What REALLY happened at the All American Reptile and Plant Expo in Denver with Dav KaufmanAdded:
Hello. Ha. Top of the morning, friends and family.
On this channel, wait, you know, it's we're we're looking to get to be consistent again.
Though I know there was a long moment of inconsistency, but now that we're back to consistency, once a week you uploaded a beautifully edited cinematic masterpiece that edits out any mistakes I make, and we don't include any of them. This video, however, is uncut. Well, I was going to say has Dave Kaufman in it. That, too.
Because those are two different things.
Uh To be uncut is not to be Dave Kaufman. Well, I do cut some things, but Dave Well, I do cut some things.
>> you cut? I'm not like right now. I'm not Oh, wait. Nope. I I stand corrected. I am doing it right now.
He's cut. I'm cutting. I'm not cut. All right. So, Mr. Brian. Mr. Dave, I would love for you to show me around this wonderful reptile expo that is on its way to being almost over, which is great, because now we can actually walk through the aisles.
>> And and let me tell you something.
All day long yesterday, all day long today, you could not walk down this aisle. I mean, this expo has been crowded.
>> we can, because I literally I felt bad, but I would literally bap somebody in the face with my camera, and that felt wrong. It would have been funny, depending on the person.
I mean I don't want to find out the hard way. Yeah, that's true. That's true, cuz >> Colorado cold bloods.
>> doing things the hard way is pretty hard.
What's the coolest thing you've seen at the show so far?
>> Well, it would probably be right over here at MFA.
Moss Family Adventure. Okay. And Well, follow me just right over here, if you would.
We're going to follow Dave right over here. Dave has things to show you.
>> Excuse us, please.
Because right here, you will find a sunglow jag, which I featured in my video. Oh.
So, people should go watch your video.
>> That's correct. Okay.
That is correct. And look, it was born on 093 of 2024.
Yeah, I I I know I'm familiar with that date.
>> Yeah.
I spent some time in 093 >> Yeah. in 20 back in 2024. That's right.
That was a good time for me.
I remember it just like it was uh 92. That's right.
>> Yeah. That's right.
And as we all know, any decade that began with 80 or 90 was the best decade humanity will ever have ever again.
>> Those were the best. I I agree. Those were the best. All right.
So, that's Moss Family Adventures. They are awesome. They have awesome carpet pythons.
But over here, you might find some other things. Might I? You might.
What other things might I find at Look at all these plants. I So, this is a reptile and plant expo.
And like reptile people never stop to look at the plants and say, "Look at this plant."
Does Does that mean that we're not reptile people any longer, Dave? Well, it just means that we're reptile people that have a horizon from here to about here.
A horizon Well, don't horizons usually go like from here all the way across to here?
With normal people, yes.
But for us reptile people, horizon and plants, horizon.
Now, I've been told that this right here is about 8 in.
So, that's a pretty big horizon.
>> [laughter] >> I I I don't I don't I don't have anything to say to that, Dave.
>> just taken advantage of your uncutness.
>> what was cool?
Aquatic dog plants, pets, and supplies.
>> These guys are extremely impressive, actually, and I'll I'll I'll show you why. Come over here.
Well, what I why I was impressed with them, they put on this whole event the other night.
>> Behold okay. el monster axolotl. Oh my goodness. Dude, that thing is enormous.
And did you know that axolotl is we are grossly mispronouncing axolotl? That's not how you pronounce it.
>> How do you pronounce it?
>> I have no clue, but we're mispronouncing it by saying axolotl. How do you know we're mispronouncing it if you don't know the correct way to say it?
>> This one's also big and huge.
What What do you think um it is about axolotls that they no longer let you keep them in California, Dave?
>> Um it's because the uh California um state animal is the bear, right? It's on your flag. Yes. And there's no room on that flag for both a bear and an axolotl, and they don't want to confuse people or anger people.
>> Especially when you consider how absolutely large they can get, apparently. But I want to tell you that these actually I think this is a true 8 in, despite what people have told you about what how long 8 in actually is. I think this axolotl actually is 8 in, and the little thing that you did with your fingers earlier was actually quite a bit smaller than that measurement.
>> It's possible. Quite possible. Although, I do know what 8 in is.
Yeah, it's a unit of measurement.
>> That's correct. It's shorter than a foot, but it's longer than an inch. I'm glad you said inch there. All right. So, have a look at this. This is a ivory blue tongue that is sleeping.
Why do you think it's sleep? Well, because lizards get tired very easily.
And how about you? I get very tired very easily.
Are you tired of this video already? Um no. However, um Oh, it woke up. Oh.
So did I.
And then this dude right up ahead or right up on top.
>> Now, that guy's sleeping.
>> About 8 in on top of that blue tongue?
I These should be the most popular pet lizards, I think. And why aren't they? I don't know. I don't even know what it is.
Isn't it a uh Oh. It's a green skink thing.
>> You You go Oh, you almost had it. Green skinky. No. It's a green skink-heeled scale anerythristic hypomelanistic anerythristic axanthic hypo tree lizard.
I think it just woke up, cuz it smelled something funny.
Yep. Sure did.
Sorry. Smell you clear over here.
Oh, [laughter] man. Oh, man. This guy's talking smack, Dave.
>> Yeah, he is. All right. Moving right along.
Uh what else is there to see? There's an Anthony right there.
Would you like to say something for yourself?
Um best reptile show on the planet. And that's all what they look like.
Would you say this mic is about 8 in?
Um I would give it a solid 10.
Especially there you have it, folks. Men have no clue how big something is.
All right. So, let's move on over here.
Oh, did we see these scorpions down here?
>> gosh, they're doing a dance, Dave.
They're doing scorpion dance. Have you ever seen one do a dance like this?
>> Yes, I have, actually. Right now, as I'm looking at it.
Bro.
Dude.
>> It looks like he's cheering for his home team. Why did he stop?
>> He's like, "Yay, Colorado Scorpions."
But then he then he stopped.
>> "Goal." And so forth. Oh, there he goes.
He fell.
>> Oh, no.
>> Oh, man. He's just about as coordinated as I am.
There's a lot of them in here.
>> graceful.
Yeah, I like scorpions. They are just very scorpion-y.
>> They're scorpiorific. Scorpiny.
Scorpion notus.
What's the plural of scorpion? Uh scorp- scorpinae? Scorpinae?
>> Scorpid scorp- scorpinices?
>> Scorpia You know what it is?
>> Scorpinices? It's It's much simpler than we're making it out to be.
Comment below if you know the plural of scorpion.
Yeah, that would be helpful, because >> Scorpian. I was just going to add an S on the end. That seems >> Scorpianus. Too simple. An 8-in scorpianus.
That's what Dave has.
That's 8 in. All right. Now, let's move over here.
You sure you don't want to make some cuts in this video?
>> [laughter] >> No, I Yes, I do. All of a sudden, I really want to cut something. Over here, we have leopard geckos.
>> Oh my goodness. And according to uh Adam Wilkins, you can keep every single one of these leopard geckos on this table in the same 10-gallon uh enclosure.
That is a fact.
Are you sure it wasn't an 8-gallon enclosure? Cuz I I don't remember it being that big. Mm, could have been eight. That seems to be the common thread of this video. Eight. I give it a solid eight. This video's getting a solid eight.
>> Solid eight.
All right. So, moving on.
Oh, let's go down this way.
>> Okay.
Just because. Because we're just trying to get away from >> That's right. things. Pangea is represented over yonder. I feel like They They Pangea sells a lot of wood.
A lot of 8-in wood.
They would.
>> Yeah. They would sell it.
>> How much wood would Pangea wood sell if wood sell Pangea wood? 8 inches.
>> 8 inches is the answer.
>> wood, that is the answer.
>> It's absolute correct. Uh, mountain mane constrictors? They don't They are.
They're here.
>> Always awesome to see Skyler. Yeah. And And the person that just ducked behind the counter, too. It was always awesome to see. Except for when you don't see.
Hey Hang on a second. Oh, wait a minute.
It was just over there, but now it's not over there. Now it's over here, but it's not over here.
Oh, they used to have a really cool big cribo, but apparently it's not on display any longer.
The cribo has turned into a boa. You know, that doesn't happen that often.
This is a cool rare moment where you get to witness >> is a cool rare moment where you get to witness a cribo that became a boa constrictor.
>> That's a really cool boa, too, actually.
Is it? Yeah. What makes it so cool? I don't know. It's >> The fact that I can't focus on it.
>> sitting there all boa-y and boa-like and Uh-oh, it's stargazing, Dave.
>> It's boa. Oh, we Well, let's move on, then. All right, let's move along.
Okay. All right. I would like to I would like to point out right over here. Over here?
>> Yeah, right here. Frostbite Feeders.
There's a link in the description, and it helps support this channel. If you go and order your frozen feeders from Frostbite Feeders, which are all produced in the US.
>> In the United States of What's the What's the America? Right here. They're produced right here.

Click it and take it.
>> Show So special?
>> special.
>> 25% off.
>> Use Costco code Costco code. I'll link The instructions will be in the description. I'll make it easy. All right. Uh, Dave? Yes, sir. Any final thoughts?
Are we done? Oh, no, we don't have to be done if you don't want to.
>> No, we done. There's so much more to see. Why are we going to be done? I don't know. I feel like we can't show Carl's geckos again. Not because I don't like Carl Carl's geckos Carl's geckos or Carl's pectinata or Carl's centrosaurus. Uh, then let's move this way, then.
>> Okay. Yeah, bye, Carl. Good to see you.
>> It's just that we've showed them so many But look at Carl. Look at Actually, you know what's funny about that is that Carl winds up in my videos all the time.
>> I know. Cuz Carl is awesome. So, we should look at him. Yeah, look at him.
>> going to look at him. We've showed his animals so many times. I just feel like we shouldn't show him. We should just show Carl himself. Do you see it? How hard this man has been working?
>> Look at him.
I mean, he looks exhausted.
That's not what I meant. Well.
>> [laughter] >> The homie's lost like almost a 100 lbs, dude. Isn't That's impressive. I'm a dude. I don't notice that stuff.
8 inches off the waist, Dave.
>> 8 wooden That I might notice.
All right.
Oh, somebody won sponsor giveaway. Oh, somebody won something. That's the winners. Well, there are a lot of winners here.
Me not included.
>> 8-in winners.
>> 8-in winners.
Uh, did we go down this aisle yet? See what's >> I'm just going to follow you, Dave. See what Well, you've been doing that for years.
[laughter] That's true. Uh, you're one of the few.
>> here we have a variety of Rhacodactylus.
That's so much fun to say. Like everybody at home right now, say it with me. Rhacodactylus.
So much fun to say.
Uh, how do you spell that? R A dactylus.
>> Oh, you forgot the H.
>> Oh. Don't forget the H.
I'm pretty sure there's an H. I might be making it up.
>> Could be. I don't know.
There is an H. Yes.
>> There's an H over at the Frankenstein place.
There we have a gargoyle gecko. You can tell it's a gargoyle gecko because of its wings.
And what about this one, Dave?
>> That is also a gargoyle gecko, and you can tell because of its wings. And what about this one, Dave? That is also a gargoyle gecko, and you can tell because of its tail. You thought I was going to say wings again, didn't you?
>> I did, and now I'm kind of disappointed that you didn't.
>> a missed opportunity. That's, you know, the story of my life.
>> Ooh. Okay, now. Well, what are you saying, Uchu?
Chameleon.
>> Ooh, the karma chameleons.
>> What? Carmel? Oh, karma. Carmel. Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon.
>> Oh, there's one up there.
It's looking at you.
It's looking at me, too. I want to find Yeah, it's looking at you and me at the same time, cuz that's what chameleons do. This one's looking bright.
Oh, yeah. And I'm not talking about its color temperature.
I'm talking about its intelligence level.
You know what I'm saying? I do. I do.
I do.
I think I'm scared of me. Stop moving. I have been called dim before, and I happen to believe that that was in reference to my color temperature.
Um, Dave, ouch. I almost fell.
You're standing on the floor. How did you almost fall?
Have you never fallen while standing on the floor?
>> No.
Well, let me tell you, it's quite the experience.
Um I haven't eaten yet today, Dave. You haven't eaten yet today?
>> I'm seeing this guy over here with his little ice cream thing, and I'm thinking about running over there and stealing it.
>> Oh, the ice cream. I thought you were looking at the chameleons thinking that.
>> ice cream over there, bro. Cuz chameleons don't taste very good.
>> a big old ice cream bar. Yeah, look at that.
>> And he's just eating it. Just smiling.
>> Like we're not going to come take it from him.
>> Yeah, we're taking it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
>> [laughter] >> Okay, Dave.
Um, I've got one more thing. Oh, look at these. You know what? Terra tents.
>> have a discount code for these, too.
That's pretty cool. If you want to check out some of these tents, um, I I helped make a commercial for them that Dave put on his channel.
Coupon code down below if you'd like to get a discount off of these, and they're pretty cool. The cool thing about them is that you can just like lift them up with one hand, and yet they're super strong. Okay, I'm breaking things.
Really? You can that You can lift these up with one hand?
>> wasn't breaking things. I just was making the light How did you lift that up with one hand? Um Try harder.
Yeah, you can. You can lift those up with one hand.
>> [laughter] [gasps] >> All right, Dave. This is your last straw. My last straw? Yeah. So, you get a chance to uh call Um, they're calling you, Anthony.
Here. Come take this walkie-talkie. They called your name just now.
>> you.
Say Say hello to them.
Hello, guys.
Uh, don't worry about Fritz. They are They don't have any aquatics, so uh just the reptile chip.
Sounds good. The reptile chip is up on.
Hey, you want to come help me carry the cage out? I would love to.
That's >> good timing, wasn't it?
>> That was the most single tantalizing conversation I have ever been a part of.
>> [laughter] >> Yeah, that was weird. Everything kind of lined up. He said Fritz, and there's big old sign back there that says Fritz right when he said Fritz.
>> I thought he was talking about me.
Nobody's ever called me Fritz before, but there's a first time for everything, I guess. Well, we are going to conclude this video on yonder. All right.
Sweet sweet sweet sweet yonder.
>> a lot of these toads. A lot of people think these are marine toads. They are not. It looks uh What kind of toad is it, Dave?
>> These are smooth-sided toads.
These are native to a planet in the Proxima Centauri galaxy solar system area.
Is that near Sapphire Point?
>> Right. And that's where we just sent Artemis 2.
But it um They They forgot their credit cards, so they had to go around the moon and come back to Earth. But soon, we will be sending them to the planet of the toads.
Okay. Ironically, that planet is only 8 inches in circumference.
Look at these Speaking of 8 inches.
Look at that sucker. That's a solid 8 inches right there.
>> Those are piebald veiled chameleons.
Wow.
You know, Brian, one of the things that I love about doing these videos with you is just the silliness.
Has there been a silly moment?
>> This is I mean, silly moments, not very funny moments.
>> moments. I feel like we've been nothing but serious. And now, let's conclude this video on this chili pepper >> chili pepper brown anole.
How amaze-balls is that? Let me get a better handle on it.
Chili pepper brown anole.
Wow. Seven generations of Seven generations.
>> of chili pepper brown anole.
>> eight. Yeah, pretty sure. We're not doing seven around here today. All right. Let's conclude this video on Oh, there's a good pied over there.
