Uh, and a pitch block will feature on most of these. There's two pitch blocks I think on the Ax 3. I guess we'll start off with what we could do more traditionally with a pitch block. Maybe we'll just start with cab.

[00:04:37]So, we'll start with this. [music] So, in front of your amp, you could try putting your pitch block. Obviously, one of the things you're going to be doing sometimes would be. [music] [music] So you might notice that that that high cut there [music] [music] left or right with it. Why would you want to do that? Um so yes could just pitch down or up like that. That's, you know, your most obvious thing. [music] All that's fine. You do that in the sort of whammy [music] side of stuff with your um expression pedal, too. But [snorts] what I really like to do is use this. And maybe there is just a it's not here, but we could shift things down an octave. And if I'm doing this, [music] [music] I really really like this. I was doing this the other day on a gig, but in front of quite a gained up >> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Now, should Do you have that before or after the amp? [music] Definitely makes a difference, right?

[00:07:33][music] So for me personally, I'm going to put this after. So this is just an octave down chunk.

[00:07:45]But that's [music] the other thing you could try which is quite a useful little thing is your octave up lead.

[00:08:03]Um so virtual cappo shifting up 12 And if you're going up in pitch, you might want to involve the use of the high cut. [music] [music] >> [music] [music] >> Let's [snorts] just go over here.

[00:12:03][music] We just set a key for this. So if we're playing G for example, G.

[00:15:17]can be panned.

[00:15:21]So you could have like this kind of thing going on and it could also be tempo mapped.

[00:16:24]I mean, that's nice.

[00:17:29]So overall, you've got some really really [music] clever stuff in there. Um, experiment with those obviously. Um, you can get some incredible sounds out of these things. Um, feedback. Let's just turn these up a bit.

[00:18:22]It's like a shimmer effect in that way, right?

[00:19:53][music] And don't forget, you could also pair these with other effects. Um, so you put your pitch on an entirely separate path.
