Added:Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us for our debts as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the glory, the power forever and ever in Jesus name.
Amen. Can I get amen y'all on this Junth? Happy Junth to y'all too, man.
Yes. Happy happy Junth, man. I love Junth cuz I got off work yesterday and today, so I'm happy about it. Um but yeah, y'all what's up T? Uh but yeah, we starting off in the book of Genesis chapter 1. Um yeah, I'm probably read for like an hour. So once 115 come, that's when I'll probably uh stop. Uh but yeah, let's get into it. Genesis chapter 1. Y'all, let's get let's try to get through this Bible. All right, so it says, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the earth of the deep. And the spirit of God, and y'all too, let me know cuz sometimes some people say I read too fast." So, if I'm reading too fast, just say, "Hey, Rush, can you slow down a little bit?" All right. Cuz sometimes I'll be reading too fast. But it says, "And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the earth of the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light that it was good. And God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." Verse six. And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." Right? And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament.
And it was so. And y'all know I always talk about that word firmament. I always talk about that's why I don't believe people can go to space or nothing like that because there is water above us, right? And it said again uh God divided the waters which were under the firmament which would be the ocean the seas we see here on earth from the waters which were above the firmament.
So I always say how they go into space if there was water above the firmament.
Right? But I digress. And it was so. And God called the firmament heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place. Right? Which would be like I said the ocean and the seas and stuff like that. And let the dry land appear. And it was so. Verse 10. And God called the dry land earth. And the gathering together of the waters he called seeds.
As I said, and God saw that it was good.
And God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb and seed, and the fruit tree, and the yielding fruit after his kind."
And uh and the y fruit and which seed was in itself after his kind. And God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Verse 14. And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years. And let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth." And it was so. And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, which would be the sun, right? And the lesser light to rule the night, which would be the moon. And he he and he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good in the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Right? So I also don't believe these people are going to the moon because again it's just the light that God put in the firmament to give light um on earth. What's up Mary on YouTube? How y'all doing on YouTube?
Uh verse 20. And God said, "Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and foul that may fly above the earth in the open open firmament of heaven." And God created great wells and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly after their kind, and every wing foul after his kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters and the seas, and let the foul multiply the earth, and the evening and the morning star were the fifth day." Right? Uh Hebrew and Greek tree. I want to see y'all comments. Does anyone know if the Blue Letter Bible app has been helpful to break it down? I've heard of it, but I haven't I've never read it though, Quinn. What's up, Chrissy? How you doing? Shalom. Shalom. Uh, verse 24. And God said, "Let the earth bring forth a living creature after his kind, cattle and creeping thing, and a beast of the earth after his kind." And it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing upon the earth after his kind. And God saw that it was good. Verse 26. And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion, or which will be rulership, over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creep up on the earth." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And God blessed them. And God said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every creeping thing that liveth that move upon the earth." And God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which the is the tree is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to you shall be for meat." Verse 30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth on the earth, where therein is life, I have given every green herb uh for me. And it was so. And God saw that everything that he had made. And behold, it was very good.
In the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Can I get an amen? Yeah, John. This is just random, bro. Can I get an amen in the chat, y'all? So random, John.
It's It's definitely random, John. I just said, you know what? I want to get on live. I want to just start reading the whole Bible. Maybe we'll get through the whole Bible together. So yeah, it was it was very very random though. Uh but yeah, so far y'all we just got through uh verse one where God's creating everything uh blessing everything, giving everybody uh giving man everything that they needed um uh and giving us dominion and rulership.
Right. So now we are in Genesis chapter 2. Uh what's going on everybody on YouTube? How are you? I am a from Goahadi. I don't even know what Guahadi is. I'm reading the KJV if anybody's following along. I am reading the KJV.
All right. Uh, verse two, I'm sorry, chapter two. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made. And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. I feel like my screen glitching. Is it just me? I miss y'all. I've been so busy. Uh, he rested on the seventh day in his work which he had made. And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because that in that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. And I did a whole um Bible study on that. Uh one of the Bible principles that I use is, you know, a work seven days and then rest on the seventh day. You know, because that's something that God did. And he called that seventh day um the Sabbath, right? Verse four. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth.
uh rain upon the earth and there was not a man to till the ground. I'm sorry y'all my screen keep glitching on my side. And he said there was not a man to till the ground but there went up a mist from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living soul.
Verse 8 and the Lord God planted a garden eastward and Eden and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. the tree of life also in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil and a river went out of Eden to the water to the garden and from thence it was parted and it became into four heads verse 11 the name of the first is Pyison that is that is it which compassed the whole land of Havala where there is gold and and I think that's so crazy right there when it when he says in that first river uh there was gold so God had already put gold in the uh in the earth at that time, right before Adam is even created.
You know what I mean? And then it said talks more about gold in verse 12. And the gold of that land is good. You see how y'all see how just God just gave us everything that we need. He gave us everything that we need. The animals, the plants, the trees, gold. Like he gave us everything. You know what I mean? Uh I could finally make Hey, my boy Shannon in the building, man. My boy Shannon in the building. What's good, bro? What's good, man? But y'all see how God just gave us everything. He gave Adam everything. You know what I mean?
It was like with Adam and man, like he gave man a tree, but it was up to man.
It was up to man to, hey, if you want a chair or you want a table, well, you going to have to get that tree and make you a chair or make you a table. You know what I'm saying? So, God gave us everything that we needed. It's up to us to, you know, do with what he's given us. You know, he is Jehovah Gyra. He's given us everything that we need. You know what I mean? So, I think that's so I think that's significant that, you know, he had gold in there. Um, and you're sitting in the building, y'all. I might have to start going back live in the morning. I'm seeing my old family come up here, man. I might have to go back live in the morning. But I do want to do this on Fridays, y'all. Since I'm doing summer school, I don't work on Fridays. So, I am looking forward to get back to doing Monday mornings on Fridays. So, u y'all y'all definitely hold me accountable to that. Please do.
But what's up, family? Uh, where we at, y'all? We was talking about the gold in verse 12. And it says, "The gold of that land is good, and there is bend." Uh, there is, how do you say that?
Bendelium. Y'all, somebody look that up for me in verse 12 where it says, "And there is Benile." I'm not sure what that is. Somebody look that look that up for me. In the Onx stone. And the name of the second river is Guehan. The same is it that compassed the homeland of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hedo, that is which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. And the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God, it's like, okay.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden, thou mayest freely eat, but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. For in that day thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die." And again, I was doing a whole live and talking about uh the garden of Eden and how God wants us to be good managers. You know what I mean? He wanted Adam to manage this garden of Eden. And once he forms Eve, he I I want you to manage her, too. You got to be a good manager. And God was like, "You know what? I'm going to leave and I'm going to come back and I'm going to check on see how good you was managing this garden of Eden. If you've been managing well, I'm going to continue to bless you. If you not manager well, well then you got to you got to be kicked out. You know what I mean? That's something that Jesus talked about in the book of Luke, right, about management.
You know what I mean? If you can't be trusted with someone else's property, who would you know who's going to trust you with their own property, right? So management is a big thing. Uh verse 18, and the Lord God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a help meat for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every foul of the air and brought them into Adam to see what he would call them. And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Because again, he gave Adam dominion. He's like, "Hey, bro, you can do what you want. You can call him whatever name you want to call him, Adam. That's what we're going to be. I'm going to give you dominion."
That's what God gave us. He gave us dominion, rulership, right? Uh where we at? We in verse um 20. And Adam gave names to all the cattle and to the fowl of the air and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a help meat for him. Right? So again, as as as men, you know, and as women, you know, first of all, men, it's up to us obviously to lead, you know what I mean?
To provide, to protect, to take care, you know what I mean? And y'all see, Adam was just in his mold. He was doing what he was supposed to do. He was taking care of the garden. He was naming all the animals and doing whatever God told him to do. But again, for us as men, it's it's it's hard for us to do things on our own. We need women. We need y'all. Like, we need y'all help.
You know what I mean? That's why God said, "I will make a help for you."
Right? So, if a man is doing what he's supposed to do in his purpose, you know, it is the woman's job to help them. And it is our job to lead y'all. You know what I mean? So, good good principles we learn on men and women in the book of Genesis that sometimes get overlooked, right? So, God says, "Hey, all right.
You've been doing a lot, Adam. I got to find somebody to help you, bro. You can't do this by yourself. You need somebody to help you. So in verse 21, the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept. And he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman. And he and brought her into the man. And Adam said, "This is not bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh, and they both were naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
But let's get an amen in the chat for that one for chapter 2 of Genesis, man.
Why? And again, we know that's why that's why, you know, some men they call their wife. This is my rib right here.
That's my rib right here. You know what I'm saying? U what else did we get from that? Um also talking about marriage right there. You know what I mean? Man should leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and that shall be one flesh. And then in verse 25 when it say they were both naked, right? They didn't know the difference between good and evil. They didn't know anything about being naked, which means basically like they were not in sin. They didn't know what sin was. So when they were both naked, the man and his wife and were not ashamed. Like that means they were not in sin yet. They didn't know good and evil yet. You know what I mean? They were just, you know, doing what God told them to do. So now Adam has been in charge of the of managing the Garden of Eden. Now God say, "I'm going to bring you a help. Hey Adam, now you gotta manage this garden and you gotta manage this woman, right? So you got to remember guys like, "Hey, Adam, I'm gonna be back. I'm gonna come back and check on you and I'mma see how this I'm gonna see how you doing in a garden. How you doing with this woman if you leading her and I'm going to come back and check and see how good you've been doing." All right, but Genesis chapter 3, now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And are y'all understanding I know I'm reading the KJV. Are y'all understanding the KJV? Y'all let me know in the chat if the if the KJB is good for y'all. And he said unto the woman, "Yeath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" And the woman said unto the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, "Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die." You know what I mean? And don't y'all find it funny how the serpent or Satan, y'all see, he didn't go to Adam. Y'all see he did not go to Adam. He went straight to the woman. He went straight to Eve. And I believe they talk about that in the I know it's in the New Testament. It might be First Peter's where he said he went after the weaker vessel, right? Not to say that women are weak, right? But the Bible called them the weaker vessel. You know what I mean? Because he knew, "Oh, okay. I know who God made the leader. I know who God made the leader of this garden. I know what God told him. So, I'mma go to the woman and I'mma try to deceive her and then she's going to deceive him." Right? So, I found that funny that he went to the woman. Verse four, and the serpent said unto the woman, right? Yeah. It's like Adam wasn't deceived, but it said like Eve was deceived. I Y'all let me know what verse that is. I forgot. I can't look it up now, but y'all let me know what verse that is. It said Adam was deceived, but uh Adam wasn't deceived, but the woman was deceived. It's somewhere in the New Testament. It might be First Peter's. Um but we were in 1 Timothy chapter 2 and verse4. Yeah, let's go to that real quick. Thank you. Thank you. Let's read that real quick. 1 Timothy. Uh, let's read that real quick to show y'all where it talked about that 214. I know I went to the wrong one to show y'all again where that was brought up. Uh, two and 14. Yep. And I got that um, Yep. I got that highlighted too. And it says uh, verse 13, for Adam was form was first formed, then Eve, and Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. So, that's just a good little point if y'all want to mark that down. Again, that's 1 Timothy chapter 2:14. Thank you, uh, Chrissy. Again, it said, "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." All right, but uh, we can get back to we can go back to Genesis, though. Genesis chapter 3.
But yeah, that's a good little note to write down right there. Uh, verse four, and the serpent said unto the woman, "Ye shall not surely die, for God does not know in the day you eat thereof. Then your eyes shall be open, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her, and he did eat.
But see, that's where Adam messed up, too, right? Because he listened to the woman, and he was supposed to be like, "Hey, no, no, no, no, no, no. God already told me that we're not supposed to eat from that fruit." And that's how sometimes you got to watch the enemy. He has so many tricks to deceive you, getting into your thoughts, overthinking that he can make you think of illusions.
He'll make you question God. And and that's what the serpent came to do. He comes to I I can't say that word, but unal alive, to steal, unal alive, and destroy. You know what I mean? Um but again, you you you see also know God gives us free will. He gives us the free will. God gives us everything that we need and then he gives us the free will.
But whatever decision you make off that free will, God is going to judge you on that. And he doesn't really have to do anything because the laws are already set in place. We know that, hey, whatever you reap, you going to sow. So God already know, okay, whatever y'all decide to do, whatever decisions you're going to make, if y'all don't listen, well, I got to kick you out of the garden, right? If you do listen, hey, I'll continue to bless you. So God will judge you off the consequences of the decisions that you make. Hey, I'm going to put you here. I gave you everything that you need. Now let's see how good you manage your job or your house or your money whatever it may be. And then you got to you know have the wisdom to know how to manage that. Right? And it says in verse 7 and the both of their eyes were open and they knew that they were naked. Right? But they what they really means is they knew that they were in sin now. They ate from the tree of life. Now they looking down like oh shoot we in sin right? We know that we naked. We in sin now. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden of the cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And I was again I was just doing a Bible study talking about that. If y'all remember the parable of the talents or the parable of the gold, right? When the the the master gave the servants five uh talents, two talents, and gave the man with the one, he gave him one talent, right? He told the other two, "Hey, well done." But the man with the one, he hid his. Y'all remember he hid his talent of gold, right? And that's the same thing that Adam and Eve did. When they heard God coming back, they hid, right? They hid themselves, right? And then that servant called him a wicked servant, right? Because he wasn't managing his money good. And they he found out that they were not managing the garden very well, right? Uh what we at? We in verse um nine of chapter 3.
And the Lord God called him to Adam and said, "Where are you?" Right? And that's and that's for uh and that's for us men right there. You know what I mean? For us as leaders. You know what I mean?
That hey, God didn't say, "Adam and Eve, where y'all at?" He said, "Adam, where are you at? I made you first. I put you in charge of the garden. I put you in charge of this woman to lead her."
Right? Adam, where you at? Right? Uh so it says, uh he said again, "Adam, where are you?" In verse 10, he said, "I heard that voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself." And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shalt not eat?' And the man said,"The woman who thou gave to me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat." You know what I mean? And that's a good that's a good Bible verse on accountability. You know what I mean? That's something that we all can do better at, including myself. All can be better at having accountability. You know what I mean?
Y'all see how he's like, "Hey, hey, Adam, where you at? What did you do, Adam? Who told you you were naked?" It was her fault. She she did it. You know what I mean? You see, he went straight to the woman and said, "It's her fault.
She's the one who gave it to me." You know what I mean? And so, again, that's a good lesson on on accountability that we all can learn, right? Um, and he said, "She gave it to me and I did eat."
Verse 13, "And the Lord God said unto the woman, what is it? What is it that you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent begilled me and or deceived me and I did eat." And the Lord God said unto the serpent, because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. Upon thy belly thou shalt shalt thou go, and thus you shall eat all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, and it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Right?
And that's like that right there is like the first prophecy right there when God says I will put eminent between thee and the woman and between your seed and her seed and it shall bruise thy head and thou and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Right? So that let you know the serpent has some of his people here on earth at the time too. You know what I mean? We can talk about Cain and we can talk about Esau and all these people. We ain't gonna go too deep into it though.
But that was the first prophecy to let you know like hey I'm I'm letting you know Satan. I'm gonna have my son come and he gonna bruise your head. My son Jesus Christ is gonna bruise your head and your heel one day. Right? So that was like the first prophecy. Uh verse 16. Unto thee unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your th your de conception. In sorrow you shall bring forth children and desire uh shall thou be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee. So I'm sure some of y'all women know that and but some people don't know. Uh that's why women have birth pains when they have babies. So if you want to know why you have birth pains, it was because of the disobedience of Eve in the garden. God said, "Okay, bet. You want to do that?"
Now, when you have kids, it's going to hurt. It's going to hurt a little bit or a lot, right? Uh verse 19, 17. And unto Adam, he said, "Because you have listened unto the voice of your wife, and you have eaten of the tree which I commanded thee, saying, Ye shalt not uh eat of it. Curses the ground for thy sake, and sorrow shall you eat of the days of thy life. Thorns also, thorns also, and thistle shall I bring forth to thee. And you shall eat of the herb of the field, and the sweat of thy face you shall eat bread till thou till you return into the ground. For out of it was thou taken, for dust you are, and dust thou shalt return. So you're like, hey, since you did what you did, you going to have to work hard for your food. You going to have to really put boots to the ground for that, right? So just like you came from the earth, I'mma you going to return to the earth to the dust one day. Uh verse 20. And Adam called his wife's name Eve because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and his wife the Lord God make coats of skin and clothe them. I think that's so interesting right there. He said unto Adam, Adam also and his wife did the Lord God make coats of skin and clothe them. H So I always wonder how did they look before the coats of skin?
because God said they shall be like us.
So I want to know what's y'all comments on that uh of how they look before God put the coat of skin on them and clothed them. You know, did they have heavenly bodies already? Right? Do they have angelic bodies already? You know what I mean? Before God put the coat of skin on them. Verse 22. And the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, eat and live forever." Uh therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden. Right? Um and again that last part in verse 22, he said he has become one of us to know good and evil. Now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life. So God was like uh-uh you know what? He's already messed up in the garden. He might take away from the tree of life.
So y'all we got to do something about this. We going to have to kick him out of the garden cuz he might take away from the tree of life. And then it said the lift therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden or the Lord God banished him kicked him out to the till the ground from where he was taken. So he drove out the man and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubams, right? And a flaming sword was turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life. All right, let's get a amen in chat for that one. Amen.
All right, what's up? Highly favored.
Um, so again, like I always talk about, man, it's so many gems you get from Genesis, but the ma the one of the biggest things I I get from Genesis and that part of the Garden of Eden is management. God said, "Adam, you ain't doing a good job of managing, bro. You listen to your you listen to your woman.
You didn't you didn't take care of the garden. So since you don't know how to manage this, you got to get up out of here. It's just like again, somebody give you a house. If your landlord or the bank see you are not managing your house properly, hey, it's time for you to go. you ain't managing your job properly. Uh, you got to go, right? So, God was like, you ain't doing a good job of managing. So, you got to get up out the garden. You got to get up out of here. Uh, but we are in Genesis chapter 4. U Genesis chapter 4. And if anybody is new in the chat, let me know if you knew. I'll give y'all a shout out. Uh, make sure y'all follow and subscribe.
I'll be back on live on Monday. Uh, what an A&M Bio study that knew I needed this morning. I know, right? It was so random. Like I said, y'all, I'm again, I need y'all to hold me to it. Um, but I'll be off on Fridays for summer school. So, I do plan on doing uh Monday morning lives on Friday again, y'all.
So, y'all again, y'all hold me accountable. But Genesis chapter 4, Monday, what time? Uh, I'll be going in the evening on Mondays cuz I work. So, on Mondays, I'll be going at 6. All right. Mondays and Wednesdays I try to go at 6, but Fridays it'll be in the morning time around 10, around 12:00.
Uh, but Genesis chapter 4 is where we at now.
What' he say?
Chrissy, what? Yeah, I was going to say Chrissy, what he talking about? But Genesis chapter 4, and Adam knew his wife, and she conceived and bare Cain and excuse me, and bear Cain and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord, and she again bare his brother Abel, and Abel was a keeper of the sheep. But Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in the process of time, it came to pass that Cain brought up the fruit of the ground and offering unto the Lord. And Abel he also brought the firstlings of his flock, and of the fat thereof. And the Lord God had respect unto Abel and his offering, but unto Cain unto his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. Verse six, and the Lord said unto Cain, why are you wroth or why are you upset? Why is thy countenance fallen? If you do, if you do well, you shall not be accepted. And if thou dost not well, sin lies at the door. And unto thee Oh, thank you for the galaxy. Who sent the galaxy? Thank you, I appreciate that galaxy. Thank you so much. Uh you made me forget where I was at. Um verse eight. And God talked with uh with Abel his brother. And it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against his Abel his brother and slew him. See that's when that jealousy started right there. That's when Oh, you I know, right? Balling ball. That's when jealousy came in right there. That's when that that's when jealousy and envy came into the world. Why? Because of Adam and Eve sin. You know what I mean?
He was jealous of his brother. You know what I mean? His own peoples. You know what I'm saying? And verse N, and the Lord God and the Lord said unto Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I I I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Right? That's what people get that from. Am I my brother's keeper? Am I supposed to look up after him all the time? And he said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cried unto me from the ground. And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand." Verse 12. when you tillest the ground, it shall not h it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength, a fugitive and a veagabond thou shalt be in the earth. Verse 13. And Kay said unto the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth, and from the face shall I be hid, and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth, and it shall come to pass that everyone that findeth me shall slay me. And the Lord said unto him, "Therefore, whoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him shall unal alive him." Now, uh I think me and Christy talked about that that mark that was on Cain, right? Um and some people say it's like leprosy or it was like uh how Esau came out. Again, y'all let me know what y'all think about that when it when it said the Lord God uh set a mark upon Cain, right? Again, I believe it was that leprosy or lighter skin, whatever it may be. And I didn't even bring up this part about Adam. U you know, we can debate about was Adam what color Adam was. Was he black? Was he white? All I know is Adam was formed from the dust of the ground.
If you go out and you start digging in that ground, all I know is the ground, the dust is brown. And the deeper you dig you, the deeper you dig into that ground, the darker it gets. So, I don't know. Uh, Chris said he lost his melan, right? I believe that, too. That's like what happened to um what's her name? Um gosh, I'm losing my thought. Moses, what's the lady's name? Miriam, right?
Miriam. Yes. Happy Junth to everybody.
Happy Junth. So, I had to throw in a little black part, y'all, for a little for a little uh Junth black history. So, Adam and those people were most likely melanated dark-kinned people. All right.
Uh verse 16 of Genesis chapter 4. And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nigh on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife and she conceived and bare Enoch. And he built a city and called the name of the city after the name of his son Enoch.
And until Enoch was born Ira, and Ira begat, Mahujulah, and Mahuzela begat Methuselah, and Methuselah begat Lamech.
Y'all y'all know these names going to start coming up, y'all. Y'all know these names get a little wild, though. Let me read your comments, too, though. Okay, I see. I see y'all. Uh, verse 19. And Lamech took unto him two wives, and the name of the one was Ada, and the name of the other Zilla. Uh, and Adam bear Jabal. He was the father of such as dwelt in tents, of such a of such as have cattle. And his brother's name was Jubel, and he was the father of all such as handled the harp and organ. Wow. They had y'all I, you know, I've never read that part. It says when it was talking about the um the music, it says he was the father of all such as handled the harp and the organ. Hey, crazy. Verse 22. And Zilla she also bear Tubukain and instructor uh of every artificer and brass and iron. And the sister of Tubcane was Nama. And Lamech said unto his wives. Ada and Zilla hear my voice.
Ye wives of Lamech hearken unto my speech or listening to my speech. For I have slain a man to my wounded and a young man to my hurt. If Cain shall be aven sevenfold, truly lame 77fold. And Adam verse 25. And Adam knew his wife again, and she bare a son, and called his name Seth. For God said, she said, "She had appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew." And to Seth, to him also there was born a son, and he called his name Enos. Then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
Y'all, let's get a amen in chat for chapter 4 of Genesis. Man, from God after Cain was banished from killing, God placed the mark on us so nobody would. Yes. Exactly. Wave wave 66. Yes. Exactly. Exactly. Uh, first people to commit polygamy. That's deep.
Could imagine still crying for vengeance, right? That's very deep.
Again, man, I want to learn from y'all, too, man. Again, I told you I don't know everything, man. So, uh, somebody as we continue to read this whole Bible, y'all y'all give me some understanding, too.
We all here to help each other, though.
Uh, Genesis 5. Now, I ain't going to lie to y'all. Um, so Eve had three kids.
Yes. E Eve had three kids at this point.
She had three kids. Cain, Abel, and then Seth, right? And God gave her Seth because of because Abel died. So God was like, "You know what? I'mma bless you with another son." Now y'all, we gonna get to some of these names. Some of these names, y'all, when I when I ain't going to lie, y'all, when I start reading genealogy, I kind of skip through that part. So, I'm just letting y'all know, heads up, some of these parts of the genealogy stuff. Let's get to the good stuff, right? But Genesis chapter 5, again, y'all, I'm reading out of the KJV. Uh this is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man in the likeness uh in the likeness of God made he him. Male and female created he them and blessed them uh and called their name and called their name Adam in the day that they were created. We got to Hey, we got to hold on y'all. We got to we got to go back. We got to rewind real quick. We got to rewind quick because a lot of people and even sometimes I've asked myself this too of like you know when you had Cain and Abel and then it says and then they went and found some wives, right? They and people be like, "Well, where did the wives come from? Where did the other people come from?" Right? But you got to kind of read chapter 5 a little bit to see what God called man.
So let's read it one more time in verse one. This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, and the likeness of God made he him, male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.
I want to know what y'all think about that. Right? It says he called their name Adam. So, was that just the name of man at that time of being Adam? Right?
Because I think that kind of gives us a little bit more clarity on hey that's what these other people came on. Adam and Eve already have been producing I think before the fall. Could be. It could be. Again I want to know y'all thoughts on that though man. Uh verse three. And Adam lived 130 years and begget a son. Thank y'all. Thank you so much. And begget a son in his own likeness. Uh they had other sons and daughters. Right. And I know it's a book uh called the um MJ used to read it.
book of uh Adam and Eve. I think that's in the Apocrypha. It goes a little deeper into Adam and Eve. Uh when you read the uh the book of Adam and Eve in the Apocrypha and Adam lived 130 years and begat a son in his own likeness after his image and called his name Seth. Uh and the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were 800 years. And he begat sons and daughters. And all the days that Adam lived were 930 years and he died. Uh it's pretty deep.
It is. Or maybe after. But there definitely had to be women pres present for sure. But y'all see how long he lived, man? 130 years. Verse 6. And Seth lived 105 years and begat Enos. And Seth lived after he begat Enos 87 years. And begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Seth were 912 years. And he died. These men were living almost a thousand years, y'all. And Enos lived 90 years. And begat uh Canaan. And Enos lived after he begat Canaan 815 years.
And he begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Enos were 95 years and he died. And Canaan lived 70 years and begat Ma Mahalil. And Canaan lived after he begat Mahal 840 years and beg sons and daughters. And all the days of Canaan were 910 years and he died. And Mahal lived uh 65 years and he begat Jared. And Mahal lived lived after he begat Jared 830 years and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Mahalia were 895 years. and he died. And Jared lived 162 years and he begat Enoch.
Right? So you got to remember Enoch.
Enoch is a big figure. And Jared lived after he begat Enoch 800 years and he begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Jared were 962 years and he died. I couldn't imagine living 900 900 years is crazy. Like that's so crazy.
Like that's wild, man. 900 years. But it's going to be a point in the Bible where God be like, you know what? I gotta cut y'all time short. I It's gonna be a point he gonna be like, "You know what? Y'all living too long at this point. I gotta cut y'all time short.
Ain't no more living 900 years no more.
We got to cut that short." But verse 25.
And Methuselah livedund uh 187 years and begat Lamech. Uh yeah, God was good to cut it. No, for real. And Methuselah lived after he begat uh Lamech 78 82 years and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Methuselah were 969 years and he died. Was the oldest to live because he God proclaimed judgment uh when Methuselah died. Uh they be like, "How old are you?" 900. Yeah. How old are you? I'm I'm I'm 725 years.
Dang. I'm only 33. I'm only 33, my boy.
You talk about old. You old. How old are you? Oh, I'm 92 years. I'm only I'm only 25. What? I'm 25? What you mean? Verse 28. Let's finish this chapter. Uh, paying Sha said, "Paying bills for 900 years.
When do you retire? When you gonna retire, bro?" I'm probably, man, I'm probably retire around 500. When I turn when I get 500 year, I think I'm going to retire. I'm going to just live the rest of my 400 years on my retirement check. You know what I'm saying? But let's finish this chapter, man. And Lem lived and 82 years and beget a son and called his name Noah. Right. Accord there's Noah saying this same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands because of the ground which the Lord the Lord had cursed. And Lamech lived after he begott Noah 5 and five excuse me 595 years. Now you see you see he ain't lived too long.
Lamech only lived 500 years and he be sons and daughters and all the days of Lamech were 777 years and he died and oh sorry 777 years sorry. And Noah was 500 years old and be and Noah begat Shim, Ham, and Jaffith. Man, that man Noah, let's get a amen in chat, too. Amen.
That man Noah was 500 years when he had kids. Think about that, ladies. We talking about paying bills. Imagine if you had some kids at 500 years old. Ladies, ladies, your girl talking about, bae, I want another baby girl. We 700 years old, bae. I'm 700. You 600. You want to have another kid? No, that's dead.
Shorty, go ahead. Get them tubes tied.
Get them tubes tied. But uh we got Noah, y'all. We going to get into Noah. We see Noah had three sons. Shim, Ham, and Jaffith, right? Three names to really remember. Um when we talk about Shim, uh when we talk about the children of Israel, when we talk about the Israelites, since it is Junth, um especially our people, y'all, we come from Shim, right? We come from shim or what they say and those people in Israel try to steal and say, "Oh, you're anti-Semitic." We can't be anti-semitic.
You know, that's one thing I agree with Kanye on. We can't be anti-Semitic because we are from Shim. We come from Shim. And then you have Ham, which would be the the uh the Africans, right? And again, Africans and what people call us Negro, we are not the same. Africans and Negro, some of us are, but majority of us are not. You can tell like we got different phenotypes. Like sometimes, you know, y'all know how it is. You can tell who's an African and who's just like a a negro or African-American. You know what I mean? You can tell by the phenotype. But anyways, they come from Ham, right? Yes, they come from Ham. We come from Shim, right? That's where they come from. All right. So, just a little history on that. Uh, but Genesis chapter Genesis chapter 6, y'all. We're probably reading to Genesis chapter 10. So, we probably do like 10 chapters a day. And it came to pass, right? Black American, right? I was trying to see what the call is. I can't say that word. And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth. Uh the daughter and daughters were born into them. Um that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair and they took them wives all of which they chose. So the sons of God would be the angels. If I'm sure some of y'all know that, right?
So the sons of the angels seen the angels were just supposed to be just looking after them, protecting them. But then they start seeing these women and they like, "Man, hold on. Hey, shorty look kind of good though. Hey, I should I should get with her. I should have some kids with her. So, that's what started to happen. The angels start to get with the the women on earth, right?
Verse three. And the Lord said, "My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also was flesh, yet his day shall be 120 years." See, that's when God said, "All right, I'm cutting y'all time short for after all this and after Noah and all this and after the flood, you know what?" He said, "Y'all day shall be 120 years." That That's the time clock right there. You get cut off after that. All this 500, 900 years.
Nah, not no more. Because y'all, it's too much wickedness on this earth. I can't have y'all have this wickedness for 900 years. Some of y'all got to go, right? Uh verse four, there were giants, right? Still too long. There were giants in the earth in those days. And also after that, that's remember that part.
There were giants in the earth in those days and also after that and we know one giant who was still in the earth after the flood. It was Goliath. Remember Goliath was like 9 foot 10t tall. So and a lot of the Philistines you know there were still giants in the earth. All right? So there were giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God or the angels came unto the daughters of men and they bear children to them and the same became mighty men which were of old men of re renown. Right? So again, these angels start to have children with these women.
They start to have these big giants. Um, that's where you get like Hercules from.
That's where these Greek that's where these Greek gods come from, right? Like Zeus and um I forgot all the names of the Greek gods and stuff like that. Um, but again, when you talk about people like Hercules, that's where they get these things from. They get it from these mighty men which were of old men of renown, right? Big giant men, powerful men. You know what I mean?
That's where these little Greek gods come from, right? cuz the angels had kids with the woman. Uh verse 5, and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man of the earth, and it grieved him had at his heart. So God was like, "Man, I shouldn't have never made these folks, man. I tried to be a loving God and tried to give y'all something. I should have never created man." So God was grieving his heart. He was upset. Verse 7. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beasts, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air. For it repented me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a man and perfect in his generation. And Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shim, Ham, and Jaffith. The al the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And the Lord God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Verse 13. And God said unto Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them, and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee a ark of gopher wood. Room shalt thou make in the ark, and shall pitch it pitch it within and without pitch." Uh, verse 15. And this is the fashion which you shall make of it. The length of of the ark shall be 300 cubits, the breath 50 cubits, and the height of it 30 cubits. Uh, a window sh a window shall you make to the ark, and a cubit uh you shall finish it above, and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the in the sides thereof with lower second, third story shall he make. So, he's just telling Adam or telling Noah how to make the ark. Verse 17, behold, I even I do bring a flood upon waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life from under heaven, and everything that is in the earth shall die. But with thee I will establish my covenant. And you shall make you shall come into the ark.
You and your sons and your wife and your sons wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort you shall bring into the ark. And to keep them alive with thee you uh they shall be male and female of every fowls after their kind, and after cattle after their kind, and of every human thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shalt thou come unto thee to keep them alive. and thou shalt take unto thee all the food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee, and it shall be given uh food for you and for them." So Noah did according to all God commanded him. So he did. All right, let's get an amen in the chat for that one. Amen. Um I need clarification. The Lord God, so we are not from Adam. We are from Noah.
No, we're still from Adam, right?
Because Noah comes from Adam. You know what I mean? Noah comes from Adam. So you got to still remember that, right?
Noah comes from Adam. So, we still come from we still come from Adam, right? But Noah also in that genealogy, you know, but it's still Adam, though. Uh, but Genesis chapter 7, y'all, we got about three more chapters, though. There are four different blood types today. Oh, that's different. I never heard that before. That's different. Uh, but yeah, Genesis chapter 7. And the Lord said unto Noah, uh, come thou, come here, and all that house into the ark. For thee I have seen righteousness, uh, seen righteous before me in this generation, a very clean beast you shall make, you shall take unto thee by the sevens, the male and his female, of the beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Verse three, of the fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and female, to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. So God is like, hey, I don't want every animal to be destroyed, right?
I want every animal. Did you speak on the talking snakes? Uh, no I didn't. Uh, but you like I got to keep the animals, too. So, we gonna save some of the animals, too. Right. Verse four. For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the face of the earth, uh, 40 days and 40 nights. And every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
And Noah did according unto all the Lord God commanded him. And Noah was 600 years when the flow of the waters was up on the earth. Verse 7. And Noah went in and his sons and his wife and his sons wives with him into the ark because of the flood to the water of clean beasts of the beasts that are not clean of fouls and of everything that creep on the earth. There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark the male and female. And God commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
Verse 11. and the 600 year of Noah's life. And the second month, the 70th day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up.
And the window and the windows of heaven were open.
And and the rain was upon the of the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Now, I think that part is so interesting in verse 11 cuz remember we talked about when God created the firmament, he said, "Hey, I'm going to separate the waters from under the earth, which would be the seas and the ocean, from the waters which are above the earth." And then because so again there is water above the earth above the firmament and you can see it right here to kind of give you more clarification on that because he says and the windows of heaven were open and the rain was upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Right?
I don't know what he talking about. He he walling. Verse 13. And the same self day uh day entered Noah and Shem, Ham, and Jaffith and the sons of Noah, Noah's wives, and the three wives of his sons with them into the ark. Then every beast after that kind, uh, and all the cattle of their kind, and every creeping thing that creep on the earth after his kind, and every foul after his kind, and bird after every sword. Uh, y'all can't hear me.
Hold on. Can y'all hear me? Can y'all hear me? Did my sound go out? I want to make sure y'all can hear me first. Kiki said she can't hear me. Can y'all Everybody else hear me? I'mma pause real quick. Can y'all hear me? Y'all hear me?
Okay. Kiki, it's your phone, girl. It's that Boost Mobile. It's that Metro PCS.
It's that flip phone. No, I'm playing.
Uh, but verse what where we at? Verse 15.
And they went they went into the Noah into the ark. Uh, two and two and two of all flesh wherein is the breath of life.
Verse 16. And they that went in went male and female of all flesh as God had commanded him. And the Lord shut them in. And the flood was was 40 days upon the earth and the waters increased and bear up the ark and it was lift above the earth and the waters prevailed and the and were increased greatly upon the earth and the ark went upon the face of the waters and the waters uh prevailed exceedingly upon the earth. All the hills that were under the whole heaven were covered. 15 cubits over did the waters prevail and the mountains were covered and all flesh died that moved upon the earth full of foul of cattle and of beasts and of every creeping thing that creep upon the earth. and every man. Verse 22, and all whose nostrils was the breath of life, and of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance was destroyed, which was upon the face of the ground, both man and cattle, and the creeping things, and the foul of the heavens, and they were destroyed from the earth. And Noah only remained alive, and they that were in the ark with him. And the waters prevailed upon the earth 150 days. All right, let's get an amen in the chat. 150 days.
Can y'all imagine being in that ark for 150 days?
150 days. How you going to take a shower? I I'll be thinking about I know it smelled bad up in that ark, y'all.
You ain't taking no shower. Your girl ain't taking no shower. Your sons and wives ain't taking no shower. And then you got all these animals in here. Come on now. It took him 75 years to build it. That's good. I like that. 75 years.
That's a long time. And you got to think about that, too. the whole 75 years.
Chrissy and everybody, you know, he telling everybody like, "Hey, y'all about to get y'all stuff just y'all about to get y'all yourself together.
Y'all know what God to do. God about to flood this earth. Y'all about to get yel together. Y'all about better start repent. Y'all about to get to know the Lord." And they was just like, "Man, be quiet, bro. Ain't nobody f to flood no earth, man. Man, man. Noah, shut up, bro. You still building this art, bro.
It's been 10 years, bro. It's been 25 years. It ain't rain yet. It's been 75 years. It ain't rain yet, man. Man, get on up out of here." And then boom. And it just happened, right? But I feel like Jesus said it's going like the last days. It's going to be like the days of Noah. The last days are going to be like the days of Noah where we are warning our people to, hey, repent, come back to God. Jesus is returning. We don't know the time of the hour. They didn't know the time of the hour that God was going to send flood upon the earth. Right.
Right. Exactly. They didn't They didn't know. They just like, "Man, we ain't worried. Oh, we we we got time. We got time, y'all." But and we be saying the same thing like, "Oh yes, like a thief in the night. We think we got time. I got time. I got time." Bro, we don't know the time of the hour. They didn't know it back then either. There ain't nothing new under the sun. Ain't nothing new under the sun. Same thing is going on today. Well, we don't know when Jesus going to return. All right. But Genesis chapter 8, y'all, let's get an amen in the chat. Genesis chapter 8. We got about two, three more chapters. Genesis chapter 8. And verse one, God remembered Noah and every living thing and all the cattle that was with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth and the waters I don't know how to say that word. That's why I don't verse two.
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped and the rain from heaven was restrained and the waters returned from off the earth continually. And after the uh end of the 150 days, the waters were abadded or gone, you know, ceasing away. And the ark rested in the seventh month. And on the 17th day of the month upon the mount of Araroth, the waters decreased continually until the 10th month. In the 10th month, on the first day of the month, where the top of the mountain seen. So obviously we see that the the water is starting to go down. Verse 6.
And it came to pass at the end of 40 days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. Thank you favor.
And he sent forth a raven which went went forth to and fro until the waters were dried off from the earth. And he also sent forth a dove from him to see if the waters were at were going from off the face of the ground. But the dove found no rest for the soul of her foot.
And she returned into the ark for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. Uh then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her into the uh unto him into the ark. So as we know that that was that was Noah's way to see.
Hey, taking these birds. Hey, if that bird don't come back, that means it's safe to go out out of this ark. But if them birds do come back, that means it's not safe to get out the ark yet because the the earth is still flooded. So every time the birds return, they're like, "All right, y'all. We got to wait a little bit more time before we can step out on the earth." I think we in verse 10. And he stayed yet another seven days, right? So he waited a whole week and again he sent forth a dove out of the ark. And the dove came in in the evening and lo and her mouth was a olive leaf plugged off. So Noah knew that the waters were at baited or were leaving from the earth. So Noah was like, "Okay, it the water almost gone. He brought back a little olive. So I'm going probably give it a little bit more time and then I'm going to send a dove out again." Right? And he stayed yet another seven days and sent forth the dove which returned not again unto him anymore. So that third time he's like, "Hey, go see what's up." The dove never returned. He like, "All right, y'all. I think the coast is clear. I think we can get out this ark now." Verse 13. And it came to pass in the 600 and first year in the first month that um uh the first day of the month that the waters were dried off from the earth and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and behold the face of the ground was dry.
And in the second month on the seventh and 20th day of the month was the earth dry. Verse 15. And God spake to Noah, saying, "Go forth of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons wives with thee. bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all the flesh, uh, both foul and of the cattle, and of every creeping thing that creep upon the earth, that they may be breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth. And Noah went forth, and his sons and his wife, and his sons watched with him, and every beast, every creeping thing, and every foul, and whatsoever keep on the earth after their kind went forth out of the ark. Verse 20. And Noah built an altar unto the Lord and took of every clean beast of every clean foul of and offered burnt offerings on the altar. Uh verse 21. And the Lord smelled a sweet savor. And the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground anymore for man's sake. For the imaginations of man heart is evil from his youth.
Neither again will I smite anymore anymore everything everything living as I have done. While the earth remain, uh, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and the day and night shall not cease. All right, let's get an amen in the chat, y'all, for chapter eight, y'all. Amen.
All right, so we got about two more chapters left, y'all. Two more chapters left. All right, so Genesis chapter 9.
Genesis chapter 9. Again, man, make sure y'all subscribe to my YouTube channel.
This will be recorded, so if y'all miss some of the live, make sure y'all subscribe to the YouTube channel. You can go rewatch it. Make sure y'all follow uh and you know you subscribe if you want to as well on my Tik Tok as well. All right. Genesis chapter 9. And God blessed knowing his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.
And the fear of you, and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and uh upon every foul of the air, upon all that move upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea, and to your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you, even as the herb I have given you all things." This the same this the same thing he said to Adam. He said, "Hey, I'm going to give you all the herbs. I'm going give you all the all the animals." He said the same thing to Adam. Hey, you know, replenish, multiply, subdue, you know. Verse four, uh, but flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof shall ye not eat. And surely your surely your blood of your lives will I require. At the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man, at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Who so shedth man's blood?
Man by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God made he man, and you be fruitful, multiply, and bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. Verse eight. Uh that's how tough uh Noah seeing they had to live alone. Right.
Uh, and God said unto God spake unto Noah and to his sons with him, saying, "Behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you, and with every living creature that is with you, of the foul, of the cattle, and every every beast of the field with you, all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth." Verse 11, "And I will establish my covenant with you.
Neither shall all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of flood, neither shall there be any more flood uh to destroy the earth." So God is making a promise, making a covenant. Y'all, I am never going to flood the earth again. I promise y'all I ain't gonna never flood the earth again. That's the last time I'm gonna do that. All right. And verse 12, and God said, "This is a token of a covenant which I make between you and every living creature that is with you for perpetual generations. I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a token of a covenant between me and the earth." And uh you know, if y'all, most of y'all, if y'all been following me, y'all, we know what that means. But again, we might have some new people here on TikTok, on YouTube, right? that God made the covenant that he'll never destroy the earth again, which would be the rainbow. You know what I mean? I'm sure we all know that. But it was the rainbow. So, anytime you see a rainbow after it rains, you know, hey, that is God's covenant in earth. That ain't about no AB alphabet community stuff or nothing like that. They just do that stuff to mock God. But we know that seeing a rainbow in a cloud is God's covenant with the earth that he'll never flood the earth again. All right. Yeah, I think I got the puzzle real quick. Let me do this puzzle.
Yeah, just but just for anybody who didn't know, uh verse 14. And it shall come to pass when I bring a cloud over the earth that the bow or the rainbow shall be in the cloud shall be seen in the cloud. And I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every living creature upon uh every living creature of all flesh. Uh and the water shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bowl and the bowl shall be in the cloud and I will look upon it that I might know that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, "This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth." And um if y'all can find this verse for me, I know it's a verse in the New Testament talk about how when when God sent the uh the flood upon the earth, that was a way it was like um symbolic of baptism, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? Of like water baptism. Uh y'all y'all somebody find that scripture for me where it talks about uh they were baptized in the water uh with the flood. I can't remember what scripture it is because I'm reading, but uh when y'all find that for me, uh we can read that, too. Uh we were in verse 18. And the sons of Noah that went forth of the ark were Shim, Ham, Jaffith, and Ham of the Canaan.
These are the three sons of Noah, and of them was the whole earth overspread. And Noah began to be a husband man. And he planted a vine yard, and he drank of the wine, and was drunk, and he was uncovered with his tent. So y'all see Noah got lit. No, no one had had too much wine. He was sipping that wine. He was taking that wine to the head. He didn't got too drunk. Right. Verse 22.
And Ham the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father and told his brothers uh without. And Sham and Jaffa took a garment and laid it upon their shoulders and went backward. Is it first Corinthians? It it may be. It may be.
It's somewhere in the New Testament. And covered the nakedness of their father and their faces. Uh imagine it's time to roll out and y'all plan.
And their faces were backward and they saw not their father's nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine and knew that his younger son had what his younger son had done to him. He said, "Cursed be Canaan, and a servant of servants shall be unto his brethren. He said, "Blessed be the Lord God of Sheim, and Canaan shall be a servant. God shall enlarge Jaffith, and he shall dwell in the tents of Sheim, and Canaan shall be a servant.
And Noah lived after the flood 350 years. And all the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died." Right? So I think I believe Noah was the last person to live that long. Uh, but you see that uh what's his name? Ham got cursed by his own father. He said, "Hey, Ham, you cursed." Cuz you wasn't you wasn't supposed to see your father like that without no clothes. So, you curse, bro.
You know what I mean? You going to have to be a servant to your brothers for what you just did. All right. But y'all, amen in the chat as we go to chapter 10, y'all. Oh, amen in the chat as we go to chapter 10. I ain't gonna lie, y'all.
I'm probably about to skip chapter 10, y'all. We might read chapter 11. I ain't gonna lie, y'all. I ain't gonna lie. I told y'all as I read some of this, I'm not going to go through all the genealologies. I'm not going to read all these names uh because chapter 10 is just going to go until Noah's descendants, his genealogy. Um I'mma kind of skim through it. I don't really uh And we're all baptized in Moses in the cloud in the sea. That too. Yes, that too. That too. Definitely. Uh Steph, you on point with that one, too.
Um but yeah, again y'all just chapter 10 again, it's just talking about the sons of Noah, the sons of Jaff, the sons of Ham, uh the sons of Shim. Um, so if if y'all want to read that, y'all can. You know, I want to, but just get y'all to understand that, hey, some parts in the Bible, you going through these all genealologies. You don't have to read everything because you want to get to the important characters. But if y'all want to read on your own, you're more welcome to. I'll read verse 32 and then we'll read verse uh chapter 11. Verse 32 of Genesis chapter 10. These are the families of the sons of Noah after the generations and their nations. And by these were the nations divided and the earth after the flood. So again, God said, "Hey, you know, multiply, fill the earth." So that's all that's going on.
They're having kids, filling the earth.
Everybody's being divided, having their own people. Uh if you're in lineage in history is good for you. Yeah. So again, y'all can do that your own time. Russia ain't going to read all that. Uh but we'll read chapter 11, y'all. Let's read chapter 11.
Uh so it says, "And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech." I wonder what that language was. That's interesting, though. Uh it says the whole the earth was of one language, of one speech. I wonder what that one language was, you know. And it came to pass as they journeyed from the east that they found a plain in the land of Shannar and they dwelt there. And they said to one another, Polyar could be.
And they said to one another, um maybe it was Espanol, I don't know. And they said to one another, go to let us make brick and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime and slime had they for mortar. And they said, go to let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach into heaven. and let us make make us a name. Let lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. So these men were like, "You know what, man? Y'all y'all know what we should do? We should get some brick and all this stuff and we should build a big tower." And y'all, we should build a big tower all the way up into the heavens. That's what we should do, y'all. Right? So we don't be scattered so we can just still be one people. So let's let's try to build a big tower so we can we can make a name for ourselves and we can reach up to the heavens and and be like God, right? Verse five. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of man build it. And the Lord said, "Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language. And this they began to do uh and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do."
Verse 7, "Go to" or God basically said, "Let's go down and there confound their language that they might be not that they may not understand one another's speech." So the Lord scattered them abroad from the dense from upon the face of the earth and they left off to build the city. Right? So again, God was like, "You know what? These folks doing too much. I'm going to get everybody a different language. So y'all ain't going to be able to talk to each other. You speaking English. He's speaking Aramaic.
You speaking Espano. He speaking Chinese. Y'all ain't going to be able to build this tower. Now y'all going to have to go with your own people and speak your own language. But y'all ain't doing that here. Y'all not. No, I'm not letting that happen." Verse N. Therefore is the name of it called Babel because the Lord did did there did confound the language of all the earth and from thence did the Lord scatter them from abroad upon the face of the earth. Um I think somebody said this too uh the significance of that he they called it the tower of babel because you know you probably you listen to somebody and you don't know what they saying. You it sound like they babbling like you babbling bro I don't know what you're saying bro you can't understand their language right. Uh verse 10 is this one to go into generations again. Oh gosh, I'll read it cuz it's about to talk about Abram. These are the generations of Shim. Jim Shim was a hundred years old and begat Arasad 2 years after the flood. And Shim lived and Shim lived after he begget Araside 500 years and begat sons and daughters.
And Aphaside lived 530 years and begat Salah. And Arasai lived after he begget Salah 43 years and beg sons and daughters. So you can see that the years of them living is kind of going down and down and down from 900 to 500 to 400 and it eventually get to 120. Uh verse 14, and Solah lived 30 years and begat Eber.
And Solah lived after he begat Eber 43 years and begat sons and daughters. And Eber lived 430 years and begat Pelleg.
And Eber lived after he begat Pelleg 430 years and and begat sons and daughters.
Verse 18. And Pelleg lived 30 years and begat Ru. And Pelleg lived after he begat Ru 29 years and beg sons and daughters. Verse 20. And Ru lived 230 years um and begat Sarug. And Ru lived after he begat Sar 27 years and begat sons and daughters. And Surig lived 30 years and begat Nahor. And Sur lived after he begat Nahor 200 years and begat sons and daughters. Verse 24. And Nahor uh lived nine uh 9 and 20 years and begat Terara. And Nahorah lived after he begat Terara 119 years and begat sons and daughters. And Terara lived 70 years and begat Abram who we're going to talk about big figure in the Bible we know.
No, and Haron. Verse 27. These are the generations of Terara. Terara begget Abram, Noor, Haron. And Haron begat Lot.
Um now again if you read the Apocrypha uh I uh I went deep into it. Um where it talks about Abram. It talks about his father uh Tara. His father Terara really got into idolatry. He really got into or worshiping different gods at that time in the times of uh the king uh who was the king. What's his name y'all? I forgot his name. I just had his name in my mind. It was King um gosh, who was the king at that time, y'all? King Nimrod. Is it Nimrod? I believe it was King Nimrod if I'm not mistaken during that time when he was ruling on the earth. I believe it's King Nimrod. But again, that's an Apocrypha if you want to go a little deeper into it. Uh Nimrod. Yeah, King Nimrod. Verse 28. and and Heron Haron died before his father Terara in the land of naptivity in Ura of the Chaldes and Abram and Nahar took them wives. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai and the name of Noor's wife was Milka. Uh and the daughter of Haron, the father of Mila, and the father of Iska.
Uh but Sarah uh Sarai was barren and she had no child. And Terara took Abram and his son and Lot the son of Haron his son's son and Sarah's daughter-in-law his son Abram Abram<unk>'s wife and they went forth with them from the Chaldes to go into the land of Canaan and they came into Har and dwelt there and the days of Terra were 205 years and Terara died in Har. All right, but let's get an amen in chat y'all for chapter 11.
Chapter 11. Are y'all enjoying this so far? Let me know in the chat if y'all enjoying this reading so far. Again, y'all, we're going to try to get through the whole entire Bible, y'all. I don't know how long it's going to take. It might take to the end of the year. It may take a whole year. Uh, but again, I I y'all just hold me accountable as we kind of go through the whole Bible.
Again, I I've been feeling like I need to do this for a long time. I'm muffled a little bit. Am I? Let me know if I sound clear, y'all.
Am I good? Let me know if I sound clear.
Somebody said I sound muffled.
Do y'all want to read one more chapter?
Okay, a little muffled. Good. I don't know what be going on with my phone. Uh, y'all want to do one more chapter? I feel like we can do it. I I feel in the spirit to do one more chapter, y'all. I feel in the spirit to do one more one more chapter, you know, as we talk about uh Abram. Let's do it. Let's do it.
Let's do it. Let's do it. Y'all know pastor be getting hot up here, man. You know what I mean? Uh, let's do one more chapter. My favorite story coming one more time. One more time for somebody in the back. Genesis chapter 12. Now the Lord uh said unto Abram uh get thee out of your country and from your kindred and from your father's house into a land that I will show thee. So he like again as I was talking about with his father his father Terara was into he worshiped different gods. He had a lot of gods that he worshiped. Uh again if you go read it he end up Abram ended up destroying those gods that his father had um and everything like that. His father was mad about him for that. So God was like hey you got to it's time for you to go because your pops tripping your family tripping. They worshiping different gods that I ain't never tell them to worship. So I'm I'm about to do something special with you. I need you to leave your people and go and do your own thing. And I I take that as too as a lesson for me is man again man sometimes you got to leave your hometown bro.
Sometimes you got to leave the place that you grew up in. And again maybe not everybody but sometimes you got to leave your hometown especially if you know if it's if it ain't right for you. people hate, you know. You know, sometimes people in your own, it be your own people in your own hometown that I hate on you. You know what I mean? Sometimes you got to leave. Sometimes you got to get a whole new environment. You got to get yourself in a whole new just different energy. You know what I mean?
So, that's what God was like, "Hey, it's time for you to leave. It's time for you to go build your own family, do your own thing, start you a new journey." Right?
Uh but verse two, God says, "I will make thee a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing, and I will bless them that bless thee, and I will curse them that curse you, and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." So God already told him, "Hey, whoever blessed you, I'm going to bless them, too. Whoever mess with you, bro.
Hey, let letting him know. Don't don't mess with him. He not the one." Verse four, so Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him. And Lot went with him, which was his nephew. And Abram was 75 years old when he departed out of Haron.
And Abram took his Sarah Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son and all this substance that they had gathered and the souls that they had gotten in Haron the people in your circus matter now for sure. And they went forth to go into the land of Canaan and to the land of Canaan they came. Verse six. And Adam passed through the land of the place of scum into the land of Mariah. And the Canaanite was there in the land. And the Lord appeared unto Abram and said unto thy seed will I give this land. And there built an altar unto the Lord who appeared unto him. Verse eight. And he removed from then unto a mountain of the east of Bethl, and pitched his tent, having Bethl on the west, and high on the east. And there he built an altar unto the Lord, and called the name of the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord, and Abram journeyed going on still into the south. Verse 10. And there was a famine in the land. And Abram went down into Egypt to Sergeon there. For the famine was grievious in the land. And it came to pass uh when he was coming to near into Egypt that he said unto Sarai his wife, "Behold now, I know that you are a fair woman to look upon." So he's see the Bible trying to keep it slick. They bae, I know you fine, bae, you got the coke bottle shake, bae, I know what you fine. These men going to want to get at you. I know they going to want to get you at you, bae. So, I got to I'm going to come up with a plan so they don't mess with us, right? So, he said, "I know that you're a fair woman to look upon. Therefore, it shall come to pass when the Egyptians shall see you, they will say, this is his wife, and they will unal alive me, right? But they will uh but they will save you, right? Say, I pray thee, right, that you are my sister, that it may be well with me for my for my sake, and my soul shall live because of thee.
So, he like, hey, I know you look good.
They going to think you my wife. They going to try to take my life, and they going to try to steal you from me. So, let's just say you my sister so we both can live, right?
She is his sister, right? So he's like, "Hey, tell them we're going to just say you my sister so we can live so they don't unlock allow me." Verse 14. And it came to pass that when Aan was coming to Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair or she was fine.
All right? The princes also of Pharaoh saw her and commended her before Pharaoh. And the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. And he entreated Abram well for her sake. And he had sheep and oxmen and donkeys, men servants, maid servants, and she donkeys and camels.
And the Lord and the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarah, Abram<unk>'s wife. And Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this that you have done unto me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
Why did you say she is my sister so I might have taken her to me wife? Now therefore, behold your wife, take her and go your way." And Pharaoh commanded his man concerning him, and they sent him away and his wife and all that he had said. He like, "Bro, why you do this? Why you ain't tell why you tell me she was your sister? Why you didn't tell me she your wife now? Now God sending all these plagues up on me and all that.
But but Adam, Abram was like, "Well, I had to tell you that because now you going to let me go cuz now you see what?
Now you see that my God don't play about me, right? You see my God going to put a plague up on you if you mess with me or my people." So now you see he said, "All right." So he sent him away and his wife and all that he has. Y'all get up out of here. Yeah. I ain't going to do nothing to y'all. I'm going just let y'all go.
I'mma let y'all go cuz I don't want no smoke with y'all guy. All right. But let's get a amen in the chat, y'all.
Amen.
Amen. Amen. So y'all, we made it through what? 12 chapters. We made it through 12 chapters today. So when we when I return y'all, we will start back on Genesis chapter 13. Uh I might it probably be on Monday, y'all. Most likely I I'll do live again on Monday. But we going to continue to keep reading though, y'all.

Of course, I believe in Genesis. What you mean? It's cool. I'm still at work. Look at y'all on the clock. Look at y'all on the clock listening to the word. Y'all can get in trouble. I'm going tell all y'all managers. But yeah, somebody said, "Do you believe in Genesis?" Of course, we believe in the whole Bible, bro. Of course. Of course. Um, but we go ahead and say a prayer though, y'all. Anybody need prayer for anything? Uh, after the prayer, I'll stay on for a little bit.

Lord, we just ask that you be with us mentally, Lord, in our mental health, any depression or anxiety that we might be going through, any trauma we may be facing. Lord, just help us to be close to you and keep our faith in you, Lord, and repent, Lord, for we know not the time of the hour, Lord, but we want to be prepared, Lord, like how Noah and his family was prepared when you do return, Lord.
