[00:00:46]Beach trips, vacations, out-of-town getaways. And when we But what if we shift a little, and instead of saying maybe we can start thinking summer all, because summer shouldn't only belong to people who can travel or spend a lot.

[00:01:11]Maybe you're a student on break, a fresh graduate figuring things out, or a working professional trying to make the most of your time. You know, summer doesn't have to be expensive to be meaningful. And in fact, it can even be the perfect season to start something new like a side hustle. So, in today's episode, we're going to talk about five side hustles that you can start this summer with zero capital. Now, the reason why I wanted to create this episode is because I want people who are just starting out there. Maybe your emergency fund or about seeing other people have fun during summer. Beach trips beach getaways and summer getaways. I'm here to tell you that you can really have fun and still be productive and still make a little bit of money on the side. If you're not doing anything this summer.

[00:02:05]And maybe that's something that you can start with your friends or with your siblings or with your loved ones. And then put together a new fund that you can eventually use for the next summer.

[00:02:16]Okay, so here are the five things. First is to sell pre-loved items online. I don't know if you guys follow Joyce Spring Cleaning, but that is my account for selling my pre-loved items online. I used to think that I saw a content creator from abroad who posted about how he made a lot of money just selling some of his pre-loved stuff at home. And I also read a book that talked about how if the item that you have at home is just sitting there, it doesn't really have a purpose. It's better to just sell it or to donate it.

[00:02:54]But it has a purpose and it's not just accumulating dust in your house. So, summer is actually the perfect season for you to declutter. You know, you might be surprised at how many things you no longer use, but someone else might need.

[00:03:08]Um one of the conversations that one show and I would talk about was going to item the tool like my my my gadgets and things like that. But for me, if I don't use it anymore, better it be sold and somebody gets to use it and it gets to be a part of their life. And the best part is that you don't even need capital for this. All you have to do is look around the house. You're simply turning unused items into extra income. And sometimes the best summer reset starts with letting go of the things that we no longer need. And you know, summer doesn't always mean leaving your house or going on trips or going for a swim. Sometimes it simply means creating space for something new. And the best part is also you don't even have to be well known or to have a following.

[00:04:11]If you have a lot of items that you want to sell, maybe you can check out like bazaar places and things like that. Or you could even do online stuff.

[00:04:26]It's so easy to sell things right now, even on marketplace and things like that. So, I urge you. It's something that I recently discovered.

[00:04:37]Or summer cleaning. Come in before moving into this new home. And I was so surprised at the amount of money that I was able to make just by selling old stuff that I wasn't even using.

[00:04:49]So, hopefully that's something that you guys can check out, too. Number two, online tutoring.

[00:04:56]I have a friend who's a teacher, and one of the things that she would do to make extra money not just during summer, but on a regular basis, is to tutor. She would tutor kids who were already in her classes. You know, she would offer the service to the parents. Or summer specific subject that she would tutor.

[00:05:17]So, if you're good at a subject like English, math, science, music, or even language skills, you can offer tutoring sessions. Many parents are looking for ways to keep their kids productive during the summer break. So, even if it's just a few sessions per week, it can already give you extra income. And of course, beyond the money, tutoring also helps you strengthen your own knowledge, build communication skills, and gain confidence, as well as create a network of people that, you know, you can get to know, you can learn from, and even work with. Now, tutoring can be so easy if studying is something that comes naturally to you. And even if doesn't Put it more offer some more students now. Um grade one, grade kinder come patience for younger kids on teaching them how to read. It's something that's so easy. And the best part is like as somebody who has tried to teach her own children, I'm dummy available in a free resources online that you could just follow. But many owners simply don't have the time to manage their social media. And I will tell you a little secret. Okay, this is a secret from my heart that I'm just going to say for the first time now.

And maybe that looks like a more productive summer. Maybe that looks like a a summer that's filled with side hustles and side projects. Maybe that looks like getting a job at the cafe or teaching swimming to small children.
