Fox attempts to transform a musical reaction into a profound ethical inquiry, yet merely restates a standard "slippery slope" argument against political violence. It is a quintessential example of over-intellectualizing pop culture to create an illusion of academic depth.

HE'S... not dead? | ACT 1 FINALE of Nerdy Prudes Must Die REACTION/ANALYSIS
Added:I'm going to mentally prepare myself for what I'm about to see.
>> You [ __ ] >> Oh, thank God.
>> Were you killed?
>> Sadly, yes. But I lived.
>> Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Casper Fox channel. My name is Casper Fox and today we are back with Star Kids Nerdy Prudes must die. I keep saying prunes because I'm stupid, but you know, we ball. The only thing is I'm metagaming a little bit is that I know that we had to censor this. If you guys don't know, I have kinomorphophobia, which is the irrational view of zombies and the undead. And I was told that a visual in this musical might trigger that. Um, so my trusty editor, Roger, thanks Roger, I appreciate you, by the way, he did the really, really cool thing and actually censored it for me so that I could watch it without it triggering my phobia, which is very, very, very nice. So, I'm imagining he's probably going to come back to life. Uh, and it also makes sense with what we saw in the intro with the guy who was killed in a bully way with the So yeah, that's going to be really, really exciting. This is actually the act one finale. We obviously still have this one and then four more episodes of Nerdy Pruce Must Die and then we will be moving on to at the moment it is Cinderella's Castle and I'm pretty sure that is what we're sticking with. So, if you're watching this right now, Cinderella's Castle is probably already over on Patreon. Nerdy Prutes Must Die has been on Patreon since May. So, we're very, very far ahead over on Patreon. if you want to come join us. It's the best way to support the channel. But anyway, um and subscribe too. That's also really cool. Anyway, thank you so much for clicking on our video. I think that without further ado, let's get into the act one finale of Nerdy Prudes Must Die with these songs. Let's do it.
>> And Donna, >> it's been two weeks since the disappearance of local football star Maxwell Jaggerman.
>> This soundtrack is giving me Heathers.
Like, straight up. straight up.
>> And the teen's whereabouts still remain a mystery.
>> No one checked that his phone had an invite in invitation to a party to this sketchy nonup to code building in the city.
>> Earlier today at city hall, Mayor Solomon Lauder issued this statement.
>> I have made every possible resource available to the coach of the Hatchetfield Night Hawks. I will not let the disappearance of one boy affect our team's performance in the big game.
That's I mean I'd say that's pretty unrealistic but then again it's America.
You never know.
>> The Nighthawks will take the field tonight and they will win.
>> Go Nighthawks.
>> Go Nighthawks.
>> They bring some comfort to Max's classmates who have already endured two weeks of heartache.
>> Okay. So it's like a it's like a a time jump. I hear kissing which is terrifying. Okay. Interesting. I wonder why they didn't have his death as the act one finale cuz this feels like way more of a like of like what would be an act one to act two transition in that regard. Right.
This has been the best two weeks of my life. Who would have thought the absence of one negative influence could make us all so much happier?
I mean, great, but also um let's say wrong method, right result. Maybe >> cheering takes just as much skill as football does. Sometimes I think you're the main event and we're just there to support you gals.
>> Bro, this is the CEO of feminism right here, man. He's going to have a talk with the inventor of periods as well.
No, I'm kidding. I actually do wonder. I would love to hear you guys' thoughts because that culture is not really something I grew up with. Like we didn't have school teams or anything. I guess we did, but it wasn't like as extreme as like American like ehant teams and stuff like that. How do you see the like like how what is the dynamic between cheer teams and football teams and stuff like that? Is it like do they have that mutual respect or is there a disrespect that like cheerleaders are just the pause entertaining or there's a dis like a football is just you know a stupid game like like I I wonder what the dynamic is in reality for for Americ because I was actually I remember on Patreon I was like questioning the legitimacy of like this bully delay like no one's like no teachers are are helping and stuff like that over America was like does that actually happen and there were actually a lot of people like like it's not as like there was a comment that said it's not as flamboyant which I got a good laugh about. But apparently it does happen to that severity, which I think is very interesting. Also just shows how much I don't know about American culture.
>> Listen to your friends.
>> Yeah, but he forbade me from dating and he wrecked my dad's skoo.
>> Thank you so much, Roger.
>> [ __ ] that guy.
>> Will you pass the test with flying color?
>> A C plus Steph.
>> Okay. Yeah, >> that's amazing. My dad couldn't believe it. Got my phone back and everything.
>> Please don't ditch Pete now. Don't ditch Pete now. Because the first thing a blind man does if his vision was to be restored is throw away the cane he has relied on his entire life. That quote really sticks with you, doesn't it? So, I hope that's not the case here.
>> This is really your C+.
>> Oh, Steph, you can keep it.
>> It'd really bring down my GPA.
You're such a nerd, Sakovski.
>> Wow.
That's the first time anyone's called me a nerd since >> Jagger >> that night.
>> Steph, I'm trying to feel bad about what we did. But it is really hard to do that when everything is objectively better.
>> Yeah, this isn't great. I mean, they do look pretty happy, don't they? It's not.
Um, but I don't I don't know. I feel like if you open up like and that that's why like also a lot of people will talk about like various assassination attempts of people in power and stuff like that like no we should just like I just kill him off and da da but to me like even no matter how bad a person is once you open that door to the fact that like like if we legitimize that it is it is an actual thing in the world that people will just you know kill people in power take that power cool all that [ __ ] you know but there's a lot of people especially in in in in the west that are like oh I disagree with this uh like leader d and even though that all all the arguments line up to like, yeah, okay, maybe it would be better if that person snuffed it or whatever, right?
You don't know what you're opening the door to because then you're basically opening the door to the idea that if you don't agree with a person, it is morally okay to just take them out, you know?
And I don't like having that door opened in that regard, right? So, even though here that cuz this is like this is where the dilemma is and like as he says, I'm really trying to feel bad about it, but it's really hard to do when everything is objectively better. It's really interesting to discuss, you know, and it really opens the door. Like I can't believe Star Kid is the one that like sparks that debate here. I think that's absolutely incredible.
>> You going to the big game tonight?
>> Oh no. Joergerman doesn't let nerds go to football.
>> Huh?
>> Why? More cheering.
>> You know, maybe I will.
>> We could go sarcastically.
>> Okay, bro.
>> You know, get some popcorn.
Might be cool.
>> You mean like go together? Yeah, >> if you want.
>> Cute.
>> Okay.
Okay, cool.
I'll see you there.
>> Yeah. Yeah, I'll see you there.
>> And then he's going to start singing, I have a hot date. And then do some nerd probably.
>> Wow, the trees are greener.
>> No, >> the sun's brighter.
>> Might just be summer.
>> I'm going to the big game.
>> Nice one, man. [ __ ] yeah.
>> Can't swear.
>> Go Nighthawks.
>> It's like the first day of school.
>> It up.
>> Hey.
>> Hey Ruth.
>> So full of life.
>> Hey Ruth, your head gear is fire today.
>> Thanks.
>> It's like the start of a new year. Got a resolution to social climb.
>> Want to take your swim team and go to class on time?
>> You're early today, Vulch. I never thought I could open up my locker without the fear running through me.
>> I love love love that resolution save.
We are leaders and the royals.
Everyone >> whip you with a saturated.
Yeah. Okay. That is something that will happen in the locker rooms. Man, I'm not going to tell that story, but yeah, I've experienced that and it burns.
>> We're all giving the butt slaps. here with consent. Of course, does we care?
There's a trust in the locker room.
We're taking back the hall.
>> I never thought I could walk into a bathroom without the fear of >> E.
I didn't know that was called a swirly.
Oh my god, there's a mascot. Who's in the mascot?
Pause. Who has the mascot costume on?
>> A little friend there.
High school. And now I know. Now I know.
S I T H.
>> You did that on purpose, Roger. You did that on purpose, Roger.
I don't know if we can put that in the video. Anyway, u this lowkey feels like like a showstopper to me. I don't know.
I mean, there's probably an AU where, you know, Max Jaggerman stays dead, but this is literally the act one finale, so I'm sure he's not.
Ah a n i g H T AH a >> I see. That's very clever, Jeff Bloom.
>> N it up.
I'm like reading the back with all this Jagger man graffiti and it's pretty scary. 910 He's the Jagger man. It says all hail German. Get it?
>> And now welcome tonight's >> Cliveale.
>> Cliveale.
Get up.
>> WA.
SICK. I mean, like if if this was like the introduction performance or like a pause performance from like for a for a game for even if it was like an egghand hand egg game, you know? Peak.
>> Who's ready to cream some chem?
>> Pause.
>> I can't explain how proud I am of this team, >> man.
You know what? We're not even going to go there.
>> Zeke the fighting nighthawk.
>> Yeah, Zeke.
>> A Get over here.
>> Really?
>> What?
>> You want me in the huddle?
>> We don't want you here. We need you here.
>> I'm so sorry if I forgot that he was that. I felt like that was a big reveal.
>> Wow.
>> Cute.
>> Ritzie, we're sorry for bullying you for all those years.
>> Yeah. Sorry, >> bro.
>> We'd like to apologize in advance for if Max ever comes back, cuz we'll probably go right back to doing it.
>> Why would he come back, though? Like, I know, but like why?
>> I don't think we'll have to worry about Max ever again.
>> Oh my goodness gracious.
>> Well, just speak it into existence, will you?
>> Now, what I'm about to say might sound like bullying, but I promise you it's not. What is it?
>> We appreciate you warming up the crowd and everything, but now we'd love for you to take a shower and air out that suit cuz you smell like an open [ __ ] right now >> as opposed to a closed [ __ ] >> Thanks.
>> None taken. I have overactive sweat glands.
>> Yeah, me too.
>> We understand. We support and love you, but you [ __ ] weak, man.
>> I want like a solo mascot song right now.
>> Fuckale straight to hell.
>> That's what I'm saying.
Don't cheer at that.
You're next. I hate that.
>> For the first time.
>> Careful of your mic, buddy.
>> I feel like I belong.
>> I I've I feel like That's very cute. I also wonder if there was at any point where he actually had the mic get caught in something and then you know just kind of Yeah.
>> I love being alive.
>> A >> Oh you you >> Richie.
>> Oh no.
>> Richie the first to go. You're next.
>> You promised you wouldn't bully.
>> Watch your back.
>> Remember what you said.
>> You're next. Oh, I remember what I >> Oh, no. Is this >> Do you >> Give me just a second. I'm going to mentally prepare myself for what I'm about to see.
>> You [ __ ] nerd.
>> Oh, thank God. Thank you, Roger. Holy sh Oh my god. Thank you, Roger. My goodness gracious. Thank you, Roger. Holy holy.
Holy sh Thank you, Roger.
>> No more Mr. Nice Guy.
>> You've literally never been Mr. Nice Guy.
>> No.
Oh, the lighting.
>> I I'm I mean, okay, here's the thing.
Con, terrifying as [ __ ] Zombie, terrifying as [ __ ] Zombie, scary. Pros was back and that counts for like 11.
So, overall, W. I hope we get a little bit of detailing into why he's back. Um, but yeah, man.
Can Stark stop making zombie musicals, please? No, I'm kidding.
>> You'd get away. The hallway safe, that I won't break you.
You can see I'm much improved.
That ain't good news for you, you [ __ ] Cuz I got a list and you're on it. Whoa.
Whoa. Does the math club comfort you?
SHOULD I JOIN THE SMOKE? YOU nerdy proof.
>> He says, I understand why they cheer, bro. He's phenomenal. You want like and the thing is like something that that I really really get to appreciate. And and again, uh I'm sorry if this takes away from your reaction analysis experience of this, but I already did like um I did a show called Vox Machina where the zombies are as zombie as they can be. I still have nightmares about that and it's been almost like 2 years since I started that show. So I am not going to sacrifice my mental health and my sleep for that. My phobia is very severe. So I hope you guys can can can bear with me in in in that regard. What I was saying is that with the even with the blurring, you can just tell the stage presence and the body language. Like I can't see his facial expressions obviously, but I can I can see the body language through the blur. And it is just so phenomenal that all these like isolations in his body, especially with his arms and upper torso here. It's incredible that Will has the ability to do that, you know? Like I remember saying in one of the first like why isn't this guy on Broadway? He can go toe-to-toe with with many Broadway stars. And my patron comments were all like, "Casper, he is a Broadway star."
Apparently, he is in Back to the Future, which I did not know had a musical. I haven't seen the movie, but I know it's about time stuff, right? So, pretty cool, man. Well, if you're watching this, and I know you're not, good job, MAN.
>> Is this the title song?
>> Will threat will be my prize.
He's running away in the crowd.
>> You think I seek?
>> Oh my god. Did he close the doors?
>> You pushed me off the edge.
I'm on a new crusade.
>> The world is just too well behaved.
>> Oh yeah.
And you're too weak to be enslaved.
>> You're too weak to be enslaved, bro. Out of all the villain songs I've heard in Star Kid, man, this one is probably the best written one in my opinion. Like it it is it is incredible to me that it's Jeff Blim, you know, Aladdin from Twisted, General Magnamera himself is the one writing this, which is just incredible. SO I'M ASSUMING YEAH, >> I assume this is a title song.
Everybody watch >> nice.
Expose the bloody lie. Nerdy Nerdy Bruce, watch me spawn. Pray upon you antisocial nights.
>> I want you to repeat after me.
>> Thank you.
>> Who will pray for me? Who will pray for me >> when I'm gone? When I'm gone. For another.
>> Excuse me. Um, is there anything this man can't do? Cuz I feel like it's kind of unfair now. No, I'm kidding. Just incredible like Petta head voice here.
>> Can you repeat that one?
>> Oh my god.
>> Are they all going to see him?
WHAT DID YOU SAY?
>> He's not a loser.
>> I'm not a nerdy prude. I'm not a loser.
>> Of course not, Richie.
But you have lost everything.
>> No.
>> What?
>> No. PLEASE.
NO. NO. NO.
THE MOT. OH MY GOD, that's where we end.
Holy sh I really liked Richie. That's a shame. It's not a shame. That was my goodness gracious. Holy, bro. Bill can like that little like who who will pray for you like that whole this whole sequence was so sick. Yeah, I believe um yeah I I I like genuinely like out of the three in the Hatchetfield show Hatchetfield trilogy this one's got to be the best title song, you know? Like the best title song. Dude, it is like 32° C outside. I'm wearing a hat, a headset, and a sports jacket. I am dying just like Richie.
Anyway, thank you so much for watching.
If you want to watch more Star Kid, uh, go to Star Kid's channel. I don't know what the [ __ ] you're doing here if you haven't watched the Star Kid channel.
