[00:00:00]I am going to be onevoning RTS legend Grubby. Six months ago, middle of last year, I got super into the game, Age Empires 2. And because of that, I was able to meet the best player in the game, Hera. He did some coaching with me. We did some content and I really grinded the ladder and I got 1,500 in line, which is top 5,000 players, which is really good. It's very hard to do.

[00:00:21]And Hera made a video called How a Famous Streamer, very complimentary, got 1,500 ELO in two months. And then Grubby comes along this year and then he gets 1,500 in half the time. And then after that keeps skyrocketing to 1,600. Look, this is this is my gap. I got to 1500. I stopped for 6 months. I free fell. I have crawled back to 1510, which is my new peak.

[00:00:50]Cuz I know I'm not the favorite in this match, but at the very least, I'm in the best shape I've been for Age of Empires.

[00:00:56]What this match is really for is who is going to be captain in our 2v1 against Hera, which I I feel like we shouldn't be able to lose, but Hera's really good.

I don't I cannot imagine we lose. I know that sounds arrogant, but like Grubby is a very good player and I'm solid and two people with double the villagers. There's no It doesn't make sense. I don't think you can win that game.

So, Grubby is a former Warcraft 3 professional player, former Starcraft 2 professional player and high-rated player, and HR Rock is a politics streamer on Twitch. Uh, I've watched a lot of HR replays, and so far he's honestly having a pretty good start.

I'd have to remind him, eight on wood, eight on wood, eight on wood, and he'd always mess it up. And now, come game day, what do you know? He's messed it up. This is what Grubby sees right now. He's scouting a little bit of Atriox map and he's got the mana arms.

So, they pass by each other. Are you kidding? It's coming in nice and early. I got to say, Grubby is punching first, guys. Oh, [ __ ] And Aatro hits the only quick wall I've ever seen him hit. Holy. Grubby also with some smart walls. And he's picking off a vill from Aro. Atro, do you do you hit this quick wall? No. First blood, guys.

[00:05:03]Now, Grubby can afford his range because he has more than eight on wood. Hrock cannot afford the range, and he probably doesn't know why. And he's playing without a range right now. Oh, and Grubby sneaks past when Atro wasn't ready. Oh, it's a disaster. He's running his vills. He's got to fight with the vills. No, he's chasing the scouts. Oh, he's falling apart. Oh, he's nervous. Oh [ __ ] he's falling apart. Graby's all over him.

I've watched a lot of HR games and I've seen some bad stuff.

[00:06:06]Oh. Oh, I missed this. Atro has sniped the Grubbyville with a scout. how cheeky he has forced Grubby into skirmishers, which is not really what Grubby wants to be playing right now. Despite Ho having a pretty bad start, I think he's doing a great job of getting back into, you know, exactly what he wants to do, which is go skims and force Grubby out of crossbows. He's putting some pressure here. Gruby's ignoring this. Gruby's choosing to ignore this actively, but Grubby taking a taking a lot of damage.

[00:06:36]To be honest with you, I liked Gruby's position a minute ago a lot more than I like it right now. I feel like he's kind of panicking to this. But this army does not pose that much of a threat, but he does lose another vill. That one was low HP. It's two vills down. Atriox has now killed more villagers from Grubby. Then Grubby has killed from Atriox, but the counterattack is here. Grubby should land the vill. No, it's 2 HP. It's living though for now. Three vills down.
