But, Entertainment Weekly was the first to report that the scene starring the Euphoria and House Maid star has been cut from the final film. The actress played herself in a reported 3-minute scene that was part of the reintroduction of Emily Blunt's character early in the film. In the scene, Blunt's character was dressing a celebrity client, Sweeney. The scene reportedly did not mesh with the rest of the film's opening and was removed from the Disney film. Sweeney has been heavily discussed in recent weeks thanks to her provocative storyline in season 3 of Euphoria, with her character Cassie making OnlyFans content in order to pay for her dream wedding. She's also returned as the face of American Eagle jeans, which launched a new shorts campaign with the actress. Sweeney is coming off the success of the December hit The House Maid, which has grossed nearly $400 million globally for Lionsgate and quickly triggered a greenlit sequel. Disney and Sweeney's reps had no immediate comment. The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on May 1st.
