This analysis effectively captures the tension between Norton’s psychological depth and the MCU’s eventual shift toward Ruffalo’s ensemble-friendly charm. It serves as a sharp reminder of the franchise's early, more experimental era before it settled into a predictable formula.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK (2008) REACTION - WAS EDWARD NORTON BETTER THAN MARK RUFFALO?! -ROAD TO DOOMSDAYAdded:
Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom betom nom Hulk banner. Oh foreshadowing goddamn abomination guys murdering human beings in the street.
>> That was crazy.
>> Hey guys, so apparently uh the reaction to the postredit scene in Iron Man 1 wasn't put in the edit. So check this out.
>> Truth is, >> man, >> I am Iron Man.
She the only one who doesn't stand.
>> Yes. Ah, dude. That's a hell of an ending. That is a That is a [ __ ] gosh.
>> It's top five MCU for me. And I don't think that's going to change watching all of them. It's It's been top five since 2008. I think I think it's still there.
>> Jarvis, >> welcome home.
>> I am Iron. You think you're the only superhero in the world? Mr. Stark, you become part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet.
>> Who the hell are you? Nick Fury, director of SHIELD. I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative.
>> Oh, that was cool, guys. Great stuff.
>> All right, now we're going to watch The Incredible Hulk today.
>> Thank you guys who watched last week.
That was I'm really happy with the way the response went down for that because this is a long road ahead of us. We are venturing off into The Incredible Hulk, the only one with Edward Nordon. Whoa.
Been a hot minute since I've seen this one, but I saw it three times in the theaters. Before I was influencer Alba.
>> Oh, >> it was when you had to wait in line where you got those advanced screenings that they hand out AMC.
>> I had a fake ID so I could keep going to those a little bit into my acting career.
>> Gen Oh, yeah. Because they don't let industry.
>> Exactly. So, I had a fake ID like I was buying booze, but it was for movies.
>> Yeah. Genius. The last time you saw this, do you remember your What's your like general feelings on this film?
>> I'm generally a Hulk defender.
Incredible Hulk I think is a little slept on. I think Norton is a better banner. I think Ruffalo is a better team Hulk.
>> Okay, cool. That makes sense. That makes sense.
>> Like people talk about the Batman's a lot of like I like Bruce Wayne. I like his Batman. I feel like Hulk doesn't get that kind of connotation and conversation. And I think Ruffalo is an excellent team member for the Avengers and he's good in those dynamics. But I think if you're looking at what Bruce Banner is, Ed Norton nails that more.
And the theoretical second Incredible Hulk, I think, would have been highlight of the phase one and two era cuz it seems like it's so Ed Norton and such a thing. So, I think this movie is It's kind of a bummer we didn't get more, but I I like this film.
>> All right. Well, let's see if you still like it.
>> We'll find out together.
>> Watch it with that analytical eye as we head into Avengers Doomsday. Let's go.
A Universal Marvel film, a different time.
>> I believe the director of the Transporter made this one.
>> Yep. Louise. Letter letter box.
>> Good old Louis letter box.
>> I read that Hulk comic not long ago. The one where he's like way in the future.
It's been a few hundred years. Oh my god. What was it called? I can't remember the name of it.
>> Was he Maestro? Like did he have long hair?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Maestro stuff's cool.
>> That was a cool one.
>> Oh, the immediate science.
>> Oh, Valhalla Motion Pictures also did that Punisher we just watched.
Interesting. That must have been a subsidiary somewhere cuz that was Lionsgate.
To my understanding, the director of this movie was a big fan of the show.
So, even having this credit sequence is kind of like the opening credits to a television show.
>> Yeah. You feel that DNA in this show for sure.
>> It's going to be interesting to watch this now with Captain America 4 being like the sequel to this in an odd way.
Very the TV show.
>> Oh, yes.
It does do a good job at hammering home the dangers of it when you put in the P cuz they're putting you in the POV of banner in this moment.
>> Yeah. And the love and trauma.
>> It's all visual.
Surprised they didn't just arrest him there.
>> It's also really bold to do this for a first Hulk film in the MCU. like to just kind of go through the opening credits as a movie cuz the Eric Vana one wasn't long before this.
>> Why didn't Thunderbolt Ross just arrest him when he was at the hospital there?
>> Cuz then the movie's over.
>> Like she's like, "Get out of here."
>> Hey, what you did was bad.
>> Green Sasquatch Stark Industries shared universe, y'all.
That's right. This is the movie that had the postredit scene in the trailer.
>> Oh yeah. What an early thing to do.
That's crazy.
>> Nick Fury's name there.
>> A lot of plot, a lot of science.
>> I feel like if you pay very very close attention, you can see all those details.
such a Norton fan. I really wonder.
That's that's my big what if of the MCU.
>> Well, Norton does strike me as a guy with a temper problem.
>> Yeah. Yeah. And science and analytical and like very OCD in a way, >> but he's also so funny. Like his Wes Anderson work, he's he's a fascinating actor.
>> What a way to establish an incoming action chase scene.
>> Before every movie was doing it.
>> It's 2008. They're around the born time.
Is it ready?
>> Do we ever see that dog again?
>> Hulk dog Eric Bano.
>> Father, >> is that an Easter egg that that I can >> That was the era of the show.
>> Oh, like when a child's learning language from Sesame Street.
>> That'd be a smart way to do it. That's clever.
Love how vibrant it is. We were saying that with Iron Man, but the colors in this are fantastic. The setting obviously helps.
>> This movie made me always want to learn how to do this.
>> The Wim Hoffen, the breathing skills, >> look at his diaphragm.
>> This dude's diaphragm is insane.
>> That [ __ ] Oh god, so impressed. That's like hard control over your diaphragm.
>> So cool.
I find I hold my breath a lot when we're filming because I don't want to breathe into the microphone.
>> I find I hold my breath a lot in life, which I think is a sign of stress.
>> Yes.
>> His hair is so dyed black.
>> I was looking at that. That last shot was really telling of it. It was very, very dye.
>> Green locker room, green shirt.
Everything's green. This is a Hulk movie.
>> Wonder if that breathing thing is a re-shoot because this normal brown hair here looks fine. Yeah, it's a good point. Green juice.
>> Impossibly attractive woman to work with.
>> Yeah, man. Oh my god.
>> Hey. Hey.
>> She was checking him out, too, but he could never.
>> He couldn't. His heart can't go up. And also Betty.
>> Okay.
From what I remember about how the Bana movie ends, this in a way could be a spiritual sequel to that.
>> Yeah, that's what I mean by the origin.
Like it feels like it kind of picks up as if just in case.
>> So good.
>> No, no, no. Shut that off.
>> Turn it off.
>> That's a strong blood drop.
What were we saying about him beforehand? That he's a better what?
>> Bruce Banner.
>> I believe Ruffalo a little bit more as a scientist.
>> Oh, interesting.
>> He seems like Ruffalo comes across like a scientist to me.
>> See, I I feel the rage underneath and the the intelligence and like maybe not science, but like just overall smarts plus energy of Bruce Banner. I do agree like especially with the Avengers movie how good Ruffalo is at the science element but relationships are such a huge part of the banner story to me and obviously there's no Betty Ross with the Ruffalo.
>> That's true. That's true. I mean I think no one is great though.
>> Wow. He did not help save me.
He's >> a good man.
Hey spider queen.
>> He still gets to go to lunch with her though.
>> Yeah, >> they cut that scene out. They cut that scene out.
>> I think you'd have to be rude.
Yeah, labor hair looks way better than, you know, relaxing hair day for him.
>> Yeah, it's interesting.
>> Two very different hairs.
>> Wolverine all over again, folks.
>> There it is, guys. The hair continuity.
See that?
>> To get out of here.
>> Whole relationship with her. And that's the best photo he has.
I can hear him in his text, which I enjoy.
>> You're the leader.
>> I really like it. It's how I talk when I write and text.
Wonder how filmmakers come up with all this stuff. Just seems like a whole bunch of [ __ ] >> Science. He's doing the science.
>> If you do enough stuff, people won't question.
>> Run back and forth. Show some tubes.
show some spinny like did the screenwriter just go and he does science stuff and the director's like oh Zack Penn I guess we got to learn with science stuff.
>> What a drastic departure from that Hulk movie I've only seen one time.
>> The Eric Panel one.
>> Yeah, it's this like so straightforward.
>> Yeah, I barely remember that one. I remember it being like we're trying to make cinema and it's comic books.
>> It's uh the director is Angley.
>> It's Angley. Yeah. It's very ambitious.
>> The director of Brokeback Mountain.
>> Yeah. This is much more of an action movie. This This is just Let's Build DMCU.
>> Hey, >> here's something a bit more interesting.
It's possible gamma sickness.
>> He was perfect casting. Here he is. is >> a man drank one of those Garana sodas.
Guess it had a little more kick than he was looking for.
>> Oh, >> where was it? Bottled >> verde Brazil.
>> Tell them no contact. If he even sees them, he's gone.
>> Yeah, he is perfectly cast. That is General Thunderbolt Ross.
>> Harrison Ford's good, too. But >> yeah, but we're talking like comic like Sam Elliot was in the other Hulk movie.
They're both good.
>> Oh yeah.
>> And that's pretty perfect.
>> That's pretty perfect. Yeah, >> that guy.
>> It's got an SDCC bench.
>> I got you. I could shot notice.
>> They were just off a whole H.
>> A mu blowski. Born in Russia, raised in England, and on loan to socom from the Royal Marines.
>> But he's definitely not American.
Everything else.
>> We got local out there, but we want a tight quiet.
>> See if your target is a fugitive from the US government. trank him and bring him back.
>> Oh, that's a cool transition from the helicopter to the blades of >> smart. I I respect a good transition >> cuz it you can tell the premeditated thought.
It sucks about the lack of success this movie had and the rights issues because it's a pretty good worldbuing setup.
And in the era of the heyday of Born and Mission Impossible, I could see how this movie was very much influenced by it.
>> Yeah, Iron Man feels like it started something. This feels like a product of the late 2000s.
Home.
>> A beautiful setting to have these sweeping shots and looming action.
Wow, the structure. Never been to a country like that.
>> Me either. I mean, I love it in in film, but it's >> probably really tight in real life.
>> I mean, New York is pretty stacked, but that's another animal.
>> Testing said that they didn't like seeing the dog get shot.
>> It breathed. I think it was tranked.
>> Get rid of the damn dog.
Man, Banner just abandons his dog.
>> A banner.
>> Abandoner.
>> That's the wig. It was the died wig.
>> No soul on how he does that.
>> Oh, she happens to live there, too.
>> Oh, she lives downstairs.
>> He's on the ground.
>> So, I guess he wears a wig.
>> That's all right. That makes it makes the hair more acceptable.
>> I hair continuity. We're back.
>> He really I ever caught that in the first watch.
>> Me neither. Probably because we weren't paying attention to his weird hair.
>> Look at the constant green tint this movie has. Go.
>> I buy Tim Roth. Military special ops.
Like he he carries himself very specifically.
>> Tim Roth is a very underrated actor.
Yeah, I was thinking earlier when he landed like he doesn't work enough. He was a highlight of She-Hulk for me was seeing him come back cuz I was like, "What is happening?"
>> All these white people chasing each other through the streets right now.
>> This is our neighborhood. What are you doing?
>> Light parkour.
>> We take the stairs.
>> My Marvel disguise. I left it.
I like that reaction from the day player there.
>> You know, banner is methodical enough to have sort of semi mapap this out.
>> Which route to take? What's rooftops?
100%.
>> Oh man, as a man who's gotten so into running, this looks like so much [ __ ] fun. This looks like a blast. Seriously, I would love to do this.
>> Free running, man. It's all the rage.
>> I want to get a Coca-Cola.
>> I'd like a green drink.
Oh, that's so smart, man. And I love the setup of this film.
>> Diaphragm. Diaphragm. Hair looks black.
Hair looks really black right now.
Diaphra.
Oh, that look.
>> Going to run behind her.
>> He didn't give himself a weapon, but I want him to see me. I'm present.
If he had just let him run closer, he probably would have could have >> or shot him with a trank that he had had in the truck.
>> Of course, >> you got to be kidding me.
>> Training.
>> And we saw him deal with the training earlier.
>> What a cool ticking clock of his heartbeat and us knowing >> the drumming compliments the heartbeat.
>> Yeah.
Gringo. It's interesting the comics haven't had like this is very much a product of like Peter David's run and the and the military stuff, but comics haven't have gone way more supernatural in the last 20 years of Hulk. So, this doesn't feel like the Hulk comics of today, which is an interesting feeling.
>> I don't even think MCU would do this type of Hulk now.
>> No, I don't think movies or comics reflect this right now cuz you're right, Jason Bourne and also the Hulk right now is supernatural.
>> Hey, good boy.
This is not a good representation of the people in Brazil.
Oh, and for the phase one era, like this feels so different from Iron Man.
>> That's what I was saying. This reflects a totally different type of film in08 and it came out months later >> cuz there was that certain period where the Marvel movie started to like look and feel similar.
>> This is certainly not there yet. I think all of phase one is pretty desperate and now it's rewarding to be the Hulk.
Oh, the Hulk shot.
>> Yeah. Again, that's reflected later.
They use that shot really well.
>> Use every trunk you got. Do it now.
>> I love how we're seeing him build up piece by piece.
>> Yeah. First act is all monster. All obscured. Shot of the bottles. The bottles that brought them here.
And they're doing a really good job with building Tim Roth's interest >> and skill. Like the way he moves compared to everybody else.
>> Well, he's such a good actor. You can feel a whole character behind his eyes.
Like the way he moves is so specific.
>> Yeah. And not American.
>> Yeah. Very >> everything but American in his DNA.
>> Well, there's like a comfortableness in the way he's doing this.
>> Yeah. And the gun handling and and his physicality.
>> Awesome. Wow, I don't remember that shot. That was a cool shot.
>> I love things that feel like a Universal set.
>> Yeah, I love them. This feels like practical, but except for him.
>> The atmosphere, all the shadows, it works great.
Wow, what overkill. For what Hulk uses, I'm surprised he doesn't murder more people.
>> Yeah. I mean, he's like a nuclear bomb in some story lines.
>> No. No.
>> You could tell he he doesn't like feeling the feeling of being scared.
>> Yeah. All at some glances.
>> I knew something was different before I got the shot off. Had it on him when he bolted.
It's her girlfriend.
She helps him. Maybe >> she's hot. What do you think of her?
Would you do her? Would you do her mustache? Huh?
>> Look how great. Look at Look at this girl is.
>> Yeah. Can I keep this photo? I >> I kind of want it.
>> He didn't lose us. And he was not alone, sir. We had him. And then something hit us. Something big hit us.
>> You can feel like the jealousy and and the the fear and like he said, not wanting to be afraid.
>> I'm going to put my foot on his throat and I'm >> It was Ben.
It was dinner.
>> You have to explain that statement, sir.
>> You know, I I think most of our commentary is going to be about how good Roth is.
>> 100% strap in for a lot of us going, "Wow, what a great line delivery. Oh, he's so good here.
>> Look at that expression there. There's so much layers >> and like William hurting him." Like, it's just so masterful how little they need to say.
>> Straightforward screenplay that's elevated by really good actors.
>> So far, I stand by it. Movie slept on.
It's still not top half MCU, but it's a it's a damn fine Hulk film. And I would also say the strength of the MCU is that this is probably bottom third, but that's how strong like 70% of the MCU is.
>> Classic Hulk.
>> That's great.
>> You think if they shot this today, they'd have him get unnecessarily buffed?
>> I was going to say he's in pretty great shape for I mean Norton's not usually like a shredded guy and he's got he has he's got the six pack. Yeah, he's got like low body fat, high cardio type of body.
>> He's got that Tony Stark build.
>> No, no, he's way more like cardio lean.
He doesn't really look like much of a lifter here.
>> Yeah, that's true, actually. Yeah, but he's still like a above average, but not extreme.
>> Definitely. Definitely. Yeah.
>> I think he's the same level of fit, but different physicality.
>> His body looks more like he does like push-ups and pull-ups >> and calisthenics and like uh yoga and things that he would do to stay calm.
>> Exactly. Very specific.
>> I'm like a crate of bananas to go, please. They've also never made uh what's it ruffle do a shirtless gratuitous Hulk.
>> He was naked in Avengers at one point.
>> I forgot that.
>> Was he shredded?
>> Don't remember.
>> All right. See you in four movies.
>> Sir, if you're taking another crack at him, I want in. You should be looking for a team that's prepped and ready to fight because if that thing shows up again, you're going to have a lot of professional tough guys pissing in their pants, sir.
>> Oh, he's a thrillseker. And I like how he looks so He's like older than Edward Nordan, too. Like he's been around. Oh, the Incredible Hulk theme.
See, this feels super Bruce Banner to me.
>> Definitely. Definitely.
>> Oh, purple pants.
>> Can I smell stretchy?
>> Thanks. Say this.
>> Yeah, you would still be something getting shot at all the time. how scary that would be. Even as the Hulk, like inside your memories of that would still be traumatic.
>> Yeah. In your day-to-day as a human, you'd have to not feel all this anxiety that you're probably feeling all the time, which could also trigger your Hulk burst.
>> Well, on the run, >> he's living the life of Crank >> of Ratchet and that's Crank.
>> Yeah. Jason Stathithm's Crank.
>> You got to make sure his heart rate stays below instead of above.
>> Amy Smart.
>> Well, in WW2, they initiated a subprogram for biotech force enhancement. What are they talking about?
>> The haller trying to arm you better.
>> They were trying to make you better.
>> Is Thor next or Cap Thor?
>> He thought he was working on radiation resistance. I would never have told him what the project really was, but he was so sure of what he was on, he tested it on himself. And something went very wrong.
>> For it went very right.
>> Tell me, Moon.
>> He is not one of us.
>> Blonsky, how old are you? 45.
>> 39.
>> Should be a colonel by now with your record.
>> No, I'm a fighter. Do they like DH him or something as the movie goes?
>> Oh, they do after the transformation.
Yeah. I also think he is actually in his mid-40s and he said 39. Like that's what you say.
>> Oh, I took it more as that because he's he looks 45 but 30 that what he does for a living is just Warren.
>> I took it as like No, no, I still got fighting in me. I'm 39. I've been 39 for 6 years.
>> No, that's a koi answer.
>> Yeah. Well, he looks older than me.
>> That man That man looks older than me.
I'm a I'm a I'm a ripe young not yet 39 almost >> 50 cent you know there's there's phases of 50 skinny 50 tall about 50 of a skinny 50 >> of skinny 50 where you got did that movie the cancer >> movie cancer 50 >> a poor poor actor fitty he's jacked again for street fighter >> buck 50 >> yeah he's about a buck 50 hair Tim Roth yelling that things are Elizabeth Ross. Uh, I don't see any other Easter eggs. I'm sure there were.
>> Quinn Scott. Lester.
>> Lester Richards. Reed Richard's cousin, Lester. Everyone knows him.
>> Yeah.
>> Everyone's favorite cousin of >> everyone always read >> Lester. Everyone talks about me, Lester.
>> Neurobiology.
This was one of my favorite whatifs was they did this campus stuff. The Hulk stuff and what if was solid.
I don't want to close my eyes.
>> Song's so creepy because it's like her dad singing about her and Ben Affleck just going at it.
>> I don't remember what scene remember he has deleted scenes where Edward Nordon and him are like interacting like therapy sessions.
>> Oh, that's fun.
>> It was in the trailer.
>> Oh, that sounds like noticeable things in the trailer that are not in this movie.
>> He's like Samson, >> I believe. I believe that's his character name. Samson in the comics's therapist that gets irdiated has, you know, green long hair like Samson.
>> Yeah, definitely a Drew Blake there.
That's for sure.
>> Have you talked to her?
>> No, she doesn't know that I'm here.
She's with somebody.
>> Yeah, he's a he's a head shrink. They say he's one of the best.
>> But you see what I mean by like world building.
>> Mhm.
>> So, it does an all right job. Sub Samson leader.
>> Yeah.
>> Abomination super soldier. The military feels different than Iron Man, but you can feel that world.
>> I definitely never noticed this entire like cinematography green filter this movie has.
>> Oh, yeah. It's like definitely green.
>> Yeah, >> like the Matrix. Hey, >> it's from I Love You Man.
>> Oh, everybody loves Not the Hole.
>> I got an extra medium. Take it on the house.
>> That's a fun reaction. Oh, that's a really fun one. You are the man.
>> God bless you, brother.
>> I love the passing of the torch. Oh, it's so good.
>> He was also in Pumping Iron with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
>> Is he in that? I need to see the Arnold docks. I haven't seen any of them. Feel like they'll inspire me.
>> You would love Pumping Iron.
>> Would I?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> He's supposed to be Amadeus Cho, right?
Which is an odd white. Yeah, if I remember correctly. And then he comes back in Spider-Man, not as this character.
I want to buy a Dell.
>> I want pizza.
>> Oh, the guy. He's the Silicon Valley guy.
>> Yeah. And he's in Spider-Man. He's a teacher.
>> Oh my god. If he doesn't have a beard, I barely recognize him.
>> Yeah. And I think he's supposed to be Amadeas Joe, which is so funny and odd.
>> Green.
Red. Red.
I just keep that on every computer. And this is our encryption app.
So, is he just like always by his like old computer waiting for this guy to contact him?
these little like subtle reactions of him interacting to data or messages.
It's actually really hard for an actor to do because you have to like really make can't do it over the top like he doesn't interact with a lot of people cuz he's on the run. So he's having to react to everything not person >> I got nothing but marinara now >> I got Mr. Pink Stan.
>> I go. So, so yes. I mean, where were you? I can't.
>> You could have just said, "I'll be right back."
>> Warned Dan at all.
>> Whoa. It's a clear shot.
>> That is such a cool shot.
>> Right then and there, I'm breaking up with you.
>> Yep, that's it. She knows what she wants.
>> Sorry, guy.
>> I'm not secure enough for them to have a conversation.
I really like how that was shot.
>> Yeah. I'm not sure this movie gets enough credit for how much they have to communicate only visually and expressions. There's a there's a fair amount of show don't tell.
>> Yeah. I mean, it's a very visual movie from both the villains and the heroes.
>> Just tell me if I saw what I think I saw.
>> I don't know what to say.
>> Please just tell me the truth.
>> So, is uh is he in the comics? Pizza man.
>> I mean, everybody loves pizza man.
Incredible Hulk number 72. Pizza man.
>> What a beautiful silhouette.
>> Very, very much the show.
You can sense it's her.
Little romcom rain.
>> Not the night to wear white.
>> Don't go. Don't go.
>> Oh, almost a kiss.
>> I want you to come with me now. Please come with me, >> man. When she loves, she loves. Live Tyler, dude. She knows how to love.
>> There's such an intensity to her, like how how pale her skin is, how intense her voice is. Like, there's this it's so striking.
>> She's the daughter of an artist.
>> Grew up in the arts.
>> It's our data. I got in there before they carted it all away.
>> Does the general know that you have this?
>> I don't think so. I haven't spoken to him in a couple of years. You have to be sure.
>> Specific choice of words.
>> The general >> versus dad.
>> Mhm.
>> He wants it out of me. He wants to dissect it so that he can replicate it.
He wants to make it a weapon.
>> Why? Why would you tell him on that?
>> He said it when he wasn't arresting him.
He's like, "As he's kicking him out.
This is what I want to do."
>> Yeah. Then I'm going to come hunt for you.
>> And I'm going to take it out of you.
It's going to be a weapon.
>> Give you a head start.
>> You got two days. I'm going to search the rest of my life.
>> It's a lifestyle choice. I need the hunt.
Stark. More Stark.
>> I didn't realize how much buildup they were doing in Captain America.
>> Yeah. I mean, it's got three movies of tease.
>> Yeah, they're really teasing specifically Captain America.
>> And then he was the first Avenger.
>> I should leave early. As early as I can.
>> Really?
>> Green wall.
>> Green wall.
>> If I could borrow some cash.
>> Of course.
>> I need to take a bus.
>> Do you take Bitcoin?
Venmo. cash app.
>> You have everything you need.
>> Yeah.
>> I like the weight between them. You can feel the history, but also like the never see each other again possibility.
>> And also the having to create a boundary.
>> Yeah.
A literal divide that that wall.
>> They want to kiss but can't.
>> Green sheets.
>> Green sheets.
>> Audience is so done with this game.
They're like, "Yeah, we get it."
>> I don't think they really get it.
>> It's an every shot.
>> It's in every shot. Man, >> we're giving you a very low dose only.
>> I can't remember what's the real body.
This body or the weird ripped body >> of Tim Roths?
>> Yeah, I know. He gets a weird ripped body at one point.
>> You'll get two separate infusions. One into the deep muscle, one into the bone marrow centers.
>> That looks real.
>> Yeah, it looks like a guy.
It >> also matches the level of fat in his face and neck.
Ooh. Ooh. I'd hate that.
>> I'd hate that.
Little spinal tap.
Had a massager. I had that experience recently.
Right out a needle >> when using deep focus was a choice and not a requirement for every shot.
Oh, this isn't on the volume. They're actually in a physical place.
>> The era of YouTubing and such made so many films go, "Yeah, defocus every shot. Defocus >> and saving costs."
>> Just want to do this.
>> It's better like that.
>> What?
>> Not a very subtle soldier.
>> You have to go far away from me as you can. Don't argue with me. Just go.
>> Go.
>> I got chills. Yeah, that was such a moment. That was so smart of him. You feel like the chase of how long he's been on the run.
>> Damn it. We got snipers on target in three more minutes. I want to know who jumped that gun.
That flailing soldier at the columns.
Such a good shot.
Awesome.
>> Oh, how' they do that one?
>> Uh that track running and then it pulls you as you're running in real time past the >> I was looking for the track on that shot. I think that's how they did it.
It's really great effect.
Hulk shot.
>> That is the Hulk shot with >> banner.
>> Green books. Sit by the green ones.
That's where you're safe.
>> We've all been there.
>> What a man.
I can hold it up. I can do it.
>> Chucking down a sand disk.
>> Come on. You've done hard things harder than this. Stop.
>> I know you're in there.
General, please.
>> You knew it was that tank. She's military. That's like the leader tank, maybe.
>> Dad, please don't do this.
>> There he is.
>> We have a visual.
>> Do not engage. Repeat, do not engage.
>> Damn, this is such a good sequence. The action in this movie is so good.
>> Yeah.
>> Like there's an intensity to all of it.
>> And the score is so solid.
>> Score indeed. Yeah.
This glass cage for the visuals we're about to get. So perfect.
>> Stretchy pants. Where is it? Little flash of thunder.
>> Get her back here.
>> You're no match for Betty Ross.
>> Cool.
Yeah. He wants it. He wants it.
First time we keep him in shadow. Now we see our first transformation.
>> Cool. And in the daylight, it's pretty good.
>> Yeah.
>> Such a different design than where we landed.
>> Cool. Rack focus.
>> Let him have all of it.
>> You really got to prepare better.
Bye, Alpha team.
>> Where are the 50?
>> I love that it's like gnats.
>> That guy's nose all over Betty.
>> That looks pretty cool.
>> And it's smart to do this in a park where it's all green so that way he blends better.
>> And you got plenty of space to actually do the stunt practically and add him.
>> I love the details of his design. And he's he's like a truly roided out thing.
>> Yeah. The chest rations and all the muscle fibers moving.
>> Man, the confidence to stand up to this Hulk.
>> Remember me?
>> The first quasi super soldier we get.
>> That is true.
>> I I would not have thought of that in order.
Damn. Was Was he able to do half these moves? My >> god, he's doing >> So, the super soldier stuff gave him the ability to flip.
>> I mean, he had some agility and it enhanced it.
>> Just making sure we're on the same page here.
>> Yeah.
>> The technology to stop super beings and people with telepathic abilities.
>> You need sound.
>> You need sonic sound.
>> It's going to be handy with Venom one day.
Good wire work detail.
>> Tim Roth. Tim Roth is the thumbnail.
>> Oh, he's so good. Look at everyone watches this for Tim Roth. Down for the Hulk.
>> I love those. Like, you might not You might have gotten me if not for her being here for it to inspire me moment.
Like, I love when movies have that little glance of knowing even if it's a Hulk.
Did not anticipate him having these weapons.
Man, it looks so real there.
That looks so good. Look how good that looks.
>> Yeah, man. The confrontation.
>> Blonsky, pull back now.
>> Oh, that rebel attitude.
>> Is that all you got?
Jesus Christ.
Fall back. I see Willie in the background. Damn it.
>> It's my expensive soldier and the casualness of the fall back.
>> Sun's getting real low, big guy.
>> Stop firing.
Okay. Hulk does murder.
>> They deserved it.
>> What a solid beat for the movie to have.
>> Yeah. Him willing to sacrifice his daughter, but not all the way. Like the realization of what he's done, >> but then also seeing the holy, he saved my daughter. Yeah.
>> The good guy still in there.
>> A you're so adorable, Hulk.
I will eat herom.
Bet you bet you nom.
>> Yeah, they cut out a lot of this guy's scenes.
>> He got a pretty big show soon after.
>> I think it was during.
>> Oh, >> you almost killed her.
>> I give you my word. Her safety is my main concern at this point.
>> This point?
>> I don't know where he's going. I know she'll help him if she can.
>> And she's aiding a fugitive and I can't help either one. I used to wonder why she never talked about you. Now I know.
>> Cuz he's anshole. Just the worst.
>> We're just going to have that soldier walk. Everyone else get in the tank in the car.
>> This guy outside in the rain.
>> Swan soldier. You just have him walk.
>> He's on probation. He did some [ __ ] He was the guy that revealed where they all were. Yeah.
>> Oh no.
This feels King Kong.
>> I'm sure that's what they said when they were making it to >> the water effects always help CGI, but it looks really good. Like the moisture and stuff adding a texture.
>> Great blending.
>> Damn you, God.
I like how he looks almost gray there for the the greyhulk origins.
>> It's okay.
>> A >> It's okay.
>> His love for her runs so deep.
>> Damn, it looks so real. Insane. Yeah, not all of it holds up, but there's a lot that really does. Like that looks great. A >> lot of shots where it does.
>> It's just the rain.
>> I mean, AI could fix it now. Oh, yeah.
It's quick pass a Grock or whatever. I will say this for him. He's got a heart like a machine. Never seen anything like it outside of a racehorse.
There goes my investment.
>> God, dramatic fist clinch. We need more.
>> Oh, and the eye pop.
>> Never done a dramatic fist clinch.
>> Open every reaction with just I want to buy Coke.
>> Various candies.
Wow, what a transition. That was great.
>> That sucks. Got to live with the trauma like that.
>> Always being shot at like on the run.
God, it must be so hard to come back out of your mouth. Who's >> Oh, hi.
>> Okay, so they didn't have a great selection, but I got you a few options.
First things first.
>> Oh, you're kidding me.
>> They were the stretchiest pair they had.
>> I'll take my chances.
>> Rumors continue to swirl about a violent clash between.
>> They never let them wear the comic accurate.
>> No. Why isn't vibrant purple and vibrant green? That's in the sequel. You got to earn the costume.
>> That is true.
>> It's like he named him >> green office. Their search for the mysterious Hulk was postponed by powerful thunderstorms in the Smoky Mountains.
>> Oh, you mean thunderbolts? Ross green motel sign.
>> Take short back there. Okay, >> I have done this before. You know, >> he hasn't had that intimate touch in so long.
>> You've done this on your own for all this time >> with Clippers usually.
>> He was uh too afraid to get worked up at a hair salon. Can't pay $10 for a haircut. What if someone nicks him? Hope >> murder that hairdresser >> on the street.
>> She made the first move, everyone. She's a cheater.
>> That's what I took from the scene.
>> One true love.
>> Cheater.
>> Cheater. Cheater.
>> Look how happy.
>> I was super invested in Samson.
>> Yeah, >> he had a solid three lines.
>> He's doing the work.
>> The audience did not want me to root for these two.
>> Oh. Oh, this is such a good bit.
>> We can do this. It's okay. I want to.
>> No, I can't get too excited.
>> Not even a little excited.
>> Okay.
>> That's why there's no in Marvel movies.
>> Has anyone found out about her family?
>> Not allowed. Hulle cow.
>> This is where I think the shot is.
>> That looks fake.
>> Yeah. No, that's CGI. It's mapped over him.
Tim Roth was like, "Look, I like my I ain't getting cut for this shit."
>> I'm I'm a 45-year-old man. Yeah, >> it definitely looks fake.
>> Yeah, those are crazy altered striations. Like what what is the choice for the shoulders to like draw it on?
>> I'd settle for fake.
>> Well, my lip gloss. Can they track that?
>> No, you can take your lip gloss. Well, you can you can take your glasses and your watch. Okay.
>> So, use some common sense, Betty. All right. Think of like electronics if I had a composite. Just think like a movie.
>> Can't use any of this. We can use most of it.
>> What are you saying there, Ed Norton?
>> Well, we could sell this.
>> No, that's the only thing you have left from her. No, >> we'll have to try and get it back.
>> They should give like hardcore exposition as to who her is.
>> Her mother and all that history.
>> I don't My mind doesn't work that way, Coy.
>> Nope. You need details.
>> I need it all >> spelled out.
>> They're not going to just pop up. You made it five and got across borders without making any mistakes.

There they are.
Evil ass Cerebro spying on our [ __ ] Samuel Stern, the leader confirmed.
Man, I forgot about the like enormous buildup to Shield >> first movie and then like the the we get the logo in the second one.
>> Who will Shield be?
>> Hey, >> to be fair, man, they had a show Agents of Shield and it lasted like 10 years.
>> Yeah, it was huge.
>> It was a huge show.
And somewhere down the line MC was like, "But no one cares.
>> Strike it."
>> Just 10 years of a loyal fan base. Nah.
>> Way out does not canon. Those moments that were canon now no longer canon.
>> Not canon.
>> It's a lot like that.
>> Uh green glasses.
>> Do you remember anything?
>> Just fragments, images.
>> But then it's still you inside it.
>> No, it's not. I don't want to control it. I want to get rid of it.
>> The split shadow shot conflict. I want to get rid of it.
>> Hulk banner.
>> You ready?
>> Yes. That's real. Oh yeah, that's so real.
>> Oh god. Oh, that looks that >> he did not get the same effects as Steve Rogers.
>> Does that look good?
>> Cuz I think Steve Rogers was actually a body double and they put his face on another skinny person. They should have done a jacked person with Roth's face on it.
>> Yeah, he just got like skinny with they just painted over Tim Roth's body.
>> I mean, they would really suspect that truck though.
>> Yep. All right.
They'd have a few car movements until they caught on.
>> X Ben.
>> Yeah, it >> was a long way up town. I think the subway is probably quickest.
>> Me in a metal tube deep underground with hundreds of people in the most aggressive city in the world.
>> Trailer line.
>> It's a walk in New York.

>> Baby, you don't like a good ride?
>> You know, I know a few techniques, but >> love that city.
That was well earned humor. Yeah, that we you haven't had much.
>> It's Mr. Blue, isn't it?
>> Mr. Green, >> I've got to tell you, I I I've been wondering if you were even real. Nothing could have surprised me more than this unassuming man shaking my hand if we get the dosage exactly right. Is that going to be a lasting cure or just some antidote to suppress that specific flare up?
>> I don't know.
>> Like they don't set him up to be the leader, >> you know? like it's a introduction to the guy behind him >> and he's so unsocialized which is really well sold and the science I believe him with these this language if >> we induce me and it fails this will be very dangerous for you >> I've always been more curious than cautious so are we going to do this >> oh until now >> I really hate that they changed the Captain America 4 leader design to the one they did cuz the previs I saw was awesome >> you mean the one that actually looked like the leader >> looked just like the leader that they made and he's becoming some sort of abomination.
>> Yeah, they didn't like do a chest build.
>> They should have face swapped. It looks so good in Captain America.
>> It's like only thing that that the gamma ray did for him or the super soul serum did was give him abs.
>> Yeah. Shoulder strations and abs get bigger. Didn't define your arms.
Nope. Superhero abs.
Oh, green science.
>> These will protect you from yourself if you have a strong reaction.
>> You can tell me later if you thought it was strong.
>> Oh, come on. Graduate students.
>> Graduate students.
>> The dialysis machine will mix the antidote with your blood.
>> Oh my god.
>> Ew.
Yeah.
>> Stuck in between, man. O.
>> Wait.
>> Now. Do it.
>> All right. He's in awe.
>> Everyone's jealousy of it.
>> Do it now.
>> Look in my eyes.
You've got to be kidding.
>> She's a really good Betty Ross.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, I like that it's purple.
She understood the assignment of this movie.
>> Yeah, >> that effect was great. Like even 18 years later, that effect was the the D transformation. Super impressive.
>> Feels reminiscent of the Senator Kelly effects.
>> That's a really good point.
>> Even like the veins.
>> Yeah, this look right here. He's about to spruce.
>> You did it.
>> He's fine. So fantastic.
>> There's going to be no more sequels.
This is why Ed Norton's only in one of these.
>> It's the thing with a finale like this though is uh I'm watching it and I'm like we know this ain't going to last.
>> A lot of scenes in the trailer.
>> Hey, you know what? Stop. Please. We need to go back and talk about what just happened in there.
>> Absolutely. Okay. The cells absorb the energy temporarily and then it abates.
I'm inclined to think the latter, but it's hard to know because none of our test subjects ever survived.
>> What test subjects?
>> Yeah, that's important information.
>> Yeah. And now the villain comes out.
>> And we still don't know which is more toxic, the gamma or your blood.
>> What do you mean my blood?
>> With a little more trial and error, there's no end to what we can do.
>> That's so dangerous.
>> Yeah. Everything he's been afraid of the whole time.
>> This gamma technology has limitless applications. We will make humans impervious to disease.
>> I don't remember this.
>> Yeah, that one little drop turning into a full-on lab is his worst nightmare. I don't remember that being part of the leader's plan.
No, no. We've got to destroy it.
>> Wait, what?
>> Well, he wants to help.
>> Yeah.
>> Society >> incinerator. Is this the whole supply?
>> What?
>> We could go.
>> But the betrayal I mean like this is the >> Yeah, the hubing. Yeah.
>> No shot.
>> I must keep going in.
>> I want to want to abominate stuff.
>> Let me hurt somebody.
>> My daughter's in there.
>> Hold on.
>> I know parkour now.
>> Part of the gamma. We don't want.
>> That was actually a really good transition shot.
>> That was actually really solid.
>> And if we let it go, we will never get it back.
>> I like these intercutting choices.
>> Paranoid, don't you think?
>> Right on the money.
>> Damn.
>> This movie could have used more Tim Roth, >> man. Always more Tim Roth.
>> Take this.
>> He'll be funny in She-Hulk, though.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Him and Daredevil. put you in a hole for the rest of your life.
>> I love how they treat it.
>> I will never forgive what you've done to him to cover your failures and to protect your career.
>> Don't ever speak to me as your daughter again.
>> It's only because you're my daughter that you're not in handcuffs, too.
>> There's like no sense of accountability from him at all. But to get to that level, like the sociopathy of that lifestyle >> goal is to do it better.
>> So Banner's the only >> Did he do to her? What'd he hit her? Why are you always hitting people?
>> Now, what could I have done to deserve such aggression?
>> It's not what you've done. It's what you're going to do. I want what you got out of Ben. I want that.
>> I want I want it. I want it.
>> You've got a little something in you already. Don't you I want more.
>> I like how it's like a junky appearance, but his actions are also in that direction.
>> And it's beautiful. Wow.
Need that. Give me that.
>> That addiction, that yearning.
>> I don't know what you've got inside you already. The mixture could be an abomination.
>> Yeah, >> I didn't say I was on my need informed consent and you've given it.
>> Also, good wire work. That was an impressive Doesn't look like a stunt or that effect, but it definitely was.
Oh, Ross sees all that going on. Would you take the super soldier serum? I super soldier.
>> Yeah, I take the super soldier serum. I do good with it. And if I did bad, I get my way out of it.
>> That's the power.
>> That's the power of the super soldier serum.
>> I'd hope for no spine needles, but you know, I feel like the whole tank is full of needles.
>> I think abomination design's so disturbing. Bones out of his Achilles and [ __ ] That's so disgusting.
>> Oh, foreshadowing. setting them up right in the noggin. It's not even foreshadowing. They're just doing it.
Thank god his character would like it.
Cloverfield.
>> Yeah, this is a great use of handheld.
>> I need to rewatch Cloverfield. I love that movie.
>> Come on. Move, move, move.
>> Introduce him with Obscurity, too.
>> Yeah, you got to build to him. But he was the opposite. We saw the transformation. Now obscurity.
>> What is that shooting? It's a goddamn abomination.
Cool.
>> There are like Universal Pictures Hallmarks to the way this is done.
>> You're re You pointed out earlier.
That's a really good point.
>> You feel the studio set stuff in a way that compliments the movie >> and the theme park element is really working.
>> The Hulk is in the street.
>> You get a hold of yourself, young man.
You get it together. What is your position?
>> Street heading north on Broadway.
>> Turn us around. Why Thunderbolt Ross didn't call an Iron Man?
>> He was busy until the postredit scene.
>> Give me eyes down there. Yes, sir.
>> What the hell was that?
>> You know, I wasn't familiar with Abomination at all when I first saw this. So, when he said he'd be an abomination, >> you didn't realize it was a cool naming.
>> Yeah. I didn't look at it as a naming, but now that I look at as a naming, I'm like, so cheesy.
>> I like it.
>> But back then, I'm like, oh, I only think it's cheesy because I'm aware that's a name.
Was that It is the iconic actor with the cool slash on his face that passed away a few years ago.
>> From the wire. Yeah. Like doesn't even speak.
>> Wonder if this is his like early work.
>> One of yours.
>> Oh my god.
>> Dad, you suck.
>> And the first time he looks regretful.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh no.
>> Oh my god. He's murdering human beings in the street.
>> That was crazy. What a shot.
>> I remember loving this fight on the big screen. Yeah, it was everything.
>> I don't think I've seen this since I saw it in the theaters that I think about it.
>> I think I've only seen it once since, maybe twice, but it's been years.
>> Awesome.
>> Great reveal shot. I love that he's got like a skull in the center of all that.
>> Oh, he looks like skeletal.
>> And that's some foreshadowing with those bad effects. They could have done it different, though.
>> Looks great. The practical effects really help.
>> Amazing sequence. This whole sequence is amazing.
>> This Jurassic Park buildup. Oh, look at him move.
Yeah, the T-Rex chasing the Humvey instead of a Jeep. Yeah, give >> me a real fight.
>> They've been teasing Emil Blonsky like building up to this the whole time. A lot of movies nowadays are like and then towards the finale he just went crazy cuz he needed a villain.
>> But they gave him an addiction. They powered through from the first scene.
>> Yeah. It doesn't just feel out of left field.
>> It has to be me. You have to take me back there.
>> You think you can control? And what if you can't?
>> We made this thing.
>> Especially you, Betty.
>> Land us near it.
>> No, no, no. Keep us high. Open the back door.
>> Right out of the comic books. This moment is like pure whole comic.
>> Stop. Stop. What are you doing?
>> This is the start of our heroes jumping out of planes. Yeah.
>> You don't have to do this, please. This is insane.
>> Betty, I've got to try. I'm sorry, >> man. My shot.
Smash to black. The end.
>> That would have been a cool teaser trailer shot.
>> Yeah. Or poster.
Hulk.
>> Yes. That guy in the TV named you that.
>> I remember.
>> I remember. I watch all news programming.
>> I'm an abomination to your home.
Yeah, >> I saw this in my dad and I remember this being like a fight through both like, "Oh my god, it's happening. They can make movies like this."
Ooh.
Even like having Abomination more cognitively functional.
This is so cool. uses police cars cuz we have to make boxing gloves. It's so awesome. It's awesome. This is [ __ ] great.
It's so cool.
Yeah.
And the sound design.
Oh. Yeah. Look how this fight looks amazing.
>> Is that all you've got?
>> The speed holds up so well. I love these like tracking shots. It still feels like they're not everything looks digital, you know? They're they're mixing location. to put in. Yeah, it's like Jurassic Park. Like they actually layered >> green one. Damn it. Which one do you think? CUT THE OTHER ONE IN HALF.
>> The green one.
>> I would not be that close.
>> Nope.
>> Wow. It really sucks to live here in New York.
>> Always. Insurance is crazy. Property damage.
Nice.
>> Ow. Ow. You can feel it.
>> That was a good shot. That's sound design.
>> We all know it's like that bones.
>> Yep. I do identify as someone with bones.
>> Damn. And the visual effects hold up so well.
>> 18 years. It's almost a 20-year-old movie. They really p cuz they gave it time, man. And like this these visual effects artists had time.
>> They also knew it had to work because the last movie wasn't that well received.
>> Yeah, they poured everything into it.
>> Everyone died but Betty.
>> She's too pretty to die.
>> Too pretty.
>> She has a little scratch on her cheek though. It won't scar.
>> These men dead >> and her dad live bones.
>> Everyone else dead.
>> The Ross is very strong. All right, let's find a way out.
>> Cool.
>> And they still maintain performance like stuff like this, like that expression, you know, they maintain >> acting still.
>> Yeah.
>> That's what makes the fight work.
>> Oh yeah, cuz you're so invested in abomination as Blondonsky and Banner as Norton.
>> And but they don't like drop it for the sake of just CGI fighting.
>> Yeah. Like this is emotion. Like that's a cutaway to emotion.
Yeah, I just love the speed emotion. The sound design is also fantastic.
Woo!
Forgot all about that.
>> What a cool shot. Oh man, I said like 20 times in this reaction.
>> Got chills.
>> Yeah, that was a moment.
>> Got goosebumps everywhere. Still gives me goosebumps. That's right.
>> Hands.
>> If I wanted it, you'd be dead already.
O general, >> I hate you now, General.
>> I mean, he did try to kill him. He's been shooting at him with an air gun.
>> Smash.
>> Love how they saved it >> for a moment. A true moment. Say any last words. And those are the Hulk's first words.
>> Yeah. And worthy.
Nice.
Clever.
The ferocity. Yeah, man. Like, it's so hard to sell inter cutting between humans and all this. And it's so believable still.
Well, now they got their weapon.
You're going to train with the Artemis.
We'll see you in 16 years >> for a random cameo. Shi.
>> Oh, that's funny. Earlier he said he's gonna have his throat on his neck and now >> put that one gun down and everyone will fall.
>> It's like the Michael Jackson video.
The one-two punch of this in Iron Man felt so special. And and I'm so glad this holds up.
>> Tired Hulk.
This is my life. Always running.
>> Spider-Manesque chase through city ending.
Man, they made Hulk pretty cool in this though.
>> I do think it's missing a more a stronger character arc for him though.
>> It's definitely like Yeah, there's something missing and that there's some pacing stuff. There are absolutely elements that are not quite there, but I don't think it's bad.
>> I don't think it's bad at all. I like it quite a lot. It's the the thing with Banner though is it's like it seems like they're going towards an acceptance arc of this.
>> That's what the second one's going to be. what it technically is, >> you know, like how it ends. It just doesn't quite land as strong as that arc of acceptance.
>> Getting into the like kind of psychedelic crazy mind palacy stuff in the second one would have been really cool.
>> It's for like a solid adventure.
>> Yeah, for like a Jason Bourne era.
>> Pretty good work. It's pretty good work.
And every action scene really sings.
>> David Banner from the show >> cuz they wanted to be Bruce Wayne like, right? I think that's why they changed it. They I think they they thought the alliteration wasn't it was too too on the nose.
>> Oh, I thought they >> It could have also been It could have been that. I could be wrong, >> but they didn't want to compare it to Bruce Wayne.
>> A love that. Yeah, that sounds apt.
>> Yeah, this is him like accepting and controlling it. Like I get it. If anything is Ross who has the biggest heart. I failed.
>> Channeling with a smile.
>> Reload.
>> Green drink. What is that? like a Mai or a Madori sour. I mean, >> reload.
>> This is one of the rare moments where I do feel like it was okay to move the postredit scene to this moment.
>> Yeah. I mean, I liked the ending though, but like you want people to make sure they see this. This feels like an ending to a movie still.
>> You know, I hate to say I told you so, General, but that super soldier program was put on ice for a reason.
>> Ah, well, I've always felt that hardware was much more reliable.
>> Stark, you always wear such nice suits.
>> Touche. What if I told you we were putting a team together?
>> And by the time you see that >> was we >> the next time you see me, I'm not going to want to be part of that team.
>> But at the time, I was partying to put it together.
I mean, this was a few months later.
That was such a cool post credit that blew my mind. I was just like, "Oh my god, it's happening."
>> It was awesome. But it is just funny in Iron Man, too. He's like, >> I'm not going to be part of that.
>> I don't want it. And then even in Avengers, he's like, "I don't want it.
>> This isn't for me." Is there a post?
>> I don't think so. I think that's the only postredit scene which is the ending of the movie. But it still feels like an ending to That's what I mean. It's like sometimes they slap a postredit scene on like that's definitely a postredit scene which is definitely a postredit scene, but it still fits as an ending to >> it. Also was so early in the run that like it wasn't as traditional cuz there had only been one movie at the time.
>> And I think it also helps because Thunderbolt Ross is really like defeated and feeling like a failure in this moment. So it's a quote. It's an ending to his character, that moment of of this specific journey. So, it still works. I think it's a really good movie. I really I really like it a lot. I do. I really like that movie.
>> I'm a defender. I'm I'm an incredible Hulk defender. I think Ed Norton's second one would have been really something special. Um I think that is one of the the whatifs of my mulling things over. I think that Mark Ruffalo is an absolutely incredible Avengers Hulk and I think the team dynamics he works great. But I I really like this film.
>> But I do see how this after the high of something like Iron Man where you got something a little bit more straightforward here. like it's still well executed, still really good. The scenes where it's not action are all like fine and fine to like really solid, but Iron Man maintains a consistent high entertainment throughout the entire film, whereas this is like >> there are moments where it dips and I I think the pacing is one of its weaknesses, but I also think that uh that's kind of the strength of Marvel is this in any given universe would be like, wow. And then Marvel's just so good that I consider this like this is high lower third, but that's how good the rest is that this I I don't think this is bad by any means, but there's so much to come.
>> Absolutely. That's it for today, guys.
Keep a look out as we venture on into is Iron Man 2 or Thor next. Iron Man 2, I think.
>> Iron Man 2 then Thor.
>> Iron Man 2. Wow.
