The first James Bond game in 14 years, 007 First Light, represents a significant evolution in the franchise by focusing on stealth gameplay, espionage mechanics, and character development rather than traditional action sequences. The game explores Bond's origins as a crew member rather than an established agent, drawing inspiration from Daniel Craig's portrayal in Casino Royale. IO Interactive's approach emphasizes stealth segments, social engineering, and environmental puzzles, creating a more immersive spy experience that expands the Bond universe beyond traditional action game conventions.

The first James Bond game in 14 years! Was it worth the wait? - 007 First LightAdded:
Uh, but I I need to mess with things.
Who has something that's messable?
>> Click twice in quick succession and it produces a blinding flash you just the edge.
>> No.
>> Oh, I'm blinded temporarily.
>> Oh, that's not temporary, baby. You're blinded for life.
>> 29.
Welcome back to the flop house agents.
Um, there is full sun on my house right now. You know what that means? Staying inside and playing video games. And we have another massive one this weekend.
This is 007 first light. Seems like seems like yesterday I was like, where the [ __ ] is this game? They haven't announced anything in like five years.
And bam, all of a sudden, media blitz.
That's how it goes. Sometimes you forget.
Intended, novice, and purist. I like the way that we're in the gun barrel spread across. It's called a tptic, kids. Write it down.
Bond is more resilient, stronger, a balanced experience. Which bond enemies are tuned? That's what we're going to take. That's what we're going to take.
Not quite licensed to kill mode.
Imagine. I think there might be a license to kill thing in this.
Oh my god.
Or something about how Bond movies open and games uh on that same subject when they do it like that >> just hits me.
>> Details are in. What have I got?
>> Succient.
>> I don't know much about SAS, but they seem like hard [ __ ] Fine. 64 minutes in counting.
>> Prepare for the world's first halo jump.
>> Offensive wake up call. Must be all the loan.
>> Let's see.
>> Does this panty waste know what he's doing?
>> Up an unusual heat signature a couple of clicks off coast 2 hours ago. That's all I've got.
>> What sort of retriever are we talking about?
>> That's classified. I >> mean, that's Bond.
>> He's not dressed like he's ready to go.
I mean, shit's going to have to Yep, there it goes.
>> I, you know, again, I don't know much about the military and stuff, but the idea of flares and that they're uh designed to uh lure away heat sinking missiles and all that. So cool. Oh [ __ ] Well, sometime sometimes they don't always work.
>> Like, this is my first day. He's already out. Oh, he's like, "Yeah, I'm out of here."
So, the whole thing about this is earning your number. Like, this is as prequey as it gets. This is the origins of Bond as much as we've ever delved into before.
Um, the only movie that really pops to mind that kind of did that is Casino Royale, the original uh the original.
No, not the original. Actually, not at all. Uh, the first Daniel Craig one. Um, I haven't read any of the novels. I I I tried reading some original in Fleming novels. Like, yeah, not not not for me.
Maybe some comic books. There were a couple of James Bond comic books uh not even too long ago in the 2000s at least.
Are we already going to get like the opening title screen? I feel like this is one of those things.
Maybe not.
Whoa, look at that jarhead haircut.
Damn.
I have seen some screenshots of Bong with this haircut. I I assumed it was like a customization thing you could do, but I guess not. It's just like where he starts in the story.
Okay. Like he's dead.
Game over. He's settling at the bottom of the ocean.
Wow, we're taking our time. Oh, we're controlling Bon's heartbeat. His dick beat perhaps.
We got one more. We got one more in us.
There you go.
Move. I'm up. I'm up. Oh, I'm I'm I'm dying.
I don't know how that works. how your lungs couldn't be filling up with uh water through your nose.
Don't ask me how being unconscious under the water works.
Damn.
It's his first day and his like entire squad got annihilated. That's rough, man. It's rough.
Is this going to go to gameplay? Holy [ __ ] Okay.
Damn, this looks amazing.
Of course, water rocks at at night is an easy way to get things to look good, but damn.
Oh, and he's gold. We got some yellow tape right off the bat.
Oh yeah, waves are the bouncers of the ocean. Get the [ __ ] out of here.
But I haven't I haven't looked at a Hitman game in quite a while.
Uh I didn't know that the uh Glacier engine uh looks this good.
I think it's Glacier. Some sort of ice formation.
All but useless.
Technology will always uh let you down.
Can I run here? No. I thought it would be a much bigger intro before you even get to control anything. Honestly, we're like what, 5 minutes in? Maybe less.
Yeah, probably less. That didn't feel like quite like 5 minutes.
Is he already gone? This is the new yellow tape.
Dead dudes.
Oh [ __ ] Dash.
Okay, I'm pressing dash. Okay, I needed to like dismiss it first.
>> It'd be cool if there was just like no gunfighting in the opening mission.
So, I always thought IO Interactive would be a great fit for James Bond if you want to diversify, if you want to have, you know, stealth segments, maybe some gunplay, melee, and it seems that that's what they're delivering.
High reviews so far for this. I I never really doubted it, but I can just see the money everywhere in this, right?
I mean, they took their time with it and like sometimes Yeah. You know, you announce a project too early, that's that's the only like And where where are we? I think the the on the comms they said Iceland.
Don't really recognize what the enemies are are saying.
Oh [ __ ] This is not what I was expecting, right?
I'm expecting the start of like everything or nothing.
Oh [ __ ] Tall grass stealth. Nice. Oh [ __ ] Don't call me now, Mom. Busy doing secret spy stuff.
I don't know what he is. He's not a spy yet.
It just like he was like a crew guy, like a maintenance worker on on the uh sorry on the chopper.
Yeah, you've had you've had a hard day, buddy.
It is report back.
>> It was an ambush. Both choppers down.
Hostiles are organized and heavily armed.
Don't much care for this haircut on him cuz he doesn't really look like James Bond obviously.
>> Semi6. We're taking control of this mission effective immediately.
>> Money penny already.
>> Are you injured?
>> I'll live.
>> Good. Because we need your help.
>> What's your name, soldier?
>> Bond.
>> I love how MI6 technology jacked in. She sounds perfect. She sounds like she's at 192 kilobytes per second.
>> I need you to be our eyes and ears on site. Do you see a camp?
No, but there's some light coming from the other side of the >> first light.
>> Get there.
Wow. So, it's like MI6 just stumbles across this dude.
Like, he's not even supposed to be here today.
starts.
>> That's That's even earlier than I thought. I assumed he had some >> got to be a way over there.
>> Oo, obviously very Uncharted Tomb Raider-ish.
Uh, and by association, Prince of Persia, I'll check it out.
>> I feel asleep.
>> I hope it's not. I feel asleep.
Uh, but I was not even expecting that.
Like I did I did watch a preview video a couple months back of like a later mission >> when he's trying to sneak into a mansion party thing. And like I've been there, Bon. I've been not invited to a lot of mansion parties.
Fortunately, none of them were of the diddy variety. So that's cool.
Lots of squeezing through [ __ ] >> What is it? Just >> taking in the view.
>> Tell me what you see.
>> It looks like the hostiles are heading back to the camp.
>> Tell me about them.
>> They're an international group speaking English but with accidents. Capable and well organized. Explanatory. Firearms are unfamiliar. I'd guess special issue.
>> That's good. Keep your eyes peeled.
So, we're like scouting him basically as a potential agent, seeing what he can, what type of information he can already parse.
>> Tell me, why is MI6 getting involved here?
>> The retrieval camp has been >> Cuz we're the goats. That's why.
>> And by whom is what I need your help figuring out.
>> Why MI6?
>> That's classified.
>> Everything about us is classified.
>> Who's running the retrieval mission then?
>> Classified. Yep.
>> How can I help if I don't know what's going on?
>> By doing exactly what I tell you.
>> Yes, mom.
>> Yes, mom.
That's what I say to Cramp Tina sometimes. Yes, Mom.
Um, if that is Money Penny, Money Penny, not usually a mission giver, but in the in the Daniel, >> I hope I'll see it when I clear the top.
Daniel Craig era. Um she she did well no it was at the it was in uh Skyfall that she was like um on the field and then she got uh got well I wouldn't say demoted. She got moved to a uh behind the desk positional >> [ __ ] What the [ __ ] is that place?
>> Technology.
>> Not quite.
>> What then?
How long were you in the water for?
>> Wow, look at this [ __ ] place. Feels like I'm playing Death Stranding.
>> Then you're hypothermic. Get to the camp and find some warm clothes. I need you operation.
>> You and me both.
>> You see those mountains? We can We can go. Ah, don't I'm not even going to bother. I'm not even going to bother.
>> Can I actually go high versus going low?
It looks like there's another path.
That'd be cool if there actually is.
Not sure if there's any point to doing one over the other, but again, really not what I expected.
Uh, which is always a good thing. And but it's not too unexpected.
>> Fingers are the first to go.
>> What?
>> In the cold. First they hurt, then nothing.
>> Right.
>> That's always scary.
And I have felt that in my life, like going into a Canadian winter and just finding yourself outside when you didn't mean to. Something takes too long.
You're outside.
You don't have clothes. Yo, no one saw a bond. You're good. No one heard that massive noise of a human body falling down.
>> Good. You're close to the camp.
>> Fingers and toes.
Water certainly doesn't help.
>> You're in water again.
>> Mhm.
>> Getting spotted.
>> Okay.
>> The entire camp and perimeter.
>> The hell are these things? Bombs.
>> Yeah.
>> If it's bombs, it's bad. Bond and bombs do not mix.
>> MI6 explosives.
>> [ __ ] >> On your retrieval mission.
>> Not officially.
>> And we set up a grid of high explosives covering the whole area.
>> It's a post mission cleanup measure.
>> Oh, >> thermochemical sterilization. I didn't want you to.
>> Exterminatis. We're doing exterminatis.
Great.
>> What's to worry about?
>> Thermo. And it's quite safe.
>> What's not, however, is you still out in the cold. Yes, I know.
>> I know, Mom.
>> You probably want to avoid that area.
Many guards. Many, many guards. How about this nice giant open window with the glowing light?
>> There's a window here I can get through.
>> Nice. All right.
I was fairly confident, but not super confident. You always want to be fairly confident.
Oo, get out the chairs. It's time for La Parka.
>> Good news.
>> Parker.
>> Oh, [ __ ] >> Montenegron.
You speak Montenegron.
>> You speak Serbian.
>> Montenegron.
Picked up a few phrases while mountain climbing there.
>> A man of hidden talents.
>> A, she loves it.
>> Let's figure out who these hostiles are.
>> Already on it.
>> Oh man, you can get like clues and [ __ ] >> November 17th. Paid in cash.
>> Interesting.
Keep it coming.
Well, that's it for now. Oh, that seems like big evidence. Anything else in here, though?
You got to toss the place.
>> A briefcase.
>> Expect the [ __ ] out of this.
>> It's full of ashes.
>> Oh, if you can't afford an urn.
>> Self ignites if open wrong.
>> Oh, stupid.
Oh, so that's very uh IMF, right?
Uh, yeah. Let's not leave quite yet.
>> Someone's lying here. He's been shot.
>> Vital.
>> Oh, is there a reflection? Yes. Holy [ __ ] AAA game with his reflections.
>> Based IO Interactive.
>> Foster.
>> One of yours.
>> Senior engineer.
Keep going. Uh, >> my condolences. MI6.
Damn, lots of reflective services. So, I'm playing the PC version of this and this is like found >> one of their guns >> at medium to high settings and damn, it looks awesome.
>> Discontinued. Also, it's biometrically locked.
>> [ __ ] Patriots.
Oh, he's ruining [ __ ] biometric guns and [ __ ] Okay. Is there nothing else here?
Doesn't seem like it.
I feel like I'm missing something, though.
Uh, no. All right.
I guess just outside, but I But I'm I'm kind of I got the park on, but I still feel kind of naked.
I only picked up a few phrases of Montenegr.
Perfect.
Now we're real Hideo Kajjima soldier fodder.
>> Search the camp. So, we're still getting uh still got to find some type of evidence. Don't be suspicious. Don't be suspicious. Don't be suspicious. Don't be suspicious. Don't. Okay.
And they're like, you're walking like an English uh secret service guy.
We don't like that around here.
>> All right. There's got to be something in here. There you go.
Comm device.
>> Military grade layered encryption.
>> Hard to come by.
>> Okay.
>> Lighter incription.
>> Lighter. Povich.
>> Good. Too common a name. Keep looking.
>> Yeah, that doesn't really help, does it?
I mean, keep the lighter. You might need to like get warm later. Oh, this looks like could be important.
>> Red and white checkers >> in this context.
Could reference Croatia.
>> Or are they just really likes chess?
>> Torn grid up here.
>> That's just a sight explosives protocol from the MI6 handbook.
>> Ah, so it's nothing. And he's like learning as he's doing this. Holy [ __ ] A rocket launcher.
>> Serial 394 KB211.
>> The launcher is part of a US shipment stolen in Alers 9 years ago.
>> That was fast.
>> Keep digging. We're not done.
>> Damn.
But they just come in here and place that down cuz this is an MI6. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
>> Hey, what's it doing?
>> What are you doing?
>> And it started moving. Hey, you jack this up for me.
>> Uh, >> you both right there.
>> Okay. Um, remote. Gotcha.
>> Damn thing. Where's Yolan when you need him?
>> Yeah, this is the the the the controls are at Joven's house. And >> and the cleanup that was messy.
>> Oh, here we're going to learn some [ __ ] Hey, you've got to see this. Come on.
>> It's really cool.
>> You've got this, right? Good men.
>> Someone just mentioned a messy German job. 9 million lost.
>> Damn. Okay, >> I know exactly who we're up against.
>> Oh, perfect.
>> Gang of thieves known as Arrowhead.
>> Arrowhead.
>> Notorious for never leaving any witnesses.
>> It's not that cool of a name. Listen, I'm going to ask you to enter the big central temp, but what you learn in there can never be mentioned to anyone.
>> Uh, no. I'm going to blab to everyone.
>> I'm serious, Bond. You haven't signed the official Secrets Act.
>> Secrets Act?
>> Say that you accept and acknowledge its ramifications.
>> I accept and acknowledge.
>> Like the way he said that.
Okay. Yeah, we Sorry, we don't have an NDA for you right now. to just pretty pretty please promise not to tell the media about the [ __ ] up [ __ ] we have in this giant tent.
Oh, okay.
But I suppose uh she's his only shot out of this situation cuz I don't think a shootout is possible here. There's like a hundred dudes.
I need to see like a breakdown of how many people Bond has killed throughout all the movies like per movie.
I wonder which one might be the highest.
I don't think the earlier ones there was like a high body count. I want to probably say like the Pierce Broen ones quite have have quite a bit like I don't know tomorrow never dies or something. Maybe Golden Eye.
>> So lay it on me.
>> I can't. You're still on a need to know basis.
>> Oh my god, this is creepy. Is there alien [ __ ] in here?
>> Envelope forbid. Do we have a xenomorph egg?
>> James Bond versus Aliens.
I I wouldn't mind it actually. James Bond versus Terminator versus Aliens versus Predator. The comic book event you all demanded.
>> Do you see the objective?
>> I'm afraid that's classified.
>> What's that noise?
>> Oh, this is bad.
>> Oscillating door.
Is there radiation in [ __ ] here?
Money Penny or whoever you are, did you not tell me about the radiation? Don't go in there.
I'm going to have to go in here.
>> What the [ __ ] is this?
>> What's left of it?
>> I need you to look for the OBC unit inside >> OBC >> on board computer.
>> And that is >> right. onboard computer the size of a shoe box probably suspended in some shock absorbing.
>> Why is there a geer counter sound >> down?
>> Have a look around the tent for it >> on it.
>> I am being irdiated like like on bikini at all.
Okay.
Uh, it's it's it cannot just be laying around here. [ __ ] >> Just keep looking.
>> Oh my god. She's putting him in danger already.
>> I have a tummy ache. She's like, "Just bond. Just fight through it."
But my tum tums really hurts.
Oh [ __ ] Like I know I can't like probably physically die and get a game over from whatever's happening.
It's zero.
>> That's so bad that they're wearing suits and I'm not.
>> They're wearing hazmat suits. Should I worry?
>> Give me a sec.
>> Give me a sec.
>> Let's get the hell out of >> Give me a sec, love.
>> You get on the zap and in 3 weeks.
Strike code in Brazil.
>> Works for me. The others are preparing the final cleanup now.
>> Ever been to Brazil? First time. What's it like?
>> Did you mention cell distortion before?
>> Uh, yeah. I need you to do exactly as I said.
>> Oh my god.
>> Head for it.
>> This This is going to be like in Casino Royale where the shift poison where the number poisons him >> and he has to like get the the >> more poison.
We've got scarlet rot.
Oh my god, I'm so drunk. Am I looking for >> a green box with a bright orange stripe?
Probably tucked away somewhere.
>> [ __ ] Oh, this is going so badly. No green box.
No.
No.
Don't bother with Sorry. Sorry about this.
Oh [ __ ] Everyone betrayed me. I'm fed up with this world. You need that antidote.
>> Orange. Orange. Give me the >> Which one?
>> What?
>> There's two of them.
>> The orange one. Do not use the other one.
>> Okay.
Inject both. Why? Just inject the orange one. Why can't you let me see? [ __ ] it.
Am I dead? You died?
Why would it give me the option to do both?
Uh, was that guy there before we got here?
>> Bond, you okay?
>> I might be pushing it.
>> How long was I out?
>> Have a little rest and then get to somewhere safe. You've done great. We'll have an extraction team pick you up in about an hour.
>> They still have that thing you're after, and they're about to leave.
>> Yeah, I never even found it. Never even solved the mission.
>> We'll let them.
>> What?
>> Thanks to you, we've been able to deduce exactly who the buyer is, where they'll be meeting, and at what time. We'll intercept in a controlled environment with no risk to the asset.
>> That's a very MI6 thing. It's not a very Bond thing. Nothing's exploded.
Could we not have kept the mask on?
>> One of your crew is still alive.
Hostiles have him. I don't fancy his chances.
>> Oh my god. We're going to be saving their asses, aren't we?
>> No. They'll spot you and kill you.
Remember who you're up against.
>> Wrap it up.
>> Yeah. Arrowhead, who I've never heard of.
>> All right, we're doing this.
>> This one to the others. G9 or V4?
Doesn't matter. They're all inside the bus.
>> What's the point then? They're all going to die anyway.
>> Just loudly as as >> they just shot him boisterously as possible. Say exactly what's happening.
But I suppose they don't know I'm here, so they don't figure no one can overhear. But >> the hostiles plan to blow up the place.
>> You need to get out of the blast.
>> No, I need to save those people.
>> That is not your call. Stand down.
That's an order.
>> You don't order me.
>> Listen carefully. You have less than 1% chance of success. Now, stand down.
>> I'll take those odds.
>> Bond.
>> How? What? What's her math on that?
I've done pretty good. Shut up.
>> Two containers, B4 or G9.
Which one's first?
>> Uh, I don't know.
I guess we'll go G9.
Oh my god, I'm going to get [ __ ] caught, aren't I?
Oh, I see a distraction.
>> How much longer have we got?
>> Got somewhere to be.
>> Yeah.
>> The sun doesn't come out here.
>> I had enough sunshine on the patrol. So many jobs and they all went poorly.
>> Flares.
Oh [ __ ] >> Did that work?
>> Hey, check out those flares. They're neat.
Flares >> to use that creass to avoid being spotted.
>> G9.
>> Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] >> Okay.
Yeah, he said that advice about the creass a little bit too late.
>> It's his fault, not mine.
>> Miss you, tell Thomas and master that he loves them very much and will see them soon.
>> He loves his family. Family.
Uh, >> sensible to check that.
>> This is definitely a bit of the Hitman DNA. Oh [ __ ] >> it's a take down.
All right.
Uh, okay. His [ __ ] is biometrically locked to his uh scent.
>> Why? I'm the one babysitting. He's breathing.
>> Take down. Take down. Take take down.
Okay.
Nothing really else here it seems.
Are we still looking for evidence?
Satellite part. New collectible. Okay.
Locked.
Get the keys. Uh keys.
I didn't see any keys anywhere. Unless you have the keys, sir.
Yes, you do.
Easy enough. Hey, nerds.
It's me, a slight slightly lesser nerd.
>> What are you waiting for?
>> Listen, we done a bunch of time and we need to get you out of here.
>> What's the plan?
>> Can't we just sit tight and wait for the others to deal with the hostiles?
>> Uh, about that.
Just one guy.
It's so scary.
>> Yeah.
>> Grip of >> Yeah, kind of.
>> We can't leave without them.
>> Others >> in B4 other side of the camp.
>> So, it didn't really matter which one I took. They They're still >> groups of uh >> You need to stay put while >> scientist nerds, doctor nerd, scientists uh in both.
>> You'll know when you see it.
>> He has no idea what the signal will be.
He's like, I just got to go big on the signal.
All right. They're not going to know.
>> I wish we had something.
>> Oh.
>> Oh, it's this dumb machine again. Hey, >> just stop it. How? I don't know how to drive this thing.
[ __ ] Help me get our stuff out.
>> Oh, yeah. Please get out of the way, everybody.
>> This should keep them busy.
>> Uh, this way.
Oh, there's B4. Okay, perfect.
Man, I am so distracted.
Yeah, let's let's do the creass this time just in case it's a thing. Maybe there's like a super sneaky entrance or not. [ __ ] Oh, can I climb up this?
Yes. Yes.
Nice.
>> And what was the point?
>> Oh, wow. I found the the right place to sneak in >> ourselves. Take down. Take down. Take take down. Okay.
>> Thank god you're finally here. Sure.
>> Listen, I already freed your friends. We don't have much time. The hostiles are planning to blow up the camp.
>> We only have maybe 5 minutes before the opening title music video starts. So, let's wrap this up, people.
>> We need to go. Wait for my signal, then run east.
>> What's the signal?
>> At dawn, look to the east.
>> Topple the central mast. We'll all hear it. It's barely standing in this storm.
Snap one of the wires and I bet that'll be enough. Oh, >> here the detonator.
>> Oh, >> you better take it.
>> Thank you very much.
The detonator for all of the bombs.
>> It goes. You run east >> towards the sunrise. Got it.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. At dawn. Look to the east. Totally. That's what we're doing.
What's happening?
>> Good luck.
>> Oh, so where is the mast wire? It is. Wow.
It is right there. Okay, that's simple enough.
>> All right, time to bring the house down.
Sabotage challenge completed. Ghost against the odds.
Are you saying I got a perfect 007? Oh.
Oh yeah. Everyone run, please. Scientist nerds to the front.
very much everything on fire.
>> Oh, [ __ ] QT, they're back, baby.
I missed you.
Oh, Bon's like, "Man, if like all I know is I feel excellent having killed this man."
But um my guy flares going off, >> things exploding.
>> What are you doing? Come on.
Get over your trauma, nerd. Oh [ __ ] What is this? World of War tanks all of a sudden.
Oh.
>> Oh. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Hey.
>> Look at all the money. Look at all the money being thrown on the screen. Look at this dudes doing stunts. [ __ ] >> Oh [ __ ] ATV bros, get the [ __ ] off that.
>> Oh, we going.
Oh, the adrenaline. You see, we just can't shoot him.
Amazing.
>> Everybody okay? motor this way. There's a way out.
>> All right.
You can hear the the Bond themes creeping in.
Have it up. Yeah.
Oh my god.
I'm going to lose at least a couple of these science bros, aren't I?
Jump. Go ahead.
It's my last gambit.
>> Stop. I've got the detonator.
>> Fire.
>> What is this now?
>> I'm so blowing this up.
>> You going to blow us up.
>> Yeah, thinking about it.
>> And destroy the asset.
>> MI6 would never.
No.
>> [ __ ] MI6.
Sure, let's do it.
Oh, there there we're kicking in.
Uh, so I did get uh plenty of forewarning that using uh first light the song uh will get your video demonetized. So, I'm going to put in either uh the Bloodstone song or possibly the Golden Eye remix, not the Golden Eye remix, but the one from the Golden Eye uh reboot uh remake, whatever from uh the Wii one that had the [ __ ] cat dolls in it. Probably Bloodstone. So, uh I'm enjoying uh First Light. It is a very good Bond song. Um this is my first time seeing the actual uh visuals.
>> They have such a flashbang. Lenny Kravitz just in here >> just in this game. It's so random.
>> Ooh, spooky ladies.
Poppy likes.
>> It really started. What do When do I want to say?
I want to say Agent Under Fire did not have an opening song. Like it didn't have a song. Maybe it had like 10 seconds, but to me it was kind of Nightfire that at least cuz there's there is a song for Nightfire, but in the game the whole song doesn't play. It's like the Yeah, it's another example of like the last 10 seconds or something, but there is a Nightfire song as basic as it is.
There's literally like three or two or three lyrics. Ignite Fire.
>> That's kind of it.
>> Uh, and after that, like everything or nothing was the big one >> where [ __ ] money was put into that.
>> Um, the Bloodstone, a really really strong one. Uh, the the version of Golden Night that they did was also really good. Can't really top the Teen Eternal one, but you know, you can't top the the the Queen RP, but still really strong stuff. Like Activision didn't do that bad of a job with the song uh picks or whatever or sorry they didn't have anything to do with that. They just fronted the money for that. But first light it's got to be up there.
Not quite Skyfall but what can be not quite uh you know my name Chrisell R as well.
You know what? You know what song is underrated and over hated? Die Another Day.
>> Die Another Day song is is actually like I I'll sing that every so often.
>> Oo.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Pretty good visuals, I have to say. Oh, we're starting up.
Do you have an appointment?
>> The name's Bon.
>> Yeah, it looks way better with this hair.
>> He's with me.
>> Oh, look at Money Penny. So cute.
>> Today's not about me. It's about you and the incident last month. Come on.
>> Your visitor's pass, Mr. Bond.
>> Thanks.
Watch me fail this. Like, I just can't.
I My past I just uh >> I just can't do it.
>> Was you?
>> Anyhow, we're going upstairs all the way to the big brass. It's quite the stir you made.
>> Go big or go home.
>> So, I'm interested to see how much MI6 is in this game in a sense. Like, is there even a Q branch? That's >> uh I'm assuming there's an MS with the blast. So they would have made a clean, >> but I don't know anything beyond that >> after you.
>> It's probably just going to be Daniel Craig's stuff. Like you know, Q Branch is just basically one guy and he's just on the computer. It's either going to be Money Penny or somebody else.
>> Is this about me?
>> Not not Money Penny, but like um >> I have no idea what you're talking >> like a character that's not really Q, but it's Q.
>> Pleased to meet you. I'm James and you are infuriatingly secretive.
>> I have a feeling everyone will be.
Even the janitors like, "I can't talk about what I do here.
Clean up all types of shit."
>> Money penny, can I grab you for a second?
>> I'll be right down.
>> Remember that guy in the Daniel Craig era that uh that was always kind of around? I always forget his name. He was kind of like the balding guy.
>> Is that he wasn't he wasn't Money Penny, but he was kind of Money Penny. like he was just basically an adviser. I always forget his name.
>> M >> M right >> M. Okay.
>> You're really enjoying this, aren't you?
>> Mallerie.
>> You're not.
>> Not particularly. No, >> Miss Ponson B. James.
>> Thank you, Money Penny.
>> Take a seat. M will be ready shortly.
How about I do what I want, right? I'm a rebel. I'm a rogue. I could sit down or I could look at your weird old English [ __ ] Like this tea and crumpets. The daily things. Oh, wait. The daily tidings.
Thought the newspaper was the daily things. Absolutely not. What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you looking up? You invested in You're barely You're barely tapping your laptop. You don't have that thing uh uh charged up. You don't have it plugged in. You got going on here. London. Cool.
>> I don't want to go to London. Where are you? In London. Yeah. Oh, fine. I'll sit down cuz I feel tired.
Okay. H.
>> You know, I didn't get much info about today's meeting. M. Is that a code name?
would be odd for a surname, wouldn't it?
>> Fair enough. You got me.
Uh, >> let me guess then. Master.
>> Master. Master.
>> You're very talkative, aren't you?
>> Not really.
Why am I here?
>> I wonder if you know why I've been called here.
>> Everything you need to know will be explained to you shortly. Also, that's fair. Okay. Kind of kind of making myself look like an idiot.
>> Taking this code of secrecy very seriously.
>> You do know what SIS stands for, don't you?
>> Sure.
>> I do enjoy >> stands for sh >> Perhaps we can limit the small talk. I'm sure M will be with you shortly.
>> I'd like to increase the small talk. Are you available on Friday, Mom?
Send him in >> right away. M will see you now.
>> Oh, I didn't want to cut that conversation short. It was getting so hot.
>> Take a seat.
>> Uh, okay.
Everyone's keep telling me to take seats.
>> So, Iceland.
>> Yeah, I [ __ ] crushed it, didn't I?
>> Crewman in training accidentally stumbling upon an MI6 operation of the utmost importance.
initially willing to assist, but then you hang up on us.
>> Yeah.
>> Go against me.
>> And ultimately blow up the invaluable asset we were there to retrieve.
>> I wasn't aware I was under MI6 command and I just chose not to take your advice. Mom, >> I mean, that's fair as well.
>> Uh, headstrong, kicked out of several conflicts, thrillseeking.
I do seek those thrills.
>> Issues with authority.
>> Shut up when I'm talking to you. Shut up.
>> Look, I know where this is going. You can spare me the velvet gloves. Do you mind telling me why I'm here?
>> She wants to recruit him.
>> I would like you to join his majesty's secret service.
>> Hell yeah.
>> I want to make you a spy.
You what?
>> This has been my boyhood dream.
>> Though I have to warn you, it's unlikely you'll pass the test.
>> It's unlikely you'll survive.
>> Inform you that agents have very short life expectancy.
>> Normal social life is near impossible.
>> Already don't have one.
>> If you do get caught, we will deny ever having heard of you.
>> Yeah, that's fine.
>> How does that sound?
>> What's the downside?
>> Nice. She's like, "Okay, yeah, that's the we pay you terribly."
>> Now, money pennies waiting for you outside. She'll run through the details.
>> Yeah. Put him through. You're dismissed.
>> Get out of here.
>> Yeah.
>> Get out of here faster, please. Doing a secret call.
They love me in there. Pson V.
>> I now know what M stands for.
>> No, you don't.
>> No, I don't.
>> Okay.
Not sure that it's implying. Where is Money Penny?
>> You're joining.
>> Oh, good. Money penny jump scare >> makes the walk down a lot less awkward.
>> Come on.
>> Yeah, I I I'm already lost. I don't >> program, too.
>> Just got assigned. I'll be the girl in the chair. Quite excited about it. I've been reading up on the double O's and I think the program deserves a reboot.
>> So, it's a new thing then.
>> Well, it's an old thing.
>> Well, the other recruits have been at it for 6 months.
>> Oh, you have some catching up to do.
>> [ __ ] That was always like a thing in school when someone joins like midterm or whatever and it's like, "What's your deal, new person?
Oh, I I needed to walk a teensy bit more forward.
>> Better get you up to speed. As I said, basic training and initial elimination rounds already.
>> Elimination rounds. This is American Gladiators >> for advanced training.
>> Look at these people.
>> Excel. Final exams.
>> One of them got like a 71. I can beat that. I can get a 72.
>> That's assuming that Greenway lets you stay on for that long.
>> Greenway, >> training instructor. missions above people in order.
>> Holy [ __ ] Is that like Saul from Snatch?
>> I'm sure you'll get along splendidly.
>> I need to hear his voice.
>> Anyway, I'm sending you to the MI6 training facility in Malta where you'll be joining the other recruits.
My flight's waiting for you, so you better get a move on. Break your leg, James.
Oh, man. Went back to this cut.
His barber does not get improper looking every time.
>> Yes.
>> And you're late.
>> I could only go as fast as the plane could take me. Wow.
Unless he meant like I'm late in the program, which is also not my fault.
Okay. If they're going to talk, I'm going to look this up.
>> That's the training facility.
>> Scenic.
>> You're not here for sightseeing.
>> Oh, yeah. It sounds like him.
>> Shouldn't be here at all. The sooner you realize that, the better for both of us.
>> No sightseeing.
>> Lenny James.
>> About me.
>> Oh, yeah. This is totally him. them already tried. She insists we give you a chance and >> I don't want to give you a chance >> until you get worked too hard.
>> Do first like he's also in the in Destiny 1 and two.
>> Discipline and above all dedication pure dumb luck will only get you so far.
>> Uh actually, yeah, dumb luck can get you as far as you want it to. That's what it is.
I like what you've done with the place.
Adaptive reuse without compromising the historical heritage. Bit of a splurge on the defense budgets.
>> We live up to or surpass all requirements for an intelligence service.
>> Guess that's why I'm here.
>> I better not have to do any laps. Not down for laps.
>> Here, too. You really have a knack for stating the obvious. I'm surprised. I didn't know they trained in Mortar.
>> I expect the list of things you don't know is quite extensive.
>> That may be true, but that may be true.
>> Come on. This way.
>> Am I actually going to have to do like basic training and [ __ ] I guess that's where tutorials would come in. The needle's eye.
Wow, this is a nice environment though.
Do have to say.
Malta.
Yeah. Yeah. Get that pump. Get that pump.
>> I I can do it, too. I don't want to do it now.
>> Master your ass. Good stuff. Got See you later. I'll be along with you.
>> Beautiful. Malta.
Bench press. Sets. Five. Reps. Five.
>> Thank god it's not leg day.
>> Thank god.
So, I got I got my exercise machine up in the nook right now. I haven't used it yet, but one day.
>> Meet our new star air crewman, Bond. So capable he could skip basic training.
>> That's not my fault.
>> Demonstrate his superior close combat skills.
>> Monroe, will you do the honors?
>> Love to, sir.
>> Monroe, eh?
Okay, let's kick your ass.
>> Show me what you got.
>> Who is this guy?
>> Okay, good. X's X's strike. I didn't want like souls R1 and R2. Don't really feel like that today. Ow.
[ __ ] we're playing death jam.
Get my blazing going. Get away. Whoa. He tried to do a command grab, dude. Dude, I haven't done the other tutorials yet. [ __ ] Oh, >> god damn it.
>> Jesus Christ.
>> You got to tell me what the other buttons are. The other face buttons aren't doing anything.
>> Ow.
>> There we go.
>> So perhaps some basic training might still be needed. Cresa Monroe is top of the class. I task you with bringing him up to speed.
>> But sir, >> he gets two weeks to pass basics.
>> We still have to study for social engineering.
>> Well, consider >> social engineering.
>> You like those? You know what? I'll up this one notch. If he fails, I take two credits from both of you.
>> Oh, the lads aren't going to like that.
>> I do love a challenge.
Respectfully, sir, >> I think we'd be wasting our time.
>> He's right, sir. I agree.
>> Yeah, that was not the best way to ingratiate myself with the uh rest of the the squad.
Not the best.
Hey guys, it's me, Bon. You may remember me from that embarrassing segment five minutes ago.
We're talking about secret boy stuff.
Get out of here.
Oh man, is someone going to [ __ ] in my bag Randy Orton style?
That's so going to be a thing, isn't it?
There's like a [ __ ] bag diffusing puzzle.
So yesterday was fun.
>> Listening favors for you. Obviously someone up high, but you won't get any from me.
Better candidates.
>> You won't get any dick riding crazy style from me >> here if you've earned it.
>> Well, you and Greenway both.
>> So what are we doing?
>> Where are you taking me?
Whoa.
I heard that engine coming from a mile away.
>> Is there actually driving segments? I didn't even see any.
>> Learn from the best, as they say.
>> You better learn fast. Care to explain the car?
>> 06 CVS. A classic. Seen some real life action, too, back in their day. Still a gorgeous drive.
>> I bet.
>> Go on then, get in. Do a lap around the >> Really?
I mean, I guess I must have seen a trailer at some point that had vehicle sections, but >> show you the course and give you a few pointers.
Don't crash.
>> I cannot promise that.
>> Go, go, go.
>> Holy [ __ ] Okay. Monroe wrong.
>> You need to up the game. Slow down in corners.
>> No, no, no, no, no. Speed up in corners.
That's the first thing they tell you.
Believe me, lady, I know how to drive in video games.
>> Never mind the squirly turns >> and the narrow misses. Use the handbrake.
>> Oh [ __ ] Handbrake. Oh, I don't know how to use that. Oh, >> that's better.
>> Cool. Here's the real Forza right here.
>> What a great set of wheels.
>> Nice. Oh, >> not to hit things.
>> Oh, for a first run.
>> Oh, >> that was the end. I botched it right at the very end.
>> Flop house style, baby. Whoa.
>> Oh [ __ ] How did it just load to this?
>> That was like instantaneous.
>> That didn't take too long.
>> 10 seconds. Beat that. Whoa. How does it do that?
I want to get the head shot. Was that good? Bad.
Okay, here it's at least masked with a little bit of a cutscene, but sidestep aggra command grab. It's so crazy looking.
>> Don't let it punch you.
>> Oh, of course we got parries.
>> We're in the age of parry slop.
>> That would seem really mean.
>> Like I wasn't pulling those knees.
You okay, buddy? Yeah, just a mild concussion. Cool.
>> Give me 100 one.
>> Oh my god. Really?
>> Two.
>> We actually I thought we had to sit there and do 100.
>> Course requirement is 30 seconds or less. Get to the flag.
>> Uhoh.
>> You know the drill.
>> It's so cool. It just bounces in between each segment like that. So fast. I haven't seen remember that was supposed to be a thing like with the the Ratchet game like instantaneous loading into other environments and I don't really see it in any other game thereafter. I must I must be missing something.
>> Well done.
>> Is this against Monroe? No, it's not >> him. It's really cool that we get actually like contextually do the the the training that Bond would have to do at some point.
>> And this is only over the course of what two weeks >> hit three targets.
>> Can you can you shoot three targets?
>> Lucky shot.
>> Oh, come out like that.
>> You missed the baby. You missed the blind man.
>> Nice traction. To be my best, you need to be confident, bold, and take chances.
>> I mean, can I really take chances on this like very static course that doesn't change?
>> Not bad.
>> I think I did like 30 seconds before.
Oh, [ __ ] A It's in front of girls, too.
She's in the car with me.
She's sensing my fear in my sweat.
Women can smell the fear with it, huh?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Oh, what a what a cool little end cap.
>> 99.
>> Oh my god, it's so tough. I've only done 100 push-ups once or twice.
>> 99.
Oh, there's still more.
Well, when when's the martini class?
>> Huh? Whoa.
Has to be like cap guns.
Ow. That's got to hurt him.
>> All right, >> hold on. You two get in the race, >> man. They're really going. Oh [ __ ] Yeah, I guess it was always going to get here. It's >> obviously very Arkham inspired, which is fine considering there's no Arkham games anymore.
Although, I still haven't played Lego Batman. I know that's got some [ __ ] in it, but Oh [ __ ] it is. We are playing Dep Jam.
Beat their asses.
Now I get me some dinner. That's what they promised. A hot meal.
>> Give it everything you've got.
>> Everything he's got isn't close to enough.
>> Dude, I've been doing really pretty good. Okay.
Oh, let me shoot him. Let me shoot him.
I don't see a score counter. I don't know why I'm trying to go for head shot.
>> Oh, [ __ ] Oh, what was the button for?
>> Get out of the way.
>> Well, Stamon, shoot enemy legs to stagger.
>> Okay, let me try.
>> Deal with it.
>> He's got his gun.
>> He's got his gun.
>> Out of the damn way.
>> Okay, at least there's different stuff there.
>> And shooting guys no legs is very uh Resident Evil 4 coded.
>> Oh, do I have to beat their asses, though?
Good.
>> Oh, did I fail this?
Cuz yeah, it did take a It did take a while there.
>> No, he loves it.
When did I get my revenge on Monroe?
>> Bond, you didn't.
>> Bond, you didn't.
>> You want to be rude?
>> I can't believe you shot in his bag.
>> You're up.
>> Oh, here we go. I knew it. burn in your place. Let's go.
>> Monroe, any dating horror stories you care to share? You look like a man who's had a few.
>> You think this is >> That was pretty mean.
>> Easy, mate.
>> When confronted, press Y to fake surrender. Yes, >> there's like wrestling things in this.
>> Just get by on blind luck, right? Who needs luck when you've got the Old Boy Network on your side?
>> Oh, take down. Take down. It's a take down. Call it a day.
>> Okay.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Oh my god. Monroe.
>> It is.
>> Oh, is this going to be like the fight in like the Punisher PS2 game with the Russian? Can I like throw him into [ __ ] Oh my god, the place is falling apart.
Oh, this is crazy already.
You're just going to kill me.
Why are we killing me?
Oh, [ __ ] This is This absolutely has to be a little nod to how crazy the fencing fight gets in Die Another Day, right? It's like a fight that does not need to happen. Oh.
Oh my god. We're going to [ __ ] Mortal Kombat uppercut him out that window.
>> He's really good at blocking. I will give him that.
>> How did you even get here?
>> Mommy and daddy pull some strings.
>> I don't have a mommy or daddy. Charge.
Oh, we found like an ancient tomb.
We're in like the Deadpool. There's people shooting at us.
Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] Ah, mistimed it really badly.
There you go.
Whoa.
This is so nice. This is so over the top. It's all coming down.
[ __ ] Keeping going.
It just cost MI6 like $10 million in damages.
This is like the end of like Solid Snake versus uh Liquid Ocelot.
Old Snake versus Liquid Ocelot. I hope we kiss.
Yeah.
Come on. Come on. Canadian destroyer.
Damn it.
It's just going for subs.
Sh. Calm down. Calm down, buddy. It'll be okay.
And now, are we best buds or we still going to be a dick? We're best buds.
He's laughing. He loves it.
>> That's what you got to do sometimes.
>> Just can't help yourself, can you?
>> Oh, [ __ ] We're in such trouble. Don't be sorry when you're gone.
>> Sir, this is on me.
>> Oh, he's stepping up.
>> Take the sparring outside of the ring.
>> Things might have gotten slightly out of hand.
>> Don't take the blame for him, Monroe.
>> Honestly, sir, he's cleared as close.
>> I love him. He's my best buddy.
>> I just really wanted to test him. See what he's got.
If that was out of line, I apologize.
>> I expected better from you. Well, you shouldn't have, sir.
>> And Monroe, if you want this mess, clean it up alone.
>> Uh uh. So, did you mean Bond or did you mean everything we trashed? I little confused, man. What a fun sequence.
Completely unnecessary.
>> You passed basic training.
Congratulations.
>> Yes. I mean, thank you, Mom. There is also the matter of your performance review.
>> Bond is immature and reckless.
>> Yep.
>> Guided by his gut feelings and mistaken ideas of loyalty.
>> Mhm. Accurate.
>> He's a bad influence on the other recruits.
>> You bet I am.
>> Victim to his charm.
>> Greenway recommends that I cut you from the program.
>> Not exactly a surprise.
It's been a pleasure, man. At least he's taking on the chin.
>> I want to show you something.
>> So, I actually do have alien technology.
It's really neat.
What are we actually going to see? Maybe >> trick.
>> Yes, I'd rather enjoy it myself >> down there.
>> You'll see. But first, let me give you some context. I've been heading.
>> Yeah, you need the full context for everything.
>> How many terror attacks have we had on British soil in that period?
>> As far as I know, none.
>> Dead agents blown covers.
>> I wouldn't know, Mom.
>> Also none.
>> How about the number of prevented or secretly resolved conflicts?
>> Um, well, they're secret.
So, that's just to say we're killing it here in MI6.
>> This way.
>> I need to check your clearance, sir.
Yeah, this guy. This is the guy I was referencing before. Well, not not him directly, but yeah, that's right. That's right.
>> Have we had a success rate like now?
>> Never before the precision safety intel.
>> What's the conflict resolution to such?
>> Oh god.
>> It's not going to be [ __ ] AI, is it?
>> Intelligence community.
>> Please don't be AI cuz it just means we're going to have to kill it eventually.
Oh, kind of subtle there with the Bon Barrel intro. Or we could be in an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
>> Damn it.
>> The world's first and only second generation.
>> Okay. Well, quantum computer, that's a bit different.
>> Thought those things were theoretical at best.
>> That's what we want you to think. They synthesizes millions of data streams instantaneously to make statistical deductions on matters of national security.
>> No data farms >> systems all but wiped the floor with GCHQ.
Since its activation, we've saved more lives, thwarted more attacks, lost fewer people.
>> Maybe you say so.
>> In Iceland, in case you were wondering, guiding you every step of the way.
>> Huh? How?
>> Yet it was wrong.
Theya gave you a less than 1% chance of success.
>> That's how Wait, was Money Penny Was I not talking to Money Penny and I was actually talking to an AI supercomputer?
>> You proved an important point of mine.
You see, I strongly believe >> or was money penny just using Thea as like >> an intuition in modern spy computing power.
>> That's the very reason I'm bringing back the double O's.
>> Okay, at least she knows the value >> for advanced training.
>> I am. You did an impossible thing. I would like you to do it again.
>> And again and again and again.
>> And if I can't, >> well then I don't have much use for you, do I?
>> Um, sorry. Thea's taking over the world.
She has uh appropriated all nukes.
>> I'll take you to QAB.
>> QAB? Really? We're doing it.
>> So, what's in Q Lab?
>> Apart from Q, I wouldn't really know where to begin.
>> You'll see.
You really should work on that infuriatingly secretive side of yours.
>> Oh, you don't think that I'm hitting all of the marks? But how about this? I'm sure there'll be a surprise or two for you in there.
>> Bit over the top, perhaps.
>> You just wait and see.
>> Please be dumb. Please be like a dumbass QA. Yes. And it's super dumb.
There's Doctor Who [ __ ] in here. There's flaming motorcycles from Mad Max. I'm sure Q is waiting for you.
>> Oh, I can't believe we got here.
>> Look for a sign that says taxim.
>> Meet and greet. Okay, look at everyone doing their dumb little projects.
Okay, you're busy with that. Cool. You Hello, >> Recruit Bond. If I'm not mistaken, can I help you?
>> Do you have cool [ __ ] I can mess with >> somewhere? Happens all the time. Did you can you find my jaw?
>> Um, >> what exactly is Cuban?
>> What the [ __ ] am I standing in?
>> We design customized field equipment for that extra edge.
>> I'm not getting a cyanide tooth if that's what you mean.
>> Cold War.
>> That's dumb Metal Gear solid [ __ ] >> Then we're on the same page.
>> Well, where is he?
>> Find down past the central platform.
>> Cheers.
>> Okay, cool. I can't believe we got this dumbass Q Lab. That's amazing. What else you got?
Oh, this bear probably makes your penis explode.
Qab's not sure if that will ever be useful, but >> Oh, it's this robotic arm. It keeps >> Hello.
>> Say, you're Bond, aren't you?
>> Shh.
>> The chat from the >> James Bond.
>> Why? When I heard they were bringing you into the fold, I was just delighted. Oh, >> what you did >> and without proper training.
>> You're like kind of an idiot and you were still able to do it.
>> Lucky nonsense. My friend Paxton was on the extraction team. He'd be dead if it wasn't for you.
>> Hold your head high, Bond.
>> Okay, >> I mean that.
>> Respect. Respect.
Uh, but I I need to mess with things.
Who has something that's messable?
>> Guessing this is more than a lamp.
Correct. It's also a stun grenade. Click twice in quick succession and it produces a blinding flash that you just the edge.
>> No.
>> Oh, I'm blinded temporarily.
>> Oh, that's not temporary, baby. You're blinded for life.
What else we got? Okay. What do you got?
Oh [ __ ] We've released the T virus.
>> Wow. What the [ __ ] I love this place >> about it. Tremendous design. Barely any recoil. What's next?
>> We need to talk downscaling. Oh, no you don't.
>> Yeah, hands off, Bond.
>> Sorry, my hand slipped.
>> Ah, they really made you want to do that.
>> We have the invisible car. Where's the invisible car?
>> Not a trail.
>> The payload size is fine. It's thrust and velocity that's the problem.
>> Let me try and tweak the parameters.
>> Give it a shot.
>> Uh, sure.
Ew.
Okay. Well, that was ineffective.
>> Did you guys see what I did?
>> What kind of modifications are you doing?
>> Well, Simmons's team is working on tire shers, and we have some nifty stuff in the pipeline. Snoke screen, hedgehogs, machine gun.
>> Hedgehog sprinkler.
>> Hedgehogs. Is that some sort of car term or are we just throwing hedgehogs out?
>> I know that look.
>> Sweet.
>> Slick.
>> What? Did someone just fall? Oh my god.
Did you see that jerk? She dropped her notes.
All right. I guess we got to find Q at some point, right?
Where is he? He's over here. Cool.
Hey, he does have an exploding pen.
>> James Bond, stand still.
>> Okay, >> standing still.
>> Q.
And you found him, right? Step through here, please.
>> Uh, what is this? Is this another thing that's going to irradiate me?
We're doing a 3D scan, >> please.
>> I'm going to put you in a Hideo Khjima game.
>> Hold still. Eyes open.
>> I'm getting a retina scan.
>> What was that?
>> It's your lenses. They need a little time to calibrate, so you won't see anything just yet.
>> You just give me cyber eyes.
>> Interesting.
>> Right. Follow me. I have something for you.
>> Nice.
This is a much nicer queue than normal.
Usually he's a big meanie mob beanie.
Oh [ __ ] >> You know Omega's going to get in on this.
>> Oh, you do. May I see?
>> Mhm. Very, very nice.
>> Oh my god. Straight in the trash like the WWF Women's Title Circuit 1995. Now you get a new one.
>> What a dumbass reference I just made.
>> What's the difference?
>> This one's maroon. That's navy.
>> Okay.
>> Well, yeah, we got to have the watch, right? Um I mean, yeah, there's not that much difference. It's just it's just the band burgundy.
Um, I'll go with this one because this racing stripe I feel is pretty sharp.
>> I wouldn't have predicted that, but I suppose it suits you. You're the first recruit to receive one. Give it a moment to calibrate.
>> What are we doing?
>> Switch on the Q lens overlay.
>> Oh, this is the hack [ __ ] isn't it?
Hack the world.
>> Now, use the watch to turn off the two lamps on the table in front of you.
>> Okay, that's not that mind-blowing.
>> Sure.
But they have to have like a Bluetooth or something in the lamps, right? What if not everything does? What if everything's more analog?
>> Reach angle.
>> To be honest, we haven't tested it to its limit yet.
>> Q Branch never does.
Hack objects, create chaos, waste millions of dollars.
Okay. Turn on a radio.
>> Wow, that's a lot of popcorn. I like it.
Don't change a thing.
>> Oops. It must still be set to my profile.
>> Well done, though. Let me set your watch to field mode.

>> In other words, the cool picture or the boring one. I'm gonna have to go with the uh hyper masculine imagery.
>> Sorry, it's too old school looking. If it was like a modern movie poster, I'd be like, "Yeah, no, man. [ __ ] on that."
>> If that poster goes up here, your shoes go in your room, Monroe.
>> Those two things are completely unrelated.

>> Oh, there's something there.
Use your lens to locate. Got it.
>> And perhaps it's actually >> Do I hack it?
>> Lucky for us.
>> Now we're getting somewhere. Stay up close for data extraction.
>> I have to extract all of the data from him. 7%.
>> Data still coming in.
>> How slow is MI6 technology? Oh, I don't want to be in here. There's people dancing in here.
>> I'm trying. This >> I'm up his ass.

>> Perfect. Monroe, how about you intercept the meeting? Pretend to be Pike.
>> I mean, >> you make sure Pike doesn't show.

>> Beat him up. Our best bet would be to stow him away somewhere.
>> You might need to be a hitman.

>> Is he somewhere here?
>> He's not sitting where he where he was.
So, he moved on somewhere. Okay. Well, let's just open up doors.
Bathroom. Bathroom.
>> This will do nicely.
>> This will do. Uh, make Pike follow.
Stom away in there. Perfect.
Oh, there he is. Son of a [ __ ] Make Pike follow.
I guess I sick him, right? Well, can I talk to him first? Let's say talk. Yeah.
>> Joshua Pike. Change of plans. Come with me.
>> Your contact had to abort last second.
I'm his replacement. If you want this deal to happen, then start walking.
>> Okay. Okay. I'll walk.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Come with me into the mysterious bathroom.
It's warm and safe there.
>> In here. Off to you.

>> I thought I was going to beat him up and put him in the stall.
>> I've got you covered. Fried his sib.
>> Time for phase two. Bond, meet me by the stairs.
>> Yeah, we didn't do a super good job.
Just an a mediocre job, which makes sense, right?
given my history. All right, >> here. Let's do one for the socials.
>> And and you know, you know that IO Interactive loves their like hugely dense crowd levels, right? But it makes sense that that James Bond game would have one.
>> Put on Bond.
>> Now we just need Monroe to scare the socks off of her so she calls her boss.
>> Change of plans.
>> There's always a change of plans.
>> Expecting someone tall, dark, and handsome. And two out of three won't do.

>> Why do little men like you always >> I don't know. You must know we won't play along.

>> Call him.
>> Who's this?
>> Sabrina.
>> Uh uh.

>> She's not my girlfriend.
>> Damn right. Don't believe a word he says. All smooth, but such a liar.
[ __ ] I'm done. Deals are >> Oh, not convinced.
>> Go. The offer is up. It's now or never.
>> I'm so bad at talking to them.
>> [ __ ] >> Give me a few minutes. I need to make a phone call.
>> I think that was like a last ditch button in case you screwed it up. It feels like it.
Can I hack your phone?
>> He wants more money.
>> Done. She's making the call.
>> What?
>> Took you so long.
>> Things got complicated. Well done, recruit.
>> I wonder if you could like handle the girl the the Sabrina Carpenter situation differently.
>> To arrive gets extra credit.
>> It sure did take a while, but I've always known those looks of yours that get us in trouble. So, >> yeah, you're very ugly, Bond.
>> Turning down the keen ones.
>> You wouldn't know, Sing, but it actually takes a lot of practice. I'll give you some pointers one of these days, Bond.
>> Thanks, Kingsley.
>> Extraction, guys. Tick tock.
>> Okay, are we doing it? We're gaining the extraction point. We got to get the [ __ ] out of here. But I feel like everyone I've wronged in this club, which is a lot of people, like I made so many people sick. I lied a ton.
>> So, we just need to leave. We just need to leave. Let's get the [ __ ] out. No, everyone. I've runed.
It's like I'm fighting the the the sorrow.
Yeah, my squad's got me.
Or he's just going to be fighting. Cool.
Okay, we can do that.
>> Damn it.
>> Okay, this dude. How did you get out >> of the coma I put you in?
>> Everyone's like, "Yeah, yeah, Death Jam's back."
Throw them into the crowd for extra damage.
>> Do I Oh, I thought I had the ability to lure for a second. I don't know why we'd be doing that, but yeah, we did it.
Oh, >> you're late.
>> Stop saying we're late to everything.
>> Might say there's still time for a pain.
Back in. Let's go back in.
Did we pass?
I need you all in the office. Oh, >> I think we did well. I only made half of London angry at me.
>> Suspending training. Effective immediately. A situation's arisen. A matter of considerable delicacy.

>> I guess there really is someone for everyone.
Then where do we come in, Mom? Last time I checked, cutting deals with traitors was not in our playbook.
Is a master infiltrator. As resourceful as he is, >> and as paranoid as he is resourceful, >> this man's idea of lazy. To catch him, we're going to need eyes everywhere.

Bond.
I swear I didn't do it. And if it's good a thing, then I did do it.
>> Greenway wasn't happy with your performance last night, and he's reluctant to bring you along. Just a heads up, >> right?
Any advice?
>> Doing what you're told might be a good start.
>> That's not why you hired me. You're hired me cuz I don't do what I'm told.
>> Ponson B, >> are you still available on Friday or not? Come on. I'm into the Golden Girls.
Like, I'm really into the Golden Girls.
All right. I think that's a nice quite extended look into 007 First Light. Um, I think this is fantastic, honestly. Um, yeah, it's, you know, very AAA game that you may have uh played before, but I think it's doing the James Bond world uh a massive service and really really expanding out everything you could hope to see in one. not even any gunplay into like almost this three-hour chunk that we played, which is a good thing. I I think it's really really the last line of defense or offense um in terms of gameplay and stuff and doing all the sneaky things is like the main thing, which is like interesting for a James Bond game cuz there's been very few that have even touched upon that before. But let me know what you think in the comments below if you like to see more in the future. Um, I'm happy that as as of the time of this recording, like it seems like it is a success. I think IO Interactive announced it sold like 1.5 million copies in the first 24 hours.
And it's like this did seem like a make or break for them, you know, like like if this did not sell, who knows what would have happened, but uh yeah, very happy with this. And then new James Bond movies in the future that 00 the world of 007 and espionage and British accents and dry martinis shake and not stirred is is looking up. And until then folks I will see you in the MI6 flop house.
Yeah.
Yeah. Well, it's the lyrical paragraphs.
You try to make me laugh. You're in front of that microphone.
