>> Hey everybody. Hope everybody's had a great weekend. Uh, of course we have.

>> Uh, hey, we back at y'all with some more great viewers questions. Uh, before that, got a couple shoutouts. has got some birthdays, maybe anniversaries, maybe some prayers.
>> Have three of each.
>> Oh, that's fantastic. That is fantastic.
>> Three of each. Okay. You had a couple shout out.
>> Oh, yeah. I got a shout out to Sue Shannon from the UK. Hey, we appreciate your support. And Lena >> Lyn >> Lynn from Sweden. Yes.
>> Thank you.
>> Yes. Okay. Happy birthday to Rick Krauss.
Beverly [clears throat] Mullen and Texas Ray. Happy birthday. Uh, happy anniversary for Roger and Sheila, Liz and Steve and Jim and Terry Zza. Also, keep Roger in your prayers. Also, uh, please keep in your prayers Quinton, Tabitha Truit, and Tammy Blackwell. Keep y'all in our prayers.
>> Okay. So, tomorrow >> prayers going everybody. Yes. Uh, also >> tomorrow's the day.
>> Our special anniversary, y'all. Uh, >> how long we've been married tomorrow?
>> Too long.
>> Too long. No, we've been married >> 20 years.
>> 20 years.
>> 20 years. Tomorrow. Yep. We had We ate lunch out today. And >> I can't even count 20.
>> I know. [laughter] >> There's no I tried.
>> Longest marriage I ever had. Thank goodness. You, too. All right. Uh, so hey, happy anniversary.
>> Yes, happy anniversary.
>> Love you.
>> I love you, too.
>> Oh, you want to start? Do you want to start questions?
>> Yeah, let's do some questions.
>> Okay. The first question is from Wesley Gamble. Did you ever damage anything besides the golf cart that belonged to Elvis that had to be paid for or replaced?
>> Well, it was the golf cart that I actually Well, we tore up a few golf carts. We never had to pay for any of them. I mean, that was just part of it. Uh, you know, even Elvis and, uh, you know, some of the others that guys that rode and of course mom and dad and all. I mean, you was going to somebody stopped, you was right on them, you was going to bump and, you know, uh, they were made of fiberglass.
So, uh, for the most part. So, yes. Uh, and then of course, you know, I told the story that, yeah, I did, uh, tear leases up pretty good. Uh, I turned it over. It actually come had when he got it, it had a roof and windshield on it. Uh just not for very long. Uh but then again, uh >> well, she took the blame for that, didn't she?
>> Yeah, she did. But either way, I mean, that just wasn't Elvis. He he just he laughed. I mean, you know, when I was little living in California and stuff, you know, there was whatnotss and stuff, you know, that I broke. Every kid does.
Uh uh and he just, you know, >> what about like it >> when y'all throwing pool balls at each other? Surely you broke stuff doing that.
>> Well, yeah, but I didn't, >> right? You just You just talked someone into >> Look, y'all, we were like all other kids. Yes. You know, stuff got chipped or or cracked or broke or But uh [snorts] we always had a great story of why.
>> I bet. [clears throat] Yeah, I bet.
Okay. From Carolyn C. Did many may treat the Smith children like you in a grandmotherly way? She did. Mini May Grandma was Every time we would go and visit her, she always had candy. Always. Peanut butter cups, which is my favorite.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Uh baby rose. Uh uh what's that? Butter finger. Just >> Butter finger, >> all kinds of candy. And uh she always gave, you know, when Lisa had her braces and and uh they couldn't find out how she and where she was getting the chocolates and the candy from. It was it was from grandma. But uh yeah, she and y'all like I always said, she uh what always got me about her is I I guess I reminded her so much of of my daddy that uh every time I went there, she had a tale to tell uh tell me about when he was little and something he got into or something he did. So, >> didn't make you feel so bad. But yeah, she she loved all all the kids, you know, and and she took them in just like, you know, and to us, you know, that's that's what we called her, you know, grandma. Uh even though, you know, technically she wasn't, >> but she was >> in the heart.
>> Okay. From David Babcock, did Elvis ever get really irritated with the kids running around? And did he ever do some correcting?
to say he never got irritated, I wouldn't know. And the reason I say that is because uh no, he he never uh he never corrected us on uh on anything.
And and as far as I know, uh he never said anything to to mom and daddy because that's if it had have been something that would have been that I guess extreme, he would have said something, you know, and they would have, you know, passed it.
>> Yeah. But uh you know y'all it's like I said and he meant every word of the love. I mean uh you know when he went to even from the beginning you know when lived with him in California but and at Gracland uh you know he meant what he said. It it it was ours. Treat it like ours. and and you know it just didn't I mean he didn't just didn't uh he didn't give a damn about material things like a lot a lot of folks did. He just wanted to love life and enjoy it and believe [clears throat] me we did.
>> Oh yeah. Okay. This one this question is for me from John Kaufman.
>> Oh me.
>> He wants to know, have you ever wished you could have been there with Danny when Elvis and Lisa Marie were there? I know a lot of people will go, "Oh, yeah.
Yeah, and yeah, but if I had been, [snorts] I was three I'm three years younger than Danny, so I would more likely been playing with Lisa >> than anything with Danny because he would have been that would be a pretty big age difference at that time, you know."
>> Three years. Yeah.
>> Yeah. But when you're That's a big age difference when you're little when you're Plus, it wouldn't have happened.
I had very strict parents, so I mean, I didn't get to go to pro. I think though, you know, take that away. I think what maybe they're getting at too, so we answer it both ways is uh and I can understand that. Uh but take that away.
>> Uh you know, we both we've talked about it before how how >> we met at the time in our life when we should >> how cool. Yes. But how cool it would have been and and uh you know we've talked about you know uh and mom and daddy how you know >> you know we think Elvis would uh felt about you and and we know how you would felt about him and >> uh SP I don't know what it was a little flying or I guess I don't know >> or one of those little what do they call them orbs?
>> I don't think they touch you though.
Uh but uh y'all to be honest uh yeah if uh if she'd have seen me back then >> oh brother >> she'd have wanted me she'd have wanted to be my girlfriend.
>> I was too young for you then. [laughter] >> Okay.
>> But things happen for a reason. Look at us now.
>> That's right. That's right.
>> 20 years should have. Yes. Okay. Moving on from Teresa Hughes. [cough] Did the people in the neighborhood behind Graceland ever try jumping the fence to get into Gracland's backyard?
>> You know, jumping the fence, peeping through the fence, climbing up on the fence, getting something to stand on and look over fence. Uh yeah, at one time or another they did it all. Now, you know, after a while it wasn't so, >> you know, it wasn't so bad with with a lot of them, you know, that surrounded.
But but yeah, but with some. And of course, you know, if they had people come over, you know, Yeah. They I mean, hey, >> you can get a glimpse of Elvis Presley.
>> Right. Right.
>> You're going to try to get it. So, >> all right. From Sunflower. Did Lisa Marie ever get you into trouble or blame you for something?
>> She uh she always threatened uh you know, that was uh that was one of the big games, you know, uh and y'all heard stories about it. Well, of course, she did that with with a lot of the the adults. Uh, you know, uh she didn't get her way or or or something didn't go like she was going to go tell her daddy.
Uh but we at first kind of fell under noises and maybe go along and then didn't then we kind of realized, hey, look, we can play the same game. So, you know what? Hey, if you go tell your daddy and we'll just stay out of trailer, we're not going to come out ride cars. we're not going to play and we're not going to do nothing.
So, we uh compromised. Uh but as far as uh her getting us into any trouble, I can't remember any. Like I said, it was that one uh you know, that one time that she actually uh stood up for me. So, you know, and and and you know, and on that one, I thought, you know, I mean, [clears throat] >> you thought you were done for? I you know I mean that was a present from her daddy and I'm thinking whoa how am I gonna get out of this one.
>> Did you ever tell your mom and daddy?
>> Oh yeah they knew.
>> They knew back then they knew.
>> Uh no. Well I mean later they knew. No they didn't know if you're talking about No. Lisa, you know for a good long time.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. No mama didn't raise no >> after you were grown.
>> Okay. [laughter] >> After you were grown.
>> After I was grown. Yeah. Didn't want to tell them. [laughter] >> Yeah. Okay. From Johnny Silva. How did it feel living at Graceland, >> Johnny? [snorts] Man, like I've said, I could just I I could go on with just [snorts] I mean, at times, especially times of the year, like right now when it's starting to turn uh from, you know, spring to summer and and the weather's starting what I call to get just right.
Uh, you know, I can still remember that smell in the air at Gracland. If if that makes any sense. It may not you. Uh, you know, and and some of the summer nights, you know, the the breeze, we did have a little breeze. Some uh we didn't get nothing. And, you know, it was so hot that, you know, dogs were laid out with their their tongues hung out looking like leather. It was you couldn't breathe.
>> There a lot of lightning bolts and lightning bugs.
>> Yeah. And and it was just beautiful. I mean and and you know everything we rode golf carts, swam, played in the raet ball, play inside grace, whatever we did it we just we didn't have a care in the world. I I mean and that's what was so so great about it. It was just like, you know, it can go on and on and on and and you know, there's nobody to stop us.
There's nobody that wants to stop us.
there's nobody that's going to uh you know, we're not going to get in trouble.
I mean, it just we just didn't care. And when we were made to feel that way. I mean, but we respected, of course, his stuff. But, uh, you know, uh, he just he made his and and that's why, you know, like I say y'all, uh, Gracland, you know, I wish, but can never be what it once was. But, you know, I'll always have memories and uh, you know, I'll always back in in and when I'm just sitting relaxing out listening to Elvis music or or whatever takes me back uh to some of those times, you know, then I have those memories or daydreams, if you want to call them, that uh that I live over and over and over and uh I thank God for that.
>> Okay, last question is from Stacy Peeler.
Do you think Elvis would be blown away at the thought of how many people still love him and listen to his music today?
>> I don't think I know he would be so honored uh so proud.
Uh and to think y'all have done that. I I I want to say I mean we don't never know we we we what we feel or or or speculate but I I I want to feel and I do feel in my heart that uh uh he's looking down and thinking wow you know to love me they all love me like that and and [snorts] you know and all I gave was just uh love music uh loyalty.
So, I mean, it just there's not words of of how I I know he would have felt, but he would he would have been very very honored like uh y'all all know. And that's why and I will say it again, there is not a following like the Elvis family.
The Elvis family is the true Elvis fans.
Always has been, always will be. Is that all the questions? Y Teresa. Y'all y'all y'all?
>> I'm a y'all. Okay. Me, myself, and I.
>> You all.
>> Is that y'all?
>> Yeah. Okay.
>> Hey, uh just a reminder, uh I know it's in August, but I get hyped about it. Uh the f the EFM event uh of Mom and Daddy's, we're looking forward to it. Me and Trista's going to be there as always. Danielle, uh, possibly Lanny and Nolan if if Lanny don't have school, and of course, Mom and Daddy and and all of you that come.
So, if you hadn't got a ticket, hey, get with Danielle. Uh, >> you can Facebook message >> and she handles all of it. And, uh, y'all come uh come hang out with us. I think you will, uh, you'll really enjoy it. Uh, and and it'll be heartfelt and emotional. I can promise you that. Also too, uh I mentioned and I'm not sure. I'm going to let uh Shauna uh decide which date. I actually just texted her back. I hadn't heard back from her yet, but uh this coming up Thursday or Friday, she will let you know for sure. Uh and the time uh but me and Teresa is looking forward to being on her show for a birthday bash. You're getting older, girl. But we love you. We love all of you. And remember, till next time, we always live Elvis.
