[00:09:53]>> Oh, man. Uh the past week been so busy.

[00:09:55]Uh Tuesday I went to the Fozzy concert.

[00:09:58]Uh Dex went last last time we went with me.

[00:10:03]>> That was a lot >> like from the Muppets.

[00:10:06]>> No. No. Uh so Chris Jericho the the pro wrestler >> Waka Waka Waka >> and it's called Fozzy. The original name was Fuzzy Osborne but they shortened it to Fozzy.

[00:10:19]>> Okay.

[00:10:20]>> Um and and Dex when we saw him we saw him in like a small uh bar. Um, I feel like th this place they they played underground arts was even a little smaller. Maybe about 200 people there, but it was fantastic. Like we were so close. Um, right up against the barrier.

[00:10:38]I got a bunch of great uh video and uh photos.

[00:10:42]>> Uh, so we did that uh Tuesday night.

[00:10:45]Thursday night we I we drove to uh Allentown for uh Cosmic Chili Peppers baseball. Uh, this is like in the same vein as Savannah Bananas, but their gimmick is they played baseball glow-in-the-dark at night.

[00:11:01]>> Um.

[00:11:01]>> Oh, wow.

[00:11:02]>> And it was amazing. Uh, the game started at 7:30, so it's just like, uh, normal normal baseball except they have their own rules. Like one inning, uh, foul territory was in play. So, they had their players up in the stands with you.

[00:11:16]And if the ball got hit to a fan, they had to quick relay it to a player uh because the the player the the batter was like grounding the bases still.

[00:11:25]>> They had another they had another >> another inning where they pulled the uno verse card. So they had to run the bases uh in reverse, third base, second base, first base home. Uh which was cool. But then once it became nighttime, they had all these black lights set up around the uh stadium and they turned the lights off and they had neon glowing uniforms.

[00:11:49]The baseball glowed. It was really cool.

[00:11:52]It It was quite an experience. Actually, right before we went live, I posted a vlog about it uh on the channel. So, uh feel free anyone in the chat if you want to check it out later, go check it out.

[00:12:02]But it it was a lot of fun. Uh we we had the VIP experience. We met uh we met both teams before the game. Uh they had co Cosmic Fest out on the concourse and then and then we had the game. Missy uh she got put on the big screen for trivia. They they asked her if she knew since it the stadium was Coca-Cola uh uh field and it was the home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. They asked if she knew what the uh the um like the symbol for iron was and she knew it without even getting multiple choice. It was Effie.

[00:12:38]So uh >> nice >> shout out to her. And then uh last night we went to uh Philadelphia Union soccer game and >> nice >> that was an experience. That's the first uh soccer game I've ever been to. And I kept saying to Missy, I can't believe so many people like soccer, >> dude. I I can't follow it either. Like, I don't know what's going on. I mean, the time and the way they add >> Oh my god. I was next to this I was sitting next to this soccer hole again.

[00:13:09]He was just yelling at this one player the entire game. He He looked up his middle name. He was calling him by his middle name. He knew he knew the referee's name. He was yelling at the referee and man I I don't you know I don't like interacting with people or anything and and he knew he was getting on my nerves but he tried to explain like everything to me and I was like I don't need I don't need to know why you're yelling at these people.

[00:13:35]>> Yeah. Right.

[00:13:37]For for the baseball hard to follow the ball like when it was glowing at night like >> Yeah. So once it became cosmic baseball, it was a little hard to follow, especially because it's so interactive.

[00:13:48]Like the entire time like the the players are throwing balls uh out to the to the fans. The right fielder during the middle of the game, he was having a catch with the the kids in the stands.

[00:14:00]So like we're watching that. Meanwhile, like people are running the bases. The game's going on. And I'm like, whoa, we got to pay attention. The game game's going on. Foul ball could be hit at us at any second.

[00:14:12]That's wild.

[00:14:13]>> It It was really It was really cool though. It was a lot of fun. Uh if if they came back, I would definitely do it again. But I think like I was amazed like this is the second year they came to Lehigh Valley. I was amazed about how many people like returned and they were wearing like Cosmic Chili Peppers gear.

[00:14:32]So like once the lights went off like they were part of the show because they were glowing. I was like, "Oh, if we ever do this again, we we need jerseys or t-shirts or something." So we can like fully uh be fully immersed in the the the game.

[00:14:46]>> Now are they in the Banana People league? Is that like a league?

[00:14:50]>> No. So it's something different. It's their it's their own league and it's just them and the other teams the glow emojis >> and they just they go touring all around the country much like Savannah Bananas but Savannah Bananas a little bigger than this.

[00:15:06]>> That's cool though. But yeah, I' I've noticed like a lot of these like um like e exhib ex exhibition baseball things are are popping up because there's this other league called boom ball where it's co-ed baseball. I I don't know what their their gimmick is. Maybe they use like uh aluminum bats or something. I don't know. But it's pretty cool. It was a lot of fun. I I would I definitely recommend it if you know if they come to you know if in the chat if they come to your area definitely go check it out.

[00:23:20]>> I I found I found out about it on uh on uh Twitter. Someone posted that uh Luno Alves uh had passed away and he's worked on with me on a on a couple projects and he was coloring uh Bounty Hunter and the Two Extreme Monster Trucks and he was almost done except I had not received any of the files uh yet because there was like corrections to be made. Um, and unfortunately I have no way to like I I I don't we we were just like uh you know a publisher colorist relationship. I don't know if he had any other like family or anything but very tragic. He he he was younger than than us Dex. He was I believe he was 48.

But um I I I I um had an artist uh that did some illustrations for my bounty hunter uh guide book and I asked him if he was uh available to to color um some some possibly an entire book and uh he he he said yeah he he would uh do it. Man, his his his colors are fantastic. I want to share a pinup he did for me.

I I wanted to like uh start doing some more monster truck stuff since I have these two books coming out. So, I've just been posting like videos I take at the events and stuff. And man, like the my YouTube uh numbers just like blew up. I had one video do like 20,000 views.

[00:28:36]>> Uh you know what? I didn't see it in a theater. So So I was I've never >> 2015. This was 2015, correct?

[00:28:44]>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm 100% sure, but I didn't see it at the theater. So, >> wait, when did Twilight come out?

[00:28:57]>> Yeah, because it vamp >> I just want to know if it was before or after this because like the vampires reminded me of the Twilight vampires.

[00:29:53]>> So, uh in this movie, it's a world where humans, vampires, and zombies all live together in this uh in this town. Um, I thought it was very uh clever, very uh Buffy the Vampire Slayeresque in a way.

[00:30:10]>> Um, and it just starts off, it basically starts off uh almost at the the end where our main character and his girl well the girlfriend, the girl that he has a crush on are running away from all these zombies and vampires and >> just mayhem. Yeah. cars on >> uh Penguin says in Ohio. Of course.

[00:30:37]Yeah. Uh Sheldon says uh about Twilight.

[00:30:40]Not because I know that he had to look it up. Sure. Sure. Uh Sheldon.

[00:30:45]>> I know you're a bigame >> big big fan of the sparkly vampires. Um, but uh then it does a rewind to the very beginning to start you off and and we meet our main character who has a crush on uh uh Vanessa Hudgens who um I I guess is is like the the school bad girl. Uh loose loose morals.

[00:31:12]>> Yeah, >> come on. We all had them in our our our high schools. Everybody had one. She was in love with the uh the vampires, right?

[00:31:22]>> Yeah. Yeah. So, there's also vampires that go to their school, zombies that go to the school. The zombies wear shock collars so they can't like bite uh people and uh >> Yeah. Like you said, >> it definitely had some like Disney zombies vibes, too.

[00:31:39]>> Yeah.

[00:31:40]>> Oh, yeah. Yeah, definitely. How they can talk and everything, you know, that kind of stuff. Yeah. And there was, as Moi pointed out, there's definitely a pecking order uh there. Zombies are like the lowest of the low. Um, vampires are very cool. The the main vampire, he is uh uh flirting with this girl who um she she wants him to be her first. And uh they have I I think there's a little miscommunication there because when they go to hook up, uh he doesn't want to sleep with her. he wants to bite her uh because she has very pale skin. Her veins are very uh you know they can be seen and they're just calling to him. Um so he he ends up convincing her uh to let him uh bite her and uh turn her into a vampire and once he bites her, of course he's he's done with her. He doesn't want her any anymore. Yeah, of course he pointed in that and uh ends up getting in a little uh altercation with that with him, right?

[00:32:47]>> Penguin says straight up racist against the zombies.

[00:32:52]>> Yeah. The zombies sort of have their own little like shanty town where they uh sit around and eat canned brains.

[00:33:01]>> Oh, is it? I I never saw it, but >> Oh, so Disney zombies is like very similar. So, takes place in high school.

[00:33:11]There's clicks. There's zombies, but they wear a shock collar or a bracelet.

[00:33:16]Um, and then they have their own little town, but then they they can integrate and go to school with the other kids.

[00:33:22]And then there's um there's uh vampires, werewolves, you know, aliens. Yeah, it it's very similar >> lawsuit to me.

[00:33:35]>> Mermaid I think mermaids are coming in the next one too. Yeah.

[00:33:38]>> Yeah. When did these zombies come out?

[00:33:40]Because that that is very similar.

So, our main character, he's in love with uh Vanessa Hudgens's character, and she uh comes to his house every night, and he thinks it's because she's into him, but that's where she stashes her weed, and she just comes there to to get it. And uh >> Yeah. Why does she need him holding her stash? I don't get it. But, you know, whatever. She could literally keep it anywhere. You know, it could be under a rock in the woods.

[00:35:15]>> Yeah. H she probably I think she likes uh uh leading him on.

[00:35:20]>> Yeah, she likes kind of controlling him.

[00:35:22]Yeah, that's what I thought too.

[00:35:25]>> So, um he he eventually I I think uh he's about to ask her out and his parents bust in and uh they they think he's um you know about to to have sex and they're very supportive of it.

[00:35:42]They're they're two like hippie stoner uh parents and he he's like no I'm just holding her weed for her and then they're really supportive of that because they're two ptheads and that's Joan Cusack and Bob Odenkirk.

[00:35:54]>> Yeah, that's great great character.

[00:35:56]>> So they start hitting at one point like oh you're going through changes and when it happens it's going to hit you. Uh that's like uh they're for you know foreshadowing to what's to happen at the ending of the movie. But um >> meanwhile um I I forget like how does how does this even like oh like the because the zombies and the the the vampires they end up like plotting against each other because everyone hates everyone and they end up calling out an allout war >> but in the middle of it aliens invade them.

[00:36:31]>> Aliens land. Yeah. And they're like what? Well, it's like humans are gathering everybody. You know, the zombie >> the vampire >> a penguin. I I thought the exact the same thing. I legit thought Bob Odenkirk was Jason Lee for a minute. So did I.

[00:36:49]>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:36:51]>> Yeah. Have you guys seen the Bob Odenkirk movies? The Nobody movies?

[00:36:56]>> I saw the first one. I loved it. Yeah.

[00:36:58]>> Yeah. The second one's even better. I mean, not even better, but it's also good. like it uh >> he takes the family on a vacation. So it's like >> you know that environment is fun.

[00:37:09]>> So the the aliens are there because this town is known for the the riblelet which is this like >> the riblelet. In the opening shot you see the sign of the town. It says >> Yeah. Yeah.

[00:37:20]>> It's this like processed rib meat and uh Dennis Lir's character. He's the uh the owner of this company and it's basically the lifeblood of this town. Everyone either, you know, they work at the riblelet factory or they're a zombie basically.

[00:37:38]>> Yeah.

[00:37:38]>> And the aliens, they want the they want this chemical that's in the riblelet meat that keeps it, I guess, uh, fresh.

[00:37:46]>> Preserved. Yeah. It's like >> pres.

[00:37:50]>> Yeah. We didn't find that out till later on, but like why >> at the end?

[00:37:54]>> Yeah. Because >> Yeah. But when the when >> and all the the the zombies and vampires and humans, but we didn't know what was happening to them. They were like zapping them, you know, another place or >> so when the aliens show up, they start uh taking all the humans. We don't we don't know what's happening to them. Uh Dexter got take over. I go I need to go get a drink.

[00:38:18]But then um I guess what the they're yeah they're taking over the whole town and zapping everybody, but nobody knows what's going on. So everyone's disappearing.

[00:38:27]>> Um and then basically there's only the what? There's only the three left in Rico. There was a >> Yeah.

[00:38:35]>> Yeah. The one they're all friends, the vampire, the chick, you know, the human guy, and then the zombie dude. Yeah, we got to backtrack a little bit because like the one kid comes from a family of um you know like like sort of a dysfunctional family and he goes he wants he becomes a zombie like on purpose. He has this zombie girl that he likes bite him and he becomes the zombie but he's part of the click and then you have the girl that became the vampire because the one guy fed on her. So you have like the main character and of the the movie plus you have the >> the zombie kid that I just described and the girl with the uh it's the vampire.

[00:39:13]So yeah, that's like the trio, right?

[00:39:15]>> That guy wanted to be a zombie because that he was talking to the one zombie girl. She was like they don't feel anything. They have no feelings. It's just like >> Yeah. So he wanted to be like that because of his I guess his life or whatever.

[00:39:26]>> It was like family life and stuff. Yeah.

[00:39:28]>> You feel bad. So now they move on to this house. I guess his old piano teacher with with Pat >> Patton Oswald, right?

[00:39:36]>> I mean, I kind of felt bad because they were safe in the basement and then he basically like lures like he's you know, hey, let let us in, let us in. And then he asks him all these questions and he obviously that was a running joke about him craping his pants or something, but then they let him down in the basement and they kill him. You know, it's a spoiler. Oh, so yeah, we never explained his uh his former best friend is uh is uh like a a nerd and he's brothers with like the high school jock and >> Oh yeah, I just went over that. But yeah, you can recap.

[00:40:15]>> And he he killed Pat as well.

[00:40:19]>> Didn't you feel bad though? I mean like these people let him down there. They're like, "Okay, yeah, you can come down here." Yeah. Next, you know, they stomp them, you know, they all like feasting on them and everything. So, I thought, well, but it was kind of funny, but I kind of felt bad, too. [00:41:19]So they were starving the friends so he could become smarter so he could figure out a way to save them.

[00:41:31]>> So uh uh so eventually they realized that the the aliens can only uh see them because they're wearing clothes. They can't see >> Oh yeah.

[00:41:44]>> Yeah, >> that's I forgot about that. Yeah. in.

[00:41:47]Yeah, they have to wear fully organic cotton clothes so they can be invisible to the aliens.

[00:41:52]>> They they were running outside from the alien that got in the basement and then the vampire chick was like burning up so he took his clothes off to help her and then that's when the alien came up behind them and that I guess they couldn't see him. Is that is that what it was?

[00:42:06]>> Yeah.

[00:42:06]>> Yeah. So now they're running around >> and the zombie gets uh he gets uh taken, but they kill uh they kill the alien before he can be fully transported to where they're keeping all the other humans. And they they just dropped him off at like some uh fast food uh place.

[00:42:25]So they think he's dead and they're mourning him and then he shows up. Uh he he walked back.

[00:42:33]>> There's a lot of funny moments in it. Um I I don't know. I I I really liked it. I watched it with Missy. She was sort of half paying attention. She thought it was stupid, but I I don't know. I liked it.

[00:42:44]>> I thought it was >> I thought I thought it was charming.

[00:42:46]Like it had good parts for sure. I liked it.

[00:42:48]>> Ju just the fact of vampires, zombies, aliens, I'm in, you know, just anything with all that combination of things. You know, we didn't get to the end yet, which is kind of cool. That was a little little extra surprise. You know, >> I saw that coming a mile away. I'm sure you guys did too, though.

[00:43:49]So, uh, once they realize they can they can, uh, not be seen, um, uh, when they're wearing, I guess, organic clothing, um, they, uh, they start to make their their plan. They They figure out, don't they, that the, oh, the, um, the zombie, he figured out when he was abducted that the aliens want that chemical that's in the rib.

[00:44:15]>> Yeah. So, so they go to talk to Dennis Liry at at the Rible factory and again they uh while they're talking to him, the zombies been starving.

[00:44:30]>> Yeah.

[00:44:30]>> For days, he eats Dennis Lir's wife.

[00:44:37]>> So now Dennis Liry won't help them.

[00:44:40]>> Yeah.

[00:44:43]So uh >> so then >> then they figure out well abucted you know we'll all because basically the guy the human guy wanted to see his family his mother and father again. So >> so they figured out oh well if we get like zapped by these aliens that's hopefully they'll zap us to the same place where those people are. And sure enough, it was. But but they separated >> they separated the vampires, they separated the the zombies and separated the humans with these I guess electrified walls or something like that.

[00:45:12]>> Yeah.

[00:45:15]>> Oh, we got uh PB and J Street gang in the house. What's up?

[00:45:20]>> What's up PB and J?

[00:45:25]>> Yeah. So then I guess they were what trying to figure out how to break the walls down. So, of course, they go to their their smartest zombie in the in the town to figure it out, which which is cool. Once again, there's a lot of foreshadow in this movie. So, >> yeah. Uh Sheldon says Dennis Larry didn't want to help them before the secretary got eaten. He wanted some kind of compensation.

[00:45:46]>> That's true, too. Yeah.

[00:45:48]>> But that, you know, all the foreshadowing because they were showing like the zombie kid as a kid trying to catch that baseball, remember, like coming down and all.

[00:45:55]>> Yeah. Yeah, >> there's a lot like So, >> so they figure if they all run at the force field at the same time, it'll break the force field and that's how they escape and then they go to the Riblelet factory, I guess, plead their case to uh to Dennis Liry and they're telling him he's going to be a hero.

[00:46:14]He'll probably get like a statue.

[00:46:17]>> Um Right.

[00:46:18]>> Pump them. Yeah. Pump >> everybody wants a statue.

[00:46:21]>> Yeah.

[00:46:23]Um, and then uh I forget >> No, no, they let the aliens in and then they they feed on that stuff, whatever.

[00:46:35]And everyone's like throwing up >> thinking that when he shows what it's really made out of.

[00:46:42]So the the aliens, they didn't originally they were like we we weren't uh like we didn't come in violence like you guys just started attack like uh attacking us. We just wanted the uh >> the uh the chemical and they were like how are we supposed to know? You guys are like really scary.

[00:47:02]>> So then when they >> Wait, what's the thing with them? They they shot they shot the aliens in water or what was that again? I for I forget.

[00:47:10]wet the >> wet them down or something that part >> like the they had the exoskeleton things and they pop these little >> and they come out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:47:21]>> And then they all hop.

[00:47:22]>> Yeah. Yeah. The little the little crang looking guys.

[00:47:25]>> Yeah. Little cute.

[00:47:28]Yeah.

[00:47:30]So then when Yeah. Then they hop in that that vat of whatever that crap is and they become this huge big alien, you know, and he starts telling them about all the their their plans and everything.

[00:47:41]>> Yeah.

[00:47:43]>> Basically, everyone was like, "F you."

[00:47:45]Like >> when he threw that wrench out, he was like, "F you, man." You know, like nobody believed the alien said.

[00:47:56]And then and then the alien just got pissed. He was like, "F this, man." And he was like, "F you guys."

[00:48:01]>> Started killing people.

[00:48:02]>> Yeah. I don't know. How did they figure out the water thing? I I didn't get that part. Like >> they just started squirting it or like I don't I don't I missed it. Yeah. I just I just saw him getting uh hosed down basically.

[00:48:15]>> Yeah. Penguin knows.

[00:48:17]>> But uh they end up uh defeating the the aliens and they all like live uh in harmony together. You see what happens? Like Vanessa Hudins's character actually uh she becomes a a vampire.

[00:48:32]>> Vampire. Yeah.

[00:48:33]>> Yeah. And uh our main character ends up with the the other vampire girl.

[00:48:39]>> He left out the part when the guy transformed when he you know he basically he's a werewolf. So they're like werewolf.

[00:48:45]>> Oh, right. Right.

[00:48:46]>> Oh, right. Yeah. That's what happens at the end with the when they have the big fight with the bad vampire guy.

[00:48:51]>> Yeah. I thought that like that was the weakest the the werewolf makeup. That was probably like the weakest thing in the movie.

[00:48:58]>> Yeah, it could have been.

[00:49:00]>> He was like Teen Wolf basically.

[00:49:02]>> Yeah, I was gonna say it reminded me there used to be a show on uh uh ABC Family uh channel called uh Big Wolf on Campus. I don't know if everyone anyone watched that. I did because Corey Haye made a cameo appearance in an episode.

[00:49:16]>> Nice, >> but uh it reminded me very much of that.

[00:49:21]>> Yeah.

[00:49:22]>> Oh, uh uh Sham says it was Ammonia.

[00:49:24]Ammonia was coming out of the hose for some reason that hit the alien and then they all started spraying him.

[00:49:30]>> Oh, okay.

[00:49:31]>> Penguin says, "I think the fight the the pipe just burst or something and they saw it flinch from it."

[00:49:37]>> Okay.

[00:49:38]>> What's one more?

[00:49:40]>> Remember the mom said, "Oh, I I used a hose to spray ammonia on this stuff."

[00:49:44]>> Yeah.

[00:49:45]>> One the mom said that earlier in the movie. So >> So thank God for the chat or we wouldn't understand these movies. Oh, we need the chat for that stuff, man.

[00:49:56]>> So, the other foreshadowing was once.

[00:49:58]So, when the alien got shrunk down from all the ammonia, he was like, "F you guys." He goes back to his ship, drops a bomb on him, and then that's where foreshadowed the the zombie kid catching like the ball and then he catches it, throws it to the werewolf guy who happened to be a pitcher, you know, takes it and throws.

[00:50:15]>> He's like, "F you." There's a lot of like fus in their scene. So, >> uh, John, >> well, that's what you have because when when that that's a good call back because in the beginning he um >> he was starting to get his powers as wolf powers a little bit, remember? And that's why he hit his friend's brother in the face with the ball >> and like jacked him up. Yeah, >> exactly. Yeah.

[00:50:42]>> The aliens are like, "We didn't start the fire. It was always burning.
