El Niño is a climate phenomenon characterized by unusually warm ocean temperatures in the Eastern Pacific, which can significantly alter global weather patterns. The current El Niño is developing and is projected to be the strongest in recorded history, potentially bringing wetter and stormier conditions to affected regions. Understanding these climate patterns helps meteorologists provide accurate weather forecasts and prepare communities for potential severe weather events.

>> Hey, Mark.
>> Hey, how you doing, Dave?
>> It's been a crazy day. Um, >> it is.
>> Yeah, I don't see many people chatting, but I see several on. Uh yeah, there's Eric Break who says, "Good afternoon, David Mark." And Kroger John Bryant's on with us. So I'm glad to see that. Um anyway, >> yeah, Debbie Napier. I don't see I don't see her. Oh, okay.
>> It's right above Eric Bra.
>> Huh? I don't see it, but I see we're on Facebook, too. Okay, good. So, we're Okay, everybody. Everybody's on. It's supposed to be. Um, >> yeah. Hi, Evan Miller, Sandy Christian, >> and Mike and Erica Bayham. Hello, Thunder Buddies. Hello, David. Mark, hello Mark. Hope you's been doing well.
And uh, well, >> better than we deserve.
>> I suppose that's true. There's Jennifer Glover on with us. Says, "Hello, David.
Mark and uh, let's see who all else."
Uh, good grief. Michael Willlet says, "Hello, my friends. Coming to us from Facebook." So, we're on all the mediums like we're supposed to be. Lots of lots of wild things going on. Mark, the weather is pretty crazy and uh really concerned about the possible change to the entire global pattern. Um, you and I have been looking at that. We haven't quite gotten uh >> details on what we think is going to happen yet, but we do have some hints.
Uh one of those being that um it looks like we're going to get wetter and stormier. So, that's not really uh unexpected.
Um there's Ginger Measure on with us.
Says hello friends. Um, but anyway, uh, this also looking like a cool summer, but uh, stormier. So, >> I guess when you have storms, you have cooler temperatures overall. How cool? I don't know. This is This is from an a nino that looks like it's going to be the strongest in recorded history.
And it's just now really developing. We haven't got all the data in on it yet.
They're still analyzing everything that's coming in. Everybody says, "Yeah, it's a big one, but nobody wants to venture a guess as to what exact effect it's going to have on our climate." They do say it will affect the worldwide climate, uh, the weather patterns. Um, and it's going to continue to grow and get stronger all the way up into October.
Uh, in fact, that's when it may reach its full strength. So, uh, it looks like that will be strong even on into, uh, the winter months. So, >> Mhm.
>> it could get really crazy, you know, and I don't know if they can tell us exactly what's going to happen because it's never been this strong before. If if it's the strongest recorded history, that means they don't have anything to measure it by.
>> Yeah. The last time it was even close to this strong was 1870.
>> That's right. So, this is going to be kind of crazy. So, we'll see what happens. Um, I don't know. I'm just watching it wearily and I'm going to keep studying it and hopefully we'll have an idea here soon uh about it. So, why don't you give us a quick rundown on the weather uh that we can expect in the short term.
>> Yeah, I was going to say that's in the long term. In the short term, it's been really nice today. Again, we got up into the middle to upper 70s in most areas.
We'll get down into the upper 40s tonight. Cool, but not too bad. Thursday we'll about mid70s again. We got a little bit of a dry cold front going through right now. Uh Thursday night down in the around 50. Friday we are back up around 80 and low 80s, mostly sunny. Friday night we'll drop into the mid60s and we start picking up a 40% chance of storms late Friday night into early Saturday morning. Uh and uh that will be our next chance of any kind of precipitation.
uh maybe about a 30% chance of uh showers or thunder showers on Saturday afternoon after 1 pm and then uh we start to warm up a lot starting early in the week. We're up in the low 90s forecast for Monday and for uh Tuesday.
But again, we start seeing a chance of storms come in then and that's uh those warm temperatures are ahead of the next big cold front and big system coming in.
That's when we could see some rain and some severe weather.
>> Yeah, that's that's one I'm watching really close because with the warm temperature, that's something we haven't had in the last couple of severe events.
Now we've got warm temperatures, we got cold air coming, >> a big contrast in the temperature differences, I would not be surprised to see that turn out to be a pretty big severe event, but we'll see. It's still early to say.
>> Um, >> Michael Will be going up through that time period, too. So >> yeah, Michael Willlet is asking what happened in 1870. If you want to repeat what you said.
>> Well, 1870 was the last really really strong El Nino that was uh they think was anywhere near as strong as what this one is going to be. Uh and they don't, you know, the weather records back then were kind of sparse. So they know there was an El Nino, but the exact effects of it, uh they haven't really said much about. Yeah, they're keeping unusually quiet. At least uh the chatter in in general is is unusually quiet about this. And that's because they're waiting to see exactly how this is going to uh play out. This is going to develop more into the Eastern Pacific. I'm sorry, Western Pacific.
All right, hold on a minute. Eastern Pacific. Now I got it right. Near the coast of South Africa or South America.
So, uh, that would make it I think that's what they call a Modokai.
>> No, middle. That's right. So, I don't know exactly what that's going to mean for us, but we'll have to watch this and see. It's uh it could be significant and we'll see. Um, you know, we will definitely hear more about this as time goes on. You're going to hear more and more chatter about it among all the different meteorologists and weather entities out there. U, we're going to watch it closely. We will give you all we know whenever we we get to it. Uh I'm I'm studying it every day. I'm checking the the stuff. I have a reliable place I go to to look for this and u we'll see what happens. Um anyway, so it is a nice day out there.
We've been enjoying the nice weather.
It's been fairly pleasant. Uh even now it's 79 degrees down in Stewart County.
Look at across the uh woodlands of uh I believe that's uh I believe that's Kentucky Lake um that we're seeing off in the distance there. Um this is from a forest fire lookout tower and uh I can see why they'd have it there, but uh it's low here. That's probably going to be looks like that might be Barkley Lake we were looking at. So, here's where we'll see Kentucky Lake in this area. This would be Stewart. This would be uh uh Do, Tennessee. And there's Kentucky Lake right there as you can see. And uh boy, it's really green, but it looks a little dry down there on the forest floor. Uh we only have to hope that there's no wildfires that break out for this. Um April Lily says, "Good afternoon, David Mark. Happy midweek everyone. Chris Mitchum. I'm ready for a few days of big range to stand out in. And Mike Kinsley says, "Hi, David Mark. Welcome to everyone that's on the channel here with us. We do uh appreciate you being here and um we're going to try to give you the best. I don't know if that temperature gauge is right there. That's a little high. I believe that's >> Yeah, that was a little >> direct sun. Sometimes that'll happen."
>> Yeah. I'll go down here. This other one here. This is uh well 82. This is a another one in do and uh >> it's possible the temperature all the way in far west Kentucky at the Mississippi River is 80. So >> Okay. Well, it's possible then. Well, it says 82. I guess that's not too bad. Um but um >> you're wondering what's significant happened in 1870. That's when the National Weather Service was founded.
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah. February 9th, 1870. The first official uh weather reports were recorded in 1870 with just 24 stations in the US.
>> Uh the weather highlights were January 17th of 1870, a devastating tornado struck Baron County, Kentucky.
>> Oh wow.
>> 50 homes and causing eight deaths.
>> It'd be up in Glasgow.
Mhm. Then spring summer, the US Midwest experienced one of the hottest and driest maze on record.
>> Well, that's interesting.
>> Yeah, >> but this one being a little bit different pro maybe even a different area of the Pacific and being stronger than this one, the exact uh events of it may not be exactly the same.
So, uh, again, take it with a grain of salt when you start looking at records and saying, "Oh, that happened this day, so we may see." No, that's not the way weather works.
>> No. Um, you think it's hot now? Wait till then.
Here's 95 degrees over in Amarillo, Texas. Actually, Vega, Texas, but just outside of Amarillo. And you can see it is hot.
I am not looking forward to that. Makes me want to just I want to just I want to just >> I don't know what I want to do.
Something >> something. Yeah.
>> Here's Abalene. It's 90 degrees. Look how dry and dusty that is.
>> That's that's where we get the dust in our rain. Whenever the winds kick up out here and look how dry it's getting. Um >> yeah, >> won't be long. This will be all brown.
>> Okay. Go to the city of Dennis.
>> Dennison.
>> Yeah. if it'll show. There it is. It's uh due north of uh Dallas uh right along the uh Oklahoma Texas border.
If it'll show up.
>> Uh no camera.
>> A while for it to show up.
>> Oh, okay.
>> That looks a little better, doesn't it?
>> What lake is that?
That is uh Hang on a second. Let me zoom in on it and get you the lake name.
That's a new camera. I haven't seen this before.
>> Yeah, that is uh Come on.
>> Lake Teacoma.
Yeah, Lake Toma. It's part of the Red River man-made lake.
>> Boy, that's a big lake though.
>> It is. But I saw that. I said, "Boy, doesn't that look nice compared to all the hot temperatures they're talking about?"
>> Yeah. I haven't seen I haven't seen that camera. It's first first time seeing >> it's pointed at a different location.
Normally, it's pointed off to the left of there where there's a dock and stuff over on the corner and it just And you're right up near the uh the uh drainage areas near the dam.
Well, it's certainly a beautiful place.
I wouldn't mind.
>> It is >> sitting there on the bank of that looking at the waters and >> probably getting cool breeze off of lake too or cooler.
>> Well, at least the humidity humidity some degrees there.
>> Yeah, but the mid is only 35% so it's probably doing pretty good.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, that's interesting.
Uh I know where else I want to go look.
Let's go to uh up near Seattle. Look at >> Yeah, we haven't been up there for a little bit.
>> That is Oh, look at that.
>> That looks nice.
>> Little rough clouds. It looks like a turbulent sky, but look at the winds blowing.
>> Yeah, >> it is windy.
>> What's the temperature?
>> Uh 56 degrees.
>> That's a little cool.
>> Yes, it is. That >> kind of breeze, >> don't you know it.
Uh well that's really right in into right in Seattle almost.
>> Yep.
>> Um sure wish we had the u uh >> Shasta camera.
>> Yeah. Mount Shasta camera back.
>> I've never seen a sign of it again.
>> Never seen a sign of it again.
>> Yeah. Bigfoot got it.
>> It must have. Mount Shast is known for its paranormal activity.
>> Yep.
And then here we see all kinds of red flag warnings. There's some severe thunderstorm warnings up here. Uh let's see.
>> That yellow area is a severe thunderstorm watch.
>> Yep. Around Salt Lake City.
But anyway, overall it's not a bad looking pictures. Um, but here we are back in western Kentucky and u it is certainly a nice afternoon.
Oh me, sure I've been on the run to tell you the truth.
>> Yeah, it's been a hectic day.
>> It has. Boy, there's a bunch of these buttons already pushed, but that's all right.
This is exit 11 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Everything's going well. And here is Peaches Mill, the 101st. It's also moving pretty good. Exit four. Uh, I said exit four. There it is. It's looking up towards Sam's Club. It's moving along just fine. Don't see any issues. Uh, and here's looking up towards the mall.
Again, no backups.
Riverside Drive in second.
Very I don't see any backups mapped to anything at all. And it's 4:30 in the afternoon, so we're doing good. Let's look at um Peaches Mill and the 101st.
It's quiet.
Let's try Tiny Town. Woohoo. There's Tiny Town then. And there's a Big Leaf.
Big Leaf. Woo. That wind blew by me right there.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. He says, >> you know, off to the left of where you're looking right there is the new entrance to the uh to the uh museum they have there on Fort Campbell. Think they call it the the Wings of Liberty >> Museum. and they are having their grand opening uh for all the generals and stuff on Friday and then it'll be open to the public Friday afternoon and Saturday.
>> Eric Bragg says the Lakeside camera is on the YouTube. He gives the uh site for >> I just looked. It's not up there either.
It shows the camera, but it's it just shows the old still image taking night with all the cobwebs all over it. It's not up there yet either.
>> Okay. All right. So, anyway, uh he also says like and share the stream. It would be nice if you guys would would like this channel and also subscribe to it.

Let's go to Let's go to downtown Katis.
And it's still there. Looking good. Um, how about let's go to Hopkinsville. Look down at the um Hopkinsville from the Hopkinsville elevator down on Skyline Drive. Kroger Shopping Center. Don't know if John Bright's in there or not, but I saw him on earlier, but I haven't seen that he's working today. Uh oh, there he is. He says, "It's been crazy at Kroger. We're in a remodel right now.
It's 13th, but not Friday.
Oh my goodness. So, if you go in there, aggravate John Bryant back in the meat department. Tell him you saw him on the Weather and Wisdom channel.
>> Yeah, if you can find it for the remodel.
>> Oh yeah, I did know. I did notice they've been changing stuff around in there about as bad as Walmart. They they change stuff around. You You think you know the store, you go in there and nothing's where it used to be. So anyway, but I like it. I like that store. It's good place. Um, not only that, but you get to see John Bryant if you go in there.
Uh, you should go back to meat department and say, "Hey, John Bryant, we saw you on the Weather and Wisdom channel." Watch his head get real big.
Oh my goodness. Anyway, uh, let's see.
Where else do we want to go? Let's go to Niagara Falls. Oh, there's the >> Oh, that's pretty.
>> There's the boat down in the falls getting the mist.
Yep.
>> I guess that means tourist season's in full bloom.
>> Yep. Yep. You know, there's there's not just one of those boats. There are several of them. They they take turns running them up there.
>> I guess they have to train the water out of them every now and then.
>> Yeah, I would imagine.
>> Uh let's see. Here's Owensboro.
Beautiful day. A little windy.
And let's go to Yellowstone and Old Faithful. Whoa. Kind of a weird looking.
Come on. Here we go. What's going on there?
>> Got a storm over top of them or something.
>> That's what it looks like. Or an eruption has occur. A big eruption has occurred.
>> No, we don't want to talk like that.
>> No, we don't. That would not be good.
That is kind of strange though.
We don't have any camera other cameras up that way anywhere.
But yeah, that looks a little unusual.
We're changing angles.
There's the shot of O Faithful.
>> Yeah, looks like just a little >> There's No, there's there's something in the air there. Hang on a minute. There's something in the air. I saw it flying past the lens there for a second.
I don't know if that's actually old faithful or not. Looks like it might be because there's the lodge off to the right.
Let's get What's going on? Is it starting to erupt?
See that stuff going past the lens, Mark?
>> Yeah, every once in a while.
It's definitely letting off a pretty good amount of steam. I don't know if that's a full >> I don't believe it's a full eruption, but it's kind of crazy looking.
>> Winds out of southwest at 23 miles hour.
It looks like it died back down. It just came a little quick eruption and went back down.
Let's go to Gothic, Colorado.
We got clouds over it. So, must be a system coming in.
They're talking about I'm zoomed in over around Colorado uh and also the city of there. They're talking about there's some uh must be some fires going on close by.
That's possible. There is also some weather moving into the Wyoming area.
>> Yeah, strong radar, strong thunderstorm is going to impact uh Johnson counties. I think that's in Colorado.
No, Wyoming. So, that's what it is.
There's big big storms up there coming in. That's why it looked like that.
>> Yep.
>> I go in here and see if I can get the radar up.
Yeah, there's a uh severe thunderstorm about to move in there.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
So, now you know what Yellowstone looks like when the skies get angry.
>> Yeah. We may have to go back and look that again. Hang on a minute.
>> Yeah, you can see the darkness coming in there. That's definitely a storm moving in.
>> Yeah, guys are there is growing again. Looks like it's doing some erupting off and on every few minutes.
>> Yeah, not super strong, but it's coming up pretty big.
Well, anyway, I thought that was >> always interesting something on the cameras.
>> Yes, you can't win them all. Uh, let's see here. Let's go to How about we go to Myrtle Beach down in good old South Carolina?
>> Yeah, that looks nice.
>> It does. It's color. That's a colorful camera.
A little windy though.
>> Um, here's Panama City.
Yeah, a lot of people love that Myrtle Beach.
Here's Myar Beach in uh the other side of Florida.
Look like there's more people now than what has been up till recently.
>> Yeah. Well, it's starting to get into the late spring tourist season, I guess.
>> Look here.
There is What is going on there?
Those little eiglets have really grown.
Look at how big they are.
>> I know it.
>> Yep. They grow fast.
>> Huh.
This is from uh Big Bear Valley in California, isn't it, Mark?
>> Yes.
>> That's the female.
Mhm.
>> Tell by the brown colors >> on the on can't even call them chicks anymore. Keeping watch on the eaglets.
>> Yeah. It won't be long when I assume they'll be leaving the nest.
>> Yeah. Looks like they still got some feathers to grow.
>> Yeah, but they're pretty good.
>> How big that one's wing was. It just >> Oh, yeah. They're big birds now.
>> That's all right. When it's time, mama will just kick them out as they hear a fly.
>> I guess so. I guess so. Let's go. Let's see if the owls have returned.
>> And no, still an empty nest.
>> Yeah, >> birds on the feeder in Akran, Ohio.
Where are you?
Don't see anything.
All right, let's check out the wolf camera.
We're batting a thousand day. No wolf.
>> Yeah. No wolf, no owl, no bears.
>> And no buffalo.
>> No buffalo.
Eagles were there.
>> Where oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone?
>> We got on the aquarium.
Let's see.
There we go.
Um, >> here comes a shark.
>> Yep.
>> Okay.
Memphis sound effects.
I remember I went to the beach when I was younger. This is I guess it was sometime around when Jaws had come out and I really thought that I was going to get eaten by something cuz I looked down I saw this black thing moving in the water. I started heading back up towards shore and it seemed like it was following me. Man, I was getting worried and I looked down. It's my shadow.
>> Yep.
>> The water was so clear. Um, well, let's just come on back here.
There's Jackie Madison says, "Hello, everyone." Uh, Eric Bre says, "Plain states are concerned about field fires sparked by lightning." Sor says, "I'm moving to Niagara Falls. Looks quieter than here."
>> Yeah, he's having a problem with with neighbors.
>> Yeah, noisy neighbors. Oh yeah, better he lives there than me because I tell you it would not be a it would be a war zone over if I was there. I wouldn't put up with it.
Okay. Uh let's see here.
So, Mark, do we have any graphics on the uh big El Nino or Len El Nino?
>> I haven't been able to find a good one yet. I mean, I've seen a couple of graphics, but they're like, you know, they don't really show home much. It just shows that area of the ocean and says, "Oh, Super Elino." Okay. Well, that doesn't tell me anything.
>> Well, I'm gonna keep looking. We got to find something. Uh, uh, let's see. Tom Matthysse says, "Just got on. I'm hearing we may have a cool and dry summer. What's your thoughts?" I think the cool is probably correct. The dry is just the opposite. I think it'll be wetter with uh uh probably stormier conditions.
A lot of graphics I've seen shows above normal rainfall.
Okay. Score is looking for a place to live. Anybody has a nice place to rent a house, uh, get in touch with us at this channel.
Well, I hope everybody's ready for a bit of a yo-yo.
Looking at one of the weather uh weather headlines. Brewing super El Nino may self-destruct after reaching record peak, triggering rapid leninia return in 2027.
>> Oh, that's not good at all. None. None at all. Everybody hang on. We're gonna go into a a whiffsaw back and forth if we're not careful.
>> That will be a that will be not a good thing.
>> Well, Tom, thank you, brother. We're going to try to get more information on that uh leninia before it's all said and done.
And u that's El Nino, right? I done got confused. El Nino means uh >> warm current.
>> Yeah, but Lino means the child.
It's cool.
>> Yeah, but they're gender specific in Spanish. El Nino is the boy child. Linia is the girl child.
>> That's right. Okay. That's what I want to make sure I was right about.
All right. Um Yeah. The funny thing about these neighbors, a lot of people say there's no reason they should be so inconsiderate of the other neighbors, but like I said, uh they haven't run across me yet.
Anyway, uh let's look at um well, while we're here, let's go back and look at the 247 channel. I want to show y'all what we've done. Uh stock market is looking a lot better. We made some improvements over here. This is sponsored by Mudwealth and uh the radar is still in pretty good shape. Um this is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And uh you can always go on here, find weather and radar information, uh stock market stuff. And uh oh my good, we also have a there's Ma's Kitchen that's sponsoring this section, the the 7-day forecast. and um she has come back in a big way and I can't wait to show y'all some of the other stuff we're doing with them. It's going to be good. Uh I do want to talk about just a few more commercials while we're at it. If you guys don't mind, I need to finish paying the bills. Uh, I want to show you our newest Roy's Barbecue commercial. Watch this.
>> Roy's Barbecue.
>> Uh, wait a minute. That's not it. Where is the new one?
Hang on.
That was not the new commercial.
Have we gotten it put in yet?
>> Yes, it's on the 247 channel and it should have been put up here in rotation for this, but it's not there. >> Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
Welcome to Royy's Barbecue. I have a good time.
>> It's a place of song and conversation among good friends. Celebrating 40 years of family, food, and friends. Royy's Barbecue 101 Sarah Lane, Russellville, Kentucky. Really do love it. Let me u get this here fixed up and take a look. Have you ever stood in a long line at one of those big chainarmacies only to find they didn't have the medication you needed? That's one of the reasons I like to go to a locallyowned and operated pharmacy. The staff knows me there. They know my medications and they're always there to answer any questions I may have. And when I can't get out, they deliver what I need right to my doorstep. They even carry items for my fur baby. Two of the best locallyownedarmacies are Tom's Family Pharmacy on Country Club Lane in Hopkinsville, and Save More Drugs on Fort Campbell Boulevard, also in Hopkinsville. You'll find a friendly smile and great service at your locallyownedies, Save More Drugs and Tom's Family Pharmacy.
And definitely if you go in there, be sure and tell them that you saw them on the Weather and Wisdom channel and uh they'll smile at you really big and thank you for saying it. Uh, let's see here. What else? Um, oh yeah, don't forget, let's go back to Midsouth storm shelters. Watch this.
>> It's the middle of the night and tornatic storms are approaching. The nearest public shelter is miles away and they don't allow pets. You should have purchased a Midsouth storm shelter.

Financing is available.
And I do want to give one more shout out to Mark Thomasson. And uh Oh, wait a minute. There's Allegra Pace. Hi, David.
Mark, how's the nose, David?
Well, it's still here. It's a little bruised, but uh I think you can see it's a little red, too. But uh the stitches are out and u I guess I'm healing up.
I'll just be glad when it's completely healed. It's going to be another little bit, but it'll be all right. Christopher Mullenzone says, "A cooler summer sounds great to me." It does to me, too. I I'm anxious to see how this is going to play out. Also, I do want to mention before we leave the commercials, Finish Line Car Wash. I got to tell you, I went through there uh let's see, yesterday or was it the day before? It was the day before yesterday. And I mean, they put a shine on your vehicle that you can't hardly you can't hardly look at it. You got to have sunglasses. Look at my my vehicle. It's so shiny.
So, I just thought I'd put that out there and and tell you that uh Finish Line Car Wash is one of the best out there on Fort Boulevard. Uh let's see here. What's it next to in across from McDonald's on the boulevard? Uh, you can't miss them. Uh, tell them David Pal sent you on Weather and Wisdom channel and that will make them feel really good and who knows, they might give you some.
You never can tell. Um, okay. And then was there someone else?
I was going to run Oh, I know what it was. I was going to run the the uh quad fencing one more time. You guys got to see it. I swear I love it.
>> Got storms destroying your fence.
Quality privacy fencing uses massive post much larger than the standard 3 and 1/2 in post. 8 ft long with over 2 feet anchored deep underground. Built Kentucky strong to handle our worst weather. Whether you're replacing storm damage or want peace of mind from day one, our custom gates resist sagging with reinforced cross bracing. Plus, we paint fences to keep them looking great.
Don't let the next storm catch you off guard. Call Quality Privacy Fencing at 270-4843058 for a fence that stands strong when it matters most.
And y'all know I don't normally play the same commercial and twice in the same show, but I got to admit they have done such quality work. I I can't tell you how proud of it I am. And I hope that you guys will give them a call if you have anything like that needs to be done. Are you tired of your privacy fence being torn down or messed up from the wind? I don't think those will go anywhere. It'll take a tornado to tear those down because it is really stoutly built. So proud of it. And uh I'm proud of Mike to Mark Thomasson and his and his crew. They really did a good job.
Okay. Uh let's see. Is there anything else on there? I don't think so.
>> Yeah.
take a look at the radar and look up around Nortonville, Morton's Gap, Arlington.
>> All righty then.
>> I don't I look up that way and you can't see anything.
So, and it just suddenly it's the only thing around that just suddenly popped up. So, I don't know exactly what it is.
>> Yeah, it looks like a storm because you can see it grows in the animation.
>> Okay. Anybody else up that way? Give us a report around Nortonville, Bennington, Greenville. Anybody looking out that way and see this, let us know what it looks like. Especially Nortonville.
>> The only wind up that way. It's only running, you know, maybe 15, 20 miles an hour.
See if I can see it from the Hopkinsville radar.
I can see it.
This is looking at a lower angle. So, you're looking at the lower levels there, huh?
There's the uh Evansville radar. It also is picking up. So, all of them are picking it up.
>> Well, it looks like a smoke plume.
Well, I would have thought that, but when you put the radar into motion, it could be could be a field fire up that way or something.
Leg of praise says, "God love you, David. Continued prayers for a complete recovery." Thank you, Ler. I appreciate that. Uh, Sakor says, "Justice just got news they're being evicted. I might get some sleep sometime next month." Well, I wasn't going to have I didn't want to have to try to call them out, but I was getting ready to.
That's kind of neat, though. I don't know. It's got to be a That's got to be a I would think that's got to be a fire.
Yeah, because it starts just uh to the southeast of Madisonville or southwest of Madisonville right there. Right at where are we at?
AC Station Road in that area.
>> Yeah, because the back end is not moving much. Yeah, right off Pleasant View Road, which is near.
I could I could try and see if the uh WKDZ camera has anything, but I don't see a thing.
Yeah. And if it was a storm, you'd be able to see it.
Yeah. Eric Bra says the northern tip of that radar return is not moving out.
That is bound to be a fire.
>> Yeah.
So, if anyone out there can look up towards Nortonville or if you're in Dawson Springs, look off to the uh west northwest and see if you see any smoke and give us a report.
It is starting to die down too.
Uh, let's see if we got it on satellite.
Let me see if I can find Zoom Earth.
Well, they haven't. Let me let this clear up a little. It looks like there might be something there.
>> Yeah, >> just doesn't seem want to clear up. This is a It should clear up here a little bit as it becomes clearer, but I believe there is a fire there. You can kind of see it.
Well, where did I go?
>> Other side of the world. There you go.
>> Yeah, there's something there. You can see that right here a little bit better.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, at least we know there was something there.
All right. Well, let's just go on back to where we were.
Here we go.
Okay. Well, Mark, I don't see anything other than that. I don't think it's going to be a big deal for us. It looks like it might be a smoke smoke plume coming down.
>> Yeah, it looks like that'll stay east of us because our winds are out of the northwest right now.
>> Yep. So, um, anyway, all right. Do you want to give another quick rundown of everything?
>> Sure thing. Looks like uh again, beautiful afternoon today. High in the upper 70s now. Uh, tonight we'll drop into the upper 40s. Thursday, middle 70s again, we had that dry cold front coming through right now. Thursday night, around 50. Friday, we get back up close to the low 80s. Then Friday night, we see a chance of rain coming in. About a 40% chance. Saturday, about a 30% chance of afternoon evening showers or thunder showers. And then the heat starts coming on early next week. High in the low 90s.
Uh the the cool down for that will come on uh come on sometime after Tuesday.
But that's our next big chance of rain after all this.
>> And I'm sure dreading that. But anyway, so if you haven't subscribed to the channel, I'd appreciate if you guys just hit the subscribe button. Doesn't cost you anything to do it and it helps the channel out considerably. Um, and uh anyway, you don't you don't have to do anything. You might have to give an email address if you've never done that before, but uh that's just to make sure you're a real person. That's all they want it for. You won't hear from them.
But anyway, so it's good seeing all of you. There's Dave all with us. It's good seeing everyone. And uh glad to see Eric Break and all the others on with us, our moderators. We give thanks to them and and appreciate their presence and help us out.
So, we'll see what happens as we get into this uh uh El Nino and uh see what happens as far as way to affect us and we'll keep you informed.
All right, Mark, any last words you want to say? It's time to shut her on down.
Everyone have a great rest of the week and we'll see you again Friday.
>> Yeah. And you know if I don't see you here. Oh, wait a minute. Judy Walton Newton says, "Hello, guys. Got on just time to see his check off, Judy."
Uh, okay. John John Bryant says, "See everyone Friday." That's when our next live broadcast is, unless there's something happens between now and then.
Uh, but I'll be watching for you or watch for me on the Facebook live. I'll try to do those updates on a regular basis. Uh so with that, I guess if I don't see you here, um I'll see you here.
>> Bye everybody.
