This video treats basic middle-school arithmetic as a profound intellectual challenge, capitalizing on the internet's strange obsession with PEMDAS. It is less an educational breakthrough and more a reminder of how low the bar for "problem-solving" has fallen.

Can You Solve This Simple Maths Problem ?Hinzugefügt:
Hello. You're welcome to solve this math problem of 4 squared divided by 2 bracket inside there's -2 - 6 / 3.
Now, to solve this problem, before we solve it, you can pause the video and comment your answer.
Please like and subscribe also.
Now, let's start to solve it.
We'll solve by using this problem of orders of operation. We'll solve by using the rule which is called PEMDAS.
So, follow these orders from left to right.
Now, P is parenthesis.
Here into our problem, we have parenthesis.
But the operation inside there's no operation inside the parenthesis. It's just -2.
Then here, E exponents.
E exponent, we have this exponent here.
So, this we'll deal with this exponent as the first step. You have a group of multiplication and division according to which start first.
Into our problem, we start with division, then this multiplication between 2 and this -2, we have multiplication.
So, this will be the second step. Here we have this division here, so it will be the So, negative division, multiplication, division. So, here division will be the second step.
Multiplication will be the third step.
And then we have division as the fourth step.
Here, a group of addition and subtraction according to which start first.
Now, no addition into our problem. We have subtraction, which is this here.
So, subtraction will be the fifth step.
Now, let's start to solve this our problem.
We start by this here, which is exponent as the first step.
Of 4 squared, 4 squared it is 16.
Then divided by 2 bracket -2 bracket minus 6 / 3.
Then the second step is division.
Whereas it's in division and multiplication, it starts with division.
Then multiplication, then this division.
So, here we'll do this division here.
Of 16 / 2, it is 8.
Then times this -2.
Then minus 6 / 3.
Then here, the third step is multiplication. We have 8 times -2. 8 * -2 is -16.
Then minus 6 / 3.
Then the fourth step is division here.
This division.
Of 6 / 3.
It will be -16 minus 6 / 3, it is 2.
Or -6 / 3, it is -2.
Then the last step is subtraction.
Of -6 - 2 is -18.
So, this is our final answer.
Now, here from this our problem, we can solve in another method.
Now, from our problem, which is 4 It is 4 squared, 4 squared divided by 2 -2.
So, here divided by 2 bracket -2 bracket.
Then minus 6 / 3.
So, here minus 6 divided by 3.
So, into here, we'll solve by using the rule which is called BODMAS.
BOD MAS.
Comment your answer. Which method did you use? PEMDAS or BODMAS?
Now, B bracket. Here, this bracket is just -2. No operation inside the bracket.
O order or exponents. Whereas we have this order or exponents. So, it will be the first step.
D division. We have this division here and this division here. So, it will be the second step. Whereas we have two divisions.
M multiplication. We have this multiplication here, 2 and this bracket -2. It will be the third step.
A addition. No addition. Subtraction.
We have this subtraction here. So, it will be the fourth step.
Now, order or exponents of 4 squared, 4 squared it is 16 / 2 bracket -2 bracket minus 6 / 3.
We already with order. Now, division. We have this division here and this division here.
Of 16 / 2, it is 8. Then bracket times this here, which is -2 inside the bracket.
Then minus 6 / 3, it is 2.
Then here, we already with two divisions. Now, the third step will be multiplication.
Of 8 * -2.
8 * -2 is -16 2.
Then the last step is subtraction. Of -6 minus -16 - 2 is -18.
So, this is our final answer. Same as the answer in the first solution.
