The video provides a tidy summary of classical apologetics but relies on special pleading to bypass the logical contradictions it purports to solve. It offers a comfortable primer for the faithful rather than a rigorous philosophical challenge to the status quo.

Does God exist?Added:
Every religion on Earth agrees something created everything, but nobody wants to answer this. Who created that?
Stay with me. By the end of this video, you'll never see God the same way again.
Here's something school never tells you.
>> [music] >> Even scientists agree the universe had a beginning. Before the Big Bang, there was nothing. No space, no time, nothing at all. But something had to start it.
[music] Philosophers call this the cosmological argument. Everything that begins, [music] like begins to exist, has a cause. The universe began, so [music] what caused it? Some people say it doesn't have to be God. Fair [music] enough, but try to name something that creates time, space, and matter out of nothing.
>> [music] >> That description sounds a lot like what billions of people call God.
But if God created everything, who created [music] him? That's where it gets really interesting. People ask this all the time.
>> [music] >> If everything needs a creator, doesn't God need one, too?
All right, here's the thing. The argument [music] was never everything needs a creator.
It's everything that begins to [music] exist needs a cause. If God is eternal, no beginning, no end, that rule simply doesn't apply to it.
Think [music] about it. Something had to exist before time even started. That something, [music] by definition, exists outside of time.
Can your mind even picture that? Neither can mine. And maybe that's the whole point. But here's [music] where most people really start to struggle with God.
This [music] is the big one.
Kids get seriously ill, wars destroy innocent lives, families lose everything [music] in natural disasters. If God is real and all powerful, why does [music] any of that happen?
This is called the problem of evil.
Even something that I sometimes [music] struggle with sometimes.
It has caused more people to stop believing in God than any science has [music] ever.
The most common answer is free will. God gave humans the freedom to choose. And a lot of suffering comes [music] from those from like those choices.
But what about natural disasters? A child born seriously ill? That has nothing to do with human choices.
[music] Many traditions teach that God doesn't just remove suffering. He goes through it with us. Almost every major religion describes a God who is present in our pain, >> [music] >> not absent from it.
So what does this all actually come down to?
The greatest minds in history have debated have debated this for thousands of years.
And it still isn't really settled.
Does God exist? The evidence is real on both sides. Was he created? If he's eternal, the question doesn't apply.
Why does suffering exist? Logic gets you close, but not all the way there.
That last part is something very something every person has to work through themselves.
>> [music] >> The universe exists. You exist.
Something is responsible for that. What you call [music] it is up to you. Drop your answer in the comments. I want to know where you stand.
Now, here's what I personally believe.
>> [music] >> For thousands of years, people searched for answers about God. Then one man showed [music] up. Born in poverty, no army, no throne, and changed the entire world [music] forever.
Jesus didn't just talk about God. He said he was God. Then he backed it up.
He [music] healed people. He loved people nobody else would touch and he willingly [music] gave his life so that every question about suffering, purpose, [music] and where we go when we die could finally have an answer.
No other figure in history made those claims [music] and had millions of people die rather than deny him.
That's not just [music] a good person.
That's not just a teacher. That's someone worth looking into.
And [music] he didn't just do all that stuff. He literally resurrected three days later after dying on the cross [music] and and was literally alive for 40 days after and rose to heaven.
So if you ever [music] felt felt lost, empty, or the life or that or like life has no [music] real meaning, maybe the answer isn't an argument. Maybe it's a person. Look into Jesus for yourself.
Don't take my word for it.
>> [music] >> The evidence is there.
