[00:00:05]Hi coupon fam, this is Jima. Welcome back or welcome if you're new. What I'm bringing you guys today are some run deals at your local Dollar General and I also have a surprise penny item for you.

[00:00:17]Now before I get started on this video here, I do want to mention that I have uploaded quite a few videos this week.

I also want to mention that there are going to be some changes today at your local Dollar General. Instead of early activation starting at 7:00 p.m. your time, it is going to start at 12:00 p.m.

[00:00:42]So yes, it's going to start at noon.

[00:00:44]What does that have in store for us? I am not sure. I hope it works just like an early activation after 7:00. You know, we get the best price at that time, but the new sale ad is going to kick in at that time. So I want to bring that to your attention. Again, let me know how it's working for you all out there in the comment section once it kicks in. Was it a go or was it a no?

[00:01:07]But I did want to bring that up. I'm looking at it as just early activation starting 7 hours earlier, now at noon instead of at 7:00. And if that's the case, hopefully it runs just as smooth as the early activations usually do. So I wanted to bring that to your attention. Now these here are some run deals that I see in my eyes. Again, once you're done viewing this video all the way to the end, it's totally up to you if you want to run, walk, or not even go at all, but you cannot say that I did not share these awesome deals with you.

[00:01:38]I also want to mention that we have this one surprise penny item. It's not at your local Dollar General, but if you have this store when you're heading to DG, you may want to stop in and look for this item. Okay, so let's go on ahead and get started with these run deals.

[00:01:56]Okay, now today only, Saturday, June the 6th, we've got the Doritos, $1.95 each, but you must purchase four to get the sale price. So, you would need to buy these in increments of four to get $1.95 per bag. Also, today only, Saturday, June the 6th, the Mars chocolate. Now, these are four for $4 when they retail at $1.50 to $1.60. And size packs.

[00:02:31]So, that's a pretty good deal there.

[00:02:33]It's been a while that we can grab those four for $4. Now, we're going to be looking at this for our first deal, but I am bringing some others as well.

[00:02:44]Okay, for this first deal, we are going to be grabbing 12 Doritos. Now, I had to X out the price cuz I did do these slides last night. They're $1.95 when you buy four, and we are going to pick up 12. Yes, you can grab different flavors, but for scenario purposes, I am picking up 12 of the nacho cheese.

[00:03:08]We're also going to be picking up the Lipton peach iced tea 64 fluid oz bottle at $2.50.

[00:03:18]And last, but certainly not least, we're going to grab four of the Snickers fun size chocolate candy bars. Yes, you can mix and match as well. These are on sale today only four for $4.

[00:03:33]We're going to enter our number into the digital keypad and our five off of 25 will apply.

[00:03:41]And our $4 because we purchased the Pepsi product of Lipton tea and the Frito Lay, which is the Doritos. So, here is your breakdown for this deal here. Your subtotal is $29.90, but once you enter your number into the digital keypad, we are going to be utilizing the store DQ of $4.

[00:04:04]Our new subtotal will be $25.90, which means we hit that $25 threshold, so our five off of 25 will apply, making this an out of pocket of $20.90, 17 items, $1.22 per item. Here we thought $1.95 was great on those Doritos, but we can get them even lower if we go out and do this deal at $1.22 each. One heck of a Saturday scenario.

[00:04:36]We are stocking up on some Doritos and some candy. Okay, now this next one here, we would be picking up four at $1.95 each.

[00:04:51]One Lipton tea at $2.50.

[00:04:58]>> [snorts] >> And the subtotal for this one here would be $10.30.

[00:05:02]We're going to utilize our $4 store digital coupon for the Pepsi and Frito-Lay products, and our out of pocket would be $6.30.

[00:05:12]That's five items, $1.26 per item. So, if you don't want to go out there and try to hit a $25 threshold, $40 threshold, you just want to get your Doritos and that Lipton tea, again, a quick deal, just in, out, and on your way, this is going to be the deal that you want to go out and do, $1.26 per item.

[00:05:36]Okay, now this deal here is a great one as well that if you're at Dollar General, you may want to do this one.

[00:05:43]Chips Ahoy, we're going going on ahead and pick up five. Now, these retail at $4. We're going to pick up five.

[00:05:52]They are on sale two for $7. Yes, I'm getting an odd number, so that fifth package will be in the price of $4. If you wanted to get one extra one, that would be perfectly fine. All you would need to do is adjust your out-of-pocket accordingly or your final price. Okay, for this deal here, I'm only going to grab five.

[00:06:16]We're going to enter our number into the digital keypad, and if we have a three off of 15, this will apply.

[00:06:24]And our Nabisco save three when you spend nine. So, your subtotal is $18, your store DQ of $3, that gives you a new subtotal of 15, allowing your three off of 15 to apply, making your out-of-pocket at the register $12.

[00:06:42]But, we're not done because you are going to have your Ibotta linked to your DG account, and you're going to have this clipped right here.

[00:06:50]Which means your out-of-pocket would be $12 at the register, but we're going to be getting $5 back from Ibotta, $1 per pack, and your final price would be $7.
