Not you again. Once again, the science is here to say that we're in for a hell of a lot of sea level rise. Two new papers have come out recently showing that our estimates of sea level rise driven by ice loss from the polar ice sheets are too low. Even the most optimistic visions of the future have likely underestimated how much sea level rise we're in for. And it's pretty clear too that we are not doing what we need to do to make those low emissions futures materialize. What with all the fossil fuels and wars and stuff, the best thing to do is deep rapid emissions cuts.
