It means somebody that just brushes aside others' feelings. Someone that when you talk to them, they go one-word answers. They push it aside. And when you say, "Well, how are you feeling? What are you thinking?" They go like this, "I don't know. It's just whatever. That's fine."

[00:00:18]And when you really push, they might go philosophical or intellectual. "Well, I suppose in the grand state of things."

[00:00:24]But they're never able to actually share personal data. This is how I feel. This is what I'm thinking. This is how worried I am. This is how happy I am.

[00:00:33]These are my thoughts delivered straight to you. They're not able to do that because their emotions are blocked even from themself. I want to be clear, they're probably not holding out on you.
