aging benefits.

Ready? Let's go.
Hi guys, how are you?
Welcome. I am Julie.
Can you guys hear me? Okay, I had I did not hit mute. We are green.
You guys hear me? Okay, good. Thank you.
Who's here? Hi everybody.
Hi Dr. Trey, Shellhel, Heather, I heard you guys weren't hitting the like button. I looked. That's what um I can see where um Hang on. Let me make sure. I think it's working.
Oh, well, I'm whatever. I think I saw it was working. I'm sure it's fine.
Oh, yeah. See ends tonight. That's true.
Dr. Dre.
Hi, Katherine.
Shell Health at Julie. I did shrooms once on a field trip in high school to the zoo with friends. It was a crazy day. I can imagine. I've never done shrooms. I've done other things. Never done shroom. I don't think I've ever done shrooms. I think I would remember, right? I've never done shrooms.
I don't like that. I was talking about this the other day. It's like I don't like that out of control feeling, you know? And once you take something like that, although again, I've never taken shrooms, but once you take something like that, it's like, as far as I know, you just have to let it run its course.
There's really nothing you can do.
You're kind of stuck. And I don't like that feeling.
Although, I know many people who just do stuff like that every day, and I don't even know if they know the difference of what reality even feels like. Can you imagine?
Hi, Madam Steno. I saw a question in here. Soldier Mummer. Somebody soldier mama. Somebody said something about the essence. I saw it.
Um did I see a question? Oh, question.
Anyone finding the hydro sticky after application?
Is anybody else finding that?
Hang on. is um hang on one second.
Is anybody else finding it sticky?
Actually, I have it next to me. Let me find out.
Give me one second, guys. Hang on.
I have to deal with this. I don't mean to be rude. Hang on one second.
Shoot.
All right.
The reason I titled that about the mushrooms is because we're talking about ergoionine tonight and mushrooms are like a very rich source rich source of that. Your body doesn't make erggoine but you can get it from mushrooms. So that's kind of the haha behind the whole thing.
Some girl online, how are you? Coco, hello Barb the cat. How are you?
Koko said, "Was this a surprise live?"
No. What happened, you guys?
And I I didn't forget about the essence.
I'm just waiting to see um what other people say about that. Happiness again.
Hello. Uh so, we did a live on Friday.
It went like four hours. I was super hungry. I was super tired before I even started the live. I was hungry before I started the live. As a matter of fact, I had a bowl of popcorn next to me, which if you remember, I barely touched. So, after the live was done, I'm thinking I titled it something about aging or why we age. I don't even remember what I titled it. So, then I was trying to explain the essence and the erggoyioning and the whole thing was just a mesh mess. Then I kind of started talking about like a certain customer and her text to me which wasn't nice to me and she didn't say a word to me. This is just my own feelings. So I just kind of felt bad. And then I talked about like a child support situation. So I kind of went I don't know. I was in rare form.
It was just a lot. So I just took the thing down. And today we're going to stick to the facts about ergoionine. Put it in the essence, why it's there, what it does. Also getting a lot of questions about epidermal growth factor copper serum. Wh what are the what's the difference? Do you need one? Do you need both? Do you need none? Like what's the deal with that? So that's why. So I took Friday's live down. Normally I do not go live on Sunday. Normally it's a um when do I go live? Friday and Tuesday, I think. Is that right? Is it Tuesday?
Yeah, I think normally I go live Friday and Tuesday.
So this was scheduled as of this morning. Hi Renee.
You won't ever again, Shell. I'm sure I is moons here. Wait, I saw moons.
Somebody said moons. Did I miss it?
Surprise live. Yes.
Hi, Kristen.
It's not sticky for you. I mean, it's not sticky for me, but there is um there's pulin in there and there's also um I can't think of the other ingredient. It's uh I can't think of the other ingredient.
Um plus there's um hyaluronic acid. I tried my hardest to actually here I have it right next to me. Let me see.
And then I have to tell you guys about the new bottles. I'll show you.
Actually, I I have the new bottle in my hand. I'll show you. Give me one second.
But of course, that was even a disaster.
The bottle the bottle situation didn't go right either. Okay, I have some here.
Let me see.
We're going to let this dry down. I mean, I don't rec I don't notice it being sticky when I put it on my face, but I really let it absorb.
Okay, we'll just leave this here and see what it feels like in a minute.
Soldier Mama said, "Okay, strange. I'll just use the other moisturizer I got."
Well, what you do, um, after you cleanse, you put the essence on, Soldier Mama, and then you let it absorb and then you continue on. I don't know if you have serums or like what you have next, but you would put um serums. Uh, let that dry and then you would finish with the moisturizer.
Um, no. Like if it was sticky, you guys would be able to see it. Um, let me see.
I don't feel stick. I don't feel stickiness. It's actually extremely glidy.
Cuz if it was sticky, guys, it's literally It's an easy fix. I don't mind. I'll fix it. But I don't I'm afraid if I added more um like emolience to it, it would be too greasy. That's what I'm kind of worried about. No, this is actually very emollient.
But I hate when somebody I don't hate when you say that. That's not what I say. But then my brain starts spinning like, well, is it too sticky? You know what I mean? H found out other products sticky, but I solved it myself. I was putting too much on. That's another thing, too. If anybody's ever using too much of anything, and I know we've kind of talked about like the hydrating water gel kind of sticks to our pillow at night. Yes. I think if we're not letting these products absorb and dry down or you're using too much. I mean, yeah. I mean, those are all reasons for, you know, peeling can happen. It can be sticky. You're, you know, all the all the things. So, there is I don't want to say there's an art to putting skin care on, but I mean, in a way there is.
That's why I know I've brought this up before, but how Drunk Elephant, their whole motto is put everything in your hand, rub it all together, and just put it all over your face. And I'm like, "Ah, uh, yeah, Kristen has a different handle on this stream than she does with others, I think, cuz she got something happened with Jess Machado's chat. Isn't that right, Kristen?
It's the real Kristen. Don't worry."
Oh, Coco, you're funny.
That's cute.
Yeah, I have 600 subs and we have like um I keep getting alerts that it's going to storm here. If you wonder why I keep looking at my phone, like our energy company always, our electric company always gives me messages. Not me. I'm nothing special, but they send messages out when um there's going to be a storm and I'm like my phone is like lighting up and I'm thinking, "Oh, poor Leo. He's going to be shaking tonight."
I do I do have over 600 subs or just 600, I think. And we need like 400 watch hours and we're there. Well, we're there for members. We're still not going to be monetized for ads, but I don't even know what that means, you guys. Like, whatever.
What are you talking about? It was probably my questions.
Some girl online Friday was a good time.
You know, you guys, I like never watch these lives back ever. I'll watch like snippets of it. Uh because I I need to like learn if I need to like change my volume or like the coloring or something. Like I'll watch snippets of it, but I never sit back and like watch my video. Like that's weird. I I just don't do that. Um but I did watch because we were going to make a short out of a couple of the things on um Friday and oh my god you guys, I was so tired. I And I was not high. kind of wish I would have been, but my eyes were heavy. I mean, I was out of it on Friday. So, I took I think I took it down Saturday morning and then I was talking to a couple people. They were like, "No, leave it up. It was good. It's fine."
And I'm like I'm like, "I'm just not feeling this, you guys." And then I woke up and I they're gone. But I don't know what these are. I got spots on my neck.
No clue what that's from. They were really bad yesterday.
I'm like, "Lovely. I probably have measles or something." Joking. No, I don't. Um, anyway, so I took it down, but it was fun.
Barb the Cat, can I still roast you again for putting denatured alcohol in your hair? Yes, Barb, you can. Go ahead.
I deserve it. And you know what? That stuff, I like it. But my hair, and I will say, and Dr. Trey, you use the We're talking about the K18, the mask.
It's all the rage. I bought mine back at Christmas time. Um, I put it on I think it was Wednesday or th I think it was Thursday night and Friday when I woke up my hair did not feel good. Now I've used it before. I'm going to finish it. I'm not going to throw it away. But no, I already reordered the Olex. We're going back to Ollex. So then Barb, unfortunately you won't be able to make fun of me anymore because Ollex is on its way which is alcohol-f free.
Who's Punzie? Come to the front of the chemistry lab, please. Who's in trouble?
You can totally roast me, Barb. I can take it. Trust me.
Hi, Jodie. How are you? Um, if you use too much of a essence, it gets sticky.
That is true. Maybe we should put that on the label.
Yeah.
Uh, like you don't need much. Actually, I I have it sitting next to me. I will I'll show you guys how much you need.
Hi, LH Traveler. How are you?
Hi, Moons. I hope you're feeling okay.
Shell, hell, sticky. Yeah, Shell, but you're I don't you're not wrong. Um, you're the one that said it was sticky, right? No, that was No, that was the M.
That was mama. Never mind. No, it wasn't you. Never mind.
There was a soldier mama that said that.
Wait, who said that? Who said it was sticky? I'm so confused. Somebody said it was sticky in here. So, whoever said it, you might be using too much or you might not let it be letting it dry down.
I don't know who said it. Now I'm confused.
Told your mom's like, "I don't even have the essence."
She's like, "What are you talking about?
Whoever said it, bite my bits is obsessed with fungi.
Interesting. Like funions, the chips or fungi? Like mushrooms. You like mushrooms, huh? Tell me more.
Heather said, "I've definitely flooded skin by applying the next product too soon." Oh my god. Yeah, we've all done that. Absolutely.
My skin is peeling right now, you guys.
I have a mask to do. Um, it's a TCA. I think it's like a 40% mask. So, my skin is going to be peeling up a storm, but I never have a good time to do it because shoot because I go live like twice a week. So, I'm either going to have to come on with peely skin one day or I'm going to have to skip a live because I have to do this mask. If I don't, it's going to expire.
Coco said, "Moons, don't take me to drive. Don't make me drive to Texas.
Take you to the doctor. I'm closer to her. I'll I'll babysit her. I got her. I got her."
That's what That's what I thought. Dr. Trey, Soldier Mama was talking about the water gel. Yes. But then, didn't she say she doesn't Oh, the water. The water gel.
Did I see essence? Did my eyes play tricks on me, you guys? Hang on. Now I need to go back to the top. Did she say water gel? Why did I see essence? Who's on mushrooms is what my question is.
Hang on. I'm going back to the top.
She You know what? You know what threw me off? She said, "Anyone finding the hydro gel sticky?" I saw hydro and this is called the hydro plump. I assumed she was talking about the essence. That's how I'm like, how did I get Whoa. Okay, I get it. I'm with you now.
Same idea though. Uh, hydrating water gel. Let's let's talk about that one now. Hydrating water gel. Yes. If you again, you guys do not need much of any of these products. Like even if you push that, you know, um for the hydrating water gel, the top you push it down and then the product comes out, that amount that comes out will cover your entire face, your neck, and probably even a little bit like to your collar bone. And then I kind of take it up like here and then whatever's residual I put on the back of my hands. So you guys do not need much. But yeah, I could understand where the hydrating water gel would be a little bit. That one, yes, maybe. Yes, I could understand that.
But I don't know if I hear enough about it that I could change it. But if it's bugging you guys, I can add more. I forget what's in that. But there's some sort of emolean. I have to look at the formula. Um, yeah, we could fix that. If that's a problem for more people, you know what I mean? Like if that's a problem, we can fix it.
Bite my bit says that's what Rebecca Lavoy uses. Drunk elephant. You know, bite my bits. It's where I saw that from. She did a um which I I'm sure you saw it too, but she put on hers all of her skininc care and she's like I use Drunk Elephant and she's putting like the CE fuic with the retinol and the everything and she's mixing it and I was like oh my gosh that's just a mess because what happens is you're your um the pH of some of them are lower than the other and then it makes the others not work well. I just don't agree with it, but whatever.
Moon said, "Coco, I actually went to the ER at 4 am Saturday, so I don't think the meds are working." Yes, Moons. I didn't want to say that because that's none of my business, but yes, I wasn't going to say that. So, I'm glad you did.
Hi, Beth. How are you?
Heather said, "So, you will have monetization for ads?" No, monetization for ads, you need um a thousand subscribers and 4,000 watch hours. Uh to get the members, like the little members button where you can like join for like the three, four, $5 a month. That is what I would be getting. Um you need 3,000 watch hours and 500 subs.
So, I need 400 more watch hours and I get that.
It's taken a while. you guys. But then I'm like, she's I only go live twice a week, so what do I want?
Moons said, "I'm on all the drugs. Antib antibiotics, narcotics, but I need mushrooms still."
I'm sorry you're having a rough time.
Ear pain is like the worst, you guys.
You know that. People that have had an ear infection. My son, I think, how terrible is this? He's leaving Wednesday, so he's going to be on a plane. He's has he has had notorious He's 21. He's had notorious ear problems like his entire life. He never needed tubes now. I wonder if we shouldn't have, but they never told us he needed them. I think it's like when they're a kid, you need um what is it like three or four ear infections in a year or something? I don't remember. But he never fit that criter criteria. But he did get ear infections a lot.
So yeah, I don't know. He's got to go see an ENT, I think.
Jod said, "From my experience also with the hydro hydrating water gel moisturizer, if you use too much of that, it gets sticky. It does take a bit to dry." I agree with that, Jodie. And you know what? That's actually getting formulated tomorrow because we're out of that one. Um I'm almost tempted to fix that because this would be the time I have to do it because it's getting fixed tomorrow or not getting fixed, it's getting made tomorrow.
Yeah, that's an issue. And I and I can understand with that one. Maybe I need to add a little something something to that.
Yeah, I think you're right. I mean, the the um label won't change. Like, we would just add a little bit more of something to make it a little bit more silky. So, I don't know. We might have to change that.
Are they hickeys on my neck? No. I don't know. Yesterday morning, they were like a lot worse. They were like literally like round circles. This was a round circle and this was a round circle, but it was like obvious. And today they're going away and they're only on one side.
I mean, they kind of do look like hickeys. It's kind of funny, but no, they're not. I think it's from my necklace. I think it's from my necklace.
That's the only thing I can think of. I don't care.
Yeah, yesterday I woke up. I'm like, what is that? Good grief.
Yeah, bite my You are correct. I don't know, Moons. I hope you're doing that cuz then I would hate for you to get stomach issues cuz you're knocking out all of your good flora.
There's flora store. Um or you can probably just get one on Amazon or bare minimum. I'm sure you know this. I don't mean to be a nibboss, but eat yogurt.
Hickeys. You guys are not hickeys.
I don't do hickeys. No. That's funny.
Jody said it's a learning process for me, but I have been using spot. Uh, but I've been using most the products and my face is making big progress that I got so many compliments today at a dance recital. A I love that.
But I want it to be enjoyable. Like I don't want anything to be sticky.
But I get it. I do. Out of all the products, I have to agree with you guys.
That one's probably a little sticky. I think I agree with that. Yes.
Erin said, "Are you and Jimmy aka Dan?"
As far as I know, yeah. Why is there a problem that I don't know about? I stay out of the drama, you guys. So, if there's ever any drama, I somebody's gonna have to tell me because I do not get into it. As far as I know, we are.
You love Olaflex, Beth? Yeah. Actually, Beth, how's your sister? How's her face?
I should have checked on her. I'm sorry, but I knew she was traveling, so I didn't know if you would even know.
I hope she's doing okay. I hope her skin's okay.
Hi, Nona. Wait, Nona Alu. Nona, how are you?
All right, let me just get through these first bits of chat. I'll get through a few more and then we will start and I'll show you guys the bottle because it's sitting right here. And of course, there's a story behind the the bottles to do. They actually deliver today, which was so odd. It's Sunday, but okay, we have everything delivered to the house.
I know compliments are awesome.
Hi, Angela, how are you?
Nona said, "Can you explain about auto shipments and subscriptions benefits?"
Sure. Uh some people instead of having to worry about when to order, you can do a 35 or a 65day subscription and I is it 12% and you save um 12%. So if you choose the 35day, we get notified that it's like an it's an order. It comes through to us as just any other order would. and you save 12%, but you don't have to worry about ordering. So, if you order whatever the rejuvenating eye cream, if you order that as a subscription, then every 35 days that's going to be filled and you save 12%.
If you choose not to do that, then you just have to if you choose to order that again, you have to just remember to order it and then you're on your own.
So, that's um was that your question?
Yeah. So that the benefit is you save a little bit of money and you don't have to worry about it. It's just going to show up to you every like 35 by the time it ships probably every 38 days or 65.
You can choose. So that I mean that's the benefit. You save money and you don't have to worry about it.
Barb the cat said, "Does the brightening serum work as good if you put it on after the essence?" That's how I use it.
I put the essence on at right after I shower or wash my face. I put the essence on. I let it absorb and dry. So, this is really, if you guys really want to know what I do, let's get down and dirty right now. So, I get out of the shower and I wrap myself in a towel and I instantly go and I put a hair like spray, not hairspray, but like a moisture like a leave-in conditioner on my hair because same thing for your hair. Your hair dries out instantly, too. So, I put a spray on my hair and I wrap it and then I put the essence on my face. This happens within a minute or two of me getting out of the shower. And then as the essence is drying, I start putting on my clothes. And then um by that time the so I have my clothes on, the essence is now dry, then I would move on with the um what did she just ask me about? The brightening serum, the advanced lightning brightening serum. I would move on to that.
that absorbs quick because you put a very thin layer just where you need it.
So wherever your hyperpigmentation is, that's where you put that. So that's not an all over. Then I let that absorb and then if it's the morning, I put on my CE furic. If it's at night, I put on my copper and my epidermal growth factor.
If it's the morning, I put on my hydrating water gel. After that, if it's at night, I put on my advanced retinine advanced advanced retinol renewal cream.
Oh, I forgot about the ceramide. I put the ceramide on, too. So, rewind. Uh, morning C Fruic Camide Hydrating Water Gel SPF.
Nighttime Essence Advanced Brightening Lightning. You guys, this is so much. You do not need to do all this. Trust me. Don't be like, "Oh my god." Camide, copper, EGF, and then the moisturizer.
That's That's how I do it.
Again, you do not need to use all that.
Trust me.
Catherine said, "My all-time favorite hair is Oui by Deans." We have to star that and look that up.
Katherine, if I forget by the end, remind me. I start it. So, I think I'll see it again. I don't know. I don't know how stars work, but we'll figure it out.
Shell said, "I don't know. I just heard the word sticky." And sticky and good, if you know what I mean. Nobody wants to be sticky.
Beth said, "We Oh, wayey." O U Ai like way. Is that the Is that what you're talking about? No, that's not what you're talking about. You're talking about OUI. Yeah, I don't know what that is. I like Weey. I love the way we whey smells.
How do I say this? Wor sourcus 1208. I don't know how to say that. Sorry. Do the mask live for us for us? I don't know what that means. I don't know if I'm not following that.
Maybe that's another conversation that I'm not following. Sorry. Um, hi Maggie Winterton. How are you?
Beth, are you talking about the pumpkin mask? I'm not sure what we're talking about, guys. The pumpkin mask is on sale. Is that what you guys are talking about? I don't know what we're talking about. Hi, Funeral Lady. How are you?
Has everybody followed the funeral lady?
She has a YouTube channel, Funeral Lady.
Amy is a wonderful person. and she talks about all funeral things, obituaries, what happens, the whole funeral process, and she's lovely to listen to. So, go follow her.
She goes live every Friday at 400 PM Eastern, correct? Because it's 3:00 here. So, I think it's 4 o'clock Eastern.
It's the mushrooms. No joke.
All right, we're going to get started.
I'm caught up to 650. Oh my god, I'm so 10 minutes behind. I hate being behind, guys.
I got you, Soldier Mama. I figured it out. It was when you called it the hydra. That's what threw me off. It's fine. We work together. We figure it out. No worries.
All right. So, this is the situation here.
So, these are the bottles for the new Hydro Plump Longevity Essence. All right. It's only half full.
So, sorry I didn't fill it all the way up. Okay. So, when I ordered these, and I didn't even put this in. It came with, you guys know that um there's like a stopper there, like an essential oil stopper. Do you guys know what I mean?
So, when you tip this upside down, it's supposed to kind of like drip out and you kind of like do this and it drips out. Okay, that was my plan. So, today I'm messing around with the bottles and I put my little bit of essence in there with the stopper. I'm not muted. Okay.
With the stopper and literally, you guys, I'm like tipping it upside down.
I'm like shaking it and nothing's coming out. The essence is too thick for the little stopper. And I'm like, "Are you kidding me?" Well, that's not good. So then I'm like, and that's another thing, you guys. Do you see now that we're we have a see-throughish bottle? You guys can see. Maybe you can't see, but in person you can. This starts to Now you I don't think you guys can see. This is kind of separating. It's the formula.
And it's not that there's an oil in it, but it's um all of the ingredients. And I don't use much of an emulsifier in it because I don't want it to be sticky.
And I don't want an emulsifier adds no skin benefit except it keeps the formula together. But with an essence, you can get away with like a very small amount.
And I use something in this called um hydroxy ethyl HC. Um hydroxyethylulose.
Am I saying that right? That doesn't sound right, but it's something like that. The short version is HC. But when you use this, you need to shake it.
Okay. So, you guys can see how thick this is. Now that you can see through the bottle, now you guys can actually see what's going on. All right. So, I'm like, "Well, this isn't good. We can't just do this because people aren't going to like just pouring an essence onto their hand." Although, I considered it.
And my husband's like, "Julie, you cannot do that." I said, "Okay, fine."
So, I'm like, "Well, I don't know what to do because now I have these bottles, but I have no pump.
So, we have a bit of a problem now, don't we? Okay, hang on. I need to bring this closer to me. I keep having to lean over. Sorry.
I hope that doesn't look weird, but whatever.
Okay.
So, I'm like, well, that's a problem.
So, my husband had a lovely idea. He said, "Let's order these like the little serum pumps, the same ones we use for the ceramide hyaluronic acid or the triple C or the exfoliating cleanser."
Now, this one doesn't fit, but we ordered a which will be here in a couple days, but this will be the idea of it.
So, this it will have a tube that goes all the way down to the bottom and then you'll just pump it out. and it pumps out. Well, this won't because there's no tube in it, but it'll it'll work. Okay.
And then it will have So, this will be the look. It will be this with the pump and then it will be covered with this so it looks nice on a counter. So, that is what we ended up having to do.
All right, we're good. And then I was thinking too, if there's like a little bit residual at the end, like maybe the tube won't get it out. I don't know. I haven't gotten that far yet, but you guys at the very end of it, let's say there's like a little like dot. I don't think there's going to be much left because there really isn't. Those tubes get it out very well. You guys could just put like a teaspoon of water in there and kind of shake it around and like get the last little bit out, which that's that's how I think that's going to have to happen cuz it's not on the vacuum thing like the other ones are. Or not the vacuum, the elevator thing. You know what I mean? So, I hope you guys like it. That was the jar story or the bottle story.
Beth said, "These products last a while if correct." Yes, they should last five, six weeks. Most of them. All of them. I don't mean the little trial size, guys.
Don't try to get me on that. But no, I mean the full size.
Ah, Coco, that's awesome. He's doing a surgical residency at Baylor. That's awesome. Good for him.
Thanks to the water gel. I just had my first winter without dry cracked elbows.
You put the water gel on your um elbows.
I mean, you can. That's interesting. I mean, I put whatever's residual on the top of my hand, so I guess I could understand going up there if you have dried elbows. Yeah, you go, girl. Never thought of that.
Uh, hey girl. Hey said, are there any serums you recommend for rosacea? Hey girl, hey. Um, I am specifically making a serum for rosacea. It's not ready. Uh, I mean I I would hate to tell you to try the advanced lightning brightening serum because I don't know if it will work for rosacea. So I don't want to say buy that and then it doesn't work. I that's never been ta tested for rosacea. That was tested for like hyperpigmentation, um discoloration, you know what I mean?
So, uh rosacea on your face. Again, triple C might work, but again, this is all whatifs. I don't know if it will work.
So, unfortunately, you might have to wait for the actual formula that's specific for rosacea. I'm sorry.
Bite my bit said, "I also take a concentrated mushroom tincture or immunity and I've been sick once. We've had a head cold for two days since CO."
Oh, you're saying the tin the concentrated mushroom tincture. You think that keeps your immunity up? It makes sense. Mushrooms are crazy good, you guys. Like, I hate mushrooms. I think they're gross.
But I know I take um uh what supplement do I take? Uh, God, what is wrong with my brain today, you guys? I take a specific supplement for mushrooms.
I can't think of it.
I'm sorry. The pain is brutal. Wait, Amy has pain, too. Or we talked about moons.
I live for now. Oh, I live for now. H, I remembered.
Mention it all, Julie. Oh, moons. You don't want me to do that. You know I have opinions.
You don't want me to do that.
Uh, hey girl. Hey. I got it right. The the Hey girl. Hey. Did I get the question right about the rosacea?
Ear and tooth pain. I agree. Beth, I agree. Tooth pain's like terrible, too.
Earaches are terrible. I don't wish pain on anybody.
Oh, Kristen, I know. I dread this for my son on Wednesday. I know.
Aaron, go bra said, "Hey, girl.
I've been doing scalanta for 3 weeks. Rosacea is calming down. also fixing my gut with whole foods, no sugar. Oh, so there you go. Um, for who who just asked me about the rosacea, uh, I've been doing scolanta. I don't even know what that is, but maybe check into that. I don't know what that is.
Are you talking about the hydrating water gel again? Are we back to that? Is that what we're talking about? I'll fix it. I'll fix it. If that's what we're talking about, I'll fix it. It'll be more emoleant next time.
LH Traveler said, "I have a rash on my neck. Not sure what's causing it. I'm guessing stress is messing with my body." Uh, I could understand that, LH Traveler, unfortunately. Right.
Terrible.
Probiotics always come up in the chat.
It's true.
Dr. Trey said, "Uh, oh, LH, sorry, not me."
Oh, shell. Hell, there's always drama.
Seriously, you sent me a text about your sister now.
I won't read it out loud. Don't worry.
No. When?
You know what I found you guys? Which Beth, this shouldn't be you because I know you and I have texted before. I have a whole I did not know this.
I'm going to cover this. I have a whole thing.
Oh, I just covered it. This right here.
Right here. There says right there spam.
I had no clue that I have a spam folder of people that aren't in my contacts, obviously, cuz they're like customers and I don't know who they are until they text me. And if I don't save them, they continuously go to my spam. So, people think I'm being rude and not responding.
No, they're it's going into a spam account. I had no idea that was even happening.
But Beth, I don't think that's happening to you. I don't Beth, just let me know when you texted and I'll go back and find it. I don't know if I saw it. And did I talk to you?
I don't remember.
That's very odd.
Heather said, "Yep, I saw that, Heather." Thank you.
All right, so let's start.
I felt bad missing your text.
All right, before we start, I need to go use the bathroom. I drank way too much water. I'll be right back. And then we will talk about mushrooms. Be right back.
Okay.
Bola Scotty, how are you? She said, "Down and dirty, lol." including hickey details are not hickeys.
They're not hickeys. It's from my necklace. I really think it is.
I'm so jealous that my kids are going to Michigan. I love the air in Michigan.
It's so fresh.
So different than in Houston.
Beth said, "I follow the list on the website. Is that correct?" It is. That is correct.
Yep. They're actually I just double checked that the other day. So yes, it's 100% correct. Yes, please look up way.
Yeah, I I will, Heather.
Bite my bit said, "Are you going to have sample serums again? I want to test the stronger vitamin C." This is how we're handling that. Yes. Let's talk about that for a minute. Okay. So, yesterday the travel size got put back up.
Meaning, if you're traveling, you want the set, you buy it. All right.
This is how I'm handling this now. And actually, somebody messaged me this morning and it worked out very well.
If you want to try a sample or three, four, five, that's fine. There's no restriction on how many. Don't be like, "Oh my god, Julie thinks I'm taking too many." Julie doesn't think that way. But so what we're going to do is if you guys want I'm not I cannot leave them on the website. I can't. We've talked about this. I can't. So, what we're going to do is if people want to try sample size, like Bite My Bits just said, she wants to try a sample of the CE frick, I think is what she's saying. Um, so just message, we will create the order for you. We will add there's all 10, whatever you want. 2, 8, 10, doesn't matter. Not judging you. Tell us and then we will create the order for you.
So that and I'm I have to put that on the website. That's not on the website right now. So, that's how we're handling sample sizes. Now, if you don't want to pay for a sample size, now a sample size is big. I mean, it's like a luxury sample size. We're not talking a little dish. Um, if you just want like the little dish, like when you go to Sephora and you ask for a sample and they put it in like a little three gram little covered jar, if you just want that, then when you check out with your regular order, just say, "Hey, can I have a sample of blah blah blah, whatever."
Okay, that's how we're going to work it.
But if you want the ones that are bigger that you can try it for like a week or whatever, text us. You can hit the chat button.
Bayhbeauty.com. Hit the chat button. Can text whatever.
We'll create the order for you.
Beth Grinder said, "What mask is going to give you peeling?" Oh, that mask. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's called the um Guys, do I have dementia today? Why can't I think? Um, let me go grab it. Hang on. I'll show you guys because I'm going to do this.
I'm doing this this week. Hang on a second. Let me go grab it.
Okay, this is the mask. It's called the VI peel, but it's the precision plus.
And I don't even remember what's in this, you guys. Hang on.
But this burns, you guys. Like, this is not for This burns.
I don't even remember. Look, it it like comes with a whole We'll just take it all apart.
Okay. It comes with peptides, a towel, a peptides, first ingredient, alcohol denatured, but that's normal for a mask. I don't mind because it's just a onetime thing. But anyway, so what this does is it literally it has t if I remember correctly, this has te I bought this so long ago, I don't even remember. It has uh TCA in it, which is a peel.
Here, let's just bring it up because I don't want to misspeak.
the IPL precision plus when I was getting Botox back in like November, December, the girl that does the Botox, she um was selling these, so I I bought one, but I had I've done them before. Okay. The P uh Peel Precision Plus by by Vitality.
It focuses on stubborn discoloration.
It's specifically designed to address hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and melasma using a targeted a targeted what? Oh, using a targeted formula to create a more even and radiant complexion.
If you've been searching for a solution to stubborn skin discoloration, you you likely come across chemical peels, blah blah blah.
Yep, it is TCA. I thought it was. So, inside you'll find the TCA and phenol, P H E N O L, which work together to remove damaged skin layers and stimulate your body's natural collagen. So, that's another thing this does. The longer you keep this on, you have to follow the directions. I think you leave this on for like quite a while, but there's certain parts of it that burn if I remember correctly.
But as you do it, like it works on what I just said, discoloration and everything, but it also works on fine lines and everything because it's producing more collagen.
I haven't done one of these in like a few years. So, it speeds up cell turnover to reduce acne and inflammation. It finally, and then the last part of it is it adds a dose of vitamin C that provides antioxidant protection and it brightens your skin, blah blah blah. I'm not going to, but this is what um you guys can Google it and then you guys can read about it. That's what it's called. It's the VIP VIP peel precision plus peptides. I think I got it for like 22 225.
I don't I've seen them as high as 400.
Do not pay that much. You're getting ripped off. Don't pay that much. It should be around 22 225.
And make sure you're not getting an expired one because that's another thing people do. Make sure you're going to a reputable place cuz that would really stink to pay 200 bucks and to have it expired.
Yeah, I got mine right from my spa place. All right, so that's what I was talking about. Sorry. 25 minutes later.
Okay.
Did everyone do their keull today? Well, let me do it right now.
It's Skddy's happy birth. Sketty's birthday.
Happy birthday.
A I love that. Keigle time. Squeeze.
Relax. Squeeze.
Relax.
Squeeze.
Keep it going, girls.
Oh, how was that? Did you guys go to the casino last night? I forgot about that.
Was it fun?
Barb the cat. The pumpkin enzyme mask absorbs completely into my skin after 15 minutes. There's nothing to wipe off.
That's okay. That's fine. It It absorbs into mine, too. You're putting on the correct amount. Some people that overuse it, Barb, I don't want to say overuse it, but on put on too thick of a um put on too much. That requires a little wiping off, but yeah, you're just using the proper amount. It absorbs. It's gone. That's the end of the story. Do you like it, Barb? Is it helping you? Do you like the What? Do you like how it makes your skin feel?
Saw the Yep. Got the Barb the cat one.
All right, let me start this. I don't want to keep you guys here too long. I know it's a Sunday. You guys have work tomorrow.
Yes, we're going to talk about fungus right now. I mean, in a way, that was kind of like I mean, ooion truly is a related to fungus. I wasn't click baiting, but I just thought it was kind of a funny title. Here it says.
Okay. So, the reason I'm talking about this ergoionine today is because when I first released the hydroplum longevity essence, the um I think it was like $38.
Well, I had always had the intention of adding ergoionine to it, but the ingredient never came in. So, I I kind of forgot about it. If be perfectly honest, I forgot about the ingredient.
So, then all of a sudden, ergoine gets delivered and I'm like, "Oh crap." Which was fine. I had already accounted for it to be in the formula, but I had forgotten that it wasn't because it had t it took forever to get the powder. So, I was like, "Okay, cool." So the next time we made a batch, we reformulated it. But then I remembered how expensive ergoionine was. It's not a cheap ingredient. You can Google that one and I'll spell it out for you guys. I'll show you guys.
So because of that, we had to raise the um the price of the essence. And I just felt that I owed you guys an explanation as to why. So and so tonight, that's kind of it's not going to take long. I'm just going to get into exactly what ergoionine does, how cool of an ingredient it is, and that will give you the explanation as to why the price was raised. What ergoionine has to do with um mushrooms is mushrooms make ergoionine.
We can't. So, mushrooms make that ingredient, which I thought was kind of cool. So, our body, like our bodies can make so many different things, but ionine it cannot make. It's a powerful antioxidant and fungi are one of the only living things that can produce it.
Plants, animals, and humans don't make it at all. We only get it by eating it.
And mushrooms are by far the richest food source. Our bodies even have a special doorway. They p they pull ergoine into cells and stashes it in places that take a lot of oxid oxidative wear like the skin, the eyes, and the liver. That's a big clue. It's doing something useful for us. So that's what the whole mushroom link is to um ergoionine.
So now I'm going to talk to you guys about what ergoionine does in our skin and why I felt it was important to add it to the essence and to keep it in the essence. And I'm telling you you guys like it's been added. The majority of you already have it in it. It was like the first week of people if you paid Well, we just upped the price like a few days ago. But um if your label doesn't have erggoanine on it, then you don't have it. But the next time you order it, it will. That's kind of how you're going to know if you're getting this or not.
But since I've been using the essence with erggoanine in it, like my face, it just I don't know, something crazy. It's a good ingredient. Anyway, okay. Um so let me just get into this. It says, "Everything your skin does everything your skin does to stay young, making collagen, repairing itself, turning over new cells, and holding its structure. All of that runs on energy."
Hang on. Of course, my voice goes.
I give up.
Okay? All of that runs on energy. And that energy gets made inside your cells by something called the mitochondria.
We're not going to get science, you guys. Don't worry. But I this I want you guys to understand this. Sorry, I'm shaking my whole thing.
So the they take nutrients in and oxygen and turn them into ATP and that's the actual uh fuel that your cells run on. When the mitochondria slow down, the whole cell slows down with them. And your skin is one of the hungriest and neediest tissues. So what happens when our cells aren't getting what it needs?
Over the years, your mitochondria takes damage from oxidative stress. What's oxidative stress? It's the free radicals that come in at your skin from things like UV rays and pollution. As they take the hit, they make less energy. So, as this stuff damages your mitochondria, it takes in less energy, energy, and that's a huge part of structural aging. Skin that repairs slower, makes less collagen, starts to look thinner and tired. It's not just the surface, it's the cells running low on power. So, does that make sense? I hope that makes sense. Less ATP, less fuel in your mitochondria is what makes our skin start to look older, give it the fine lines, lose the laxity, lose the collagen. You start to lose like that structure under your skin. That's all because I mean it's from a few reasons, but it's from the mitochondria not getting what it needs because we have to fuel our we have to fuel it. The ATP, we have to you have to keep that fueled up the mitochondria.
So now that you understand what's happening, this is exactly why I added the ergoionine. This is why um it's the ingredient that ultimately raise the price which I already talked about.
Okay, most antioxidants work outside the mitochondria. They do good work they do good they do good they do claude what they do good work out in the rest of the cell but they can't actually get inside the mitochondria. That's where your energy is made and where so much of the damage lands. Erggoanine is one of the very few that actually can get carried into the mitochondria. So ergoionine is one of the few ingredients on the market that can actually get past and get into the mitochondria. And it does that I'm not I'm just going to touch on this just so it makes sense. It has a dedicated transporter called OCTN1.
and it physically pulls in the ergoionine into the mitochondria.
So when I say my skin starting to look better, it like kind of makes sense. So it works right inside the mitochondria neutralizing the free radicals that make its way all the way in. So, when we go outside and we're getting hit with um ultraviolet rays, pollution, uh when we're drinking too much alcohol, all of that, those are all free radical um things that they're free radicals that damage your cells. And ergoine, it helps what's actually going on inside of the mitochondria.
So what this means for your skin, by protecting the mitochondria from the damage, ergoanine helps your skin cells hold on to their energy. And that energy is what they use to make collagen repair and hold their structure. So supporting that can help your skin stay firmer and fuller over time instead of thinning and losing its bounce the way it does when the cells are running low on power or ATP.
It pairs well the so another ingredient in this essence is acetto zingerone and the reason I'm talking about these two there's awesome ingredients in this whole essence but I'm focusing on these two because I don't think many people have heard of acetto zingerone and ergoine I think you guys have probably heard of the other ingredients in there but these two are they're very unusual ingredients and I'm not saying you can't find other products with them you can it's just not they're just not very common that's all I'm So it pairs pairs perfectly with acetal zingarone which is also in the essence uh it h so acetto zingerone handles the outside layer.
So picture the acetal zingone helps in the front. It catches free radicals right at the surface before they ever sink in but no surface defense catches everything. So some slip through and travel deeper and then exactly where erggo and that's where erggoanine takes over it's working inside the mitochondria. So that's the whole premise of why I added ergoionine because I think it's so important to keep that mitochondria healthy and fueled up and this ingredient helps you do that.
There we have it. That's why I added it and that's why there's like an extra what is it5 or $6 increase to the essence.
And now we're going to talk about EGF and DNA. But hang on, let me get back here for a minute.
Nona um said, "Lighten and brightening.
Will it help with random age spots?"
Yes, it should. I mean, it's helped with mine and it's helped with a lot of people. Um just be careful. And I've said this before, but I know we have some new people here. If anybody gets their eyebrows, what's that called? Like when you guys get them, is it I don't know if it's tattooed.
What's it called, you guys? Um I'm sure you're all saying it. I'm just not that low on the chat yet. Just be careful not to get the advanced brightening lightening near your eyebrows.
Microladed. That's what they're called.
Uh when you get it microladed because it literally will take the color away.
That's how powerful it is. There's five different ingredients in there that tackle hyperpigmentation. So, it's a it's not like I don't mean burning powerful strong. It's you're not even going to feel it. I'm just saying it's powerful because there's five different ingredients in there that target brightening and lightening. Most companies only use like two, but I put five in there, so it's pretty pretty potent.
Eileenie said, "I get a lot of redness, pinky cheeks. I have been using Polish Choice Aelic Acid Booster. I'm excited for Julie's to come out." A I'll look at I have to look at hers, too. Yeah, I have to look at what she's done.
I'm getting caught up. Okay, I'm getting there.
Heather said, "Wait, the chat stopped."
All right, let's go. Uh, all right. I don't see any question marks.
Hi, Nefarious Shenanigans.
Thank you. Happiness again. I think it's a fair way. She said, "Good way to handle the sample sizes." I think it's fair because then everybody wins. You guys can get what you need. You can try what you want. No judgment. And we're not filling a thousand little sample sizes a day.
It's a win-win.
Yes, Dr. Trey. The pumpkin mask is included. Yes. In the sale, I mean, sometimes we I usually I'm not going to get up and I'm not going to ask anybody to go turn off our sale off. I mean, I could have the when we create the sale, you can do like an end date on it. I never do. So, until somebody turns it off tomorrow, the sale just runs. So, don't freak out. It It's still going to be live tonight. Don't worry about it.
It's not like at midnight it shuts off.
That's not the way we run this. It'll I'll probably shut it off. I don't know.
We'll Somebody will shut it off tomorrow.
Shirley said, "I need it. I've had two chemical peels from estheticians, strong ones, and had very, very little peeling around my nose." Yeah, Shirley, I would have to know which one it was. I just know I've done I I never pay to get my peels done. I just think it's a waste.
But if you're not care if you're first you have to be very careful to follow the directions because you could burn your skin. So for those of you who aren't comfortable, I highly advise you to go get it done professionally if you're comfortable to do it at home. I mean obviously a lot of people do because they sell these online. I mean my esthetician sold me one. You know what I mean? So but I'm telling you with this one like you guys I get I would get like snake now. Maybe because I've done it a couple times before, this time I won't peel as bad. I don't know. But it's just one of those things. It's like, and I don't mind coming on here with peely skin. Like, I really don't care. I don't I will probably kind of be cool for you guys to see it. So, I think I might actually do it.
I actually I might do it I'll probably do it like Thursday.
I think I might do it Thursday and then I'll go live Friday. And then Tuesday, you guys will see probably the final results. or Tuesday I might be peeling like a snake. I don't know. We'll I have no clue. I haven't done one in like a year.
Yes, Katherine. The mask is a chemical.
This mask is a chemical peel. Yes. Not the pumpkin mask. No, that's just a glycolic lact lactic acid. But yes, this is a chemical peel. Yes.
Dr. Dr. Trey said, "I just did a TCA peel with my I remember you told me that, Dr. Trey, and I'm a terrible friend. I forgot to ask you how it turned out."
Uh, Kristen, what did she say about the sample sizes? What I said about the sample sizes is if So, there's now a travel set, which we put back on the website. So, if you travel and you want the whole set, um, you can do that. Just go buy that. The whole set. I think there's 10 pieces.
If you don't want all that, you're like, "Oh, I don't want all that." Fine. Now, you will message us either through the chat button or through text and just say, "Hey, I want to purchase some sample sizes. Let us know which ones."
We will create the order. Send the order to you. And then you guys, okay, and then the order is created. So, that's how we're handling the 10 g sample sizes, trial sizes, I should say. They're more than a sample size.
Now, Kristen, just in case you missed this, if somebody um places an order and they're like, "H, I really just want to try like a little bit of the camide. I just want to see what it feels like or whatever." Then that will be free and you'll just get like a little 2 g jar with the product in it. But that's free.
That would be enough for you guys to use for like two days or whatever, maybe three, depending on how heavy-handed you are.
Barb the cat said, "Yes, the enzyme mask is awesome. I wake up with really soft skin." I love the pumpkin enzyme mask.
You know, when I first formulated that, I was a little bit more timid and I think I just had like lactic acid and pumpkin enzymes in it. And then, um, as time went on, I'm like, I love glycolic acid. Like, I love it. in plenty of products out there on the market that use glycolic acid, but it's like I want to use it, too. So, I added um 5% glycolic to that. So, I mean, you guys, that pumpkin mask, it can be a little tingly, you know, don't be surprised, but it should never burn and it should never turn your skin like bright red, but like tingle and a little pink. Yeah.
So, you just have to know your skin.
Fisk Getty said, "I went. Jess was awesome." What people are talking about is Jess Machado, who has a YouTube channel from Massachusetts. She's an independent journalist. She was at a casino somewhere in Boston um or Massachusetts, I don't know, Somerset, I don't know where she lives, uh last night and a few followers showed up.
That's what she's talking about. So, Boliske said, "I went. Jeff was awesome.
Jess was awesome. found her on a slot machine. Jeff, which is her husband, was awesome, too. Went with my daughter.
Always great to talk to Jess. I love that. I'm glad you had fun.
I was watching this video. I just saw somewhere. Oh, I saw a sea of Atlas. And I know this different, but I was thinking of, you know, that um hotel in is it Bahamas or wherever? It's like the Atlanta or something. Do you guys know what I mean? Atlanta or something? I don't know. I just thought of that beautiful water and I want beautiful water. I want to go to the Caribbean. I want to go to Turks and Caos.
Heather said ergoine is the mushroom super ingredient. Oh, you're just repeating what I said. Okay. Sorry.
Thought she had a question.
Guys, I'm almost caught up. I'm at 7:31.
We need the magic mushrooms. No joke.
Biscotti said, "Dr. Trey, my dad used to say erggo all the time. That was a nice flashback. No one used to understand what he was talking about when I was young. Ergoine or is erggo another meaning?
Claude is unnoticed. No, I stuttered.
Claude did good. No, I wrote this one and then I had Claude put it. That was actually me writing that one. I spent time on this one. I I put everything all my thoughts together and then I told Claude to put it into a paragraph form.
So, no, those were my thoughts.
That's why I said I'm prepared for this one.
Oh, Brazilian wax. Eeks.
Shell. Hell. What are my reason? I have never had a Brazilian wax. Never. I um I've been I do laser. I I don't anymore.
I have done laser. Um actually my underarm I had done hair like laser there and I never get hair under my arms anymore. I never have to shave under my arms. Um but we were actually my husband and I we were in the process of going through like a laser.
Um it was through uh Groupon but the place was like awesome. It was really close to our house. This was back in 2020 and I we made it through like almost all of our sessions enough that my underarm hair has never grown back but like I did bikini line and everything and that took like more time and then COVID happened and we couldn't finish it. So, and I just never went back. Yeah, I've never done the Brazilian way. I can't imagine you guys.
I mean, I don't care within reason. I know they see it all day. whatever. I just don't know if I could do it.
I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know if I could do it.
And I've seen people do it in the position you have to get in and then the ripping. Oh, I just I just don't know. I don't know if I could do it, guys. Can you guys do that?
Eekes. Do you guys remember uh Sex in the City when um what's her face? Uh the the star of it um Sarah Kajesca Parker, whatever her name was, I don't remember, but uh she went and got it done. Oh my god, it was so funny.
I don't know.
Dr. Trey said, "Can you review who benefits most from the EGF?" Yes, that is our next topic.
I have that written out in front of me, too. I took notes.
And Claude put it in paragraph form so I could read through it. Shirley said there were VI chemical peels. PCA was last.
Wait, what? Shirley said they were VI chemical peels. PCA was last one. Oh, are you talking about yourself? You went and got a PCA. I don't know what a PCA was. PCA.
I don't know what that is.
Eileen said, "If I ordered the essence last Monday, yes, it has the ergoane in it." Yeah, people the I'm not calling you guys people. I'm saying like people that ordered it. Uh customers that ordered it, it's been in there.
It was just like that first week that it wasn't. No, it's been in there for like two weeks.
TCA not okay surely t TCA I get I'm like what's a PCA? I'm like I don't know what that is. Not that I know everything but Oh, good night Amy. Have a good night.
Oh, is Sea Star here? Did I miss her?
Oh, hi Sea Star. Sea Star. How are you?
Say that five times. Ha. Tingle shell hell. Don't you Don't you get me going.
I had to go tinkle. Yeah.
Lincoln, Rhode Island was where the casino was last night. Oh, no clue where that is. Was there a sonic boom? Heather told me there was a Well, actually, I think I told Heather there was a little issue in Massachusetts last yesterday. Atlantis. Yes. Happiness again. That's it. Atlantis.
You want to go to the Maldes? Pretty please. I say go for it.
Nefarious is shell. Moist, plump, and tingly. Is there anything better?
All right.
I I did waxing as a job. You did, Nefarious. Yeah, that's what I mean.
It's like they see it all. Like I that doesn't embarrass me. I think it's more the pain. I just don't know if I can do it.
No, I'm all about lasering. Like the laser I can do.
But my bit said I could do it. Just take a good bath and shower first. Really get in there and you'll be fine. Yeah. I think it's one of those things like once you do it once it's like no big deal.
Yes. Sonic boom near um Cape Cod.
Crazy. What is going on you guys? Like craziness is happening.
Heather said, "No, I totally shook." Oh, you did shake your house. I thought you Oh, cuz I know I texted you and I asked you like, "What is that?" Or I sent you a story, I think, right? But I didn't realize it affected you.
Wow. It's crazy. It's getting spicy in here.
Sha, I don't know what Boogie Nights is, girl.
No, I knew you told me a meteor hit, Heather. No, no, no. I knew that. I'm just saying I didn't know it affected your house. That's what I'm saying. I didn't know you felt it. No, I knew you told me a meteor hit. I remember that. I just didn't realize you felt it. That was where the confusion came in. Yeah, I remember you telling me all that.
Oh my god, you guys. This is hilarious.
I went yesterday supposedly. I didn't, but I did. I was uh I drove to go get my hair colored because if you were remember on Friday, I said, "Oh, I'm going to get my hair colored the next day." Yesterday drive, right? It's like a 4550 minute drive. My husband came with me. I get there and it's like I walked in and I'm like something just felt off. I went in because it's like a really small salon.
is like where the girl colors is in one little room and then where the guy cuts is in a different um room, but that's it. So, I walk in, I'm like, "Hey guys, how are you?" Blah blah blah. And I turn in and I see Tamara is doing a girl's hair in the chair and then she's got somebody waiting and I'm like, "That's not normal because she's like she's slow." So, I knew there's no way she would have two plus me. Like, there's just no way. So, I'm like, "God, this something's off." So, then Emil, that's the guy that cuts my hair. He was kind of like just twitting around there and I'm like, and I don't know what made me, but I looked at my phone and I brought up our chat, our text, and it said June 6th at 10:00 a.m. Yesterday was the 30th, so I was a week early. So, I had to turn around, go home. I didn't get my hair done. And everybody's like, "Julie, you don't even need to get your hair done." I'm like, "You guys, I have grays. What are you talking about? Look at all those grays. You can see them right there. Grays. Gray hair." Like, I needed it, but I can wait another week.
Dr. Trey Eileen, I did purchase an at home laser that I like that I did mine professionally, but wanted this for the chin whiskers to do my legs. Sucker works. You know what? That's not a bad idea. Maybe I should buy a hair laser.
It's better than always shaving. I hate always shaving. I hate shaving.
Uh, Barb the Cat, I have a makeup question. Nikki LaRose recommended Maxine's Revenge Under Eye Concealer.
Have you heard of it?
No, but I can bring it up. Actually, Barb, I'm going to start that. Let me just talk real quick about the EGF and copper and then we'll look up um products because I want to look up at that whey thing, too.
And I don't want to shut out a claude and then have to get back into it. So, let me finish this. It's going to take like two minutes. And then we will go look at products. All right. I've been getting questions about not so much about the copper serum. Am I getting too loud? I feel like my microphone's too close. I've been getting questions about uh epidermal growth factor. And I don't even know if I've been fully explaining it right to be perfectly honest. So, I did like a deep dive into um the epidermal growth factor with DNA repair that's on the website and I did the copper and I put my notes in and my back is Why did my back so bad?
>> Since my husband's not here, I need to use scissors. Um oh my god, it's so best to have your back scratched.
Much better. Um, so I'm just going to break down real quick what uh each does.
Uh, copper serum. So people that could benefit from the copper serum. If uh copper serum is your collagen, it's a collagen builder. That's what the copper So and when I say copper, it's a peptide. It's called tripeptide 1 and it's the GHKCU and it's the blue one. If it's not blue, and I mean blue, then you're either getting jipped or they didn't add enough because you're supposed to add it at 1%.
Not more, not less. I mean, you can add it at less, but I wouldn't. Okay. So, we're talking about the blue one. That's what the copper is.
Okay. Uh, so the copper serum is your is your collagen builder. Copper peptides signal your skin to make fresh collagen and elastin and rebuild the support structure underneath.
So if your main concern is firmness, bounce, elasticity, or fine lines, copper is your serum. That's the one you're going to want to look at. It's gentle. It's also great for healing, and it makes a beautiful foundational serum.
You can start early on, okay? Blah blah.
Okay. Now, epidermal growth factor with DNA repair and uh in the one that I formulated, I put two different forms of epidermal growth factor in it. And then I also put super oxide disysmatase, which is like a super powerful antioxidant. So, it's called SOD. That's the short version if you ever want to read about it. So, there's two different there's olopeptide 1 in it. There's um is it hexapeptide 3 or octapeptide 3 I think it's octtopeptide 3 and uh the super oxide disysmatase plus other ingredients but those are like the three activives. Okay. So the EGF with DNA repair is your repair and renew serum.
The DNA repair enzyme supports your skin in repairing the sun and UV damage that builds up over the years. And the EGF is a renewal signal that wakes up tired, sluggish, and gets it rebuilding. Tired, sluggish skin and gets it rebuilding.
So, this is the one you reach for when there's already damage undo. See, and I was misspeaking. I I and I don't know why I kept saying this. I thought that the EGF was like for people that don't see the damage yet, but as I dug into this more, I was wrong. I was 100% wrong. Okay, so let me reread that. Uh, the DNA repair enzyme supports your skin in repairing the sun and UV damage that builds up over the years. And the EGF is a renewal signal that wakes up tired, sluggish skin, and gets it to rebuilding. So, this is the one you reach for when there's already damage to undo, such as sunspots, dullness, years of sun, uh, skin that just isn't bouncing back, is especially beautiful for mature or sunexposed skin. And I think that's what I was telling people.
I'm like, you know, if you've been in the sun and you don't see the damage yet, this is what you would use, which I mean, it's technically true, but it's also good if you already see the damage.
And that's where I was misspeaking, so I apologize.
Uh, they do work together. A lot of people use both the copper to build the structure and the EGF and DNA repair to repair the damage. So, the copper would be like something that would go deeper into your skin. It's the signaling peptide that goes deep and tries doesn't try it rebuilds your collagen and elastin and everything and the EGF and DNA repair the damage on the top. So it would almost work perfect with the advanced lightning brightening serum.
That is what will target your discoloration and your sun damage or use one or the other. That's your choice. I I use them all but I mean whatever. Uh, another question I get is, can I use the copper EGF and the retinol together?
Yes, you can. We've already talked about how you layer them. Now, for people that, again, we've talked about this before and I'm going to say it again.
For people that are new to skin care and who have maybe never used a lot of peptides, have never used retinol, we cannot just go and throw all of this at your skin. Some people can handle it, but I've also heard, you know, matter of fact, somebody's sister in the chat, Barb, not Barb, Beth, um, you know, you have to be careful. There's certain people that can just their skin's tolerant and they can throw everything at it and they're totally fine. And then there's some that your skin is like, "No, this is too much." And then you're going to damage that whole barrier and it's a mess. So I can't tell you who can tolerate it all at once and who can't. I have absolutely no clue. So the best thing is is for somebody who has never used peptides or retinol is just to start slow like maybe the camide hyaluronic acid serum and maybe just the copper serum or maybe just the retinol cream or maybe just the epidermal growth factor but not all of them. And then once you find your skin can tolerate that, and I'm not talking hydrating water gel moisturizer or saki extract face moisturizer. Most people can tolerate those. Not saying. Although somebody the other day told me that the um hydrating water gel was causing her skin to tingle. But again, maybe she has a sensitivity to something in that that she didn't even know she had. Maybe she has a sensitivity to the CoQ10. You know what I mean? Like that's why it's like I I can't cover like what issue everybody has. It's impossible for me to do. All I can say is if there's a problem like let's figure it out and talk about it.
But that's why you have to be careful and you have to listen to your skin. So people that are tolerant who have been on peptides and retinol then chances are your skin can tolerate all of this. But again if you haven't then start slow. So that's kind of um yeah and then the cereami which I already talked about. So that's that.
Any questions on that and then I will go back to answer um questions about what was it weey and what Barb the cat just asked me.
All right, let me answer um Barb the cat's question.
Hang on. You know what you guys? I had the monitor up above me. Let me bring it down cuz I can't even I can barely even see my monitor right now. Hang on. We need to do a little relocation one minute. I don't want to lose any of my little packets. Sorry. Let me mute you guys for a minute. I'm sure I'm loud. Hang on.
Okay, much better.
All right. Uh, Nikki La Rose Maxines.
Okay, let me look it up.
Max Oops. Maxine's Revenge under eye concealer. Hey Barb, did the little bit of Botox that you got in your eye, did that ever help? I'm not muted anymore, am I? No. Did that ever help you?
All right.
Is this it? Maxine's revenge. Yeah, I think this is what she said.
Okay.
What's the difference? Is it two-sided?
I'm confused.
Why is there so many different ingredient decks?
I'm confused.
What am I missing, guys? Why is there so many different ingredients here? Let me zoom in for you guys.
Ingredients.
And then down here there's more ingredients. Are they the same ingredients? Oh, maybe they're just different sizes.
Okay. I guess they're just different sizes. I don't know. Okay. Anyway. All right. Water. Yeah. Fine. Fine. Fine.
Poly six is fine. Hoba esters.
Yeah, it's a nice um Hang on, I dropped this. It's nice and I think it would be pretty emolient from what I'm seeing.
It's It's going to be really emoleant.
There's like sunflower seed oil, silica that's thickens it. There's Hoba esters, which is a thickening mechanism, but it also uses like a Hoba, which is like Hoba oil. Uh almond oil is awesome.
Caprillic triglyceride. Yeah, I actually think it'll be super emollient. Barb, Barb, you're doing so good lately. I mean, I'm impressed. I'm proud of you, girl. Good job. Yay.
All right. And then we wanted to look up Weey products, didn't we? I don't even know how to spell. O A UI.
Was there any particular product in general? Weey.
I've used their shampoo, their conditioner.
Um, I've used their like their wave spray because I love the way it smells.
Yeah, we should look at at home lasers.
We can do that. Yeah, Dr. Trey, say the let us know the one you're using.
Shelly got in trouble asking for popcorn by me.
Can't even imagine. I would have freaked out if I felt a boom.
Eekes, Heather. How funny. Able is getting blissfully unaware. I love that.
Oh, this is the You know what stinks. Hang on.
Here. Let me try to copy it. I can't.
Crap.
Hey, Dr. Trey. I It stinks. I can't um I can't click on that link. Can you uh just send me the name of it and I'll look it up. I'm actually curious. Not to see if it's good. I'm sure it's good.
You're using it.
I'm just curious what it's like.
Hippie Chick said, "I have mixed connective tissue disorder.
Have you heard of that? My skin had no elasticity and very little collagen and I bruise easily." I have heard of that.
Yeah.
Is there anything you can do to help that or is it just kind of one of those things you have to work with and live with?
There's also um actually I'm curious. I want to wait till Dr. I see what one Dr. Trey uses because I know I know of one too. I'm curious if it's the same one.
No, it's just there. That stinks.
I didn't know if there's like supplements or something, you know.
All right, let's look at um Weey.
I don't really know which one we want to look at, but here. These are Weey products, but they're very good. See this? Um, there's one scent I like better than the other.
It's this. So, I used the texturing wave spray. Oops. I used um the texturing wave spray because I like the smell.
It's the What scent is this one?
Oh, here. So, I like the jackf fruit.
That's funny. That's jack fruit in there. Um, right here it features bergamo, apple blossom, raspberry, Italian lemon, middle notes of rose, demi, jasmine, and violet. This is the scent like this is the scent one I like. They have another one that I don't like. So, I always whenever and I don't use it often, but whenever I buy anything, I always make sure it has that scent pro that scent profile.
But this is a totally clean brand for hair care.
I mean, they're really good ingredients.
I mean, there's perfume, but there's always I mean, most shampoos have perfume. There's nothing you can do about that.
I know you could buy shampoos without it. I get that. I'm just saying for the most part, you buy a shampoo because you like the way it smells. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's just a really clean brand. Was there something in particular?
Okay, let's look at um I want to look at hair lasers.
I'll leave way up just in case somebody wants to has a question cuz I know that that face laser I have for um anti-aging, they have a hair laser, too.
I'm still waiting. Dr. Trey, do you did you tell me which one you're using?
Oh, you just texted it to me. Cool.
Be fast too, if you could retext me about your sister. I'm sorry. I don't know um when you texted me and I don't know how I missed it, but I did. I'm sorry, but you're using the Brun IPL.
All right, let me look at that. I just want to look at one thing first and then I'll look at that one.
I don't mean look at it to tell you if it's good. I don't mean that. I want one for myself.
All right, let's bring it up. I can't find the one I was talking about. on IPL row five.
So this is the one you use.
It's highly rated intense pulse device delivering permanent visible. See this is what I need. And you know what, you guys, if you think about it, it's like, yeah, it's expensive, but when you uh 20% cash back. Jesus, I should buy it now. 20% cash back through Rakuten. Do you guys use Rakuten?
Rakuten. R A K U Ten. It's a discount um website. I don't think it's an app. I think it's a website. And you sign up for it. And then if you go shopping at whatever, even for this Brun thing, you put in like um a PayPal account or they'll send you a check, whatever you're comfortable with, and you get money back. So for this Braun thing, I would get It's not showing on my screen.
I don't know. It must be It cuts it off, but it says activate cash back and I would be getting 20% cash back for buying this right now. It literally says right here, 20% cash back. So, when I check out, I'll check out exactly like I normally would, but I'm now checking out through Rakuten and I get 20% off. I mean, I don't get 20% off. They send you money later. You know what I mean? So, I would get like $60 back for ordering this through Racen.
And I think I have a referral code for Raqq10. I think if anybody wants it, just let me know. I think it saves you money and it gives me money if I remember. Anyway, yeah, I need to buy a laser because what I'm thinking is like it's like you go and you pay somebody to get laser and I know it's not cheap and here I mean yeah you're paying 350 or whatever but it's a onetime thing.
I think I'm going to get one. I know my husband would use it too.
Did anyone see um see me on TV?
No, haven't seen you.
Beth said, "Hopefully Julie will see. We want the name of the mask that causes peeling." Oh, I answered you, Beth.
Maybe you missed it. It was this one.
It's the VIP peel, the precision plus peptides.
And then it comes with all of this stuff. And then you just have to follow the directions. That's uh that's what it is. It ranges around 22 250. Actually, let's bring it up. Let's find out the exact price. I got mine through my esthetician.
Let me bring it up.
But you definitely have to follow the directions and be careful or go go to a professional if you're not comfortable.
Precision plus peptides.
But if you do choose to do it, make sure you do the precision plus because the other one's not as strong.
Here, I'll bring it up.
Here it is. See, it's a medium depth chemical peel designed to which I already read you. I'm not going to read all this again, but here it is.
Let me zoom in.
How do I get rid of that? That's annoying. I already read all this. I'm just trying to find a price.
Where's the price?
Oh, here.
See? 415. That's too much. That's way too much. I paid two and I didn't get some deal from my esthetician. Not at all. Okay. See, $2.49. And if you guys need help, we can find like a reputable place. This This is a normal price. 2 to 250. Anything over that. And I know that's true here. 220.
And I know this is true because when I was talking to um Ann, my aesthetician or she she had done my Botox.
She said she's like, "Yeah, you know, they told me I could sell it for like $400 and I like looked at her like but no, she sell Yeah, this is a fair price. Oh, that's not But these are fair prices, but just make sure it's a reputable place and make sure it's not expired. If you guys need help finding one, I can help you.
Yeah, I'm excited. I'm going to do it.
You guys can see the process.
Uh Nona said, "Saki bomb cleanser or exfoliating cleanser or both?" Saki cleansing.
It's my favorite.
It's um I don't know if you've seen it, but it comes in a balm and when you put it on your skin, it um it's like an oil.
It goes on as an oil and then as it gets wet, it emulsifies into like a white I don't want to exaggerate. It's not like a crazy foam that bubbles. It's not. But it it definitely emulsifies like into a white emulsification. I don't know how to explain it. And then that's what's breaking down all your dirt and your makeup and your SPF and whatever you have on. And then you rinse. And then you could either do that a second time.
Or you could use whatever cleanser you're using now a second time. Or you could use the exfoliating cleanser a second time. You can do whatever you want. But I highly recommend double cleanse. That's what a lot of people do.
They've been that double cleanse became like a thing quite a few years ago. So start with the saki cleansing balm and then whatever you choose as your second cleanse. That's your choice.
Uh, Hippie Chick said, "I bought the mineral sunblock the other day." You said, "I like it." A, I'm glad. Which one did you get, Hippie Chick?
Dr. Trey said, uh, the best thing to do is to go to her website and click the chat. Julie want to ask you about your skin. That is true.
Yep.
Some girl online said, "Yeah, it burns."
Yeah. Here, I'll hold it up again, you guys.
VIP precision plus peptides.
Make sure you're going to a reputable place, though.
I'm trying to see where the expiration date is on these. I know they have them.
I don't know. But you guys, like literally look at all of these different things you do. I know. You put something in like a if I don't even remember. It starts with Oh, yeah. Cuz here's a little cup. Yeah, there's a cup. So, you start with like one of these and you put it in the cup and then you put it on with like gauze and they give you gloves and then if I remember correctly, you let that like sit on your face for like a long time, you know. Does this one burn? Hang on.
Because I've done so many peptide peels.
Hang on one second. Does it burn? Cuz I know some do. I lied. I am a liar. This one does not burn, you guys. No. No. The VIP Profision. No, the VIP peel Precision Plus does not cause a traditional burning sensation. My error.
Uh though you will feel a mild warm tingling for 3 to 5 minutes during application.
The formula contains phenol which quickly acts as a numbing agent. That's why it doesn't burn. Okay, that makes sense.
I've done just plain TCA peels before without the phenol in it, you guys. That burns like you wouldn't even believe.
You put on like uh I would do like a 35 or 40% TCA peel with no numbing in it.
That's where I'm getting confused. And you put it on your skin and within like 30 seconds, you're going to see a white frosting. Not frosting, a white like frost. and it's eating through your layers and then they give you or you have to make your own with baking soda.
They give you something to neutralize it. So the minute that starts happening, you have to be really careful because you can burn your skin. It's actually kind of scary. So this one I feel better recommending because this isn't as uh scary. I forgot this one doesn't burn. Sorry, I lied.
says, "You may experience a warm sunburn-l like sensation or a slight itching, but it resolves very quickly.
Many patients describe it as being easier than extractions." It says, "The peeling process, you typically won't experience burning since you typically won't experience burning sensations after you leave the clinic or do it at home. By day three to six, your skin will actively flake and peel, but it should feel tight rather than raw or painful.
So that's the deal with it. So yeah, it sounds actually more tolerable. Yeah, I forgot. My bad.
Shra, let me know how you can contort yourself into that. Have at it.
Beth said, "I did have the VIPL done by a nurse practitioner." Yeah, that's probably the safer way to go.
I don't, Beth. I have nothing to do with that. No.
No. I mean, I could certainly ask the girl that did my Botox and maybe set like mail you one, but no, I have like nothing to do with this at all. No.
and Heather. So, Nona, um the exfoliating cleanser, it's a very um it's not like a burning cleanser. I know it's called the exfoliating cleanser, but it's because there's like very uh low percentage of a natural glycolic and lactic acid in it, but it's not like what's in the pumpkin um face mask. It's just it's almost made out of like sugar.
Uh the bilberry and the bear uh what's in it? Like here, let me tell you what's in it. Let's bring it up here. Let me show you because I don't want you guys to be confused with that. Hang on a second.
Oops. I just clicked off of me here. Let me log in to my website.
here. Let me show you.
So, I just don't want you to think that this is like some crazy burning um cleanser cuz it's not.
So, it has um here, see this is it's not coming from like the chemical glycolic acid. It's coming from a sugar sugar fermented glycolic which is much more gentle. Uh it's coming there is lactic acid in it but it's coming from sugar cane uh lemon extract sweet sweet orange fruit extract. They're not um essential oils don't they're not essential oils and sugar maple extract.
So it's just a very gentle form of a very um easy exfoliation.
And when you use it every day, your skin does become brighter. But it's not like the pumpkin mask. The pumpkin mask is the true glycolic and the true gactic acid, the chemical form of it. This is like a a fruit form of it. Totally different.
So, just so you there's no confusion there. But yeah, it it's not going to like peel your skin or anything crazy.
It's very very gentle. And it now comes in a 4 oz bottle. But I have to fix that. It's not glass. It actually is plastic. We have to fix that. But anyway, that's what it looks like.
And then for whoever asked earlier about the subscribe and save here. So let's say you wanted this every 35 days. You would get it for 11 instead of 1250. And then every 35 days it's sent to you without you guys having to reorder it.
That's how it works.
That's how that works.
you love. Oh, hail the equalizer says, "I love Rakquten." Yeah, I use Raqqen for everything, you guys. And then like I forget if it's every one month or every three months. All of a sudden, money will just like appear on my PayPal account because I use it every time I shop online. Now, every not every store offers raquten, but the ones that do, it'll pop up in the corner and it'll say, "Do you want to activate your raquten?" Like for that brawn thing, it said, "Do you want to activate your raquten and save 20%." And I'm like, "Heck yeah, I do." That's how it works.
So now when I check out in one or three months or whatever it is, it'll give me a PayPal. It'll give me a PayPal payout.
A PayPal payout. Haha, that's fun.
Bye. Shall Nona said, "Thanks, Heather. I was reading through the how to apply and it confused me." The Saki cleansing balm.
Renee uses it, too. Yeah. Raqq10. I'm glad you guys have heard about it. I didn't know if it was a common.
You sent it since you've been on, Beth.
I'm like, hold on, guys.
Yeah, I did get it. I got to save your um it it went into my spam. That's why I hesitated. I have to save your name.
Hang on a second.
It went into my spam thing. That's why I didn't see it, which is weird because we've talked we've talked before, but whatever. Okay, there. Now, you won't go to spam anymore. All right, I'll read it when we're done. Thank you.
Shirley said, "Vitality Institute Provision and Peel was the name of the peel Julie showed."
Was it really? I thought it was a VIP peel.
Oh, I see. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Vitality Institute. Yeah, you read that right there. Yes. Sorry. I'm like, what?
You're right.
Nefarious said, "I want to buy the laser, too. Are we just all going to be buying lasers tonight?" That bronze going to be like, "What the heck? Why did I just get five orders?" Rakuten.
Madam Steno, totally. Rakuten is like getting free money. Yeah. Actually, let me see if I have a code for you guys because I think I don't care about for myself, but I think Hang on, let me go to Rakuten real quick. I think if you use it with somebody else's referral, it gives you guys something. Let me see.
Okay, shop and dine in person and earn cash back. See, even Macy's, uh, take an extra 25% off at Macy's.
Let me see if I have any referral here.
Rewards. How does this work?
Okay. Yeah, $50 referral bonus. Invite a friend and you'll both earn $50 when they spend 50.

I don't see my reward.
Oh, invite a friend.
Oh, here's my link.
Oh, here I'll I'll put it in here. So, and again, you guys don't have to use this. I'm just trying to save you guys money. I don't really care. It's B A Y.
Okay, first let me tell you where to go.
So, you have to go to rackut 10.com. That's the name of the That's the name of the site. And then my referral code is b a y h 21 there. So then if you guys check out, you'll get $50.
There you go. Uh Heather said, "Julie, can you please explain?" I I did. Yeah.
Unless I have to repeat it again, then I will.
Uh Nona said, "Heather, so same for the saki moisturizer or hydrating water water gel. Just pick one."
No, no. If you have uh if you have oily skin, if you have um if you just don't want added oils and stuff in your saki extract is a typical white cream and it's very hydrating, but not like gre greasy gross. I'm just saying it's a typical white cream moisturizer, but it also has a really good ingredients in it like saki extract. Um we can look up the ingredients. Hydrating water gel. It's a water gel, so there's no oils in it. And um it has CoQ10 in it.
Again, we can look up the ingredients. I don't memorize the ingredients. Um so, it's only what you want if you or what some people do is they do the saki saki extract at night and they put it on their neck. They use a hydrating water gel in the morning. You do not need to do that. Just pick one. So, I guess it's it's all in what you want. Do you want a lighter feeling oilfree gel or do you want the typical white cream for your face? It's all in what you want. But yeah, just pick one.
Dr. Trey, the laser works, but chin whiskers are persistent. Any hormone. We were talking about some little chin whiskers here the other day, weren't we?
There, Dr. Trey and Heather.
Where do you get it? Amazon shell. I I think shell I think shall hell already left, but yeah, it was Brun. It was brawn.com.
Yeah, I just Googled I just uh put the name of the laser in and Braraw directly came up and then the Raku 10 came back with the 20% off. So, I was like, "Okay." But I didn't order it yet.
Coco and Chloe said, "Saki Balm cleanser melts off everything." I know. It's one of my favorites. I will say you guys the people were telling me that the daily facial cleansing oil which same concept as the saki balm cleanser except it's in a pump cuz some people don't like putting their hands in a jar. Um so people were saying it's not like emulsifying enough the cleansing oil one the daily cleansing and the pump and so I did reformulate it a little bit not necessarily with ingredients but I added more of everything. So, it's a little bit thicker and it does not emulsify as much as the Saki cleansing balm, but it emulsifies more than it did. And it's also thicker now. So, it if you guys ordered it and now you're ordering it again, don't be like, "Is this different?" I mean, yeah, it technically is, but it's really not. You know what I mean? I just added a little bit more to make it thicker, and I added more of the solubilizer to make it foam a little bit more, but it still does not foam as much as the Saki cleansing balm.
A wait, Nona said, "Add Heather, I'm in pain."
Oh, I'm sorry, Nona.
Have a good night. Which was 15 minutes ago. Oops.
Uh, what do I think of Chaseo sunscreen?
I don't know if I have an opinion. Let me look.
I like uh I love Chaseo's uh I've used their foundation in the past and I really like it, but it's been a while since I've used it, but I remember really liking it. Oh, is it in a blue bottle? The Chase. Very pretty. It's a very pretty bottle.
This one.
Well, they have a mineral.
I don't know if this one's mineral.
Let's see.
Okay. See, Chaseedo just popped up or I'm sorry, Raku 10 just popped up. Save 2%. Okay. Anyway, um, see you guys, let me zoom this in so you guys can see this. I always say they're crazy when you see chemical SPF and I can't even pronounce them. Haha. This is the exact This is what I'm talking about. These are chemical sunscreens. A lot of people, not everybody, but a lot of people will get um acne breakouts from these ingredients. Oh, wait. I don't think you guys are seeing You're not seeing what I'm seeing. Wait, hang on.
You guys aren't seeing the same thing.
Give me a second.
That's weird. Why aren't you seeing what I'm seeing?
Ha, there it is. Okay, here we go.
When you see these ingredients right here, these are chemical sunscreens. And some people can absolutely toler tolerate these. No problem. A lot of people can't. I cannot.
So, these are chemical sunscreens. If you can't pronounce it, chances are it's chemical. All right. So, but I did notice that here. I did notice that they had a different kind. Hang on, let me find it.
They were smart. They came out with a mineral one, too.
Yep. Okay. They came out with this one's a lighter blue color and it is chemical. I'm sorry. It's mineral. So, look at titanium dioxide. It's mineral.
Zinc oxide. I was so embarrassed on Jimmy's the other night. I kept saying iron oxide. Iron oxide is not at all what is in these. Anyway, whatever. Uh, so you're looking for mineral sunscreens, titanium, and uh, zinc. Sometimes you'll see nonnano, which means it's super small, which is good, too. But that's neither here nor there. So, there you go. So, the lighter blue one, I say yes, the darker blue. I mean, to each their own. I could not use the darker one. It would make me break out.
Heather said, "I love the Saki products." Thank you. Oh, yeah. You got the um moisturizer.
I don't think I asked you about it.
Yeah, Eileenie. No joke. That was a good price for a laser. No joke. Yeah, getting waxed or I'm sorry, getting lasered at a place is not cheap.
Got it, Dr. Trey. Thank you.
Okay, I put the fan on in front of me because it gets hot in here and I think it's like stirring up dust part. Barb said, "I have a product question, but I don't want to lose my A+ in class if it's a bad one. I don't want to go down to a C minus." Barb, you're you're doing so good lately. I I will keep you at an A. Hit me with it. What is it?
I'm ready.
I'm ready.
Yeah, Dr. Trey said, "Barb, you get one free question a week." Yes, that's true.
I agree with that.
Yes, she can guarantee that, Barb.
You're good. Ask me.
She is a star pupil right now. I'm very proud. I pinky swear. We'll be good.
Thank you, Coco.
Uh, someone asked earlier, what if you end up needing a subs a subscription item before it's time? They wanted to know if the order if the order if Oh, yeah. Um, whoever asked that, you can edit your subscription and if you can't if you can't figure it out, whatever, just message us. We'll help you. But yeah, just like with any subscription service, you can go in and you can cancel it. You can pause it. Um I think I hope I'm not misspeaking. I didn't set it up, but I do know I shouldn't say I know. I think I think you can um go in and like say, "Hey, I need it 10 days early."
And if you can't, then just message and we'll we'll do it for you.
Barb, ask. You're fun.
Oh my god, you guys. It is pouring here.
Oh my god. Leo is probably losing his ever loving mind.
Hang on. I have to go check on Leo. I'll be right back. I I know he wants me right now. I can feel it. Hang on one second.
Is Leo okay? Come here. I knew it. I knew it.
I knew you wanted me. I just knew it.
Come here. I know. I know. I know, baby.
Oh, I know.
You hear him? He's so upset right now.
Watch your toes. I got to move my chair up. Watch your tootsies. I know, baby. I love you. It's okay. I got you. Just lay down.
He's very upset.
If the t if the thing shakes, I'm sorry.
We have an upset Doberman.
Barb did get us back with the denatured alcohol and I deserve and propane glycol. They were both in that K18 hairsty.
I deserve to get my butt kicked over that one.
Dr. Trace Eper, I don't believe you should grow a full full beard. If your testosterone gets too high, you can have an increase in facial hair, but if you're too low, they are replacing it.
Hopefully, it won't be too much.
Oh my god, he's shaking so hard.
Hi, mediocre physicist. How are you?
Okay, here we go. Barb the cat.
Oh, no. If you're going to barb, you cannot stand here. No, hang on. Sorry.
Oh, that guy has scared the crud out of me just now.
Reading a barb question and darn near peed my pants.
Okay, Julie, I have been using a product. She's using caps, you guys.
She's trying to uh qualify why she's doing what she's doing.
I'm on to you, Barb. Okay. I've been using a product only when I get go out at night under concealer.
Seems to work really well under concealer. Can you look it up? Don't yell at me about the price. Okay, I won't. I promise. Just tell me. Hit me with it, girl. Did she tell it? She didn't say it, right? Okay. Do I have to keep going to find it?
Uh, Nefaria said, "Yes, blue is the one." The darker blue. Are we back to Chaseo? The darker blue is uh chemical. If your skin can tolerate it, awesome. But if you start getting lumps, not lumps, that's a terrible thing to say. If you start getting bumps and like little acne or millia, chances are that's why.
You're almost safer if you just bought it. You're almost safer to return the blue one for the powder blue one. But if you can tolerate it, then use it.
Madam Steno said, "FYI, Raqqin percentages fluctuate daily." That is true. Absolutely true. That's why I'm doing that laser tonight because right now it's 20% off at brawn.com.
Nefarious said, "Actually, they're the same price."
Hang on. I think they're the same price.
Nefarious. Yeah, they're both $26.
Now, wait, hang on. You're not talking about the white one cuz there's also a white one that I don't know why, but this one's 39.
It's clear.
It's environment mineral clear sunscreen. That one's 39. And I have no clue why, but the the royal blue one and the powder blue one, they're both 26.
I mean, at least. Yeah, it's just.com.
They're both 26.
I do too, Dr. Trey. The Sarah mineral sunscreen. That's actually the one I have on right now, you guys. I screwed up so bad today.
I was um so I showered and then I put on um actually the Caveuh SPF and do you guys know what I mean?
It's the Maybelline um I'll show you guys because I don't know how to describe it. It's a waterbased I forget what it's called though.
Maybelline um it's water foundation. I don't know how to describe it.
Yeah, this is it. Oh, it's Covergirl.
Sorry, it's not Maybelline. Here, let me show you this.
But I I'm not showing you this for any reason. I just want to tell you what I did today.
Okay, this is super cool. You see these little balls in there? Those are pigment. And then it's sitting in like a gel. And this is a dupe because Chanel initially came out with this, which I also tried the Chanel one, which is awesome. And the Chanel one probably has more coverage, but that's beside the point. For the price, this one's absolutely fine. So, I use this one just when I want like a fresh look, a fresh face look, like not really any coverage, but just like to even everything out.
So, I put this on today. Great. I got sidetracked as I always do. So then like and I told you it's very very light coverage. Very light to the point that I forgot I put anything on.
So then I went and I grabbed my Danessa Mixrix which comes in like a jar and it's like a it's like a a foundation balm and it's in a jar.
Danessa.
I forgot that I had put this on which is waterbased. Remember I told you guys about pilling? When you mix certain ingredients together, it just doesn't work. So I put the MA or I keep saying Maybelline CoverGirl on. Forgot I did.
Walked away. I was like, "Oh, whatever."
So I went. Now I grab the Danessa Myrix the balm. I put it on and then I just put on a little brow bronzer and mascara lip gloss and I called it a day. An hour later I go back in and I was like going to flat iron my hair. My whole skin was like peeling and like it looked like I've never seen it look before. And I'm like, "What the heck is wrong with me?"
First I got some crazy stuff going here and now my face is peeling off. Like what is going on here? Well, I remembered I mixed a water base with a pure silicone oil, whatever's in it. I don't even know what's in the Danessa one.
Didn't work. So, I had to wash my face and start all over. So annoyed.
Don't mix it with things.
Barb the cat. Okay. So, I put on your rejuvenating eye cream, wait a few minutes, then dab on skin better interfuse eye cream. Am I ready for this?
Skin. I love you, Barb. Skin better infuse eye cream.
I don't know here.
Let's look. I'm keeping an open mind actually. Here, let me go. Does it matter which one I look at here? Let's go right to their website.
Let me zoom that in so you can all see the price.
Do you guys see the price? Okay.
All right. Now I need to find it again.
Crap.
Crap. I should have just gone with the other website. What's it called?
Interfuse eye cream.
Oh, for for for 15 mls, it's a half an ounce.
Hang on. What's copper lysinate? Give me a second.
I've never used that.
copper lysinate prolinate is.
Wow, I have like it's you can tell it's stormy. My Wi-Fi is wonky right now.
Um, all that I can see it's not even loading. It just says it's an essential amino acid mineral complex. That's I wish I could click on this.
H I can't. My Wi-Fi is not working on my phone. All right, hang on.
I mean, the ingredients, they're not terrible. I mean, I wish it didn't have alcohol in it, but and I wish it didn't have this peg 16 in it, but I've seen worse.
There's another peg. It's not a terrible barb. I mean, the alcohol, you know, this is the thing. This is the thing, Barb. Barb, I can't find the There we go.
I guess this is the thing. I'm not being I'm not like I don't I don't want this to come out wrong. I guess I'm just like what are you looking for? Because this is the thing. I can literally formulate you anything you want. Truly anything you want. So I guess when you're looking for I get it. You're just somebody who like likes trying the next best thing. I get it. I get it.
But you're just spending a lot of money on like mediocre products.
So, I guess I'm just curious like I get you have that issue under your eye. I get it. You like that that line or whatever. I get it.
And I feel like eye cream is where you like tend to really go toward.
What do you like, and I'm not being mean or sarcastic when I ask this, like what are you looking for?
Do you like brightening? Like, do you want an eye cream with like micica in it so it like brightens? Is that what you like?
Are you looking for a specific ingredient? Is it a certain feel? Like, what is it?
Because instead of you continuously, and maybe you're still going to keep doing this, I don't know. That's fine.
But we could literally formulate you whatever you wanted, I guess. Yeah. I I just I guess I'm just asking like like what are you looking for? You know, like what do you want these eye creams to do for you? And what do these do that maybe the rejuvenating eye cream doesn't do? Cuz I can learn from this. Like I guess I just I want to understand.
Nefarious. It was a bra laser. Um Dr. Trey might have to put it back in the chat. Oh, there it is. Dr. Trey did it.
Got it.
No one said, "Oh, no, I didn't. No questions got into detention. Please don't put me in."
Who's in timeout? Nobody rather be in timeout.
We don't put people in timeout here.
Linder is Oh, I don't care that dogs bark. It scared the crap out of me.
Plus, that is loud. I know it echoes through the monitor. They weren't in trouble. I just can't have them in here when I'm doing a live and they're barking out the window. I hear them.
They're out there eating. I hear them eating in their bowl right now. They're fine.
If Leo starts panting outside the door again, I will let him up again. I promise.
I need a lip balm. My lips are so chapped.
Oh, Shelley got put in the corner. I kept seeing that in the chat, but I just I was like, I'm not even going there.
Uh, Nona said, "Who or what is a Leo and where are you in the Leo is my Doberman and he gets extremely scared when it storms, which is why he was in here, but then his sister ruined it. She barked and I just told them both to go out.
They're out. They're not out there alone. They're fine." And I am in Texas.
And And where are you in the central?
I'm in Houston.
Houston Nefarious said, "Okay, thanks. Good idea." No, I get millia and I have sensitive skin. Yeah, Nefarious. And this is the thing. If you have used those products before, like those SPFs, and you can tolerate it, great, whatever. But I'm just saying sometimes people like continuously will break out and they don't know why. And so, there's a few questions I ask like right off the bat. And one would be, "What kind of SPF do you use?
That's all others. Yeah, we joke with Barb. Yes.
You're welcome. Nefarious.
Oh my god, Leo is nuts when it storms.
He's a rescue and it's actually super sad. He was found in like the woods in Austin and he was heartworm positive. We finally got rid of it. Um, he was heartworm positive when we got him. Uh, but he's got so many scars on him, you guys. Like scar because Doberman fur is very like short and like wiry. So any scar they have, even if it's just like a even if he like rubs against a fence here, like it will leave like a mark on his skin. Usually the fur will grow back over it, but when it's like I don't want to be like a deeper scar. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but when it's a certain type of scar, I got to let him back in.
I can hear him. Hang on a second.
Actually, no, I don't. He's not there.
Um, there when it's like a deeper scar, it the fur will not grow back over it.
And he just has like a lot of marks. I mean, I I hope I hope I don't even want to think about it. Whatever. I don't know. He doesn't act like he was abused, you know, like abused animal. I don't really like talking about this, but like they shy away and stuff like he doesn't do that, but he is a very very sensitive like you don't even have to like raise your voice to Leo cuz he's just like he's very very sensitive dog. Super sweet dog, but he just I think he's had a really rough We've had him for two years. He's fine. Yeah, he had heartworm positive. It was terrible.
A Nana, I love dogs.
Lexi and Leo. Yeah, Lexi Lou. Lexi Lulu.
Actually, I just told my kids um and my husband. But something's just telling me like Lexi, she looks fine. She still plays. She's eating. She's going to be she's going to be nine in October.
I think she's going to be nine. She's not going to be 10. Yeah, she's going to be nine in October. But for a Doberman, like that's getting up there. Um, so I want to take her probably this week and like for a full set of labs. I just feel like as your dogs get older, you have to do that because she hasn't had labs in a while.
Yeah. I would rather know if there's an issue now. Plus, we have like dog insurance and stuff, so why not use it, right?
Oh, Dr. Trey said I had to go stay for but I have to go tonight. Good night, Dr. Trey. Thank you.
Dr. Trey. Um, yeah, it's lower. One, two, three, four. Yeah. Yeah, it's not a terrible product, Barb. I'm just trying to understand like what you want. That's all. I'm just trying to understand.
Yeah, it does say denatured alcohol, Dr. Trey. Yes.
Okay, Barb said, "But it plumps up my eye well. The line disappears and the concealer concealer sits well."
You know what I'm going to do, Barb?
Because there's certain I don't recognize some of these ingredients.
Like, I really don't.
Oh, actually, haha. I think I know it's doing it. Give me a second. I think I know it's plumping your eye. Give me one second. Let's see if I can get on my phone right now. It's hydrayed and it's a good ingredient. Lupine protein.
I think this is what's plumping you up.
Give me one second. Let me see.
Skin care.
Oh, yeah. I can get back in my phone.
Okay.
This isn't telling me what it does, though.
Okay, great. I don't care. I want to know what it does. Benefit in eye cream.
I actually work with this product and I think I just got it last week.
It promotes the production of collagen.
Okay, this is what it does. It so it plays a crucial role in preserving I knew I got this for a reason. That's why when I saw that I'm like that looks really familiar.
Uh it okay it plays a crucial role in preserving the cohesion between the epidermis and the dermis by reinforcing the dermal epidermal junction.
It stimulates the expression of lamin 5 a key.
It's really plumping up that under eye.
Actually I think that is the ingredient that you're liking.
You know what, Barb? I'm not going to do this on here. I'm going to break down every ingredient on here. And I'm going to talk to you about it, but I think it's the hydrayzeed lupine lu p i n e protein that you like.
Yeah, there's nothing else in there that would do that.
I mean, it's still not worth the price, but if it's doing what you want for your under eye, I'm not mad. I get it.
Yeah, that's what I mean. If the line goes away, I mean, I'm good. I'm I'm happy you found something.
Nona said, "I'm hoping for the best with trying the products. Menopause, cancer battles, and stress have wrecked my skin and body. Time for some change." I get that, Nona.
Heather said, "Julie, you need to start a line of Barb's question requests, but give us all access to her whims and wants. I want it all." Barb should become a segment.
Yeah, like the MAC fast response eye cream. You think that's the best? All right. No, I need to look at that one.
Mac fast response eye cream.
Mac's been like around forever. You know what I mean? Mac's just like it's a staple.
I was actually at Sephora earlier and I saw MAC. Yeah, MAC there and it just always catches my eye.
And then MAC has such a distinct smell to it, too. It just takes me back.
Racen 2% off at MAC.
ingredients.
You guys see this?
It's like a useless ingredient. Can't stand it.
But does this one plump your eye as good as the other one?
I could see where this would be super hydrating and make your makeup sit awesome. I get that. But I don't know if this would plump it as much as the other one.
It's not terrible.
And I mean, for the price, I totally get it. It's just when when eye creams get to the point that they're like over like $75 or whatever, I just have a hard time, you know? So, I just don't know if any products worth that. But if it works for you, then I guess it is worth it.
Heather said, "Be has truly changed my skin. I have con converted to only BHB and I never been happier with my skin."
A thank you, Heather.
Thank you, Dr. Trey. Which I know she's gone, but we should get a t-shirt that says BHB addicts. That's funny.
Barb said, "Dr. Trey, plumps up that area so well. It helps concealer stay nicely on. The dermatologist office gave it to me. They said denature alcohol is very low as preservative, not I agree.
That wasn't that high up.
It's just not necessary. That's why I always flag it. It's just not necessary.
But I mean, whatever.
It's one, two, three, four, five, six, 7, 8. I mean, yeah, it's in the middle for sure. I agree. But it's it shouldn't be there. But yeah, if it works, that's all that matters. Barb na said, "Well, I've never heard that from a company. Julie will custom for you." Yeah, I'll totally custom anything. I've had people message me and they just don't see like a certain ingredient on the website. So, they'll ask me to formulate something with that ingredient in it. And then we kind of talk about it. We go back and forth with it. And then I will send them like a little sample size to make sure it works for them. Um, and then if they want it, they get the full size. Yeah, I don't like announce I do that because it takes like time, but I guess I just did announce it. I'm just saying I don't announce it on the website. But I truly love it, you guys. My like my jam is formulating. I wish I didn't get pulled in every direction all day so I could truly just like formulate every day all day. Um, I mean, you can only have so many products. I get it would be overwhelming. But um unfortunately that's not the way it works. I make myself formulate something new like every two months or so. Uh the next one will be the hair thing and then it'll be the rosacea.
Hi May, June Barbat. I have a sample of it from germ doc but I was going to buy it and I guess I won't know. Wait, why why won't you buy it? If it works for you, Barb, buy it. Unless you want me to add that. Let me break down the ingredients. Let me see what's making you so happy. I I know I can figure it out.
And if it is that hydrayzeed loopine, I have it. So, I'll just formulate you something with it in it and see if you get the same results for a heck of a lot cheaper. And if you don't, then go back to that one.
That's what I would do.
Oh yeah, Dr. Trey's son was having an issue. Yeah, that is true. I did help her with that.
Oh, Dr. Trey still here. Oh, that was eight minutes ago. Maybe she's not.
Oh, I feel a new product being born.
Well, yeah, if that ingredient's that good. Heck yeah. And I have it. I just haven't worked with it yet. I have it. I literally just bought it.
Get Lexi Labs and photo shoot. So, I'm so very thankful for the professional photos we've had with our fur babies. Sadly, we lost a lot younger than I hate that.
Oh my god. Pet insurancees. After I had the Italian greyhound break her leg twice, I was like, "No, no, no, no, no."
Like the little bit of money it is a month, it sucks. But now once we meet our we go with uh Pets Best and once we meet a $250 deductible where they cover 90% of everything.
Now, you do have to pay upfront and then you submit it to Pets Best, but they reimburse you like quickly. Like the first time we used them as a reimbursement, it took a little bit longer, like three, four weeks. But now that they know us and they know we're not like scamming them, they're quick.
We get the money back like within a couple weeks.
Luckily, like I would we don't go that often, but it's nice to have that insurance just because you never know.
Nefarious said, "I recently got the ordinary caffeine solution five. Let's look at it." Actually, I'm going to leave this up so I remember it so I can look at it for Barb later. I'll leave that one up.
Ordinary caffeine solution 5%.
Ordinary prices are so cheap. I don't get it.
I think they just are able to sell so many they can keep that price down.
8% back at Sephora. I wish I would have known that before I went today. What a joke. All right. Anyway, uh, water, caffeine, monttodextrin, it's just a thickener, glycerin, hctin, proprandal, hctin.
What's this?
Epi. This is why I love doing this, too, because I learn new things.
What is that? Epac.
Oh, it's a skin hydrator, moisture retention, and wrinkle.
What is it?
No, I looked up the wrong thing. There's no way that's what it is. Hang on.
Can I find it?
E G A L L O C A T E C H I N.
It won't come up.
Well, that's perplexing. Oh, okay. Yeah, it did.
Oh, it's an antioxidant. So, it's a hydrator.
Yeah, it it protects from it's an antioxidant. It helps protect from some damage. Okay, that's what that is. All right. Uh, see, I don't I don't know where The Ordinary is um formulated, but they use very I don't want to say unusual, but maybe they're not unusual, but just things I've never heard of. Glutathione.
the and I'm glad that they use oxidized glutathione because usually you'll see companies use glutathione and which is an awesome antioxidant but it's too large of a molecule. Remember we've talked about Dalton size D A L T O M and uh there's a certain number that that Daltton I think it's 500 the Daltton size has to be less than that to be able to even penetrate into your skin and glutathione unless it's oxidized. I would have to look up the number. Um it can't even get through your skin. So it's kind of like is it really worth it? But they oxidized it. Oops. They oxidized it. So maybe it's smaller.
Yeah, I mean for this uh for $9, I mean, heck yeah. I mean, certainly can't go wrong with this product.
I mean, there's no peptides. There's no retinol. I mean, it's a very basic formula, but it's good. There's nothing wrong with it. Yeah. There's no denatured alcohol, right?
No, there's no propyline glycol. Yeah. It's a good ingredient. It's a good product.
Heather said, "It sounds like Barb likes the other product more because she saves it for glam nights out." Well, I think she's doing that cuz she just got a sample size of it, so she doesn't want to waste it.
Bye, Happiness again. Thank you for being here.
Good night, Renee. I'm going in a minute, too. Mal's work.
Oh, number one. Oh, yeah. She was a little um sweetest dog ever. Little 15 pound Italian greyhound. And Italian greyhounds, for those of you that don't know, they are their legs are I'm not joking. Google it. Their legs are in little stilts. They're this big, but their body is very um they're kind of like topheavy, but they walk fine. Well, we lived at this point, we were in San Antonio, and we had a a backyard that kind of went up on like a hill a little bit, and then over on the right side, we had like a burm with trees in it. And truly, I don't still don't know 100% what happened. She was home alone with my mom. Um my mom was older. My mom was in the bedroom. She babyed this dog like crazy. She would never rarely even leave this dog outside alone, but she did this time. And I don't know if Bella um got I I don't even know what happened, but she rolled down the burm and her leg was I'm not going to go into detail because it was bad, but it was no longer intact.
But we think maybe she jumped up on the privacy fence and she got her leg stuck between like the little opening because her leg would have fit through it and she maybe rolled. I I don't know what happened, but it was the most god- aful whatever. Terrible, terrible sound. And so she called me. I was taking my son to school. I come home, we take her to the vet, and obviously she has to have surgery. She gets pins in it. She was a year old. She was in a cast for like six weeks. She bounced back perfectly. No issue. Well, then uh five years later, we were getting ready to move to Houston and we had put um we took the carpeting out of my mom's bedroom before we moved and we put wood floors in there to match the rest of the house. And Bella didn't know that and we didn't even think straight about this. She jumped off my mom's bed thinking there was carpet, but there wasn't and she just landed wrong.
So, the same paw broke again. Another surgery, another cast, another god-awful screech. Yeah, that's how it broke twice. Terrible. Don't wish that on anybody.
Yeah.
So, that's why it's like I want another Italian greyhound so badly, but I would never do it with two big dogs because she would get trampled. Not in a mean way, but she just would. And until I can like literally just be like the retired older woman who can just sit there and pet her and love her all day long, I don't want the responsibility of Italian greyhounds. They're too delicate.
No. Oops, I didn't mean to hit that.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Yep. Nefarious. It is. It's the ECG.
EGCG and it's a antioxidant. Exactly.
Nefarious. Yep. I was spelling it wrong.
That's how I couldn't why I couldn't find it.
Heather said, "Looks like toothpick legs and it's very muscular body." Yeah. So muscular. So picture like the big Italian greyhounds that you see, but picture it in mini size. Yeah.
Terrible.
I know. Number one, it's the worst.
That's the problem. It's like you can't live without them, but then you just dread that day.
Hate it.
Coco said, "Julie, I was wondering today about some LMS products if you want to look up more things." Sure.
I don't want to close out Barbs because I want to look at it again later. Here, I'll go here. LMS. I've never heard of it.
Oh, Elmus. Elamus. I'm like I think she means Elmus. Yeah, gotcha.
All right, let's look at this.
This advanced formula targets you I see it. Oh, why is that?
There we go.
This advanced formula targets the effects of collagen decline of the skin, leaving skin looking visibly firmer.
Okay.
Oh, I can already tell this is going to be a good product, but totally overpriced. But see, this is the crazy thing. Look at water, glycerin. This is going to be something that makes it feel good. Like the sensory part of it, propendial. It's a hctant.
I believe this is a solubilizer. Like there's not one thing other than making it feel awesome. And some really good hydrators like squaline is awesome.
Okay, here. Echanatia is good.
Uh, and there's perfume in it. Yuck.
sodium. See? See how low down you have to get to the good stuff. Like this lactobacillus ferment. This should literally be up like here. This should be up here.
Wow. That's crazy.
Again, not and and they put fragrance in it. Look at this. $155 for an ounce. Was for an ounce, right?
I'm assuming it's an ounce.
H interesting.
Yeah. I mean that Oh, yeah. Right here.
30 mls instant ounce. Yeah. It's just very overpriced. Also, you guys, they have this. Everybody says that our saki cleansing balm is very similar to their collagen um cleansing balm and a lot of people have switched over from Elmus collagen balm to um mine like a lot. Theirs looks a little bit soupier too. Let me look at it again.
Theirs looks a little soupier.
Yeah, there I mean h Yeah, there's a little soupier.
Why can't I bring up the ingredients?
Oh, let me go down.
Oh, almond oil, cap triglyceride, peg six. I mean, again, why are they putting pegs in the stuff? Serial alcohol. It's a thickener. This is a um emulsifier.
Sambukas is a good oil. Again, PEG 60.
Why? Silica is a thickener. Oat oil is good. Again, they're awesome oils.
There's nothing wrong with this. Plus, they put this these are all essential oils, so I'm sure it smells lovely, but some people can't tolerate um essential oils. Actually, we had um I had decided to put uh Is there a specific eleant product you want me to look at? I'll look at it. Um, I had added uh essential oils to my Saki cleansing balm for a while because I'm like, if people like Elmus, is it the smell they like? So, I I did an option, believe it or not. I did an option. I'm like, if you want essential oils in it, I'll do it. But I think we sold like two. Like, nobody wanted it. I'm like, well, that's a waste. I'm not doing that anymore.
Missable, Miss Habib is here.
Hi, how are you?
Oh, Coco said LMS Pro Collagen Co Pro Collagen Toning Mist. All right, let me look at that one. Let me add it back to the screen.
So, Pro Collagen Toning Mist.
Where's the search bar? Here.
Toning mist.
Oh, that's an ounce. I'm like, "Wow, $13 is pretty good." Okay.
Water. Glucona. This is um This is a preservative.
Polyorbate 20. It just I was going to say there's got to be there's got to be essential oils in this. What? Polyurbate 20 does is when you have a water and you have an essential oil, the water and the oil won't mix, but you don't necessarily need some crazy emulsifier. So, companies will use polyorbate 20 and that incorporates the essential oils into the water. So, you don't have to like shake it and do all kinds of crazy stuff. So, this is a preservative. This is a good ingredient. Sodium hydroxide.
It's a pH adjuster. It's a sodium EDTA.
Nothing.
nothing. Uh, fragrance terrible.
I mean, usually extracts are always good. I don't know what every extract means, but usually extracts are always good. Um, yucka. I've heard yaka. Isn't yaka vitamin C? I almost feel like yucka is vitamin C. Am I right on that? I think I am. Anyway, some good extracts.
Lactobacillus ferment. I've said it before. I love it. But then you get into this roa. This is a um I don't know if this is an extract or a essential oil. I don't know if that's going to actually add smell to it. I'm not sure about that. Oh, but here you go. Lol. That's going to add smell.
That's a essential oilish.
Citroanel. That's going to add a fragrance.
Yep. And these add fragrance, too.
That's why they need the polyorbate 20.
It's not terrible. How much is I mean how much is the um this $65? Yeah.
I've seen worse.
I mean a little overpriced but I've seen worse.
I mean you guys can literally go to if you like that misting face you guys like Mario Badescu from Target sells a really good one. You can get it at Ulta if you like that refreshing misty spray like Mario Badescu.
It smells like roses which does not linger. Um back in the day before I knew anything about skincare, I used to use that.
How are you again, Miss Hibby? I know I already said hi to you once, but LMS is always pushed by um influencers.
I don't know if they get a kickback from it or if they just really stand by it, which I have a hard time believing, but I don't know.
Heather said, "Yes, Eileen. It's stupid expensive, but some nice feeling products, but didn't do for me." Yeah, again, Elmus is not like terrible. I just again very overpriced.
Heather said, "Geez, I was giving them too much credit. That price for one ounce just save us all the money."
But then, you know, then I see sometimes in chats that people think like Bay Harbor's too expensive. And I'm like, okay. I mean, again, everybody's entitled to their opinion, but I'm like, h, let me show you some skin care uh brands that are expensive.
Hi, May June books. Christine, I have the saki balm and exfoliating facial cleanser. I don't use both on the same day. What do you I have a saki balm and an exfoliating facial cleanser. I don't use both on the same day. What do you recommend?
Are you asking if you should use them on the same day? because you can I I don't know if I'm fully understanding your question, but uh you could use um in the morning you could maybe use the exfoliating facial cleanser exfoliating facial cleanser cuz you don't really have like makeup or anything to remove. Um and then at night I always recommend a double cleanse. So, you could start with the saki balm cleanser and then do your second cleanse with the exfoliating or you could do the saki twice.
I hope that's answering your question. I don't know if that was your question.
Coco said essential oils are a trigger.
I mean, for some some people swear by essential oils. Like literally, some people swear by them and they love them.
Um, but then on the other hand, you're going to get a group of people who absolutely cannot tolerate them. So, you know what I mean? That's just kind of like try at your own risk. You know, I don't I I am on the side of I don't think they belong in facial skincare.
Like, that's just my opinion. There's going to be oodles of people out there who disagree with me.
Oh, we're talking about the price.
That's not my perspective. I think you make everything super for I mean, I try to I mean, especially some of our products, trust me, they could be a lot more expensive. I mean that uh essence that we formulated or I formulated I always say we uh that I formulated. I mean honestly Claude wanted me to like charge like $70 or something for this and I'm like Claude I cannot do that but he knows how expensive these ingredients are. Like I can't do that. Not doing it.
Eene said you are priced very fair. I have used a lot of different brands and I think your quality and price is better than anything else I've ever purchased.
I appreciate that and I try.
Thank you.
Barbat said, "What about DLBA white truffle first spray? I've never heard of it."
Wait, I spelled it wrong. E A L B A white truffle first spray. And I've noticed that's what some companies do, too. They'll say like, uh, oh, they're putting caviar in it or uh I can't even think. Truffle made me think of it. And it's like, oh, I have seen this. I actually I've used this. I couldn't handle the smell, but I have used this. I'll show you guys.
You get it at Amazon or here, Ulta. I'll bring up Ulta. It seems to be a little bit more money on Ulta. Yeah, I swear at Amazon this was like $15. So, I definitely think it's more expensive on Ulta, but this um this is being pushed really hard by influencers right now, too. I used it like a year ago. I just could not. It smells like lemons to me. I can't handle the smell.
This is one that used Oh, shoot. I didn't mean to do that. Um. H. How do I not make it move?
Stop moving. H. I can't. Okay, I'm just going to keep it off. Do you guys see on the how the yellow is on the top and then the clear? That's the oil. So, this is one that you have to shake. So, there's like an oil and a water mix.
This one leaves a pretty um dewy glow behind.
Yeah, I've used this one.
See, this was the thing, though. I only used it because so many people were talking about it, but it didn't do anything to my skin. You know what I mean? Like, it didn't break me out or anything crazy, but all of that oil at the top, you have to mix it. And then they have like uh I don't think they use polyorbate 20, but they will use something equivalent to that. But no, they're really good ingredients. That's why I tried it. I just didn't like the fragrance and all of that in it. I couldn't handle it.
But no, it's a good product. They sell it on Amazon for a lot cheaper.
Yeah. I mean, really good ingredients.
I've tried that one.
It didn't I didn't buy it again. It was a oneand done for me.
I agree, Coco. I can't. in that dlba if it's a very um I mean if Barb uses it she can probably vouch for this too.
It's like if I remember it's been about a year since I've used it. It just smelled lemony to me and I couldn't.
It's gross.
Yeah. As an aroma therapy. Like people when they get massages and stuff like people love essential oils. I get that.
But do I want to put this on my face every day? I mean I personally don't want to.
And like in body products you like your body can handle it usually. I mean some some people's bodies can't even take it.
Um no but I just don't feel like it belongs in skincare. But trust me there's a lot of people that disagree with me.
From what I've read and heard about your products, the prices are extremely fair and competitive. I can't wait for my travel kit to arrive so I can try all the things. A you must have just ordered that cuz I just put it back like yesterday.
All right, you guys. You guys have any other questions?
I am sleepy.
I don't know. Um, my kids are going to Michigan on Wednesday and I might want to hang out with them on Tuesday night and I'm probably going to need somewhere to occupy my brain on Wednesday. So, I'm probably going to do my live on Wednesday. Well, no, cuz it's bunny after dark, isn't it?
Um, I don't think I'm going to do a live on Tuesday, just cuz I want to hang out with them because they're going to be packing and stuff. Um, I might do it just Friday next week or I might do one earlier in the day Wednesday and then if you guys can't be here, you can just watch on replay. I might go live like I mean it will probably be early. I might go live like at 4 or 4:30 on Wednesday.
I'm sorry, on Tuesday. No lies.
Wednesday. I might go live around 4 or 4:30 Central time on Wednesday, but I'm not going to go live on Tuesday like I normally do.
So, I'll let you guys know exactly. I'll put it on X. And also, I'll put the thumbnail up on uh Wednesday so you guys know what time. And I'll probably send out an email, too, which I forgot to do today.
So, we'll figure it out. But I probably will not be here Tuesday. All right.
Thank you guys for being here. If you could hit the like button, it would help me. I appreciate it. And I will see you Tuesday. But if you guys have any questions, just let me know. Always message. We're always here. Okay. Have a great night, guys. Thanks for being here.
Bye. Thank you.
