This video brilliantly demystifies the thermodynamic limits of silicon by turning complex semiconductor physics into intuitive visual logic. It is an essential bridge between abstract quantum leakage and the practical reality of hardware performance.

All GPUs Are LeakingAdded:
All graphics cards are leaking. These balls represent electrical energy and the rivets represent the transistors, the microscopic switches inside the core. When they switch, some energy always becomes heat. And when certain switches are meant to be off, some current can sneak through. That's wasted energy that then becomes heat, otherwise known as electron leakage. When you cool the core down and the leakage drops, less energy is wasted as heat and more of it can do useful work. That's why colder GPUs can clock higher. Less leakage is more current where it belongs.
