ABC13 Weather Watch: Thunderstorms continue Wednesday morningAdded:
Good morning everyone. I'm ABC 13 meteorologist Elissa Smith did Mother Nature give you an early wake-up call this morning? Yes, we had an intense line of thunderstorms track through Southeast Texas. Now the main wave has moved out. We're left with just a little rain for the morning commute some wet roads as well, but what I'm monitoring at this hour this morning is another wave of intense thunderstorms that are severe warned closer to Corpus Christi.
That said, I do anticipate them to hold together to potentially move into Southeast Texas and Houston later today.
So I'm keeping our ABC 13 weather watch through later this morning into the lunchtime hour. Keep it here to ABC 13 for the latest weather updates on this rainy Wednesday.
