Letting Go of Something That Isn’t Broken

[00:00:01]Sometimes the hardest things to let go of are not things that are broken, but things that are still good.

[00:00:11]I recently moved through an experience that changed the way I understand endings, alignment, and embodied knowing.

[00:00:31]There's something I've been moving through recently that honestly surprised me.

[00:00:35]And in many ways, I think it changed me.

[00:00:39]For probably the last 6 months, maybe longer, there's been this reoccurring feeling moving through my awareness.

[00:00:46]This subtle, persistent sense that certain things in my life were ending.

[00:00:52]Not because they were bad, not because they were failing, not because something dramatic had happened, but simply because something in me was changing.

[00:01:05]And I think this is one of the hardest things for us as humans.

[00:01:09]Because once we build something, once we create something, once we work hard for something, once something becomes familiar and safe and loved, there's a part of us that naturally wants to hold on to it.

[00:01:22]We want to preserve it, maintain it, keep it going.

[00:01:27]Especially if it's meaningful, especially if people value it, especially if it's working.

[00:01:35]And so, every few months, this thought would come back into my awareness.

[00:01:40]Maybe this is complete.

[00:01:42]Maybe this has run its course.

[00:01:45]Maybe it's time.

[00:01:47]And every single time, something would happen that would pull me back in.

[00:01:53]Some new realization, some fresh energy, some beautiful interaction, some reminder of how much love existed within these spaces and communities I had created.

[00:02:05]And so I'd think, "Oh, good. Okay.

[00:02:09]I got over whatever that was."

[00:02:11]And I'd continue on.

[00:02:14]But then slowly over time, the pressure would build again.

[00:02:19]And what's fascinating is that I started realizing it almost felt like my soul was working in waves.

[00:02:26]Like every time I integrated a layer, the pressure would temporary release.

[00:02:34]Almost like, "Okay, good. She's got that piece.

[00:02:37]Good.

[00:02:38]We can ease up for now."

[00:02:41]And then when I wouldn't fully act on it, when I'd stay where I was, the pressure would slowly build again.

[00:02:49]And I think many of us experience this.

[00:02:52]These cycles, these loops, these repeated thoughts that continue returning.

[00:02:59]Not necessarily because we're doing something wrong, but because there's another layer asking to be seen.

[00:03:06]And through all of this, I kept working on new creations, new projects, new ideas, new things trying to emerge.

[00:03:14]But every single time I would move forward bringing them fully into the world, the energy would stop.

[00:03:22]Dead.

[00:03:24]And then I'd move through another realization, another layer, another insight. And eventually I started understanding something.

[00:03:32]What was trying to be born did not want to be born from my old energy.

[00:03:38]It didn't want to emerge from old patterns, old consciousness, old scarcity, old worthiness wounds, old ways of relating to service and value and giving.

[00:03:49]It was as though the creations themselves were waiting.

[00:03:54]Waiting for me to become the version of myself capable of holding them differently.

[00:03:59]And that changed the way I saw creative blocks entirely.

[00:04:03]Because suddenly it didn't feel like failure. It felt like preparation.

[00:04:08]Like life itself was saying, "No, not from here. Not from this version of you.

[00:04:15]There's another level still unfolding."

[00:04:20]And so I began making small changes, tiny energetic shifts. I updated things, removed things, changed offers, adjusted expectations, became more aware of my boundaries, more aware of my own energy.

[00:04:38]And each little shift created a little more space.

[00:04:44]But still, there were larger things I wasn't ready to let go of yet.

[00:04:51]And what I remember saying to myself was this.

[00:04:55]I know I'll receive the exact conversation, the exact message, the exact insight, the exact piece of literature that that will illuminate the next thing that needs to shift.

[00:05:07]And that's exactly what happened.

[00:05:11]Because one morning, I woke up and I heard incredibly clearly, "This is the last call."

[00:05:21]Referring to a weekly call I've been holding for four and a half years.

[00:05:26]And naturally, my mind immediately responded, "What? Really?"

[00:05:32]But then it came again.

[00:05:33]"This is the last call.

[00:05:36]Today is the last call."

[00:05:40]And what was so extraordinary about this moment was not just the message itself.

[00:05:47]It was the texture of it, the clarity of it.

[00:05:50]There was no emotional charge, no spiraling, no panic, no convincing.

[00:05:56]It was neutral, direct, simple.

[00:06:01]And there was no question.

[00:06:04]And that was new for me.

[00:06:06]Because I think many of us who are intuitive, many of us who connect deeply, still question ourselves sometimes.

[00:06:13]Am I making this up? Am I just telling myself what I want to hear? Is this really true?

[00:06:19]But this was different.

[00:06:21]This cut through all of that.

[00:06:24]And even though a small part of me was shocked, there was another part of me that already knew. It was done.

[00:06:32]And immediately the image of the eight of cups came into my awareness.

[00:06:38]Walking away from eight full cups. Not empty cups, not broken cups, full cups.

[00:06:44]Things that worked, things that mattered, things that people loved, and still walking away.

[00:06:50]Not because something had failed, but because something else was calling.

[00:06:56]And that's such a different kind of ending.

[00:07:00]Because I think many of us only give ourselves permission to leave when something becomes unbearable.

[00:07:06]When we're exhausted, burned out, resentful, broken.

[00:07:10]But what if we were allowed to leave simply because something no longer feels fully aligned?

[00:07:17]What if completion doesn't always look like destruction?

[00:07:21]And this is where it became deeply personal for me.

[00:07:25]Because I love the people connected to these spaces.

[00:07:29]I love what we've created together.

[00:07:33]There was safety there for me, too.

[00:07:35]Connection there for me, too.

[00:07:37]And when I announced that it was the final call, it was emotional.

[00:07:43]There was grief.

[00:07:45]There was sadness.

[00:07:47]There was loss.

[00:07:49]And later that afternoon, I remember sitting there thinking, "Oh my god, what have I done?"

[00:07:58]And yet right beside that feeling was another presence, another knowing quietly saying, "This was the right decision.

[00:08:09]You're okay. Just wait and see."

[00:08:13]And I think this is where embodied knowing becomes really important.

[00:08:17]Because embodied knowing does not mean you don't feel grief.

[00:08:23]It doesn't mean things are emotionally easy.

[00:08:27]It means that underneath the emotions, there is still clarity. There's still truth.

[00:08:33]And one of the deeper things I've been realizing through all of this is that part of my own growth has involved understanding that my experience matters, too.

[00:08:43]That how something feels to me matters, too.

[00:08:47]That I don't need to continue something solely because it supports someone else if it's no longer alive within me in the same way.

[00:08:57]And that's hard for many of us, especially those of us who naturally give, support, care, hold space.

[00:09:05]Because sometimes we unconsciously learn that our value comes through service, through being needed, through continuing.

[00:09:14]And this process has really asked me to look at that, to ask, "Am I doing this because it genuinely enlivens me?

[00:09:24]Or because part of me feels responsible?"

[00:09:27]And there's no blame in that, no villain in that.

[00:09:30]This isn't about anyone doing anything wrong.

[00:09:33]It's about recognizing when our own soul is evolving beyond the energetic architecture we've been living inside of.

[00:09:42]And allowing ourselves to listen.

[00:09:46]Not because someone else tells us to.

[00:09:49]Not because spirituality says we should.

[00:09:52]Not because some external teaching says expansion requires destruction.

[00:09:58]But because somewhere inside ourselves, we simply know.

[00:10:04]And until that knowing arrives, maybe there's still another layer unfolding.

[00:10:10]Another insight, another conversation, another realization.

[00:10:16]But when it truly lands, there is no question.

[00:10:22]And maybe that's what I really wanted to share today.

[00:10:26]That sometimes it's okay to let go of something even when it isn't broken.

[00:11:01]A part of you that keeps nudging at the edge of change.

[00:11:05]And rather than rushing to fix it or force an answer, maybe just sit with it.

[00:11:12]Maybe ask yourself, "What is this trying to show me?

[00:11:17]What part of me is evolving here?

[00:11:21]What would it feel like to trust my own timing?"

[00:11:25]And maybe most importantly, can you allow yourself to know that endings are not always failures?

[00:11:32]Sometimes they are simply the soul making space for what comes next.

[00:11:39]And wherever you find yourself right now in your own unfolding, I hope this reminds you that your inner knowing is not something outside of you.

[00:11:49]It lives within your body, within your truth, within the quiet places that already know.

[00:11:56]And maybe you don't need to force the next step.

[00:11:59]Maybe you simply need to keep listening.
